Assassins Creed Odyssey

- A continuation of after the end of the game, based on history. Including Alkibiades' invasion of Sicily and flight to Sparta.

- An OC centered story where the OC, Delana, travels all across Greece to find out about her past and tries to make her way back home. Clashing with Kassandra, being charmed by Alkibiades and eventually falling for Stentor, all of which threatens to tamper with her plans of ever returning home.

-> Looking for someome to play Stentor and Kassandra

-> Canon based RP, but can include own OCs as well, as long as they're based on ACO

Ancient Greece

- A story of two young civillians escaping war, trying to make a living elsewhere

-> OC based RP

- A story of four young Athenian women fighting for equality. Alternative history.

- I'm open for any kind of Ancient Greece based RPs. It can be historical, mythological or improvised. Ideas welcome.

Detroit Become Human

- A story of Ralph getting a happy ending. The OC of the story, Amber, has to spend the night at an abandoned house due to losing a bet. Little does she know that it is already inhabited by the damaged WR600 Ralph. What starts as fear from both sides, over time turns into friendship and later romance. Together they try to make it work as a rather odd couple and aid Markus in his endeavour of freeing the androids.

-> Canon + OC centered story

Stargate Atlantis

- This RP takes place after the events of the series. Atlantis is back in the Pegasus galaxy and is struggling to make ends meet. They're running low on ressources, having to fight. back the wraith over and over again. The IOA thus decides to send in a group of elite soldiers, in order to aid the Atlantis mission, much to the dismay of everyone on Atlantis. To add oil into the fire, the Atlantis expedition finds itself having to rely more and more on their frienemy Todd. They soon realise, that in order to defeat the wraith, they must make some notable sacrifices. A difficult task begins. One of the soldiers, the OC, Kate, will be tasked with trying to befriend Todd, hoping to not only win him as a reliable ally, but also to learn about wraith culture, to finally turn the tides in their ongoing fight with the enemy. What starts as a ploy, will later turn into friendship and even love, despite all odds being against the unusual couple.

-> This is a slow burn romance with high focus on wraith culture, cultureclash between humans and wraith as well as sci-fi and background stories

The Hobbit

- OC based story where the OC, Namara travels to Middle-Earth by means of a portal. There she happens to stumble across three dwarved of Thorin's company on their way to Bagend. She can hardly believe to really find herself in Tolkiens world. She, being an avid fan of the franchise, soon finds herself having to make a difficult decision: Does she aid Thorin Oakenshield on his quest and save his life and those of his nephews, or, does she withhold her knowledge, in order to prevent unforeseen cathastrophies to emerge from the alterered reality forged by her influence?

-> This is a OC based story, with adventure at it's core, and is planned to have a romantic sublot with Kili

Castlevania

- Continuation of the story after season 4. Alucard finally faces his demons and heals as a character. A slow burn Romance + Frienship. Alucard x Greta. Perhaps reuniting with his parents.

-> Canon based RP

- Continuation of the events after season 4. Hector travels the world in order to write his book and try to reconnect with humanity. He eventually ends up in Paris, where he meets an OC and her chaotic friends. For the first time he feels as if he actually found friends. Still confused and struggling with all this? Hector has to work through his inner demons and his trauma in order to be able to allow his heart to love again. And that is easier said than done.

Rules:

- I write literate till advanced literate. Occasionally I do semi-lit, but only for action sequences, not as a RP style

- The core of all those RPs is character accuracy. If you wish to play a role, make sure you can portray them accurately. Similarly, I will do my absolute best to do so as well

- No OP OCs, make your characters flawed, please

- SMUT is okay, as long as it is within context of the story. In fact, it is even welcomed in that case

- You reply when you feel like it. I don't care how long you take, just give me a heads up if you want to leave for good. I will do the same.

- I speak German, English, French and Italian, but preferably roleplay in English.

- And most importantly, have fun!

and like related to the last reblog, I think marketing RPGs for a broad and generalized audience (rather than a hyperspecific audience that's here to play something like morrowind or a pathfinder-based game that require you to keep track of things separately from the UI) has kind of made it difficult for players to:

differentiate between genres, as many RPGs overlap too generously with FPS, and FPS try to gain an audience they aren't interested in catering to by adding RPG elements, to say nothing of something like Assassin's Creed which started as an extremely on-rails strategy-based narrative game and then slowly started adding RPG elements and open world elements...so of course some more hobbyist-minded, casual, or even just those that don't consider genre to be inclusive of game mechanics, players jump from game to game and are hooked in to experiences they don't really like because it's just not wholly what they're looking for. DA fans and ME fans have something in common, whereas AC Odyssey fans and DA fans might clash more strongly with each other's genre. Dedicated AC players might find DA combat boring and overly simple, repetitive, lacking strategy elements. DA fans might find their RP capabilities to be severely limited. These aren't actually FAULTS of either game, but they can be presented as such.

know what to expect at all. AC Odyssey was marketing made a big deal out of the romance system which had never existed in any prior game, out of the RPG elements, out of the ability to choose your gender....which was a big deal within their own community. for DA players approaching the game because they heard RPG elements, there was disappointment: the romance system wasn't robust and had no effect on the story, the main plot line stopped being important once it was over despite the potential presence of your family in your life, and your ability to choose how to shape events wasn't on par with a game built around an enormous branching narrative system.

so, fans of dedicated RPGs might expect more games to acknowledge and include their RP choices, even though these games aren't built to care and are largely built of an audience looking to 100% stealth a level. the addition of RPG elements could be annoying to players who are looking for a min-max combat experience, which is what makes more modern TES games frustrating for the old guard who want the same kind of extremely granular lore-based world building of something like morrowind, which is less approachable to casual players who want to be able to experience a limited story where they know their role and can play it without a master's degree in the daedric language.

a lot of the complaints or the wishlists of people I see in the tags for ESO, especially as TESVI is more and more obviously a total hypothetical at this stage and more fans are seeking out new content despite the intimidating MMO aspect, are wildly unrealistic. a large scale npc affection system isn't feasible: they have the companion system now, but even my wildly unrealistic pipe dream of them adding npcs to the companion system is a little silly (although I maintain that it would ultimately be profitable). it's based, however, on their love for a different genre of game that has the same core concept as this MMO. no, the game can't keep track of my minute character choices or have wildly altered world states from player to player: if you want something like that, then you need a contained singleplayer experience.

so I guess this is just to say that demanding ultimate canonical power as a player is wildly unrealistic, not fun, and mostly the domain of people who have trouble accepting things as real without some authority over the decision, but MCs can absolutely have character arcs even when the game never acknowledges it. that doesn't make it less true: the game just has to avoid doing anything to contradict it, and even then, the player has the power to ignore AND flesh out a lot of stuff. it's why the old fandom was less interested in canonical, creator-acknowledged facts: because nobody needs authority to imagine something.

I'm looking for MxM literate roleplayers (who are okay doing long replies and shorter replies).

I RP challenging things like NSFW content e.g. fights, sex (I can do verse), etc but I can do fluffier things, I just prefer more gritter stuff to avoid loss of inspiration.

What I'd say about your blog: very open, easy to follow when it comes to writing. I know they're assassin creed based off your description, but im getting more DC vibes given all their interactions! Overall I'd say nice to see on the dash and see all the relationships they have

I'm still mainly AC based and all my boys' interactions with DC-based muses are placed in one of my two-and-a-half crossover verses. All the bases for all my muses are Assassin's Creed, but I find the gaps where both verses can meet and play along fascinating.

I also RP mostly on those because well... The AC community's last boom in roleplayers happened with AC Syndicate and since then, is kind of comatosed, with sporadic bloomings and quick withdraws like when AC Origins and AC Odyssey came out. The RPC kind of went downwards and the number of roleplayers became smaller and ever more selective, which left me with close to no options of what to do, I could stay in the toxic enviroment where people would treat me bad for playing original characters (there are exceptions and you all know who you are, I love you all for your time and patience with me, specially those who have been with me for so long you even know my old blog), or try to find other ways to keep my muses alive while being true to their origin and background.

I came in contact to the DC fandom by RPing with a friend who's not around anymore, they played a Talon version of Dick Grayson who they named Nightraven and since I like knowing more about my partners muses and worlds, I ended up starting to branch out.

My friend isn't around anymore, Covid got them, but they introduced me to a world where I made some of the most meaningful friendships I could ever ask for. @nerdybirdboy , @rxsurrxcted and @strategiic were the first ones to really give me a chance around the fandom, they were super nice and kind enough to hear my ramblings, correct me when I got something wrong in my understanding of their muses and universe, then came @lostxndbroken who showed me I didn't need to be afraid of approaching others and ask for RP even though I knew nothing of their muse, @celerem followed with talking to me and assuring me that I wasn't an inconvenience or bother for not going full -DC-verse, that it was fine to want to keep my muses' AC connections, I had lots of fun with @lcbotomy with the concept of how Dio kind of is already so done with everything that he just goes with the flow and likes to see the world explode from times to times, and I didn't RP much with @thecursedhellblazer because I'm way too awkward to ask for it when tumblr keeps eating notifications and so I miss the threads, but I appreciated every little interaction John and Dio had; lately, there's been @chaoticxgays too, who so kindly let me RP with them and I have a blast with our plotting and talking headcanon (and naughty-naughty stuff too xD), @flashgotthis , @speedsterredhead , @whxlmedwing and @yetanotherhubblog all who have been around and I can't wait to have threads with all of them, I love to see how creative they are, even if some of them scare my living soul out of my body with the amount of muses they have (I'm scared by big numbers due to past bad relationships, but I'm always willing to try again and again until it works!).

The tldr; is that I just feel welcome in the little corner of this community I accidentally carved for myself, even if I know I'm an outsider and will never not be one, since I remain faithful to my humble beginnings and muses' backgrounds. That's just how the cookie crumbles on my side, the quality time I spend with those who approach me or allow myself to approach them is all that matters to me, and it's what keeps me around.

I love to RP and chances are, if I'm allowed, I'll never stop. It's a passion of mine and I just change my enviroments and carry on the friendships I made on the way as I move from one fandom to another, which is often a long process, because I don't let myself be taken by hypes.

On that note, I hope I managed to explain how it all happened and why I'm here, in the line between DC and AC ♡ Also, feel free to DM me and stuff. I'm still open to RP with your boos~
