chapter 55 art!

So, to state the obvious, Venus is in the cage while Baxter is outside and there's light coming in from Baxter's workspace.

Baxter is trying to warn her in this scene, he's trying to help her at least a little bit. In the end, he gives her the hope and the means to escape.

Just as they share the light, they also share the shadows. There's a thick barrier separating them, but they're still in extremely similar environments. He might as well be in the cage with her, but he isn't. Not really.
