I don't know if anyone else has been wondering why Big Finish have been using obviously photoshopped pictures of the younger Eighth Doctor on their covers of late but I've discovered the reason: though I don't know the ins and out apparently due to rights issues BF are no longer allowed to use images from the TVM (despite having done so for nearly twenty years previously) and have to photoshop other Paul pics instead, with varying results.

Naturally, me being me, once I knew this I had to go looking for matches, didn't I? Of course I did.

First we have very obvious photos from the Dark Eyes shoot, which often results in TVM Eight with stubble; not a great look.

was bored and did this ya books tier ranker … this is like the only ranked like this I’ve seen include individual books from series rather than just the first idk if I like that more or less

#in some cases it Is useful because I like the wicked king significantly more than the cruel prince for instance. in others it was a bit #confusing. did my best #the top row being trc tid and dosab makes so much sense. #I did try to go left to right in terms of favorite to least favorite in each row but it’s not an exact science #but for instance I def like the lunar chronicles way more than fangirl and they’re both in enjoyable but on different sides #there are also some books I read in high school or younger where I’m kind of dubious where they would rank now. we are okay for instance I #did like when I read it but didn’t have strong emotions vs I feel like if I read it now I’d connect to the subject matter a lot more #and then like fangirl would be the opposite I related to it in 8th grade but if I reread I think it might not hit #I also was mostly guessing about the tmi rankings I’d need to reread to be sure. but ik books 3 and 6 are the ones I liked best so they go #to enjoyable at least #did put all the Mara Dyer books in tier 2 because I just remember them making me so crazy. that should be my next paranormal reread fix nex #time I’m in the mood. #s speaks #s does things

Bit of a hot take, but Blaze’s friendship with Cream and Sonic deserves just as much (if not in some ways even more so) attention and exploration as her friendship with Silver given how much they hugely impacted Blaze and helped her to grow as a person. This applies both to canon and in the fandom space.

Avengers in the tower together with Loki and things are chill except for the brodinsons who have Absoluteky Not worked through their issues and refuse to talk civilly to each other most days then one day there’s an emergency with the tower getting attacked and they’re forced to fight in their pajamas and everything is fine no one gets seriously injured all is well and then Clint asks why Thor and Loki are wearing matching sleepwear (red/green). This solves absolutely none of the aforementioned conflicts and makes everything worse.

okay so I’m thinking yknow like vampires. Vampires are undead so if they die then I don’t think they could leave a ghost. But werewolves? Werewolves are just people who got cursed furry style. They still have souls. If a werewolf died I think they could totally play by the usual ghost rules of violent deaths and unfinished business etc. so then I’m wondering, if a werewolf dies and leaves a ghost, is that ghost still a werewolf, or did dying break the curse? Cause like. Imagine. Youre a ghost but you still turn into a wolf every full moon. And your wolf sona is just out there acting an undead fool once a month. So anyway let me set the scene. Old house, next to some woods. The locals say some old loner died out there in mysterious circumstances. A couple moves in, they’re so optimistic. It’s so scenic. What a lovely private piece of land. Only… ah. It’s got a bit of a wolf problem. Oh well it’s the woods they expected some wildlife to come with that. But then,, hmm. The house might be haunted too? Yikes. Now this couple will soon discover that on the bright side, these two big issues are actually only one big issue. Unfortunately that one issue is a werewolf ghost.
