The Special Arm - Part 2

REQUESTED BY ANON: HI IM NOT SURE IF SOMEONES ASKED THIS ALREADY BUT I WAS BUNGED READING YOUR MASTERLIST BECAUSE I LOVE YOUR WRITING AND I WAS WONDERING IF YOH COULD MAKE A SECOND PART TO THE SPECIAL ARM?? 

AND 2ND ANON: EYYYY!! I’m alive and actually on tumblr for once! 😂 I was the potato chip who asked about what you were planning to write and it appwears that my request was sucked into the Tumblr void so I was wondering if I could have a part two to the special arm please and than

PART 1

After telling your brothers about your arm, you felt free to walk around the motel without your glove. You even stopped wearing it in the car. The only places you still hide it, it is in dinners, shops and at school.

Sam and Dean tried to make you burn that glove forever, to have no shame to show your robotic arm. However, it makes you different, it brings people’s attention, and you hate attention, especially at school. Kids can be… very mean.

“Come on (Y/N)!” Dean called out from outside the bathroom “we are gonna be late!”

Again today, you are signed up to a new school and your brothers come with you on the first day to explain your arm. Dean thought it wasn’t your job to tell the teachers about your condition. So, he is the one to go talk to the principal.

In the bathroom, you take one last look at yourself in the mirror, gathering the courage to go to school. Killing a monster is easy, but normal is so hard and scary.

You get out of the bathroom, getting a look of disapproval from your brothers.

“You gonna wear that?” Dean asked pointing at your glove.

“Yeah, so?” You snapped back.

“(Y/N)” Sam sighs “you know that you don’t need to be scared to show your arm. It’s part of you”.

“I already told you that I didn’t want to show it!”

Sam and Dean look at each other, defeated, once again.

The first day went smoothly, of course you got the weird eyes from the students and the teacher’s sad expressions.

The next day, you feel more than ready to attack the day. As you walk in the hallway, the students stares at your glove arm and whispers to each other. Panic takes you over: did they see it yesterday in gym class?

You sit at your desk and start reading your book, until a student, the popular boy arrives with his gang.

“Hey! My mom told me that your arm is not real”.

Your eyes go wide. How can the mother of a random student in your school know about your arm? You suddenly click: the principal or teachers.

Seeing that you weren’t going to respond, the boy continues:

“We want to see it!”

You shake your head, tears threatening to fall on your cheeks.

“Come on!” Another boy shouted.

They start shouting at you to take it off. But you are confused, you show them and get bullied? Or do you not show them and get bullied?

Remembering Sam’s words makes the decision easier.

You take off your glove shakily, showing the metal.

The boys stare at it in fascination.

“This is amazing!”

“It’s like in the movie I saw!”

“So cool!”

Frowning, you listen to the boys words. The whole class gather around your desk, exclaiming your arm.

‘They like it?’ You thought to yourself.

For the rest of the day, you kept your glove off. The others were talking positively about your arm. They’re even was this boy who called it ‘The Special Arm’.

At the end of the day, you were happily walking back to the black 69 Chevy Impala. You get in the car getting your brothers attention. They turn around to look at you.

“Hey kiddo, how was-“

Dean stops mid-sentence after Sam pats his shoulder to point your arm to him.

“You took it off?” Sam asked surprised.

You tell them what happened in class with the boys, giving them some examples of what they said about your robotic arm.

“I told you not to be scared” Sam said with a proud smile.

“Ready to burn it?” Dean asked with the same expression as his little brother.

“I already did it in the bathroom” you said.

“What!” Dean exclaimed “give me the lighter”.

“Oh why!” You whine “metal don’t burn”.

“You’re not wolverine, now give” Dean said with a strict tone.

You sigh loudly, giving it to him.

“Not only your arm is special kiddo” Dean smiled.

You could not agree more.
