Date me... please

'yes tom ill be down there in like 5 minutes, just let me finish my make up okay' you type into your phone. Tom was BLOWING it up nervous about the whole ordeal,

Ever since you had asked for his number he was texting you ever miniute, of every hour all day long, you found it quite cute tho, for him to be thinking of you that much, it made you kick your feet like a little school girl.

You rush down the stairs, quickly grabbing your heels as you hop to put them on, you look at your self in the hallway mirror, flatting your dress and making sure your lipstick wouldn't smudge you open the door.

Seeing Tom right there was a bit of a shock but it still made you blush, he had his phone in his hand 'he was probably going to text me to see how much longer i would be' you think.

Tom fumbles to put his phone in his dark jean pants, lifting his black and red top, that unknowing matched well with the little dress you had on aswell.

"___, you look.... stunning" he mumbles his eyes tracing over every inch of you outfit, "why thank you tom, you dress up nice as well" you giggle adjusting your handbag.

Tom takes you hand and escorts you to his car, as he hops in the drivers side, starting the car he exsplains about what you two would be doing for the night.

"So what i was thinking was that we go walk around the park and visit the arcarde store, then we can go to restaurant, how does that sound" looking at you before eyes flicking back to the road.

"Arcade store?" you ask "Yeah i mean we could do somthing else it just kinda what i thought in the moment you know" his words faluter as he speaks, his eyes pinned to the road wondering if you thought i was a stupid idea.

"No i think it will be fun, i havent been to an arcade store in years, oooo i wonder if they still have donkey kong, i LOVED that game when i was younger" you rant, you start telling tom all the games you loved as a kid getting side tracked if one had a specific memory you remembered.

By the time your finished your at the park, you can see the neon lights to the store from here, you look down at your outfit now feeling like you dressed up a bit much for an arcade store.

"Hey ___ its kinda chilly do ya want my jacket" Tom asks seeing you look at the outfit your wearing, "hmm oh yeah please tom, thank you" you mutter as you shrug it on.

As you two walk to enjoy the evening light and the nice cool breeze washing over your selfs, you stop and take a small amount of time to stop and watch the family of swans wading through the water.

Once getting to the arcade store after you dared tom to a game of how could get there faster tom only winning because you had a hard time running with heels on, but that didnt stop tom from bragging for the next 5 minutes.

The first game you visited was... donkey Kong of course after you two had got the pass you practically DRAGGED him over there holding on to his hand, playing a few rounds then moving to a game tom wanted to play, then switching back and fourth between games you or him wanted to play.

Walking back to the car goodies in hand you tried to stuff the majortiy of what you one in you handbag but that didn't really hold much, tom had decided to just use his top as a bag and place all his goodies inside, shortly followed by you placing your goods with his, tom held the rest of his top close to him so they didnt fall out.

Tom chucked all the treats onto the dash before speeding off to the restaurant, cracking jokes, and eating a few of the lollies you won.

Once arriving tom opens your door, holding it like you were some queen or something, before placing your hand in his walking to the big glass double doors.

You to get escorted to your reserved table and get handed these wood print menus with 4 different panels showing you the drinks, the food and the deserts, the majority of them had super fancy names that you and tom tried to pronounce to each other but failed miserably.

While waiting for you food to arrive you and tom were given your chosen drink of coke in a nice tall cold glass with a fancy little straw with a lemon on the side, tom decided to challenge you with a contest of who could stay the most calm while eating the slice of lemon.

Half way through your little contest you food had arrived, they had seen you and tom trying to keep your composure then freeze and turn slowly to face the poor waiter who had both of your food in hand.

Once she left you two busted out laughing, "The look on the poor ladys face ahahha" tom chuckles wiping a fake tear from his eye "i know that was so stupid tom" you giggle before taking your first bite of food.

When you both had finished tom went up to pay talking bout how he has to because hes just manly like that, but stumbling when his pants got caught on his shoe making him trip a bit.

You walk to the car with tom he was showing you how many of the free mints he got while paying he seemed very proud of this saying how you could have to but not anymore because you 'didnt help get this'.

You two sit in the car remisising about the night laughing at the race you didnt win, tom getting mad saying the arcade game scammed him and how he wanted hi money back, the face on the lady when she saw your little competition at dinner and when you guys had so much lollies they were dropping out all over the place.

The drive back to your home was calm, no awkwardness around just tom and you enjoying eachothers company, his hand placed on your inner thigh only moving when he has to change gears but putting his hand back before the area could even get cold again.

Toms car pulls up to your home opening your door just like he did at the restaurant walking you to your door. "Oh wait i forgot somthing" he says running back to his car, grabbing somthing beofre running back to you.

"Here, i remember you saying how these were you favorite flower, so i got some for you, i didnt give them to you before cause i forgot" he laughs running the back of his neck before holding them out for you.

"Wow tom these are beautiful im so glad you remembered i liked these" you say smelling the sweetness waft off the flower "i had a really great night tonight tom" you whisper you eyes flicking from his brown eyes to his pierced lip.

Tom caught on knowing what you wanted as well he whispers back to you "I had a great night aswell ___ i hope to do this again" taking his hand out holding you jawline and slowing bringing you in for a kiss.

You felt as if you were in a movie the porch light shining down on you, tom hand on your jaw, you and around his neck, it made you feel amazing like you were on cloud-9.

Your lips separating and you pull in air to your lungs you look at tom again before wishing him a goodnight kissing his cheek and closing the door softly behind your self.

Tom looks back at where you were standing just progressing the fact you kissed his back, he walks back to his car he looks at the lollies on the dash eating one of the blue ones a small smile on his lips,

ready to spill all of this to the band when he gets back he cant wait for you next date.

Me too man. But my mental and physical health is kind'a tanking atm. I just don't have the energy to pick up a passion project of that scale right now..

Not quite sure what you're asking.. so I'll just answer in multiple ways!

My favorite movies of all time are Pixars cars 1 and 3. I cannot watch either without crying 😭 they are my absolute favorites and I hold them very close to my soul 💖

Still to this day, even after all this time, Gravity Falls is my top favorite show. Despite all the cringe I made for it back in the day- it still holds up as my most beloved show I've ever drawn about.

As for fandom, like the people? I thiiiink the FNAF fandom was my favorite to interact with..? I remember a lot of interaction with the fans in general, which meant a lot to me :)

Bibi and Cici are just odd little critters XD though Bibi is very cat-like in nature and Cici is based on a mouse :0

I'm not sure how they feel about being dolls. I'd assume they don't really mind it! XD

She is indeed a kid, but that's becuase all I had to go off of was her info picture and fanart I saw of her. For some reason a lot of art I saw of Sally depicted her as this total gremlin character that's always getting into trouble.

So I thought hey! Why not make it so she fell to "Earth" as a little tot and was raised by Poppy? In present day she could be like 13-15 and her chaotic energy would make sense and be fun to mess with!

Though after watching GTlive do a vid on the Halloween update, I realize that I wrote her personality completely wrong. Sooo I miiight need to rework her entire story and character- whoops! <XDD

Considering Sally is gonna need some restructuring, I'm not sure where Poppy stands atm-- <:DD

AAAA Thank you!! :DD I've very glad you like them! :D And I'm not sure how a meeting with the pirates and cowboys would go.. its funny though becuase a lot of Canned Tuna's design was copied from Canned Beans cookie. Even the name! So if they ever met maybe they'd have a stand off XDD

I haven't thought much about how the Captain would react.. maybe the Vegimals are something he just cant wrap his head around and chooses not to talk about it XDD

I think Poppy Playtime it pretty neat! Though I haven't seen a playthrough of chapter 3 yet so I haven't formed an opinion on the smiling critters. :0 Other than their smiles are WAY too big and creepy XDDD

AAAA I'm so glad you're interested in him! Uuuunfortunately,, looking back it seems the only artwork I have of Melvin is just a bunch of strange angst for no good reason-

So I'm afraid I don't really have any artwork to share,, and most of the story has already been told.. but this ask makes me want to come back to Melvin sometime! Maybe expand on his story more, or just draw him again in general!

Can I request a Donkey Kong x Socially anxious human(just reader who came with Mario and Luigi……your choice) Female! Reader? When I say “socially anxious”, I mean as in doesn’t talk alot and often gets nervous around others yet is still pretty stand-offish and seems intimidating despite the small size(but is actually not……just anxiety) but also has difficulty opening up. I also thought it would be a love at first sight thing(like Mario and Peach in the movie) as well as DK being all protective and maybe he gets jealous at one point…..

It can be a whole imagine, headcanon, multi-part story……..imma leave that up to you.😉

Donkey Kong x Socially anxious reader

I’m gonna make you Mario and Luigis younger sister I hope thats okay!!

You and Dk had kind of a rocky start when you first met.

He was just so…out there.

And you were not.

So there were definitely a lot of walls to break before you guys even developed a friendship.

You met at the arena when mario was going to fight in order to win an alliance with the Kong army.

You were sitting up on the balcony with Cranky Kong and peach.

Dk hadn’t even noticed you at first.

He was too busy trying to gain his dad’s attention while showing off his muscle.

Then his eyes shifted in your direction.

And when he saw you he was just struck by your beauty.

“Hey…Hey whats your name?”

You looked around to see who he could be talking to before it hit you like a ton of bricks that he was talking to you.

“I’m (Y/n.)” You responded quietly.

He smiled at you and winked before turning his attention back to his brother.

He was here to fight after all.

After that event it kind of felt like Dk followed you everywhere.

And you didn’t mind, you were just wondering why he had chosen you.

“I’m sorry but is there a reason you’re following me?” You questioned while standing on the porch of the hut

“You’re just really pretty.” He said without hesitation

Did he even know what he was saying?!

Had he by any chance mistaken you for someone else? Never has anyone outside of your family called you pretty before.

In fact, most people considered you intimidating.

You just chose not to respond to his complement because you honestly didn’t know what to say, but that didn’t seem to stop him from keeping his mouth closed.

You didn’t even talk to him much, he did all the talking and you sat back to listen to him.

I mean everyone needed a friend who could listen to them right?

During the events of helping Peach take down Bowser, Dk stayed right by your side.

Seriously he never left once, he was always there.

It was almost like he was a lost puppy.

Mario picked up on what this “smash monkey” was trying to do and he really wasn’t a fan of it.

And the fact you seemed perfectly fine with it bothered him even more.

So whenever Mario would try to separate the two of you and keep you close to him, Dk just wouldn’t have it.

He would snatch you back from your brother and keep you next to him, where you belonged.

You really didn’t like it when they fought over you, but you understood Dk was probably just happy to have a human friend so you didn’t mind.

It was a completely different story from his perspective.

He just had a really really big crush on you.

He just didn’t understand how could a girl as beautiful as you be related to someone as annoying as Mario.

Even though you didn’t talk much, he still loved being around you.

But sometimes it did worry him a bit.

Did you secretly hate him? Were you in love with someone else? All these thoughts ran through his head so finally he decided to ask you about it.

So when you and Dk got swallowed by the giant eel after the big battle at rainbow road, he figured this would be the time to ask.

“Do you hate me?” He asked, breaking the silence.

You looked up at him and raised a brow.

“No.” You responded before looking back down at your feet.

Then why do you never talk to me? Did I do something to upset you?”

You sighed and shook your head.

“No you didn’t…It’s an issue on my part.”

His face contorted from one of worry to one of confusion, He didn’t understand what you mean’t.

“I’m just not good with other people. It’s not that I don’t like you, i’m just nervous around everyone.”

He didn’t understand how you felt, but he didn’t need to understand to help you.

He grabbed your hands in his very large ones and squeezed them reassuringly.

“You never have to be nervous around me.”

You blushed as he stared at you with those big eyes you just couldn’t bring yourself to turn away from.

You know…since we might die in here, I’ve got something I wanna tell you.”

You look at him with a curious expression, wondering what he’s going to say.

“I really like you.” He confesses.

“Huh-?”

You really were not expecting that.

You didn’t know what to expect from him but it definitely was not a love confession.

“I just think you’re really pretty and nice and cool and I just really like you.” He continued

Your blush only grew darker and darker as he continued with his confession to you.

“It’s okay if you don’t feel the same way, I get it.”

You sat in your own thoughts for a second, contemplating on what you should say next.

You liked him too but you have never been a romantic person so you really didn’t know what to say right now.

He anxiously looked at you, obviously waiting on your response

You couldn’t keep him waiting forever so it was now or never.

“I like you too but I- I’m kind of scared of getting in a relationship.”

“Scared?”

“Yes I’m scared. It’s a lot of commitment, trust, and it just sounds so scary to be in love with someone.”

He wasn’t sure on how to comfort you, this was obviously a personal issue that he stumbled into by accident.

“Whatever you decide I hope you know I’ll always protect you.”

You look up at him with glossy eyes and nod, wiping away any tears that had stained your cheeks.

“Thank you, but how about we continue this conversation when we get out of here.” You said remembering that you were in an eels stomach.

After escaping the eels stomach on a barrel from Dk’s kart, you two made your way to go crash Bowsers wedding.

Fighting your way through the koopas like badass couples do(you’re not a couple yet but you act like one)

You and Dk came in as the fight was still at its peak, so you helped out by fighting some koopa troopers who just so happened to be in the way.

The fight at the Mushroom kingdom looked like it was about over, You and Mario found Luigi and had your moment as you were reunited, the same went for Dk and his dad.

Everything was fine until Bowser released that giant bullet onto Peaches castle.

Mario stepped in and led it away into one of the pipes which seemed like a smart plan at first, but it ended sucking all of you in with it.

You all landed in Brooklyn and Dk made sure to keep you in the backlines.

The two of you had been through so much together, he didn’t wanna risk loosing you now.

But when Dk has his little brawl with Bowser it wasn’t looking too good for him.

Bowser had him up in a chokehold and was getting ready to punch the life out of him.

You needed to help but you didn’t have anything on you so you grabbed a brick from one of the buildings that had been destroyed and threw it at bowsers head.

He dropped Dk and slowly turned his head towards you.

He huffed and angrily ran in your direction but before he could get to you Dk pushed him out of the way.

“(Y/n) go get the star!” Dk yelled and nodded over to the star.

You understood and ran as fast as you could over towards the star but sadly Dk wasn’t able to hold Bowser off forever and Bowser came after you once again.

He caught up to you and grabbed you by the collar, throwing you back with intense strength.

Dk caught you in his strong arms and didn’t let you go.

He wouldn’t let you go. He couldn’t let that crazy turtle freak hurt you again.

“You’re okay I got you.” He comforted as he stroked your hair with his finger.

You clung onto his big fuzzy arm, shaking violently as a few tears escaped your eyes from the fear you just felt.

The rest of the fight you and Dk sat back to let Mario handle it since you had done all you could do by that point.

The conclusion to the battle was sweet, Bowser was defeated and everyone was happy.

You decided that you didn’t want to stay in Brooklyn anymore, Instead you wanted to go back to the Jungle Kingdom with Dk.

Your brothers chose to stay in the Mushroom Kingdom meaning they were always close, which you were happy about.

Dk and you got together(obviously) and ended up having a pretty successful relationship.

Sure it took a lot of effort to get to where you are now, but you’re so happy you put forth that effort.

Dk is pretty happy you got together because he was really wondering if that crush would ever go away.

El x Male Reader x Max Mayfield

Request - Can you write El x Male Reader x Max?

Max and El took you to the skating rink. They are going to teach you how to skate, they had to drag you there. You have the skates on and you are hesitating to go into the rink.

“I don’t know about this,” You said.

“It will be fun, Y/n. Don't be scared” El said.

“I’m not scared,” You said.

“Yes, you are” Max giggled.

“Not funny,” You said.

Max grabbed your hand and she kinda drags you into the rink. You hold both of her hands and you are trying to find your balance. Now, El grabs your hand and you don't let go of their hands.

They are girlfriends and no one knows about the relationship. You wanted to tell the guys but you promised not to tell for now. You, Max, and El like sneaking around to be together. You know if people found out they won't understand. But you have been dating them for three months so far.

“Eventually, we have to let go of your hand,” Max said.

“No!” You yelled.

They go a little fast and you try to slow down. You fell down they almost fell but didn't fall. They did let go of your hand

“Are you okay?” El asked.

“My butt hurts,” You said.

“It was funny when you fell down” Max smiled.

“Whatever,” You said.

They helped you stand up. They start to show you how to find your balance. After a while, they won't hold your hand and you try to skate on your own. But you fell down again, then you gave up and you struggled to get out of the skating rink.

“It’s cute when he is annoyed,” Max said.

“Yeah. I don't think he would want to skate again” El said.

“This was his last day,” Max said.

Later, you go with them to Surfer Boy Pizza shop. El tried to convince to try pineapple on pizza and you said no. But Max did like it and she ate another slice.

You went to El’s house to watch movies in the living room. During the movie, you and El started making out and you moved closer to her. Then her dad Hopper walked in

“You are supposed to watch the movie not make out,” Hopper said.

You moved away from your girlfriend.

“H-hi Mister Hopper,” You said.

He sits between you and El. He knows that you are dating El but doesn't know about Max.

“Are you going to watch the movie with us?” El asked.

“Yes, I like this movie” Hopper smiled.

You are on an ice cream date with Max and Steve did give you a discount. You and Max went to sit somewhere else to eat the ice cream and talk. You and

“Maybe we should go to the arcade later,” Max said.

“Sure. Dustin is trying to beat my high score in Donkey Kong” You smiled.

“He has been playing that game every day. So, you better be ready” Max giggled.

“Oh, I'm ready” You giggled.

You moved closer and kissed Max on the lips. But Hopper and Joy are in the mall, they saw you kiss Max.

“I’m going to kill him!” Hopper said.

“What?” Joy asked.

“Y/n, he is dating El now I see him kissing Max. Oh, he is dead!” Hopper angrily said.

“Hopper!” Joy yelled.

Hopper charged towards you and grabbed you by your shirt. You are feeling terrified and Joy is trying to make him stop.

“You are cheating on El. And you think I wouldn't find out!?” Hopper yelled.

“I-I can explain l!” You yelled.

Joy made him let go of you and he is still angry. You and Max start to walk away.

You are home and the house phone starts to ring. You picked up the phone and it's El and she knows what happened.

“Your dad thinks I'm cheating on you,” You said.

“He told me. I think we should tell him” El said.

“I don't know. Your dad will kill me because he would think it was my idea” You said.

It was Max and El’s idea when they confessed their feelings to you.

“I told Max about it and she thinks we should tell him,” El said.

“I think I won't go to your house for a while, because he is really scary when he is super angry,” You said.

El couldn't help to giggle but you didn't giggle. You and El start to talk about something else for a little while.

Thoughts on Pauline? I know she’s not in the Mario vs Donkey Kong remake but in the spirit of those games I just wanted to ask

I'm neutral on Pauling overall, as a kid I liked her alot more over Rosalina. I was soo hyped when she appeared in odyssey, although it had me reevaluating the lore and my life. LIKE SERIOUSLY-

Pauling is the mayor of New Donk City but does that mean that the og lore doesn't exist or is Donk City = New York?? If so, Does the pipe that Mario and Luigi took doesn't exist anymore? I decided not to think about it for a looooong time, BUT BRIGHT SIDE! I have thought of a theory/headcanon that solves EVERYTHING! I just don't know if I should tell you all yet.

I know Im a lazy bear when I don't have the right motivation to do something, which is why alot of stuff are just in my bucket list but I have a Mario Galaxy comic idea that helps explain my theory more naturally and help explain my overall hcs for my Mario universe.

Anyway something that always got at me as a kid was when people said the Mario is cheating on Peach with Pauling. I was deep in the Mario shipping trenches, but in order to please my inner demons I have the now headcanon that they're bitter exes.

Neither of them are bad, just bad for each other. It's just consistent arguing and clapbacks till Luigi got tired of sleepless nights so he begged Mario to finally cut it off. Now the used to be high school sweetheart just passively aggressively insult each other on the tennis court. But hey I guess thats no different to how Mario acts with any competition.

Peach and Pauling are cool with each other but Pauling just doesn't understand why a Princess would lower her standards for someone like Mario. Although Peach explains she just doesn't understand her decision and thinks Peach should have gone with the nicer brother.

Peach would like to talk or have tea time with Pauling if only she wasn't flustered and intimidated by this tall lady.

Ramona:(Notices all her teas and what not are on the counter) Scott sweetie.. why Scott: (Obliviously playing Donkey Kong 64 in the living room) Look I know it's not a great game but it has the DK Rap Ramona, the DK Rap. Imagine with me, Mario, toad, donkey Kong, and Luigi are all in some sort of mission

For some reason,DK and Luigi are the ones who are paired up together

Mario at first complains and doesn’t agree with it but kings orders are orders so Mario Just kind of just hast to deal with it.

Mario tells DK to watch his baby bro with his life and that if anything happens to him he will wax all the hair off of his body. (DK does wince at the idea of that but doesn’t show it)

DK is just like” yeah yeah don’t get your mustache in a twist you tomato I won’t let anything happen to your brother”

DK never really noticed how accident prone Luigi is until he had to spend some quality time with him and now that he does he doesn’t understand how the little green man is still alive

DK: LUIGI?!?! WTF HOW DID YOU GET UP THERE

When they finally regroup after their mission is complete , Mario asks where Luigi is only to see him peek over donkey Kong’s head

Donkey Kong ends up having a conversation with Mario and as I mean conversation I mean more of like another chance of teasing in where DK asks, “how Has someone like you kept Luigi alive for so long”

Mario gives a deadpan face saying “give me back my brother already”

Mario asked Luigi how it was and Luigi says that it was fine and It was a piece of cake finding what they were looking for or doing what they were set out to do only for donkey Kong to immediately interrupt that to talk about all the trouble Luigi’s gotten into.

Mario is not surprise in the slightest because he knows his brother and if anything Mario’s a little happy that DK had such a crazy time with luigi.

Maybe now they’ll realize that it’s a bad idea to separate Luigi and Mario

Princess peach has invited you to a meeting with her, the Mario brothers and the prince of king kingdom. The other have never heard of the existence of your kingdom not even donkey Kong but once you step in they are shocked to see a queen.

Summary: You're and Donkey Kongs kingdom are allies, and to keep it going, your parents have set you both up on a date to keep the alliance strong.

"Hun, you're going out this weekend."

"Mom, I don't think the parent is the one that is supposed to tell the child to go out."

She sighs, "No, I mean you're going out with Cranky Kongs son, Donkey Kong, this alliance we have needs to stick."

"Mom, you've got to be kidding."

"I'm not, now please clean your room, it's a mess."

You sigh as she shuts the door behind her. You skim around your room, deciding to just pick up the dirty clothes you have scattered around your room.

You were going to hate this weekend, not that you hated the Kongs, but you didn't want your parents to be using you for their alliance. They just wanted a stronger army.

And to be even more whiney you didn't know what you were going to wear. You were told nothing, it's not like it needed to work out anyways.

The two of you were going to have to be together at some point in your lives. It's not like you hated him, he was a nice guy, he was just very into people loving him and ate up every bit of attention he received.

You sat Infront of your mirror, messing around with your hair and fixing the collar of your shirt.

"Hun, are you ready yet? We need to get going."

You sigh, "Yes, mom." You call from your room.

You join your parents in the car, staring out the window. You honestly didn't know how to feel about all of this, you weren't really looking for a relationship. You and your parents were on your way to the Kongs kingdom, you were guessing that they all wanted to talk before you and Donkey Kong were sent away.

Once pulled up to the kingdom you were all drove in by guards. This is too much, why are they going all these lengths for the alliance, why not just have you guys hang out for a while, kind of like childhood friends or something.

"Welcome!" Kranky Kong yelled, greeting all of you, his son sulking beside you.

DK took a glance up for a second and got a glimpse of you, once he did, he picked up he posture and stopped acting like a child.

You noticed this, maybe this wouldn't be so bad, you already had him wrapped around your finger from the looks of it. You smirked, sending a small wave his way.

You both walk down a small path along the water near his kingdom,

"So, what's it like? Living here I mean." You ask, trying to start up a conversation.

"It's not terrible," He scoffs, "I'm pretty adored."

You can tell he's trying really hard to act big and bad and it's not really working, you raise your eyebrows and smile in response, looking away from him and towards the water.

He notices you losing interest, "But it's not like a care that much! They only like me so much because of things that my dad makes me do!" He's trying to cover himself up now.

You sensed a tiny bit of fatherly issues on him, you bring your gaze back to him.

"Do you like doing those things?"

DK shrugs, "It's whatever."

"When we rule, we can do whatever you want." You reassure him, he looks over at you, raising his eyebrows with a glow in his eyes.

You smiled at him. He wasn't that bad.

A fellow Donkey Kong lover…. I’m sorry but he was just so cute in this movie, even if he was voiced by Seth Rogan. Lots of shenanigans from all the characters in this piece, hope that’s ok!

Timid. Anxious. Cautious. Shy. Introverted. These were all words that could describe you. You weren’t unfriendly, but you did tend to keep your distance from people, with the exception of the people you were closest to. In fact, you were the opposite of the person you had a crush on. Maybe that was what had attracted you to him in the first place.

You were a little embarrassed to admit that you had feelings for Donkey Kong, the prince of the Kong Kingdom. At first you hadn’t liked him; he had been boisterous and beat up your good friend Mario. But as you got to know him, he grew on you. During the final battle against Bowser, he had protected you, Peach, and Toad, and perhaps that was when you first started falling for him. He was strong, outgoing, and funny, but he was also Donkey Kong, and you were…well, you. A human who had decided to stay in a magical world.

The two of you were incompatible, you thought, but that didn’t stop you from admiring him from afar. You were friends, but you kept him at arm’s length, which was somewhat difficult to do as he wanted to spend time with his friends a lot. You thought you did a good job at hiding how you felt, but that delusion was quickly shattered when you were having dinner at Mario and Luigi’s place in the Mushroom Kingdom one night.

Peach and you were sitting at the dinner table, waiting as Mario, Luigi, and Toad prepped some Italian food Peach had never had before, and the princess was giving you a sly look from across the table.

“What?” you asked, tugging at the collar of your shirt nervously.

“So,” she started. “How are things at the Kong Kingdom?”

“Um…I think you would know more about that than me.”

“You’re the one who’s over there all the time.”

“I’m not there that often…”

Peach grinned. “When you’re not here, you’re there.”

“What are you getting at?” you asked crankily.

“I’m just wondering how things are going with a certain prince,” Peach sang.

“Oh my god.” You felt your face heat up. “There is nothing going on.”

“Uh-huh. Right.”

Toad popped his head out of the kitchen. “Are you guys talking about what I think you’re talking about?”

“What?” you asked at the same time Peach replied “Yes.”

“What are they talking about?” You heard Mario ask in the background.

“[Name] has a crush on Donkey Kong!” Toad shouted back into the kitchen.

“They WHAT?!”

You buried your face in your hands and wished the floor would swallow you up.

“I think it’s sweet,” Luigi said as he set the table.

“I do too,” Toad agreed.

“Me too!” Peach giggled at your embarrassment.

“Well, I think they could do way better,” Mario said angrily as he entered the dining room, balancing a large plate of pasta.

“Can we please change the subject?” you groaned.

“I dunno, can you please do something about your feelings instead of pining all day, every day?” Peach asked.

“I do not -,” you started, but then realized that yes, you do, indeed, pine. “I don’t do it all day, every day.”

After a humiliating dinner discussing your potential love life, you reflected on whether or not your feelings for Donkey Kong were that obvious. You tried really hard to seem cool, calm, and collected when with him but apparently everybody except Mario saw through you. It made you wonder if DK was aware as well… If he was, he never said anything, and that meant he didn’t return your feelings. The thought hurt, but you were used to being sidelined. You decided you wouldn’t act on your feelings if that was the case.

So imagine your surprise when the prince of Kong Kingdom, who almost never left unless someone fetched him first, showed up the next day at your home in the Mushroom Kingdom. He loomed over the doorway, leaning against the frame and looking very suave. You fought the heat threatening to creep into your cheeks.

“Hey,” DK said as you stared up at him with wide eyes.

“Um, hey.” You snapped yourself out of your stupor and stepped forward. The ape moved out of the way so you could step outside, as there was no way he would fit through your door. “What’s up?”

“The princess said you wanted to see me.”

You were going to kill Peach. Later.

A strained smile spread across your lips. “I think she must’ve been mistaken.” DK’s face fell and you scrambled to correct yourself. “I mean, if I needed something I would’ve just come over, like usual.”

DK shrugged. “I dunno, it might be fun to do something just by ourselves, without Mario, or Diddy, or anybody else tagging along.”

You tilted your head. “I always thought the more the merrier. But I suppose…it’s alright.”

“Great, but you’ll have to tell me what humans usually do for dates.”

“I’m sorry?” You froze.

DK smirked. “Date. We’re going on a date.”

You stuttered, absolutely flustered, and found nothing coherent was coming out of your mouth.

“Aww, your cheeks are so dark.” He stroked your face with his huge thumb and you nearly had a stroke.

“Wait, wait, wait, did you say a date? A date? Wh-what gave you that idea –“ “Look,” he sighed. “I know you have feelings for me, it’s obvious. You’re always blushing so hard. But you’re also always avoiding being alone with me. I was hoping that you would eventually just tell me you like me but…” He awkwardly scratched the back of his head. “Princess Peach said you might never and if I didn’t do something I would miss out. And I didn’t want to miss out on you.”

“You mean…you like me too?” you asked, voice cracking.

“Yes. I’m sorry, I should’ve said something sooner.” Your knees felt weak and buckled. DK caught you, positioning his arm behind you to support your smaller frame.

“I-I don’t know what –“

“Just say you love me and give me a kiss,” he grinned and leaned down, but you threw your hands up in front of your face.

“I can’t!! It’s too soon!! My heart just can’t handle much more today!”

Leviathan x reader

~You take Levi to a human world arcade, where he is ready to show off his skills.

*This was kinda hard to finish since this was like mid-mental breakdown. But I got this done and I am so proud of myself for doing it.

The summer heat of the human world is a welcome sensation on your skin as you drag a slightly sweaty Avatar of Envy down the sidewalk. As a notorious shut-in, Levi doesn't do well in the sun, and although you had only stepped out of the portal Barbatos had prepared for the two of you two blocks ago, he is already out of breath.

Suddenly, the Demon digs his feet into the pavement, preventing the two of you from moving forward. "MC?" pants, trying and failing to hide his exhaustion 'A-are we almost there?"

You see the familiar half-lit neon sign just a few doors away, "We are so close Levi. I promise it will be nice and cool inside; we can get something to drink and enjoy the Air conditioning."

"Air Conditioning," he repeats in an eager whisper and picks his head up with newfound strength. "Then what are we waiting for? Let's get to the arcade."

His orange and purple eyes are sparkling with determination as you walk the rest of the way to the old-school arcade, where you promised to show him all your favorite classic machines. The red-bricked building looks just the same as before you were magically whisked away to the Devildom those many months ago; the only difference on the outside is a touch-up of fire engine red paint on the double wooden doors.

Pulling open the faded brass door handles, you are met with a strong gust of air conditioning. This second wind hugs you like an old friend as you walk towards the mantra of beeps and boops the retro arcade machines are playing.

"What do you think?" you ask, playfully bumping into Levi's shoulder. "Does this place meet your expectations?"

"Uhh yeah," he exclaims, looking at the rows and rows of games. "This place is so cool Mc. It looks like the arcade in the manga, 'Help! I've been sucked into a game, and the Gorilla King kidnapped me instead of the Princess.'"

How he manages to say such a long title in one breath never ceases to amaze you. But the title gives you a pretty good idea of what game he should try first.

"How about we start with Donkey Kong?" you laugh, reaching into the pocket of your shorts and pulling out a large sandwich bag full of tokens. You toy with the zipper and take out two, one for him and one for you. "Each machine in here only needs one credit, so I think we will be set to play all day without having to get more."

He carefully takes the coin from your hand but doesn't put it into the slot right away. "A-actually you should play first, Mc," he mumbles shyly, stepping back from the temptations on the screen.

"I'll do my best, but I haven't played this in a while," you say, slipping your own token into the slot. "The theme song blares from the old yet well-maintained speakers as the text 'L E V E L 1' flashes across the screen.

You grab hold of the red plastic joystick and place your other hand just over the jump button. Mario's little legs manage to leap over barrel after barrel as he makes his little pixelated self up the ramps. You may be rusty, but muscle memory is working well for you. Within two minutes, you make it to the top of the platform without losing any of your lives. You look to Levi with a smile of victory.

"You're the GOAT Mc," he cheers, leaning over your shoulder to look at the screen, watching in fascination as Donkey Kong swipes the Princess over his shoulder and carries her further up the tower for you to chase.

"I don't remember this part," you murmur, trying to familiarize yourself with the next level. As you move, sentient little fireballs that begin to chase after you. Moving your joystick, you try to gain enough speed to jump over the flames, only to set yourself on fire.

Apparently, you can't jump over them like the barrels from the last level.

Oh shoot," you hiss, watching as Mario falls to the ground and a little halo appears above his head before the screen resets.

"You're good; you still have two lives left." he encourages with clenched fists.

"We got this," you say brightly, moving the joystick once more. You only manage to make it a few steps before accidentally running into the little fireball that was chilling on the blue ladder above you, making you lose yet another life. "No, no, we're good." You sigh, gritting your teeth. You are brought to the bottom of the ladder, and you manage to avoid the fireballs as you try to collect the support blocks that are holding up the structure.

"Keep going Mc; now's the time to take down the Boss," he says, watching as you remove the fifth support on the gorilla's platform. "Just as you are about to cross over to the last one, you fall down the gap you had created and lose your final life.

"That was fun, how about you give it a try." you suggest, "Do you still have the token I gave you?"

"But, you were so close." Levi cries, taking the loss much harder than you are. "Wait, what are those?" he points to the list of high scores that flash on your screen once the 'Game Over' screen fades away with curiosity.

"Those are the machine's high scores." You explain, "If you do well, you can put your name on the board for everyone to see."

"So these are my rivals." he breathes, his hand twitching in anticipation as he takes his token and slides it into the machine.

As the screen once again comes to life, you feel a shift in the air. A competitive energy radiates off of Leviathan as he grips the joystick. Although he has only seen you do the basics, he expertly navigates the first stage, leaping over barrels and climbing ladders without a hint of hesitation.

With the first half of the level cleared you are brought to the next phase, where you met your demise only minutes earlier. But Levi looks at the screen as if it is nothing more than a challenge and jumps in fearlessly, collecting vintage landlines, parasols, and support beams until the platform disappears.

With the first level being cleared in the blink of an eye, you realize that the two of you will definitely be here for a while.

"You're really good at this," You say, placing a hand on his shoulder. You notice how he seems to lean into your touch, and he spares you a glance as the screen transitions to the start of Level Two.

"Could you stay there?" he asks with a shaky voice. The screen in front of him does little to hide the glow on his face. If he wasn't holding on to the joystick, you know he would try to hide his blushing cheeks with his hands. "You might be my good luck charm or whatever normies say."

You only laugh and give his shoulder a reassuring squeeze. "I can do that. I promise I won't leave your side."

"T-thank you Mc." he murmurs softly, "I want to get that high score."

The thing with the Donkey Kong arcade game is that each level gets longer, faster, and more challenging. You have never even seen what lies beyond the end of level two, so this is all new territory for the both of you.

But Levi never falters, staring at the screen with amber eyes filled with determination. Even with a few strands of his purple hair covering his face, he seems comfortable. You are so focused on watching his features that you don't realize that he has successfully cleared level two just as easily as the first.

And what neither of you realize is that a small crowd of arcade onlookers are watching your screen from behind you.

The barrels in level three zoom across the screen at an uncomfortably fast pace, but Levi just jumps over them as if they were nothing. A part of you wonders if his skills are just a result of his inhuman reflexes, but after seeing how winded the Otaku got walking down the street to the arcade, you push that through from your head.

"Woah, is that guy even human?" one of the onlookers gasps as Levi clears level 3 without breaking a sweat. "I've never seen anyone get this far without taking any damage." You turn around to see that quite a large group of about twenty-five to thirty people are watching your screen in fascination.

The shy Demon's breath hitches; he doesn't usually play games in front of a live crowd, but you stop him from turning around and seeing just how large the crowd is.

"You got this Levi. Don't worry about them; they are just watching you."

"Live?" he murmurs with wide eyes. Despite his efforts to hide it, he trembles slightly. "I'm a shut-in for a reason; all this attention makes my stomach feel like it's tying itself in knots."

"Just think of it as a live stream." you encourage brightly. "If you focus on the game, you won't be able to see them at all."

"An IRL livestream?" he repeats, a small smile appearing on his face. "I can work with that."

"I knew you could." You grin, giving him a little peck on the cheek for good luck. He lets go of the joystick briefly to touch his cheek, trying to savor the sweet sensation of your lips.

"Look out!" One of the onlookers shouts as a barrel comes towards the in-game avatar. The next level had started.

Levi's hands fly back to the machine and he avoids the obstacle in the nick of time. "Oh, my Diavolo, that was close." He mumbles just loud enough for you to hear. He turns his attention fully back to the screen and starts running up the ramp.

"Too close," you sigh as the crowd behind him only seems to grow in number and tenacity as they react to every little movement on the screen. The idea of flustering him with something as simple as a peck on the cheek is flattering beyond words, and you smile devilishly, planning to use this little method to distract him during your game nights.

"He's almost there." someone yells as Levi reaches the final platform. The Fireballs flicker menacingly, creeping across the screen, but they are no match for Levi's inhuman gaming reflexes. He climbs, collects, and leaps as if he were the one inside the game fighting for his life, holding the joystick as if it were his lifeline.

Aside from the machine, not a sound can be heard in the bustling arcade as everyone watches Levi grab the last support beam.

DK crashes to the ground, and the crowd erupts in cheers. Levi shyly looks over his shoulder to see just how many humans were cheering him on. He looks nervous, but this is one of the first times the Avatar of Envy has been so openly praised in a public setting. For once, he doesn't have to worry about not being as strong as Beel, as flashy as Mammon, or as put-together and OP as Lucifer. Today, he gets to be Leviathan, and people like him for it.

It puts a real smile on his face, even as the crowd thins and the arcade populace goes to play games of their own.

"Levi, look, you got the high score on the machine," you exclaim, pointing at the blinking Number One spot on the machine. Your interjection was a welcome, distracting him from thinking any more about his perceived shortcomings or petty comparisons.

The other scores look so much smaller than his, and a proud smile appears on the Demon's face as he types in the first three letters of his name.

L.E.V

"Should I start calling you Lev now?" you tease watching the cute way his brow furrows as he tries to figure out what nickname he should put instead.

He turns to look at you, accidentally pressing the submit button in the process. "No, I didn't mean to do that. Why am I so embarrassing?" he puts his head in his hands and stares at the score sheet.

Reaching into your bag, you pull out another token for him, "Now you'll just have to beat your own high score."

Bowser walked around his lonely halls growling at his mixed feelings stopping at the door that had Luigi and Peach inside listening to their conversations "I'm sorry but I still can't get over that you stood up to Bowser of all people" Peach said as Luigi sighs softly "yeah but I for some reason I feel bad now" he said and Bowser's attitude changes surprised by these words even Peach was surprised "what do you mean he was going to drop you in lava!" Luigi jumped looking down "I know, I know but I mean did anyone ever think why the big guy is so mad or mean?" He asked looking at Peach, she thought about it but couldn't think of anything Luigi remembered how he and Bowser first met rubbing the bottom of his chin his cheeks turning red...wait.....oh no was he falling for the Koopa king!? Is that even allowed he didn't even notice Bowser coming in the room scaring Peach she even blocked Luigi from him getting worried but Bowser huffed getting the green human's attention and scaring him as well "We can do this the easy way or the hard way greenie" Luigi put Peachs arm down looking at her "it's ok" he said slowly standing up staring into Bowser's eyes noticing his eyes were calm and patience Bowser opened the door for Luigi staring right back into his eyes before looking at Peach "sorry for taking your new friend princess" he said bowing Peach only nods as they both left the room Peach suddenly heard a knock on the window seeing Mario and Donkey Kong quickly helping them inside Mario was in a bear looking suit panting heavily "I'm never carrying you ever again in this suit Dk"

Luigi walked in the halls with Bowser beside him he looked around then they stopped in front of a door Bowser opened it making Luigi walk inside "You had a lot of guts talking to me like that" he said locking the door behind them and scaring Luigi "i-it was the heat o-of the moment" he said biting his tongue after stuttering Bowser looked at him still standing by the door then he walked up to Luigi scaring him a lot as Luigi backed into the wall Bowser slammed his claws into the wall beside Luigi scaring him badly "No. One. EVER. Spoke to me like that in my ENTIRE life!" He yelled in Luigi's face spitting smoke in front of him Luigi started coughing looking away "And yet...I liked it.." He said staring at Luigi as he looked back "W-what?" Bowser stared into his eyes "It was always me yelling at people never getting yelled at and it made me feel weird but in a good way" Luigi blushed looking at him "So you are telling me I unlocked a kink?" Bowser tilted his head "What's a kink?" Luigi realized what he said squeaking a little bit "N-nothing serious!" He said looking away then he looked at Bowser smiling, Bowser huffed then Luigi slowly reached out to Bowser, who growled at him and then stopped as Luigi touched his snout Luigi was dying of excitement petting him Bowser tried to fight it but lost the battle miserably laying down on Luigi's lap "this is embarrassing" Luigi laughed softly "yet your not stopping me big guy"

Summary: You get to meet the person that was out on vacation when you got into Micheal's group. Robin didn't feel right with you despite what the boys thought about you.

The cord from the console travels up to the remotes onto their hands. The gang of teens sloppily lying on the couch with legs hanging above the top of the couch. Fanning themselves from the summer heat and humid home. Yelling curses at the TV screen and tugging on the cord here and there.

"Donkey Kong reminds me of her," Simon said softly upside down off of the chair. Strands of hair fell past his ears. A pout on his lips looking like a kicked-over puppy.

"Everything reminds you of her." Micheal scoffs rolling his eyes while pressing on the buttons of the controller.

"Who's this 'her'?" Robin asked, lifting herself by her elbows on the chair. Curiosity and jealousy slowly ticking away at her mind. Who is her? Is she pretty? Does she wanna be her or date her? Will she be replaced? Will she have a new girl bestie? All these thoughts make her head stuffy.

"We met this girl at Mike's dad's work. Mike beat her high score in a video game and turns out she works there." Jeremy said, looking back and forth from the screen and to Robin. Recalling the poisonous perfume, pineapple, and honeysuckle lingers with him.

"Oh really? Shouldn't she be doing her job instead of playing on the arcade machines?" Robin asked, swiveling her head. All of them turned her way. Not letting her feel the way she wants to. But if the boys like this new girl so much then why can't she go along with it? Nothing will happen, it's just a hot chick.

"Hey! You leave her alone!" Simon said, flipping right side up. Dramatically waving his hand out like a sword horizontally while holding the controller with the other hand. Aaron passed him into the pixelated hell of Mario Kart, he let out a "Ha! Passed you!" Simon let out a "Damn it!" He jumps in his seat and turns back to the game with both hands on the controller.

"My dad said she's his and Henry's head engineer. She goes around doing whatever they want. She'll repair stuff, build stuff, and help around in any departments that need fixing." Michael explained twiddling a cigarette between his fingers. Takes another puff and breathes it in deeply, seconds later letting out a puff of smoke. Don't do drugs kids. Smoking gets you holes in your throat. That's what his mom always said. If his mom saw what he was doing right now, he would get lectured for hours.

"How did she get that high of a job offer?" Jeremy asked curiously, bouncing his leg up and down quickly.

"The girl is friends with Henry or something. He offered her the job." Michael said not pulling his eyes away from the screen with the bright colors and loud noises. How can a young woman be friends with an older man? I guess it's not uncommon, just so out of the blue.

"We'll go there again, you can meet her Robs. You can tell her about all the good stuff about us! Impress her about us!" Alejandro said, turning to her and pointing to her half-jokingly. Simon nodded quickly while looking at her with a big dopey grin.

"Depends if she's hot, I might have to steal her from you." Robin jokes with a sly smirk getting panicked noises out of the two boys. She giggled but deep down she had a tight burning feeling in her chest.

Pushing open the doors, the group walked through. All excitedly looking back at each other and looking around while Robin was grumpy coming in last. With the growl of Simon's stomach, they snagged an empty table. Wiping the trash and muck onto the floor, some workers saw this from afar and gritted their teeth. One of them broke the broom in half.

"Let's get a pepperoni pizza, make it large. That's 4 bucks. I got 2 on me." Alejandro said, looking through the menu and pulling out the money.

"I have another 2, it will be enough... Simon put your quarters away." Jeremy pulled out his money and looked at the other boy disappointedly. He slowly edged his coins off of the table and into his wallet sadly. The waitress came around and took the order on her notepad, walking off to the kitchen.

"I could've just got us free food. You know that right?" Michael said, smirking giddy. The table 'ooh'ed' in realization and cursed, he laughed at their stupidity. Of course, the boss's son would have all the benefits. They knew this. But in all the excitement they got lost in what they were doing.

"Okay, so what's the plan?" Robin asked, putting her elbows on the table. Peaking over her shoulder to find any hot chick. Accusing random pretty girls of being the girl they were talking about. She was so on edge, so nervous. Her whole friendship might change with the boys. Their group was just fine as is! Ugh, the faster it's done with the less she has to worry.

"We'll eat then go to the arcade, I overheard Henry saying how she is always there if she isn't working or she's in the office with my dad or him," Michael explained. It was weird to him, they were all so close in their little work relationship. But after meeting her family and seeing how she is. He got a grasp on it was more than just a work relationship. (Y/n) told him her hours beforehand and what she does around her job. Though he didn't want to look like a dork in front of the guys. Especially after the first time they met and got into a little rivalry.

Right then and there, the waitress came back put the pizza on the table, and Alejandro handed her the money. Everyone grabbed a slice and started to dig in. Cheese stringing attached to the leftover slices and brown crust around the pepperoni's. Mmm~

"I don't know how long I can last eating this pizza every day," Jeremy said, lifting it and watching the cheese fall from it.

"Every day? How are you guys not dead yet?" Robin asked, licking her fingers at the cheese and grease. Looking at the grease on the napkins. Their stomachs must be butchered. The lengths they go to... jeez!

"Simon and Alejandro like to come here to see the girl we're gonna have you meet," Michael says while chewing. This aggravated something within Robin. What was so special about this girl? That question has been plaguing her mind for days.

Throwing crusts, napkins, and other junk they had on the pizza tray. The money on the side is stacked nicely. Jeremy pushed everybody's seat in and followed them to the arcade. Simon pulled out his coins, giving five to each person. Q*bert's game title screen was bouncing with fun. Robin put in her coin and clicked the buttons. The guys watching over her shoulder. Jumping on the green squares of the pyramid avoiding the purple snakes. However, the further she got, she had failed to an enemy that was surrounded by every corner and got the game over. Jeremy took Robin's place and pressed his coin in halfway.

"Hey, (Y/n)!" Michael waved to her while leaning on the arcade game. He felt like he had the higher leverage after calling her almost every night. Elizabeth always made kissy noises from the hallway when he was on the phone. The result? Michael throws a pillow in her face.

Everyone's heads turned to the person working on a Pac-Man machine to get out some kid's stolen game tokens. She perked her head up shaking her head with a smile. Grabbed the tokens out of the machine and poured them into the kid's hand. He ran away from Pac-Man to find a game that works. She looked back at them getting up from her knees. The group walked over to (Y/n). She noticed Robin first, and curiosity formed. A deep admiration. She was pretty! Hiding her blush from looking at Robin with a melting smile.

"This is Robin Wilson, this is (Y/n) (L/n)." Jeremy introduced the two stutters in his words yet going between the both of them. (Y/n) nodded smiling softly and held her hand out, Robin mugged her and then looked away. She was confused by the passive aggression but didn't let it get to her, shaking it off

"So what are you doing? Still working?" Alejandro asked, Robin came to his side glaring at her. An excitement forming. His friend and his dream girl were finally meeting. It didn't feel normal to not take Robin with them. But she had a reason. She was on vacation with her family.

"Right now I'm done for today. If you guys want to do something?" (Y/n) asked, looking at her invisible watch and shrugging her shoulders. Sure, Henry wouldn't mind. He encourages her to make friends her age. As much as he loves her, he doesn't wanna be her only friend. William on the other hand... doesn't mind her following him around like a puppy. He'll just never admit it out loud.

"Yeah, we can go to Sparky's diner. I haven't been there in forever." Jeremy suggested tapping his fingers on the big video game machine. She nodded and left to the back to clock out and get changed out of the engineer jumpsuit uniform.

The bell jingled on the door as they left, walking down the sunny streets. A family restaurant, Eliot's in the shopping center full of cornered restaurants and different food shops. Full of boyish antics and heels tapping against the pavement. Simon walks next to (Y/n) trying to impress her by showing off volleyball stories from school. he was the team's spiker. Simon would renact the plays and sounds he did from his games. Even though he thinks he was being cool it was dorky. (Y/n) couldn't help but laugh at the display. Michael not too far off of her side rolled his eyes. Shaking his head like a disappointed mother. Though he felt something sting within him, he didn't act on it. The beautiful smile on (Y/n)'s lips showing her pearly whites was enough to make it fade away.

Robin looked back not having any of it. A nasty scowl appears on her face. Her sight darts over to Micheal. He gives her a small smile. Robin waves her finger in a motion signifying him to come to her. A little confused he strides up to her side leaving (Y/n)'s. All she has to do is keep the boys away from (Y/n) and everything will be the same. She was going to do that for as long as she could without being caught. A bell rings at the top of the doors.

"Hi! Table for six?" A waiter comes up holding menus. Nods and yeses were quick to answer. They followed the waiter down to a large table right by the window. The waiter leaving the menus on the table leaves politely.

"Uh, we're missing one more menu." Alejandro pointed out seeing as Jeremy doesn't have one. He was internally panicking from social anxiety letting his hair cover his eyes. Rubbing his hands on his pants.

"Here, we can share." (Y/n) offered putting her menu in between the two of them. Jeremy blushes to his ears just by the feeling of her shoulder against his. He lets out a small 'thank you.' The corners of Robin's mouth twitch in annoyance. 'What the hell is her problem? She would've stepped in to help him. She was literally about to give him her menu. Is (Y/n) trying to take him when he needs help? What's next? His free will?' Her thoughts rang out. Soon enough, the waiter came back to take drink orders. Everyone has a certain order. You can tell it gave the waiter a headache.

"Robs, how was vacation?" Simon asked, leaning over the table. She didn't even realize that they were talking. Snapping out of her annoyed trance.

"It was really fun! A little too hot for my liking. Though there were pretty beaches and sunsets. There were so many people on the beach. I brought souvenirs! They're back at my house." Robin explained looking through her menu. Michael and Simon feel excitement in their guts at having a little gift.

"Where did you visit?" (Y/n) asked politely. They were all talking so casually, that she wasn't up to date on what was happening recently. Feeling a little out of place, this group has known each other much longer than she has. (Y/n) was a little intimidated by the familiarity.

"San Diego, it's in California," Robin said, talking to (Y/n) as if she was stupid. She was annoyed to hear her voice. To Robin, it sounded like nails on a chalkboard. All she could do was stare at her and not look away. Seemingly disgusted and annoyed.

"Oh, that's cool!" (Y/n) said enthusiastically. The conversation changed its course after its awkward encounter. The silence between the two was deafening and uncomfortable. (Y/n) fidgeted with the dog tag around her neck then scratched at her hair and bit her bottom lip before letting them go.

Eventually, the drinks came in waters, lemonades, Shirley Temple, and rootbeers. Simon downed his drink as soon as he got it. It was never known whether it was because he was thirsty or wanted to have fun. The boys started chanting "Chug! Chug! Chug!" (Y/n) rolled her eyes playfully at the group. Robin looked down at her lap sipping her drink, uncharastically quiet. She was trying to ignore (Y/n)'s happiness. Simon let out an atomic burp.

"Dude that's gross!"

"Come on we're public!" Alejandro pushed Simon's shoulder over the table, the two of them snickering. (Y/n) shook her head playfully disappointed by their boyish behavior. Meanwhile, Robin was fuming, if this was a cartoon she would have steam coming out through her ears.

Everybody was eating and enjoying their food. Simon was talking with his mouth full and Michael was encouraging him, laughing at his disgustingness. Robin reached over to take a bite of Jeremy's food with her fork. he smiled nervously and let her take a bite. Robin took a slow bite while looking at (Y/n) half-liddedly. As if she did something. (Y/n) blinked at her confusedly and went back to picking at her food for the good stuff.

Michael reached over grabbing a fry off of (Y/n)'s plate. She shot him a look, throwing one of her eyebrows up smirking. He ate the fry in front of her. Robin rolled her eyes at them, there was a burning feeling in her chest. The boys were chatting (Y/n) occasionally joining in. Robin learned to tune out her voice, her voice was so annoying. They were getting more rowdy by the minute, and people around the restaurant looked at them with annoyance. Teenagers in the diner weren't anything out of the ordinary. However, the girls weren't paying attention to them. Caught up in their tension. Simon playfully pushed Jeremy's shoulder knocking his arm into Robin's drink, spilling it on her shirt. She yelped, a dark stain was forming on her red plaid vest.

"Oh shit! Sorry, Robin! Here." Simon grabbed a handful of napkins for her. She yanked them out of his hands.

She groaned. "Ugh, it's fine." After a few pats, she settled on going to the bathroom. the boys stand up letting her pass them. She made a break for the bathroom. The two sat back down.

"I'm gonna go help her." (Y/n) said, Alejandro got up out of his seat letting her pass by him. She walked towards the bathroom. Robin stood in front of the mirror with a bunch of crumpled damp paper towels. Patting down the dark stain on her cute vest. She looked in the mirror, and (Y/n)'s reflection appeared.

"What do you want?" She said harshly. She went back to cleaning up the soda split on her. "I came to see if you needed help." (Y/n) eyed her shirt. Coming up towards her grabbing some paper towels from the dispenser.

"It's not that bad." (Y/n) Put a little water and soap onto the paper towels. Patting down Robin's vest. She grabbed her hand and yanked it away from her. "Stop it," Robin growled.

(Y/n) backed off, allowing Robin to use the paper towels she got for her. Why was she so mad at her? What did she do wrong? (Y/n) let these thoughts linger in her head. She was trying to be friendly and make a new friend this whole time. The group was new to her but the boys were welcoming. So why wasn't Robin like that? It plagued her to think that something was wrong with her.

"You ruined everything! I hope you are happy." Robin snapped at her. It felt like a stab in the back. (Y/n)'s chest became hollow. "What do you mean?" (Y/n) asked quietly. The other girl glared at her.

"It was perfect without you here. Then you came and messed everything up. All they do is talk about you! It's so fucking irritating. This wouldn't even be a problem if you would" Robin scolded. (Y/n) looked away from her. Everyone had their moments but this was humiliating. There was nothing she could do but listen to the venomous words leaving Robin's mouth. "Oh," Is all that (Y/n) could say. Robin left with her back to the table.

in the midst of me drawing mirage and struggling with his design, i've made a few -1 braincell headcanons for the fellow mirage fandom because of course i did 🤡 (updated; will continue to add on until i forget):

okay so he smells like ocean mist, like, the scent you find at candle shops yknow?? he smells like the color blue or some sort of blue candy or fruit or candle basically

he ain't that smart bruh, like, he forgets words all the time like one time he thought that the word "konnichiwa" was fucking "coochiewap" like a fucking idiot

he likes storms, but just the rain part. he got jumpscared by thunder one time and he didn't like it at all. he can handle the rain outside but he won't go outside when it's thundering

when he was finally introduced to the sonic the hedgehog games, he deadass said "wait a minute, that ain't noah". he proceeded to feel like a clown for the rest of the day

blud can purr, i'm telling you! but like, he keeps it to himself most of the time for obvious reasons (he doesn't wanna be seen as a dork)

he's sarcastic for literally no reason and he loves trolling people. he probably has a inactive 4chan or deactivated reddit account that was only made to make people mad

he can and will hold you like burger. sometimes he will actually nom down onto your head (not like, actual bite but yknow the soft noms) or just hold you like a lil plushie

mirage has been dunked on by optimus at least once, like, full on basketball game. he has sworn to dunk on optimus in revenge. he hasn't succeeded so far....

i know this motherfucker can whimper, i know he does. if he can purr, he can whimper, and that is 102% facts right there. he already has a girlish scream....

on god he knows any cheesy old song that radiates positive vibes to heart. he could sing "bad" by michael jackson perfectly and do all the moves too. just imagine a huge blueberry of a robot jammin' out to the most stupidest songs /pos

i don't know why but he seems like a kids movie type of guy. you can and will catch him watching nightmare before christmas or aladdin alone in the back for like the 126th time

his favorite game to play in the sonic series is sonic cd. he asked noah to make a special controller for him so that he could play and not just watch all the time. his second favorite game is donkey kong country

this big ol' nerd can't count in uneven groups!! he's like that one guy counting the cash. in fact, he can't really count in big groups without thinking about it, even if it was by 100 or 1,000 (yes he's a doofus in my eyes [and i love him so much])

he craves, and i mean craves interaction. you saw him using the car as a step-stool to snoop on noah and kris!! you can't leave him alone for too long or else he gets a bit grumpy (he's tired of being cooped up and alone yknow)

when he was confessing to noah or whoever, he got overheated and sputtered really super duper quadruper hard (like a silly engine) and had to confess on a more cold day to keep himself maintained

sometimes he feels absolutely awful for literally no reason.. when he does feel bad, he targets one person to hover close to and just sticks beside them until he feels better/gets distracted (he usually sticks around optimus or noah but if you're lucky you might see him stick around with you!!)

speaking of distracted, he gets easily distracted like a silly lil goober kid! he could like deadass chase a little red dot around like a kitten and will nevereverever get tired. he's just that silly and hyper and goofy!!
