THERE'S A BIRD STUCK IN MY DRYER DUCT

I'm not Currently waiting on maintenance to come deal with it. It took me an hour to get a hold of someone. But then I found out that our emergency maintenance line is for the management company who owns our apartment complex. One poor man is running that phone line on his own and with the weather this weekend he's been BUSY. He did say this is a more exciting call than what he's been getting all weekend, but even he didn't know how to put it in the system. I guess there's no "animal in dryer duct" button. Of course this happened while @nerdy-teddy is visiting his family across the country.

Do you think that with the way the eggs are so much more in tune to qTubbo's true state and how they interact differently with him than anyone else, that they go to him because they know he's unique?

I'm thinking with the way Richas went straight to Tubbo to ask about building a new NINHO, already as secretive and concerned as Tubbo already was.

Do you think that the eggs, seeing Tubbo more truly than most, see how smart he is and think he's the one who can create an answer to their problems?

Do you think with his commitment to never lie to the eggs, they feel he's the only one they can genuinely trust with their safety?

Do you think that the other islanders seeing Tubbo as they do- niave, childish, selfish, foolish- that the eggs see that as an advantage? That Tubbo's strengths are kept secret, so no threat will ever suspect that hes the key to the children's lives?

I'm just thinking about that bunker under a potato farm, and how the eggs thought to go to Tubbo first because he already had a plan to keep them safe without needing to ask. And how he promised to rectify the mistakes from last time, and has turned the secrets they all keep into their greatest hope for defense

Chenford aside, the storyline I want to really see explored this season is Harper.

"I am an enigma wrapped in a badass riddle."

I love the way she describes herself😂 but I also want to see her trauma explored more deeply. Especially with this latest shooting and how it will affect her, and how James will take it. Obviously, this isn't the first time Harper has shot someone. Nolan said himself, "Harper has seen things that would give Freddy Krueger nightmares."

But I think Harper very much compartmentalizes the job. And out of all of them, I think she is the best at leaving work at the station and making sure she is present for her family when she is home.

Having said that, I think she internalizes a lot of it. And seeing how James was when Harper was trying to help the kidnapped boy and when she was trying to assist with Fiona Ryan's stalker, I think he's definitely going to have opinions on her killing this man, even though it was the right call and had to be done in order to save Lisa.

I know we're short on time this season, but I do hope we get to see some of this explored.

Ninth House fans, please reassure me that Harrow the Ninth is worth it.

I'm about 40% of the way through, and I'm having so much less fun than I did with Gideon the Ninth. I literally never know what's going on, why it matters, and what the fuck half the words even mean.

I thought the first one was confusing, but at least it made some kind of sense.
