One Dress a Day Challenge
November: Oscar Winners
The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert / Hugo Weaving as Anthony "Tick" Belrose (Mitzi Del Bra)
Year: 1994
Designer: Tim Chappel and Lizzy Gardiner
In a movie full of flamboyant costumes, this minidress adorned with pink and orange flip-flops definitely stands out for its original materials. It's got a definite 1960s vibe, between the length, the colors, and the "pop art" feel to it. Accessories include matching earrings, knee-high "gladiator" sandals, a cotton-candy-pink wig, and many large rings.
This was the first movie I ever saw Hugo Weaving in, so he wasn't cemented as "Agent Smith" in my mind, as he seems to have been for those who first encountered him in The Matrix. Consequently, I had no trouble shifting to viewing him as Elrond in the LOTR movies.

This Australian animated film retells the story of Beowulf from the point of view of the monster. You can watch it here.

I don't know if anybody came across this movie or not, but Wolf Creek is not only the horror thriller Ryan has played.
6 Plots is a horror thriller based on 6 high school friends which means you get to see a 23-year-old charming Ryan playing a dandy teenager. He is quite lovely in the movie. I bet if I had known this man in 2012 through this movie I would've had a huge crush on him.
Enjoy another beautiful performance by my man, RYAN CORR.

One Dress a Day Challenge
April: Yellow Redux
Strictly Ballroom / Gia Carides as Liz Holt
Liz wears this eye-catching feather-trimmed gown for the opening competition sequence. It gives her more than a passing resemblance to a lemon meringue pie--but even with the gold sequins and plunging neckline, it's positively restrained compared with some of the other costumes seen in the movie. (She may have the most extreme hairstyle, though--just look at those sequinned bangs!)
The photo of the dress on a mannequin may possibly be from the stage show, but it looks identical to the movie version.
