« Trump won’t just go away; he'll have to be defeated. And Haley can’t defeat him because she has no answer for the central problem: She needs the support of a group of voters who are religiously devoted to him.
However, I do believe that the longer she stays in the race, the more damage she’ll do to Trump’s bid.
[ … ]
It's probably not her intention, but Haley is providing a service to the nation: a soft launch of reminding voters that Trump is a chaos agent of the highest order who put the nation through a dizzying series of unnecessary crucibles that tested the very durability of our institutions and our ability to withstand his anti-democratic onslaught.
Haley has begun to do the work that Biden and his campaign team will greatly expand on — if they're smart. »
— Charles M. Blow writing in the New York Times.
For some bizarre reason, candidates for the GOP presidential nomination thought they could make headway without criticizing the deeply flawed frontrunner.
When Nikki Haley belatedly started slamming Trump, the public attention devoted to her campaign shot up. It's certainly too late to do her much good, but her attacks on Trump do increase the possibility of him responding in such a way that women voters would find offensive.
If Trump loses this year, the GOP will be in shambles. If the party doesn't disintegrate like the Whigs, it will be looking to somebody who was not tied too closely to Trump. By publicly creating some space between herself and The Orange One, Nikki Haley could be looking ahead to 2028.
In the meantime, the more people attacking Trump from different directions – the better. There's already some indication that Biden, or at least his surrogates, are stepping up attacks on Trump's economic record. Reminding voters that Trump's fumbling of the early pandemic response led to economic meltdown should get more emphasis.

I don’t think liberals fully understand what Biden’s pro-Israel stance has done to his reelection chances.
This is because liberals want to feel righteous, but don’t want to sacrifice their comfort to do so. In their eyes, being comfortable with Biden’s g3n0cid41 stance is worth not dealing with Trump’s mean tweets.
Liberals want to live in a very strange world.
One where a Democrat president is totally powerless to alleviate suffering, but where a Republican president has all the power in the world to cause it.
And they need to live in this world to justify voting for g3n0cid3.
Otherwise, they are just as bad as the conservatives.
And they can’t have that.
Their self-righteousness is all they have to differentiate themselves from conservatives.
And quite honestly, it’s become increasingly difficult over the past few years to tell the difference between a liberal and a conservative. This tweet says it best:

““How do you give opposing views on the Holocaust?”
“Then, in April 2022, as the school year was winding down, she received an email from a mother and activist who’d been among the most outspoken opponents of diversity, equity and inclusion programs at Carroll. McGuirk’s heart was racing as she opened the email. The parent had copied senior district administrators and a pair of like-minded school board members. “Did you know April is contract negotiation month?!?” the parent wrote, and then shared a link to an audio file.
When McGuirk clicked play on the file, she immediately recognized it as a recording of her anonymous interview with “NBC Nightly News” from the previous fall. Someone, it seems, had managed to undo the complex digital distortion that our audio engineers had applied to mask her voice and the voice of another Carroll teacher who’d spoken to us.
“Oh my God,” McGuirk thought as she played the clip again, recognizing her own voice with near-complete clarity. The audio still sounded slightly distorted, making clear this wasn’t a leak of our raw footage, but instead a feat of digital wizardry.”
Exactly how this was possible, and who did it, remains a mystery. Audio experts said it likely would have required sophisticated software and someone with advanced technical knowledge to reverse the distortion techniques used by major broadcast outlets to mask the voices of confidential sources. The audio file linked in the email also included the unscrambled voice of a third Carroll educator who’d spoken anonymously to CNN in a separate interview about the Holocaust controversy.
Based on the other names copied on the parent’s email, it did not appear she or other conservative activists had successfully identified the two other teachers who’d given television interviews. In McGuirk’s case, they’d compared the unscrambled audio of her October interview with a recording of her public school board comments.
“I never in a million years would have imagined people would go to such extreme lengths to punish a teacher,” McGuirk said.”
Oligarchs and their dark money political foundations will stop at nothing to destroy your life.

Since the freedom caucus successfully bullied the RNC into nominating a far-right candidate, why don't the moderate Republicans just vote for Jeffries?
I need everyone to understand there ARE no moderate Republicans. They will go down with the flaming MAGA lunatic ship rather than work with Democrats ever, on anything. That's just how it is. They may play moderate on cable news, but that's the truth.

Insurrectionist says what?
145 notes · View notes
It’s called asymmetrical warfare. If you can’t face off successfully against a more powerful nation on the battlefield you weaken and ultimately destroy it with attacks on infrastructure and disinformation to divide its people. It’s one of the main reasons Republicans want to kill off the rest of us and divide into smaller nations.
Who would benefit from American internal strife, civil war, or secession? Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea would be the primary beneficiaries of a weakened or divided America. Oligarchs also would have a field day plundering the remnants of the US if the government could no longer enforce regulation of industry, commerce, and banking.
Right-wingers, many trained on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan, have been testing the waters by launching physical attacks on power grids. The right wing lunatic fringe believes the government would dissolve if power were lost just for two weeks. They could then live out their well known desire to be in an apocalyptic Wild West state.

Sick and tired already of American liberals immediately trying to somehow make what's happening in Brazil somehow republicans fault.
It's literally Fucking Democrats.
You wanna be mad at people spreading right wing ideology and platforming extremists? Blame Democrats.
Republicans arent the ones intentionally platforming extremists in the first place. ACTUAL normal Republicans are PISSED that they keep losing to extremists who run on a Republican ticket. And they're even more pissed that most people wouldn't even KNOW about the extremist candidates if it wasn't for Democrats intentionally shoving them into people's faces with campaign ads "raising awareness" about extremist candidates.
Democrats may talk shit about Trump but they love him as a candidate even more than Republicans do. Even fucking Bernie Sanders. Yeah. The "left-wing" socdem everyone simps over? He likes Trump too.
Democrats have incentive to keep Trump supporters and extremists on the ballot and they've admitted it.

Republicans are MORE divided over trump than Democrats are.
Take as much time as you need with that.
Then, when you're over it start demanding that Democrats who pretend to hate Trump in interviews and press conferences only to turn around and fund, platform, and aid far right campaigns... Be removed from office.
Demand they stop HELPING trump's picks. Republicans are NOT fucking doing that. They're doing the opposite. Why? Cuz it's costing them seats. Which, sure okay might be a little biased of a reason but at least they fucking have a reason. At least they're TRYING.
Tumblr media
No, I don't want Republicans in charge of anything either but you know what I would NEVER risk to stop it? Putting a fucking white supremacist on the ballot and helping right-wing ideology spread globally JUST so a Democrat can have a seat instead.

Okay I have a little theory about code eggs, I'll try to make sense of it.
I'm thinking why Code Flippa wasn't at the event spawning mobs and attacking players, I'm thinking why she talks (weird) and Code Tilin, Trumpet, and Bobby didn't, I'm thinking why code Chayanne does (perfectly).
First, Code Chayanne and Tallulah are based off of eggs that are still alive, probably made by the federation using data they've collected with pictures and watching them interact with players, built by them from zero, but not acting similar enough, not enough data.
Code Tilin, Trumpet, and Bobby could be made from tampering with the code of actual eggs that have passed away, who were given time to spend some last moment with their parents, then taken away BY the federation, who presumably has all their data and memories, which makes them convincing yes, but hard to control, especially Bobby.
Out of all the deceased eggs, Booby lived the longest and had a strong bond with both of his parents, maybe that's why he didn't fight Jaiden and Roier himself, unlike Tilin and Trumpet who had no problem killing players.
But why wasn't Code Flippa there? Why was she hiding in the caves and talks weirdly, asking Slime not to tell anyone about her being there?
I think Code Flippa is a runaway
Now hear me out! She was the first to die, then brought back to life, DIED AGAIN, was given a gun(unobtainable) by the devil, flew multiple times in creative. Juana Flippa, in my opinion, has the most chaotic code/data out of all the eggs. Whether the eggs were reprogrammed or made out of their original code, I'd say Flippa would be the most difficult to kept under control, which she did broke free of.
Code Flippa is roaming free (as free as hiding from feds can be), trying her best to talk to her dad , and she is not going back.

Stop posting memes about how Joe Biden is so mediocre that he isn't even worth voting for, you're going to make people not want to vote at all and we'll have a repeat of 2016 when people were too lukewarm about Hillary to consider how bad Trump would be. I swear to god, if you actively post that shit I have to assume that you're either a psy-op account or you've been duped by them. I've seen mutuals that I KNOW are more intelligent than that posting those memes and it's making me want to tear my hair out because I really thought y'all knew better.
Yes, the Democratic party is using our legitimate fear of the GOP's fascism as a way to enforce the status quo and avoid making meaningful change. You do know that we still need to vote for them anyway, right? Like, you know that, right? It's important to me that you know that. It's called fucking harm reduction. Harm REDUCTION. Not elimination, reduction.
Y'all motherfuckers act like we're complicit in our own oppression because we're willing to make progress slowly rather than demanding instant perfection and losing to the greater evil when that inevitably fails. It sucks, but being an adult means making hard decisions. There are no good choices, only less bad choices. You still have to make a choice.
Stop encouraging people not to vote. Both sides are not the same. Leftist anti-Biden memes are counterproductive, please stop doing the work of the Russian psy-op accounts for them. I know you're angry, I'm angry too, but I want you to know the deep, soul-crushing fear of a repeat of 2016 that fills me when I see you post that shit. I legit had a flashback of election night 2016 and it sent me spiraling for like an hour, I honest to god almost threw up remembering how crushed and scared I was that night when I realized what was going to happen.
The overton window has been pushed to the right. We can't push it all the way left instantly, it got here over time, and it's going to take time to push it back. Fucking deal with it. Instant gratification is impossible in politics. Post your memes when we're no longer in active danger of a second Trump term. God damn, grow the fuck up.
