(u have to actively sneak behind their back and whisper to Katheryne that you want to put in other food quests in other guilds tho, silly kids will absolutely go running around Liyue and crazy shit just to have an adventure and do smth for you + eat ur banger food lol)

the wolves, Razor, and Andrius??? Go feral.

Fischl and Benny who were already on their way to u guys to hang out again start booking it thru the woods, dodging hilichurl camps (thatve since settled down and been v peaceful to the wolves + anyone in the woods of Wolvendom after u started living there)

they knowww ur cookin smth fucking amazing

(and u even have some hilichurls and mitachurl that wander close to Andrius’ edge of the woods to shyly beg for scraps,, u give them a portion)

Razor was actually lookin at u like u hung the stars just for him when u gave him a homemade barbecue sauce to put on his food

(u acc may have done that to Teyvatians according to Andrius + the stories u overheard from Springvale…)

ok but the amount of begging u get for desserts like-

No, Razor u cannot have chocolate cake/cupcakes after every meal, u need to take care of ur teeth

(u use ur collection of mora-monster-donations for comms for more ingredients and living supplies like fabric + furniture, u cant afford dental on top of that for ur boy)

Fischl dutifully declares you the “best chef in the kingdom” and writes down all ur recipes (u have them auto-stored in ur settings obv but it cant hurt to have a physical copy, and they look so happy doing it, u don't have the heart to tell them its not necessary-)

Benny insists on both giving u extra ingredients when he takes ur commissions, and giving u handmade trinkets or weapons for the meals!!

No!! He will not take “im good” for an answer!! ur sharing ur home-cave with him, taking care of his best friend Razor, and now feeding him food better than Liuli Pavilion!!! There’s no way he can just take all that and give nothing back!!!!

and theyre not the only ones getting some food tbh

when the knights begin patroling near Wolvendom and slowly all of Mondstadt to search for their “All God”, u break up the beginnings of a fight between 2 confused knights and the now peaceful hilichurl camp at the edge of Wolvendom

U offer some snacks u were going to give Benny’s Adventure Team when they got back (u made little triangle sandwiches, rice balls, etc. finger foods, and u made plenty extra bc u kno their teenage appetites lol)

the knights and hilichurls nearly cried with appreciation, which made for a hilarious sight when the teens actually showed up lmao

ur wearing ur cloak, bc u dont wanna take on that whole “creator of worlds” title just yet, and the kids helped verify u werent anyone suspicious (Benny + Fischl keep ur godly secret, theyre the best like that 🥰)

the knights just swing by for snacks occasionally (they also either pay u in trade or with mora, theyre not bullies)

another person who gets flavored food privileges is the lazy librarian witch herself

u also sometimes pick Razor up from Lisa’s tutoring and bring “the best tea and tea snacks in the world” along with to share with Lisa and him

(she is also fully aware after awhile of meeting u of what u are, and fully believes this is why the food must be enchanted to be so good, but u dont want to be treated super reverently she can tell, so she keeps ur secret too and is just extra flirty when u come by lol)

(Razor refuses to let his pare- Lupical move out of ur cozy cave to the library, so he sometimes hauls u away when Lisa flirts too much LMAO)

tbh Diluc was half-convinced that shit was a fever dream.

and grab a plate, piling on what leftovers u could, and turn back around from the coffee table to smile at him, patting the cushion-seat beside u for him to join

The giant glowing wolf licks his lips and watches him, the wolf-kid’s creepily watches him, and you, with eyes gold in teh light of a simmering bonfire just past the table, watch him

he just sits down and begins to eat.

its the best food he’s ever had, its his dad’s favorite dish, but not realistically, but the way memory embellishes a dish so much it can never be tasted again, except its right here. in front of him. u pour some wolfhook juice for him, and offer him a napkin to wipe his mouth and eyes

Diluc visits often after that, obviously.

u give him snacks too, and when he lets the staff try some, Adeline will not stop harassing him abt gettin ur recipes/ingredeints so u get him to pay Fischl to get a copy of their recipe book :)

including blank pages for future entries, and Fischl is literally glowing with happiness, would not stop monologuing abt ur food for weeks (send help Oz wants some peace and quiet sometimes)

Jean is actually begging him, Diluc ik u hate the knights but this is an international investigation-

this is the closest Diluc has ever gotten to getting under Venti’s skin.

when he told him this at Angel’s while bartending, he just casually ofc said this, just his smug little smirk, and the anemo god cracked a glass and everything- esp when he said he tried ur cooking??

he's gotta start looking over his shoulder in the city bc not only is Venti stalking him, the entirety of Mondstadt’s citizens are glaring at him in envy everywhere he goes LMAOO

mans is literally paying u in weapon/artifact materials/mora to make him lunch one day and Venti nearly lunges over the counter

Y'know why I'm 'so glad I wrote' this? Because it was such a pain in the ass; mostly due to my own internal pressures/complications. Many of my friends can attest to the fact that writing this fic was like pulling teeth. I am so fucking glad it's done. And I'm proud of it.

HIS VOICE CARRIES HER like the breeze of wind pushing petals to hover above ground. around them, the cave crumbles at the mighty hand of anankos’ word. orders of imposter figures and heroes sent to force peace down the throats of the army. when lilith roars the command, the army moves forward — wisps of their bodies act as weapons and pawns. spawning from the delusion of her very purpose. fuel to the fire when the three heroes shrink back at first glance, all knowing of the failure that would become of their bones and muscles once she struck them. it would only take one hit. one hit to end it all. one hit and she would be able to feast by anankos’ hand.

“ you... ” is what slips from her clenched teeth, falling from bruised lips. lilith’s claws sink into the ground, where the remnants of her failure have spread their ashes. the man that stands before her is too human, too expecting. she hates it. hates him. resentment sends her into a spiral already sculpted to fit her mind — heels push her off the ground as gold forms itself into the perfect blade. bars melt into the tip of a sword. lilith does not stutter even when this imposter refuses to evade her threat; gold slicing human skin too perfectly, too accurately.

blade cuts into his chest yet when he speaks, it is not in the form of a scream or yelp. it is nothing but a phrase, a single sentence.

“ my beloved daughter... lilith, ”

( you do not want it to be true. your heart aches to rip the name from his throat, tear his tongue out and crush it to dust. you are not his. you are not his but you were always something. )

she cannot keep her hands from shaking, nor stall the crimson that fades from her irises; indeed, leaving only the natural hazel of a daughter. not a vessel or pawn or warrior. lilith whines at the drum that begins its enticing performance within her mind; the voice of disappointment. resentment. she will be hated. she will be remembered as a failure. father said that failures don’t deserve much but this imposter’s gaze...

nimble, bloodied fingers reach for her, combing through untamed locks of aqua hair, pushing back short bangs to show the sky the crystal pressed into her forehead. ( why can you not remember how it felt to be touched? why must you be so desperate, little godling? ) his lips press against her forehead and the realization that this gesture should be familiar to her, loosens her grip. golden blade clatters against the ground; useless, she thinks. useless, she is. useless, useless, useless,

and it is that word that becomes the beginning of the eulogy to her mind, her spirit, him. because the cave crumbles and father reaches to strike her only seconds after imposter’s lips leave her forehead. and she does not move. does not argue against the claws that seek her out. lilith does not argue when it is her turn to die.

is it why her voice only echoes when a sacrifice takes her place?

Merfolk!AU Headcanons - For MerMay!

All the Main Characters are in a single pod for this. Also highkey if Sora didn’t have a Canon™ tail color I would have gone with red or gold...

Sora is a spritely, bright merboy who can’t seem to grow as much as his friends do, making him kind of a smol boi. His tail is basically the same as the Atlantica one. The pod absolutely loves him because, honestly, how can you not love him? He makes mischief sometimes but it’s mostly harmless. He’s sweet to everybody and can fight when external threats come looking for trouble but he’s just as likely to try to talk it out.

Riku is a shark merboy with a grey-and-white tail to compliment his silvery-white hair. He’s one of the tallest/longest youths in the pod. He’s very protective of the pod as a whole---but Sora and Kairi in particular---and happens to be one of the strongest. Do not cross him. He’s fast and vicious when he has to be. Otherwise he’s a total ball of mush but he doesn’t let anyone see that XD

Kairi is the kindhearted daughter of the pod’s leader who loves her friends to death. She has a pink-to-purple ombré tail and is remarkably ruthless. People think she’s all gentle hugs and sweet smiles but cross her at your own peril. She may not always pick a fight, but she sure as heck will be the one to finish it. She’s tough as a whale and strong as a shark while being sweet and feminine and lowkey some of the pod is mildly scared of her.

Ventus is a friend to everyone. He’s another kindhearted merboy who’s just doing His Best™. He’s got a vibrant green tail and sass to spare. He’s an extremely fast swimmer---the fastest in the pod---who is protective of his pod but not really intimidating (like Riku) enough to scare off anyone before he attacks. Threats don’t believe he’s dangerous until his agility attacks throw them way off-guard. He lowkey has a special magic spell that he came up with that lets him create and manipulate currents---which helps him move so fast.

Aqua is the pod leader’s right-hand mermaid. Her tail is brighter blue than Sora’s. Her talents lie largely in magic---including Siren Singing. She doesn’t sing often, but when she does it’s enchanting. She ends up Mom Friend™ing most of the younger mers in the pod (Sora, Kairi, Riku, Ven, etc.) and all of them love and respect and look up to her. She sets a great example for them---they just don’t always have an easy time following that example XD Still, Aqua’s trying hard. She’s also a fantastic swimmer---not as fast as Ventus, but she’s agile enough to attack fast and efficient.

Terra is another shark-type mer. His tail is more akin to a brown tiger shark. He’s the hard-hitter when it comes to attacking. He’s as fiercely protective of the pod as Riku is, possibly even edging Riku out for Most Protective™, but he’s definitely not as swift or agile as Aqua or Ventus---or even Riku. When Terra attacks, threats 100% feel every hit and Feel It In The Morning. He’s had a lot of struggles---envy, temper, mild desire for more power than he has---but he’s improving.

Roxas is the pod troublemaker. While Sora’s mischief is mostly harmless, Roxas makes real trouble and doesn’t mind mouthing off to people. Oftentimes other pod members are surprised how powerful he is. On the surface he seems angry all the time but that’s because most of the pod doesn’t look deeper or Roxas doesn’t allow them to see him relaxed. He’s selectively social anyway and only hangs out with two other mers---Axel and Xion. His tail is white with black patches and a few single red scales scattered over it.

Xion is a soft-spoken young mermaid who seems quiet and shy but is actually tough as heck and braver than half the pod. She’s probably the smartest of the younger mers in the pod. She and Kairi get along well for being far more ruthless than they look. Even when she’s viciously taking down threats, she’s still quiet. Most of the pod have no idea how she and Roxas get along so well. Her tail is black with white patches and a few single violet scales.

Axel was originally from another pod. He claims he doesn’t remember much about it. He had a different name in that pod but he’s trying his best to forget who he was. He takes Roxas and Xion under his fins within five minutes of joining their pod because he saw wayward souls like his within them. For that matter, he also gets along with Ventus for the same reason. The younger mers all look at him with awe and think he’s cool---even though internally he’s suffering from Imposter Syndrome because he doesn’t see himself that way. He’ll act like he thinks he’s cool but doesn’t believe it. He, Roxas, and Xion all protect each other from the rest of the pod and external threats. His tail is long and red with patches of orange and yellow---and even some gold. He’s tough and scarred but won’t tell anyone where the scars are from.

Naminé is Aqua’s magical apprentice. She’s kind and sweet. She’s not a fighter but she does her best to be strong when she needs to be. She’s another powerful magic user. Her Siren Singing is unmatched. She uses what she has in the ocean to paint her white tail with different, vibrant, artistic colors and designs. The pod loves her for being unabashedly herself. Always. Axel tends to keep an eye on her when he gets a second. She and Xion like to collect shells together and make crafts out of them with Kairi and Aqua.

Vanitas is the other troublemaker. His trouble is the most malignant. He’s gone out seeking danger for the funsies. He’s reckless but he’s powerful. His tail is black with red patches. He’s a fast but strong fighter. He doesn’t really like the people in his pod but he knows he can’t strike out on his own in the ocean and expect to survive. Merfolk live in pods for a reason. He actually spent a long time watching Riku train and fights similarly to him---fast, vicious, strong. But where Riku uses it to protect the pod, Vanitas tends to use it to pick fights with whatever’s outside the pod that he deems a worthy opponent. He and Ventus are almost exact opposites and very rarely get along. They shout at each other a lot.

General things first!!

Forewarning: Im writing these all from memory so I’m sorry if I have a few things wrong.

What is Kingdom Hearts?

Kingdom Hearts is a popular JRPG series born as a collaboration between Square Enix & Disney. It features a spiky haired protagonist whose home, an island, was destroyed through some strange event involving monsters and darkness, and he (and his friends) were swept away into different worlds. He goes on quests to find his friends, and eventually ends up involved in a lot more than what he originally planned for. There’s a common theme of light vs. dark throughout the series, and it kinda reminded me of Dangan Ronpa haha...

thats a lie, this au is just an evolved form of a namiku dr au and namiku is all that inspired me

What is Dangan Ronpa?

Dangan Ronpa is a visual novel/adventure game series developed by Spike Chunsoft. It features a different protagonist each game, unlike KH, but each protagonist always has an ahoge. The characters are all students at a prestigous, hope-cultivating high school called Hopes Peak. Each and every one of the students there have a special “Super High School Level” Talent. Continuing, the plot of each main game is that of the protagonist arriving somewhere, meeting their classmates, and being abruptly told that the entirety of the class must participate in a killing game if they want to escape from wherever they are. Once a murder has occurred, a class trial takes place to determine the killer, and should the killer be found guilty, they get put through a special execution. The game usually ends with a dramatic trial that determines the mastermind behind the whole thing, and usually when the class (a full set of 16 children, usually) has been decimated to about 5~6 children. The games feature a common theme of hope vs. despair.

This AU is based off DR:Trigger Happy Havoc, the first game. A few of the things are different, though.

~Tragic Backstory~

Namine’s missing during breakfast. Riku heads out on search, finds nothing, and hopes from the bottom of his heart that she’s just in her room and does not want visitors. Later, Roxas goes missing, and Axel/Lea is extremely anxious. At the same time, someone screams from the girl’s changing room[change location?]. A body. And it’s Namine. There are a dozen knives stuck in her flesh. There’s another body found at the end of the 2nd floor hallway, and the corpse looks pretty fresh. Surprise surprise, it’s Roxas, though you could tell that from a mile away. There’s pretty clear strangulation marks on his neck, and two swords sticking out from his stomach. Everything in surrounding is stained with blood.

Case 4 - The Really Buff Person is Killed

Victim - Terra | Culprit - Terra

It was a suicide.

Case 5 - Fake Murder & Fake Execution

In a an attempt to push Sora, a hindrance to the plan, away, hes blamed for the murder of someone whose already dead.

Alright, onto more of the excess details!!

In Case 3, Saix is the one who actually killed Roxas, but used Axel as a scapegoat.

YMX is the one controlling the whole situation, and is the true SHSL Despair. However, he uses Saix as a scapegoat and escapes.

Chapter Summary: As rumors about the lost prince reach Xehanort, he plans to snuff this alleged imposter out. Meanwhile, others are much more hopeful at the possibility of Prince Sora's survival... Not many knew what went on in the Organization’s sinister stronghold. Its floating towers were all but inaccessible to outsiders, and only those connected to the king and his magic could open up dark gateways to get inside. The common folk often speculated about how the elite lived; they imagined nightly parties, wicked affairs where Xehanort and his followers would watch prisoners be tortured and killed for their own sadistic pleasure. They imagined bountiful food and drink and riches, the kind anyone outside of the castle’s walls hadn’t seen since before the fall. They imagined a group that used their authority over the people below to live in lawless luxury, safe and secure in their ivory towers above. The truth, however, wasn’t quite what they imagined. While it was true that the Organization members had plenty to eat and all of the power over the people Xehanort could promise them, they stuck to surprisingly rigid routines. Most of their days were spent on patrol throughout the islands, enforcing their king’s laws and ensuring anyone who didn’t follow them were punished accordingly. Whenever they were all gathered at the castle, it was usually for their weekly council meetings. Much like the one they were congregating for today.

When someone is born as a Neko instead of as a normal human, they are sent to the Aqua Shelter, a special shelter that sells well trained Neko's to the highest bidders. The shelter was known for having Neko's that were extremely well behaved, making them the most popular shelter in the world.

But what they didn't know was the horrifying truth about the shelter, what really happened to those unfortanate enough to be born with a tail and cat ears.
