I am really surprised that the writers of the SMG4 series didn't make Axol a shipper on deck for SMG4 X SMG3.

From what I understand, the reason Axol was killed off was because the writers didn't know what to do with his character after The Anime Arc. While I do think the Axol X Melony arc was a good idea, I also think him being a shipper on deck for SMG4 X SMG3 could have enhanced his character and could have endeared him to audiences way more.

Think about it: He gets up to shenanigans all for the purpose of helping two people he believes are in love but are too shy to tell their feelings to each other. It'd be a hilarious sideplot for multiple episodes or even a continuous storyline happening in the background.

Audience members who were also shipping SMG4 X SMG3 could have someone to relate to among the cast and cheer on his plans.

Plus, once the Axol gets a crush on Melody subplot kicks in, SMG3 could give Axol a taste of his own medicine for those in the audience who didn't like the direction for the character.

This was indeed a very late tribute from Three Years Ago, but I couldn't help myself considering that I've cried so hard during Axol's sacrifice. I love the Web Series for what it's for, its own Surreal Humor centering around Memes while also having its very own Dark Moments, even for a Parody series of a Popular Game Franchise.
