Nanami Kento was the best teacher! He was stern, smart, understanding, and so so patient and kind that it almost made you feel bad interrupting his class with your dreamy sigh. It made him pause for a beat, making you jolt in embarrassment when you make eye contact before he returns to the lesson. You could watch him for eons; forever focusing on his thick, heavy hands that were calloused somewhat while he wrote on the board. Your eyes continued to wander to his shoulders, lingering to his arms, his waist, his hips, oh, he's making you sigh again.

He was so strong and took care of himself. You knew this when peaking at his schedule after class while he was occupied elsewhere. On his workout days, you'd swoon at his back when he jogged on the treadmill, watching him do his sets through the windows from the shop across the street. Then, the grocery, this time for that salmon recipe he wants to try, too busy searching for the ingredients to spot you as approaching check out. Or his favorite bake shop he frequented. Granted, the shops coffee cups and snack wrappers were usually found in his garbage, anyways. But what bugged you out of all were the one-on-one tutoring sessions throughout the weeks. So smart, so determined, so patient, so kind for his students, you should have their slots instead.

It's not like you had to be better or worse than your fellow classmates, you only needed to be potential and that's why you had to have these sessions with Mr. Kento about your recent failing marks. You had to look up at him with a pout and threatening tearful eyes as you just couldn't get a handle on this one issue. You needed your teacher's support more than ever as you huffed and got frustrated at seeing your grade lower even more when you were trying youre dearest.. All he could do is look down at you softly, his sympathetic smile that makes your stomach flip, and gentle tone as he goes over the reading again. But that just wasn't enough, you growled and silently glared at your classmate each time he dismissed you for tutoring. Didn't he see you need him most?!

It wasn't your fault that it had come to you pressuring your classmate to seek other tutors and resources, you were just glad they were stupid enough to belive those nasty comments you made about Mr. Kento, even they were true. They weren't good enough to be tutored by Mr. Kento, assuring them that Mr. Satoru would benefit them more. Yes, Mr. Kento's low grunts and vibrating groans of frustration at poor skills not being able to handle such a intellectually low student did give lovely daydreams late at night, but now that his students were drifting to his least favorite coworker, he needed you most! He needed to prove himself and to you he was a worthy teacher, that he needed to be there for you.

"So, why meet at the same typical classroom?" you suggested cheerily, blushing when he raised his brow at you. but instead somewhere with less backrooms aura and more comfortable seating, and warm with comforting lighting, and sweet treats. "What is 'backrooms aura'?" His somewhat amused sigh runs chills through you. He rubs his eyes, quiet for a moment when he leaning beated weight on the table. He looked so tired, the stress was getting to him. He must be doing something utterly wrong if his students are drifting towards his coworker, or his potential student keeps needing his tutoring despite it all, or whatever this growing paranoia that someone has been following him.

You chuckle awkwardly at the moment of silence, bringing him back to reality to look at you for another moment. You smile. He use the excuse of external stresses get ti him now, not during this session that is meant for you. He could not fail you and the fact that you didn't give up on him and seek other resources...He let's out another pity sigh that could almost go unheard. "Mr. Kento?"

"I'm sorry." Your body warms at his tense brows. "Let's continue." his lips pressed tight, his nose flared, and jaw tense.

"I can tell you're struggling..." you begin, his eyes immediately go soft at your words, he's staring at you, patiently waiting, saying words he desperately needed to hear. "I want you to know I care about you, Mr. Kento... I want you to know that... I want to support you just like you've done for me all this time." Another sigh leaves him but it's different, he's relieved that's you've assure him..His eyes flicker and hus brows tense and his new thoughts.

Pond dino is also one of the few cookies with the slit eye design! While not exclusive to dragons this trait is ussualy shared among them excluding lychee [wich May play into there potencialy sucubus inspierd design, next ri might be on em ectualy]

wich further reinforces there relevance to the dragon story! And longan there self says that pondy is the only foil to there plan,more on that laiter.[side note: not all slit eye or slit like eye cookies are in the image showned]

And if you remember i did say i was gonna talk about longans "the only foil to my plan" line earlier so lets start with this final segment!, i belive what this line refers to is that there atempts at destroying cookie kind might not be that eficient if life [aka pond] can still emerge from it, they sunk an entierd palace and possibly flooded a hold island and jet a cookie was borned from this destrucción, longan seams to know what this implies as while still a baby pond thretends there hold plan just by existing somhow, maybe will see somthing simmilar to pond in the future, eather other babys from the ananas and pitaya islands [maybe lychee as well idk how bad there island is as the longan break out starts deep below the surface], some kind of figure or presence in history, or maybe a New legend? Who knows!

But overall if u want a full face of makeup (and skincare too to be honest) u can find gems for cheep that are professional quality

And dont belive all the people trying to tell u that u need to buy expensive shit to have good makeup i use drugstore myself as well

DXM 180mg hbr + weed trip report

8:10 PM: packed a bowl and smoked it. around this time, also hit the pen a few times, and a couple hits of nic vape

10:30 PM: Took 180mg DXM hbr in the form of 12 gelcaps, 15mg each. They were a generic store pharmacy brand of gelcaps, but I made sure to get the kind that contained only dxm and no other active ingredients. If you’re going to do dxm, don’t do it if there’s acetamenophin or guafinesin in whatever you’re taking because it can actually kill you, and it is not pleasant to OD on acetamenophin. Before taking the dxm I took one pill of otc dramamine to combat any nausea. The amount I took should get me to a high first plat, *maybe* a low second plat, or at least so says the dosage calculators. I’ve not done much Hbr in my past, I usually used to do freebase pills and occasionally poli (Delysm). I hadn’t done dxm in over a year now, I know it caused me a bunch of problems in my past, but for some reason lately this past week I’d just been craving it for some reason. Honestly in the past few days I’d just been fiending to get fucked up. And now, I’ve finally done it, i’ve taken my first-second plat dose and I’m waiting for it to kick in. I will try and update every hour. Also note I’ve never combined dxm and weed before, so will see if it’s any different. Also If I end up falling asleep will continue to update in the morning or whenever I wake up.

11:30 PM: Don’t notice any signifigant effects. Bit of a headache. Am lying in bed was watching some youtube videos.

12:00 AM head pounding a bit but it’s not intese pain. Just kind of a headache a bit dizzy/disoreinted bit spinny rooms spinny

12:40 AM head hurts, dizzy. This isn’t like the previous times i’ve done dxm, it’s not kickin in as hard, though to be fair I used to do freebase at higher doses and at that time I was also on abilify and lithium. Gonna try and lie down close my eyes cuz my head hurts

3am: wakw up tripping can barely type tbis. CEV’s and body heavy, dizzy visual snow room spinning. mild nausea. Feel like am on low second plat Obviously no ones awake cuz its 3am and idk

3:22 AM: I realize i mustve slept thru the peak of the trip as it’s 3am. 6AM: less dizzy. head hurts less but still barely hurts a little bit just mildly annoying. The room stopped spinning. Am chillin on the couch, no one else awake yet

7AM: don’t think i’m still tripping, i feel a bit faded but it might be the afterglow or just general me being zooted. The sun is rising

1PM : pupils finally went back to normal size

Thoughts: Dxm fucking sucks. I felt a weird emotion that felt like how a chemical smells. Weird and numb and unable to feel anything. Awful body load. Why would you ever do dxm if you can do anything else. Nostalgia is a liar

But now your pregnant with the yakuza boss's child and the next heir to the organization you need to be more laid back si he would implement a new schedule of waking up later then your normal schedule but no where Paar 10am,meals,light workout of yoga or on a exercise ball,him reading to you,nap,a gentle relaxing hobby if you don't have one meeting the criteria you'd possibly get knitting or embroidery under his watch of course,lunch,a few hours of TV with headphones on your belly(he thinks it's a load of crap but coudnt be too safe),dinner,and finally bed

.rare change in him he would finally let you wear more "umpure" clothes of baggy t shirts and sweats but only after you were crying cause a maternity dress was too uncomfortable to do all your activities in(all his maternity clothes would be stuff for photos he wants to see you at your best 24/7 but you being too uncomfortable broke his heart) he may get used to it and let you keep wearing stuff like that after the delivery instead of his usually white casual dresses

.cravings he would be more lenient on his strict diet but still strict your carrying a baby afterall you need to stay healthy he would indulge in your cravings but not for meals your meals would still be heavily measured to be full if nutrients and all that but the more unhealthy ones he would try and indulge in but when finding ingredients out the stuff he gives you seems strangely healthier

.prays the child is quirkless and you do to(if your aware if Eri even though he would keep that secret) doing all he can do to keep the "plague" out

.despite seeming strict and uptight for it be would be more snuggly though not admitting it he would hold you close and rub your belly if the baby was causing distress or if he was exicted on being a dad and snuggling you more even joining in on your naps even though he was busy and it's not healthy for his sleep schedule it made you a tiniest vit more comfortable it was worth it

.names you would get the final say he didn't care much about the names aslong as it wasn't ridiculous but he woukd plant suggestions even reading baby name books in meetings and using his quirk on anyone who judged or asked which would only be used on newbies who didn't quite grasp the any word on darling without him asking or in a negative manner woukd result in death but it was a unspoken rule.

. Chikd birth he would insist on doing it dressing in full medical garb if scrubs,masks,gloves,and face shield to keep the germs off he knew it woukd be filthy but it was the few times he wpukd put up with it it was apart if you so it was more pure then others and would supply you with heavy drugs to null the pain and if any complications arise hell breaks loose as he keeps his composure subtly calling his workers to get a docter while everyone is tense if you and/or the baby dies no one in the facility would be alive

Raising the baby

.sorry but for diapers,sickness,vomit,ect your not getting help from him and would have to shower to his taste after any of it(at first later you can jsut wash your hands)even though its cruel and selfish of him it is he would get a trusted workers wife or sister to help you with the baby and to help you adapt to the new life still shitty if him

. At the least he helps with the other aspects he'll take over the more clean part of things while you rest even though he only had a kid with you for a heir and to trap you he softened with the kid and woukd read the stories and play games no baby talking though but you have vidoe of him babytalkibg as a last resort when the baby woudnt sleep

.if it's a boy you can't convince me he doesn't follow gender standards his poor son would be held to a higher standard he would be the heir of his organization afterall when the kid would grow past rhe toddler stage of when he would entertain them he woukd start getting serious teaching them the filthiness of quirk and making sure they study along and even pushing him to try instruments along with running a yakuza but would still bring his son on more fun actives and would play games with him exept Mario cart as he fails that game so many times

.if it's a daughter Mafia princess all the way she would still he highly educated by him but less expactions and receive more open affection(your son would still receive affection but less open)getting them princess toys and even a princess bed but she woudnt be the favorite the son would as he would be the faith of the yakuza. You would catch him letting her do his makeup on those cheap toy kits

Only after you set your foot down on the gendering would he resent and open up a bit giving your son more open affection and less harsh cirque and giving your daughter the chance of being the heir and heavier teachings

Would spoil them wither way but not with trips he woudnt let anyone take his chikdren to a germ covered park

No matter what they are homeschooled by tutors he would find only until highschool would they allowed to battens proper school but would be because of you telling him they'd need social skills

No matter how many kids he would still crawl into bed at night rub your belly even though your no longer pregnant and tell you how good of a mother you are

Minecraft lore pt 1: Magic

Enchating

Enchanting tables are made with obsidian,books AND diamonds.Now this already raises some eyebrows because obsidian is one of the canon magical ingredients.Meaning its important to the magic system.But lets put that away for later.Lets move on to the next ingredient,books.It seems that knowledge is extremely important to the system as a whole.Think of exp,a physical interpretation (cant find a better word) of your ingame knowledge.Exp is extremely important to Enchanting things.It plays a role in almost everything in minecraft.Other things that point to knowledge being important to Minecrafts magic system is the fact that the most notable villager who sells enchanted things is the LIBRARIAN.

The last ingredient is Diamonds,but i don't see that as adding anything magical (feel free to debate me),i see it more as decoration.So now lets move onto the actual FUNCTION of enchantment tables.They enchant things,and besides potions (and gold,but more on that later),its the only way for the player and many other "sentient" mobs to obtain magic for themselves. Enchating is pivotal to a game,and it has a huge impact on the lore.its going to come up in other sections a LOT,so-

Levels

Next is levels.

I personally think that levels indicate life force,how much the soul knows.Its why soul sand tries to absorb them.Plus they're only used to enchant items,which directly ties them to the magic system.The more you have,the easier it is to get high enchantments,so that would mean,(atleast according to my theory) that enchantment tables run off of life force.Levels being tied to your life force can also explain why skulk only spreads when exp drops on them (although the warden is a whole other can of worms)

Potions

Ah the potion system my beloved <3.

The potion system is like an equation (ew math) lets pretnd that b (base) = n + p (neatherwart and blaze powder). What then is b + I? (i being the stand in for ingredient).That probably made no sense,but my point is,what makes "b" important and what about "b" makes "I" react? (its like chemistry)

So lets take the base akward potion for example.It gives you no effect,so now we know that "n" by itself cannot cause a potion affect.But what about,for example, fire resistance.Does the netherwart make the magma cream less intense? Is that why you cant ingest magma cream by itself? These are the types of questions that come up when talking about minecrafts potion lore.Now,for times sake i wont go into all the details,but i think you get my point.

Gold

Gold is one of Minecrafts most magical properties. It can heal you!! Revive you!! Make you able to see in the dark!! Make you invisible,and so much more!! So heres what ive found out about gold.

It has major healing properties,and when properly ingested,has several affects.When coated lightly around an apple,it heals your body and allows you to take more hits.However,when heavily coated,it becomes enchanted,glowing with the same purple glow usually only artifacts and things enchanted with an enchantment table do.When consumed,it not only heals you and allows you to take more hits (both to a much higher degree),buf it also makes you resistant to fire,but also a general resistance.

Lets take another example.Totems of undying.They raise you from the dead.They can also only be found in a certian way,but thats for another post.But the point is that they are made almost fully of gold.Again an example of gold having healing properties.

Another example is a potion of instant health,which is made with glistering melon.And what is glistering melon made of? Oh yeah,gold and watermelon slices.Yet Another example of gold having healing potions.

Also golden carrots are the not only the BEST food source in the game (more healing properties in a way),but they also are used to make both night vision and invisibility potions,so take that as you will.

My theory about the world of Minecraft is this: Minecraft itself is filled woth magic,to its very core.I belive that minecraft itself IS magic,and is powered by it.So youll see magic coming up a wholeee ton

So thats part one!! The introduction honestly,as ill probably do a lot with this.Ill make a google doc aswell,as well as provide a link to the minecraft lore reddit, from which ill be borrowing tests and ideas.But most of my theories are my own ideas.Also this theory that i think is cool.

“Liam!” May called entering the house, using his copy of the key to open the door instead of breaking it down, after the first month they realized that May not having a key made no sense as he would stay stuck inside, “Are you there? Liam? hey, pal, are you-”

“Imma here,” Liam asked in a sleepy voice as he got out of his room, he glanced at the clock on the wall, “It’s… it’s like five in the morning May what-”

“I got a job!” May said happily.

“Oh?” Liam asked, suddenly very much awake, “That’s great! Come here,” wrapped his friend into a hug, “Congratulations, where will you work?”

“One of these moving companies, you know, I’ll be carrying stuff in and out of trucks. Which is both easy to do and demands no thinking so that’s great!”

No thinking. Liam wanted to tell May he shouldn’t think so low of himself, that he wasn’t stupid like he belives, but it wasn’t the right moment and they would have time to talk now that May was living there so-

“And there is a nice motel near the place!” May said happily, “There also a apartment complex really close, I’ll talk to the landlady later today to see if she can hold a room until next month so I-”

“Wait wait wait wait,” Liam cut, rubbing his eyes as if the sleepiness had made him misunderstand the words, “You are leaving?”

“Hmmmm yeah?” May tilted his head, “I’m really grateful you let me stay for so long, but I can’t take advantage of you, right? So now that I have a job I can-”

“Wait wait wait. Let me- let us- sit down please, I- We need to talk about it, right? You can’t just move, right? I mean, you can, I won’t hold you but, I mean- let’s sit please.”

May sat down, tilting his head in confusion and cracking his knuckles in nervousness, “Did I do something wrong?”

“No, of course not, I just… I thought… Listen, I’m glad you got a job, it’s great news! I’ll buy the ingredients to make a cake as soon as the market opens but…I thought you… liked living here…” the last words were barely a whisper.

“I like it! Liam, you know I do! but I don’t want to be a bother, so isn’t it better if I move?” aren't you better off without me?

“Of course not! You aren’t a bother at all, you are my friend, and I… did I, somehow, make you think you weren’t welcomed here?”

“No, no, no, you were great! Since the first day, I, on the other hand, …broke into your house, for example.”

“That was months ago, and looking back it was great because this brought you into my life,” he looked down, suddenly sweating too much. “You're not bothering me.”

“Still, I’m sure you liked living alone before I messed that up. You are a great pal! Allowing me to stay here, not getting bothered by everything, but you deserve better.”

“I think I expressed myself badly when I said you aren’t bothering me,” Liam said, May flinched at that and stopped breathing, “I’m not great at this talking about feelings thing May but, look at me,” May did, afraid that he would hear hurtful words “I like you living here, you are not bothering me, you are making my life better, I liked living alone and I love to live with you.”

May looked deep into his eyes, somewhat surprised, somewhat relieved, he opened his mouth to say something and closed again, smiling sweetly, unfit to his threatening appearance, “Well… the job isn’t that far so commuting would be pretty easy, from here I mean.”

Liam opened a wide smile, he aprouched May and pulled him into a longer hug. “You know what? Forget waiting, let’s drive until we find an open restaurant or something. We have things to celebrate.”

“We do,” May agreed, feeling the weight on his shoulders being lifted.

I was wondaring what you think of cas as a cook?

a lot of fans think he would be a bad cook, but I belive for Castiel acts of service are his love language and I think he would be fairly good it it.

like the time he told jack he would make him soup, so maybe cas just learns hoe to make comfort foods for himself and his loved ones

Hi! Cas and cooking! Fun thing to think about.

I have no doubt he could cook well if he wanted to. I have friends who are vegeterians but cook meat containing dishes for their family, they do not taste the food, but the food comes out amazing.

Cooking is really chemistry. I just have this assumption that angels have a innate understanding of the laws of nature, agents of such laws actually. So I would think the laws of cooking comes naturally to him. He would need some knowledge of what type of chemical outcomes would be favorable to human taste, but that knowledge could be easily gleaned through observation and correlation, as long as there is motivation to do so. As you said his drive to support and comfort his loved ones will make that leap a no-brainer.

I also do like to imagine in his brief time as human he learned to cook (I like to imagine he had friends who taught him) more than just PB&J sandwich. It's so sad to think all he ate with PB&J in that time, even though his fondness for it was endearing. I just like to imagine that when he was living in poverty he was not just struggling alone, but someone just as poor showed him how he could feed himself for a week for a couple of dollars by buying cheap ingredients that can be turned into something delicious, like a neckbone soup with potatoes and greens. I like to imagine him finding not only nourishment, but a sense of accomplishment from that.

Criterion Spotlight : The Robe

So recently got the Criterion Channel so I am gonna be checking out random movies that strike my fancy

I just checked out the bibical epic the Robe

This 1953 film followa Roman soldier Marcellus Gallio (Richard Burton ) ,who executes a man and wins his robe in a game ....The man in question being Jesus Christ ,and Marcellus goes mad after using the robe .After Marcellus's slave Demitirus (Victor Mature ) runs off whith the robe ,Marcellus ,beliving he has been cursed ,must find the robe and burn it ,thus sets off on a journey .....Perhaps a journey of redemption ?

So this film was enjoyable .I really like the premise following the man who killed Christ ,I just think thats a novel idea .I also applaud it for being a biblical epic that actually discusses faith .The sets and costumes are gorgeous ,and there is a rather impressive sword fight.Victor Mature is impressive as Demitirus ,a slave who turns to Christianity ,Michael Rennie brings gravitas to Peter , but of the leads Jean Simmons is the stand out as the love interest Diana.What really makes the film though are the supporting actors:Its fun to see Torin Thatcher ,normally known for playing villains as just a stern father ,Dean Jagger brings warmth as Justus ,and Jay Robinson is a perfect slimey villain as Caligula .The stand outs for me are two one scene roles ,the always great Ernest Thesiger bringing a sense of power but also his sense of humor to the role of Tiberius and Michael Ansara ,playing a certain Biblical character who I wont name ,but his scene on its own is FANTASTIC

If you noticed that I left out any actor.....That would be because I think he is the worst aspect of the film :Richard Burton.This film needed a good lead, and Burton is just not invested ,and I also really hated how the fits of madness were depicted .Also didnt think Richard Boon was that great as Pilate

Honest this is a film I kind of want to see a remake of cause it has good ingredients ,but could be improved .For what it is I enjoyed the film
