Finally, IT'S DONE. When i heard that there was supposed to be an anti-Chaotix group but they only went as far as calling them the Orderix i was like "well don't mind if i do" and these guys are the result, maybe i'll do an individual page for each. Also that "D" gave me more trouble than a letter should have.
I had been thinking about how Ray loves Mew but Mew looks at Ray with barely disguised disdain and I realized that the reason it works is because Mew disguises his disdain as an insulting kind of concern, talking to Ray almost like he cares but also with the knowledge that he is always looking down on him for his choices and he could just make better ones, y'know, even if he won't and Ray is so devastatingly lonely and lacking affection that even that disdainful kindness feels like the biggest, best thing in this life.
(But that's also why Sand and Ray are going to hurt so much, because Sand offers honesty and the real kind of friendship and love, supportive but realistic and willing to tell him what he's doing and not wrap it up in false kindness or care that comes from using him and Ray doesn't think he deserves that, doesn't think he can handle that, and he will hurt him and he will lash out and he will dig his claws in and pull them out and purr like nothing happened because he's used to being dismissed entirely but Sand won't dismiss him and it's going to hurt so much.)
