🚨URGENT🚨

I am from the northern Gaza Strip. When the war started on October 7, 2033, shells began to fall and the sounds of bombing filled the sky.

My family and I were hiding in the house, afraid to go out because of the intense shelling.

After days, they started threatening us with eviction from our house, so we were forced to flee from place to place, finally reaching Rafah in search of shelter and medicine for my elderly parents, but to no avail.

The harsh conditions and polluted environment have caused our health to deteriorate and we have lost weight. My father's factory and office were destroyed, and we now have no shelter or source of livelihood.

We need your help and support to save our lives from this never-ending disaster, as we live on day 220 of hunger, death, and homelessness.

The Secretary-General was deeply saddened to learn of the death of a United Nations Department of Safety and Security (DSS) staff member and injury to another DSS staffer when their UN vehicle was struck as they traveled to the European Hospital in Rafah this morning.The Secretary-General condemns all attacks on UN personnel and calls for a full investigation. He sends his condolences to the family of the fallen staff member.With the conflict in Gaza continuing to take a heavy toll – not only on civilians, but also on humanitarian workers – the Secretary-General reiterates his urgent appeal for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire and for the release of all hostages.

The field situation is very difficult... and the sounds of shells are loud... and the Israeli army is advancing

As you all may know, the grand majority (around 2 million) of Palestinians in Gaza have had their homes destroyed by Israel and/or have been displaced, and not all have access to proper tents, or any tents at all.

Bad quality tents lead to:

A severe lack of privacy, specially for breastfeeding mothers

More vulnerability to insects and flies

Suffocation and overheating for families inside

Cramming in the tents, leading to having to take turns to sleep.

This is where Hala Sabbah comes into play; She is fundraising to buy and deliver high quality tents to displaced families. You can see exactly what type of tents they are in the second half of the video posted above.

One of these tents usually costs around $700 (they were meant to be free, but profiting off genocide is a thing.) However, with the Rafah invasion, these prices are soaring.

As of today 12th of May, £55,479 out of £80,000 have been collected. With your help, we can reach that goal 💚

This young family is trying to procure a tent and supplies to shelter them in Rafah. Right now they are sleeping on the street, with no privacy and no protection from the elements. This is a horrible way for anyone to live, much less an entire family. The amount they need is relatively low, and I think we can meet their goal quickly if we share widely.

something about how the Capitol insists the Districts are savage and dangerous and deserve it while brutally murdering district children every year for entertainment compared to how people call Muslims terrorists while bombing (or supporting bombing, or funding bombing, or ignoring bombing) thousands upon thousands of innocent civilians in Gaza to death, including children.

Hello everyone

I’m Malk I’m 14 years old but I am feeling that am 70 years😔

My parents took great care of us, giving us everything they had, and my childhood was wonderful to some extent.

I lived through four wars, the latest being in 2021, during which we lost everything: our warm home and my mom's office where she worked in digital marketing.

My dad is one of the owners of the Jewel Tower, but my family decided to leave Gaza for Turkey in 2022 because the tower hadn't been built yet, and to provide a better life for us.

My dad couldn't leave Gaza, so he returned before the war because my grandfather is sick and needs care. I wish I were with my dad because I fear losing him.

The past few months have been the hardest for us and our family.

Omar was studying at University College of Applied Sciences in Gaza when the occupation began its scorched earth collective punishment campaign. His university was destroyed, his home was destroyed, and he was displaced to Rafah. He is currently living in a tent in Rafah, under heavy aerial bombardment and the advance of occupation ground troops.

Before October 7th, Omar was studying Information Technology for a career in the finance sector. He loved his studies and looked forward to advancing them. He hoped to pursue a career which would both bring him personal fulfillment and support himself and his family. Without your support, that dream is irreparably shattered. He is now trying to evacuate Gaza and continue his education abroad.
