Goblin

I might know every single detail and any scene by heart of this drama. I cried a river and smiled a lot with this one. Definitely a gem!!!!

Uncontrollably fond

If you haven't seen it you lost lots of things. I literally cried whole through the show. Both are my fave actors on the industry so whenever I get bored I just open this one and cry myself out.

MOON LOVERS

I will never quit saying this but, WE NEED SEASON 2. First of all I hate historical dramas but this one hits different. I didn't even watch hwarang yet but watched this one for 74937r9 times.

RUN ON

This drama is my comfort drama. Rarely touching each other, no bad vibes, full positivity. I think this drama's vibe is one of the best.

 Hiç hesapta olmayan tamamen şans ederi izlemeye başladığım bir dizi. Şöyle düşünün, dizinin nasıl bir dram dozu içerdiğini daha ilk 15dksında anlıyorsunuz ama yapabileceğiniz hiçbir şey yok. Bu dizi kalbimin içinde geçecek diyorsunuz ama izlemeye devam ediyorsunuz. Diziye değil de senariste ‘neden’ diye bağırasınız geliyor. Neden insanın kalbini bu kadar kırmak için oturup yazdın kardeşim. Kore dizilerinde ne kadar kötü de olsa diziyi toparlayıp bitirme huyu var. Bu dizide ise, neresinde bakarsanız bakın sonunun kötü biteceğini biliyorsunuz. Ufaktan konusunu anlatayım.

Shin Joon-Young (Kim Woo-Bin) Kore'nin çok ünlü idollerinden biridir. Büyük bir hayran kitlesine sahiptir ama yalnızdır. Birçok reklam, dizi, film işlerinde boy göstermektedir. Bir gün baş ağrıları için gittiği doktordan tedavi edilemeyecek bir hastalığı olduğunu ve en fazla bir yıl ömrü kaldığını öğrenir. Dizinin ilk bölümü hastalığını kabul etmeyişini izliyoruz. Öyle ki, hata yapıldığına ve sağlıklı olduğuna çok emin. Sağlıklı beslenen, spor yapan kendine çok özen gösteren bir genç olduğu için bunun bir yanlış anlaşılma olduğuna bizi bile inandırıyor. Zaten dizinin o kadar dramatik olmasını istemediğimiz için inanmaya meylediyoruz. Ama sonra ya gerçekse diye düşündüğünde, pişmanlıkları ile ölmek istemediğini fark ediyor. En büyük pişmanlığı üniversiteden tanıdığı No Eul (Bae Suzy)’dir. Onu bulmak için menajerine talimat verir.

No Eul ise muhabir olarak çalışmaktadır. Hayatı boyunca yaşamak için savaş vermiştir. Tuttuğunu koparan azimli bir kızdır. Habercilikte bir türlü istediği gibi işler yapamadığı için, önemli kişilere bulduğu haberler ile şantaj yaparak para kazanmaktadır. Gurur onun için önemsiz bir detaydır. Hayatta kalmak için paraya ihtiyacı vardır, para için ne gerekirse yapabilir. Shin Joon Young'un menajeri No Eul’u bulduğunda ikili yıllar sonra bir araya gelirler. Geçmişlerindeki hesaplar, düzeltilmesi gereken pişmanlıklar ortaya dökülür.  

Kim Woo-Bin ile bu dizide tanıştık. Aslında ilk gördüğümde farklı bir yüzü olmasından dolayı sevip sevmediğime bir türlü karar veremedim. Dizi boyunca duruşu, ses tonu, tarzı ile beğenimi kazansa da sonradan ‘Our Blues’ dizisinde oyuncu olarak takdirimi kazandı. Neden bilmiyorum, belki de çok fazla üzdüğü için, bu dizide kendisini kabullenemedim. Yine sonradan öğrendim ki Kim Woo-Bin bu dizi çekimlerinden bir sene sonra gerçekten kansere yakalanmış. Ölümcül hastalığı olduğu böyle bir diziden sonra rolünü yaptığı acıları gerçek hayatta da çekmiş olması beni çok etkiledi. 2017 yılında nazofarenks (üst yutak) kanseri teşhisi konan Kim Woo Bin tedavi görmeye başladıktan sonra askerlikten muaf tutulmuş. Tedavisinden sonra ya da sırasında bilmiyorum Wiretap filminde rol almış olsa da, ekranlara Our Blues dizisi ile dönüş yaptığını söyleyebiliriz.

Kimse kusura bakmasın ama Bae Suzy ile Park Shin-Hye inanılmaz benziyorlar. Hangisi daha iyi oyuncu derseniz Shin-Hye’nin donuk oyunculuğu sağ olsun Bae Suzy bir tık önde görünüyor. Bu dizide de oyunculuk anlamında, ikili olarak da güzel bir tercih olmuştu.

Dizinin konusuna dönecek olursam, Joon-Young karakteri gerçekten kalbimizi çok dağladı. Annesi tarafından tek başına büyütülen Joon-Young, annesinin isteği üzerine üniversitede hukuk seçmiş. Büyürken fakir bir hayatları olduğu için, hep annesine avukat olup haksızların yanında yer alıp, ona güzel bir hayat yaşatacağı sözünü vermiş. Ancak bir anda fikrini değiştirip oyuncu olmaya karar verince, annesi onu kapı dışarı koymuş. Lokanta sahibi olan anne Shin Young-Ok(Jin Kyung) oğlunu, dükkanın camına oğlunun hayranlarının dahi giremeyeceğini söyleyen poster asacak kadar yok sayıyor. Joon-Young’un lokantaya gidip, annesinin elinden yemek yemek istediği ama annesinin servis yapmağı sahneler beni en çok üzen sahneler oldu. Dizi boyunca hiçbir duygu, anne – oğul arasındaki bu çok acıklı diyaloglar kadar bana geçemedi.

İkili için yorum yapacak olursam, yakışmasına yakışıyorlardı ama aralarında öyle destansı bir aşk yoktu. Kore dizilerinde çok az rastladığımız yanlış anlamalar, inadına verilen kararlar, gereksiz tripler vardı. Bu kısımlar beni biraz boğdu. Az zamanı kalan gencecik bir çocuk, bu zamanı boş planlar ve gereksiz yanlış anlaşılmalar ile geçirdi. Gerek var mıydı emin değilim.

Kısacası, senariste kızgınım. Oyuncu ile tanıştığım için mutluyum. Bu kadar acıklı bir hikaye izlediğim içinse buruğum. İşte böyle bir diziydi. İzlenir mi, izlenir. Ama insan kendine böyle niye eziyet eder bilmiyorum.

who’s who in “let ‘em in” by wings (1976)

and some other thoughts on the song

prefacing this by saying that paul himself has changed his own interpretations and offered many explanations up for each name mentioned in the song! i don't necessarily think there's one right answer about what's about who - paul is known for writing about multiple things at once and having many layers of inspiration behind his lyrics. i will mostly be focusing on the names paul lists off within the song, in the order they appear, starting with:

- sister suzy: suzy was linda mccartney's alter ego within her own band, suzy and the red stripes which was active at the time this song was written. paul has stated on many occasions, including in “the lyrics”, that sister suzy is a reference to linda.

- brother john: a lot of articles reference brother john as being john eastman, linda's brother, while others reference john lennon. paul himself said it could be either. but if we're being honest, the first person paul's gonna think of when someone says “john” is lennon, hands down.

it's worth noting the use of sister when describing linda, paul's wife. while it could make sense in the context of the line brother john being john eastman (john and linda being actual brother and sister to one another), i think it's valid to examine the other potential meanings as well, particularly if we think of brother john as john lennon. it places paul's relation to them both as, firstly, familial and implies an equality in the roles they've served within paul's life. starting the list of people with linda (placing her as the most important as the lot) and then john second is interesting as well. we've seen countless examples of paul and john both comparing their relationships with their wives to their relationships with each other and i think it's striking that paul does this here, whether consciously or not.

(nowadays, paul's brother and sister in law via his wife nancy are actually named jon and susie, coincidentally enough.)

- martin luther: paul writes in "the lyrics" that this is about MLK which i'm sure it partially is but also there is an account of the other three beatles jokingly calling john "john martin luther lennon" in the early days though i couldn't find a solid source for this. there is the infamous 1985 hunter davies quote from paul's off the record phone call with him where he called john “martin luther lennon" but that was obviously years after let 'em in and in a massively different context (though potentially this could suggest that it’s a comparison he’s mentally made before but that’s a bit of a stretch, evidence wise lol). i’ve also heard people say martin luther could potentially be a reference to george martin as well, which is possible. others have speculated that this is a reference specifically to martin luther and the 95 theses (“knocking on the door" i.e. nailing the theses to the door) which paul says may have been true on an unconscious level but wasn't purposeful.

- phil and don: the everly brothers, one of paul and john's earliest and biggest influences as young lads. they were heavily inspired by the everly brothers when they performed as their duo, the nerk twins. they also referred to themselves as the foreverly brothers on other occasions.

- brother michael: paul's brother mike, unsurprisingly. though paul also states in “the lyrics” that this might have been a reference to michael jackson as the timing works with paul and linda meeting the jackson 5 around the same time as well but i think realistically he probably mostly had mike mccartney in mind with this one.

- auntie jin: paul’s real and favourite auntie from liverpool. saw one very rogue take that it’s meant to sound like ‘antigen’ but, quite frankly, i think that’s a bit horseshite.

- uncle ernie: in “the lyrics”, paul mentions that he has a cousin called ian who was sometimes referred to as "ern". but also states that at this point he was just playing with words and sounds and this probably wasn't his intention. previously, paul has attributed the line as a reference to keith moon, who was close to the mccartneys in the 70s prior to his death and played the character of uncle ernie in the film tommy (1975). it also could refer to ringo starr as well, as he voiced uncle ernie in the LSO's recording of tommy. ringo himself referenced let 'em in ("someone's knocking on the door/someone's ringing my bell") in 2003 in the song "english garden" which suggests that, at the very least, he felt as though there was some connection to him there.

- uncle ian: like previously stated, paul has mentioned his cousin ian as potentially inspiring this line but personally i think uncle ian could be a reference to paul himself. "ian iachimoe" (meant to phonetically sound out "paul mccartney" backwards) is one of paul's many pseudonyms, thought to have been created around 1966. he signed the lyrics of paperback writer with "yours sincerely, ian iachimoe" and it is also said that in order to distinguish themselves from the rest of his mail, paul would tell his close friends and family to address letters to ian iachimoe so he would know to read them.

paul referred to "let 'em in" as the musical equivalent of a "stocking stuffer" in “the lyrics” which i'm sure it was in his mind but me and my tin hat will be reading deeper into it as usual! this song reminds me quite a lot of “call me back again" in the sense that i think (subconsciously) it may be a bit of a poke at john to get in contact with him.

it's important to note that the album was written/recorded/released around the time of the infamous “it isn't 1956 anymore” incident where, according to john, paul kept showing up at the dakota with his guitar after sean was born without calling ahead. john would let him in but would be a bit put off about it until one day he gave paul a bit of shite for it and paul took it quite personally. while the actual incident is noted as happening in april of 1976 (according to the beatles bible) if it's true that, as john says, this happened a few times there could have also been some tension with paul appearing at john's in the prior months before paul recorded the song in february of 1976.

paul has spoken of the song as reminiscent of a typical party in liverpool where there's sort of a constant stream of family and friends coming through the door - this could be something paul is nudging john to remember (especially with the references to their teenage musical influences and acquaintances and paul's family members that john himself once knew personally.) something along the lines of "oh come on, john, you've gotta just let people into your life, you can't shut out the people who love and miss you. this is how it used to be with us, don't you remember those days?" ... but that's just my interpretation. anyway sorry this was so long but i just thought i'd share in case some of you hadn't heard all the possible interpretations of the lines :))

“steve i don’t think—“ he glides over and places his hands atop of yours, guiding you to a correct stance and showing you how to hold his nail-impaled bat. why does he have this again?

“jus’ like this. you’ve got it! look so badass right now.” he says, placing a small kiss on the sweet spot on your neck before stepping backwards.

he’d insisted that he taught you how to defend yourself against anymore creepy beings that may arise anytime soon. after dragging you into the mess of the demodogs and the mind flayer in it’s flesh form, he vowed that he would allow you to defend yourself incase he wasn’t there to do it for you.

the sentiment was sweet of course, but you thought it was a decent idea. you didn’t like the feeling of a man having to be there to protect you all the time. you loved steve, but you didn’t want him to get hurt while attempting to save you.

“like this?” you ask sheepishly, not daring to meet his eyes incase you got it wrong again. when he didn’t answer, you had no other choice than to look at him.

he was staring at you intently, analysing your whole being. his gaze made you slightly insecure and worried, but he was truly just mesmerised by you. he couldn’t understand or wrap his head around how he’d scored with such a beautiful girl like you.

“perfect… you’re perfect” he says, quite breathlessly. “but maybe the bat isn’t for you… can you fight with your hands pretty girl?” giving a small wink and a smirk while rilling you up.

throwing the bat to the side and deciding the play his game while your blush sunk down, you raise your fists playfully and bounce around as if you were a kung-fu fighter in a video game. “course i can, think you can take it harrington?”

“that a challenge darling? jus’ because i love you, doesn’t mean i’ll go easy on you.”

you giggle, throwing him off guard before closing the distance between you two and faking a punch at his face; stopping before you can hit it, not wanting to mess up his pretty face.

the small ‘pow’ leaving your lips makes his heart swell. he doesn’t even flinch at your faux punch, instead he just stares at you with complete adoration before grabbing you by your waist and lifting you up in the air.

involuntary squeals leave your mouth as your spin in the air, holding your arms around steve’s neck before leaning in to kiss him.

“think that’s enough training for one day…” he mumbles against your lips, kissing you again before lifting your legs up to wrap around his hips. your hand grazes his jaw as you two hold eachother in the garden, lips interlocking in the golden sunlight.

“where is he— steve! hey! eww are you guys kissing? gross dude” the sound of dustin henderson’s recognisable voice fills steve’s garden as he pulls away from you and leans his head on your chest before sighing.

“do you always have to find a way to interrupt me, henderson? of course i’m kissing her, she’s my girlfriend. you tellin’ me you never kissed suzie?” he says annoyed, causing you to chuckle as you slip out of his grasp.

“okay, doesn’t mean you have to kiss her when i’m here. get a room or something. of course i’ve kissed suzie, steve. i just had the decency to not do it infront of everyone.” the curly haired boy retorts, resulting in steve grumbling insults incoherently before gaining a mischievous glint to his honey eyes.

“okay then, we will.” steve replies casually, grabbing your thighs rugby-style and hanging you over his shoulder. “we will?! what’re you—“

“i’m giving the kid the privacy he wants, so we can carry on what we started in my room. problem?” walking towards the door to the large house, steve pats the boy on his head before leaving him speechless on the grass. his mouth agape and unsure how to reply to steve’s witty response.

“nope. no problems.”

“that’s what i thought”

Seokjin helped Haru put her bags in the car, taking her home and leaving Jungkook at his apartment. The two arrive and unload Haru's bag at her house and say their goodbyes, promising to FaceTime with each other later. Haru saw your car at the door, so she knew you were home, but she was surprised you haven't come to see her yet.

"Wide cat, are you there? I'm home", she saw the light of your room up. "Where are you going, YN?!", Haru asked in shock, as she saw you putting the rest of your things in the suitcase.

"Home.", you lied, and Haru shook his head.

"WHAT? Tell me you're not going to that house again! That place is not your home, YN, and you know that!", she takes the bag from your hand, and you see the sadness in her eyes.

“Please, don’t look at me like that, Haru…"

"Like WHAT?", she asks, exasperated.

"Like you're disappointed."

Haru saw you were about to cry, but she couldn't back away now, or you'd do something you'll regret the rest of your life.

"Stop it, YN! Enough of this self-sacrificing bullshit! Stop acting like you have nobody who cares about you!", she throws her arms in the air in frustration. "You have me! You have Jungkook and so many people here for you! So no, you don’t have to go back and deal with your crappy parents again. I won't let you do this."

"I just don't know what to do, Haru.", you confessed, letting the tears come again. Haru didn't know exactly what you were talking about, but one thing she knew for sure is that she wasn't gonna let you go that easily.

"You can do anything. Any fucking thing, YN. Just don't go back there. You can't do that."

You sat on the couch running your hands through your hair, and she sat right beside you. "You can talk to Jungkook about it. You can.", she assures you. "Stop letting them make you miserable, YN. You had enough. I really think you could talk to Jungkok. If he doesn't understand then fine, you'll move on, but you didn't even give him a chance. I feel like you are so overwhelm 'cause you insist on taking all this heavy stuff in your chest alone. Stop trying to live like you're all alone, YN."

"I wanna talk to him about it… I just… I wouldn't know where to start. He doesn't even want to see me anymore."

"You're wrong.", Haru assures you. "I think he's jus-"

You both look at the door, unsure of who was knocking.

"YN?", you heard the voice you love the most in this world. Jungkook's. He knocked hard again. "YN, open the door! I need to talk to you, and I'm not leaving until I do!", he kept knocking hard, desperate to see you.

You look at Haru who's just as shocked as you.

"I saw your car outside! C'mon!", Jungkook yelled, knocking again.

"What are you waiting for?", she signs for you impatiently. "Open that door before he breaks it! YOU BETTER STOP KNOCKING ON MY DOOR, JUNGKOOK! SHE'S GOING!"

Jungkook stops knocking, his heart beating fast. Thank God you were there. You open the door slowly, not knowing what's going on or why is Jungkook knocking at your door after literally say he didn't have hope in your relationship. He doesn't waste a second once you open the door, pulling you closer to him and kissing you.

"Now, you listen to me, carefully", Jungkook rest his forehead on yours, holding your face between his hands, catching his breath. "Whatever it is you have going on: You don't have to tell me. I'll listen if you wanna tell me, but I don't have to know, ok? I trust you and I love you, YN. I just need you to understand that you're not alone. Not anymore. I'm right here with you. I've always been, and we'll figure all the rest together. I love you in every possible way."

You nod, kissing him back, letting the tears fall down. Why he was saying that? What changed?

Jungkook pulled away, holding your face again, making sure you were paying attention. "I don't wanna let you go, babe. I tried and I can't. I don't want to. So yeah, let's be friends or whatever you want us to be, 'cause I'm not willing to let you go again, YN. Come back to me."

NO idea what brought this on but yeah sure! unless stated otherwise my work usually writes everyone bi by default, even if they haven’t realized it yet, but it can be really fun to play with different interpretations too. honestly its not something i think about often or keep too rigid, sometimes it depends on what kind of story im writing and what messages i want to convey. but sometimes we stay silly

- isabel max johnny violet are bi

- isaac dimitri stephen are gay

- ollie tends to flip between ‘future bear’ and ‘token straight friend’ it usually depends which is funnier in context

- lisa and suzy being lesbians has always been a constant in my brain

- if im feeling REALLY indulgent ill spice max up with some lesbianism. hit him with the dyke beam

- ed usually isnt cis to me so whatever goes on there tends to switch up a lot. i dont try to name it i just focus on feeling it. when ed IS cis i think him being the token straight friend is pretty funny. like hes the really enthusiastic type but means well.

- RJ is similar to ed. sometimes i like them as a lesbian. sometimes i like them not interested in anyone. sometimes i like shipping them w ed. sometimes other ppl. theyre a really fun character to write actually

- jeff is gay but he doesn’t realize for a long long time. where everyone else is a bit more comfortable with themselves hes still got a lot of low self esteem and internalized stuff going on, not in a constantly sad way but like he’ll be the type to think ‘man i wish *I* could marry my best friend! too bad im straight haha’ or like when theyre teens he kisses cody and has a crisis over liking it before thinking ‘wait! what am i worrying about! codys gay, yeah, so maybe it meant something to him, but im not gay so that means i dont have anything to worry about. i should focus on supporting my good friend. its totally cool if he kisses me because im straight so its like a pass!’ he is wrong and he is gay

- whenever i write izjo its always bi. if anything their bisexuality makes a bigger spectacle out of how they like an opposing gender rather than liking their own which i always get a huge kick out of bc its as if i got so accustomed to being around gay people irl and online that sga became the norm and i had to remind myself that mf couples exist and its an option and its okay. there are a couple works ive never posted where this is actually like THE central theme

- im flipping the script…… of COURSE youre gay what are you TALKING about… what youre going to feel confused repressed nervous and weirdly guilty over is liking a BOY. or like yes son we know you like boys we live in mayview. but youve never liked a girl before and you dont know how to and it terrifies you. and then sometimes it has absolutely no significance at all and it’s just normal. again it depends on the themes and what i want to get out of my brain. that post thats like ‘no gay pairing written by a straight person will ever be as unhinged as a straight pairing written by a gay person’ etc. is it bc i want to write a casual+ comfortable gay existence bc ive seen so many bad u happy ones? is it bc i enjoy exploring societal dynamics by reframing them in the perceived norm? is it yuri? is it yuri.

6. When did they realize they loved each other?  

Eddie realized he was in love with Billy after making him laugh with a stupid joke. It’s a mix of Eddie loving entertaining and getting the exact reaction he wanted out of Billy, knowing he can make Billy look and sound like that when few people can, how beautiful he thinks Billy is when he’s genuinely smiling and laughing, and how he kinda wants to do this forever. 

Billy realized he was in love with Eddie while Eddie was in the middle of ranting about something nerdy, getting all fired up and gesticulating dramatically about something Billy doesn’t give a shit about, but he’s still listening carefully because he loves watching Eddie move around, listening to him run his mouth non-stop, how passionate he gets about the things he loves, and those are all things that tend to annoy the shit out of Billy with anyone else, so maybe the explanation is simply that he’s in love with the guy.

I like to think that Eddie’s the first one who realized he was in love with Billy, whether they’re together or not at the time, so he’s a few steps ahead when it comes to accepting it and working up the courage to say it. 

I also feel like he just Knows Billy loves him back, at some point. Obviously Billy doesn’t say anything, but it’s in the way he touches and looks at Eddie, it’s the small things he does for him, it’s the fact that Billy wouldn’t do a lot of things including allowing himself to be in a relationship with a man if he wasn’t head over heels for Eddie. 

I don’t think there’s a “oh” moment for Eddie where he realizes Billy loves him, it’s gradual, a steady thing he knows deep inside. 

As for when Billy realizes Eddie is in love with him… Well, Eddie has the tendency to say out loud whatever goes through his head when he’s getting a bit emotional or a lot into something, so. I think he’s very likely to just drop the L word out of nowhere. Like maybe they’re just chilling in Eddie’s bedroom and the light coming through the window hits Billy’s face just right and he’s all frowny and bitching about something but Eddie isn’t listening because he’s busy staring at the freckles on Billy’s face so he just. Says it.

Basically…

Billy: I need to take a loud shit, put some music on Eddie: I’m like, so in love with you

Or something like that. So that’s when Billy *truly* realizes his idiot boyfriend loves him too, because he had a feeling, you know, Eddie kinda shows him every day, but hearing it is what truly cements it, even if Eddie really has the worst timing—then again, a very ill-timed love confession is just so Eddie, Billy can’t really be too mad about it. 

39. What other couple would your otp get along with the best?

If we’re going with canon couples… I think Max and Lucas, eventually, but that’s only because there are no other canon couples they’d have any reason to spend time with, much less get along with. 

Like, I’m sorry, but I don’t see Eddie or Billy ever getting along with Nancy, so that’s a no for Nancy/Jonathan. I don’t think Eddie is a big fan of Mike, and Billy would definitely have a soft spot for El, but “she needs to dump the Wheeler Rat”. Eddie definitely adores Dustin, but Billy can only stand very, very small doses before he wants to strangle the kid, and with Suzie in Utah… anyway they definitely wouldn’t get along with her either.

It’s not like we have other canon couples close to their age, because Robin and whatshername—Vickie aren’t really a thing yet (and also 🙄) and even if they were, I just don’t see it.

So, yeah, Max and Lucas, it’s just in the sake of maintaining peace at first, but I’d like to think it could become a lot more genuine through the years.

Now fanon couple, there’s only one I see them really getting along with and that’s Jonathan and Argyle. Argyle is chill and funny, he’s a calming presence for Billy, he’s just effortlessly kind and accepting and very good at defusing a situation, so it’s basically impossible to get mad at the guy, even when Billy is in A Mood. It’s kind of dangerous to leave Argyle and Eddie alone though, because they always seem to have the best (worst) ideas together. 

It’s also very dangerous to let Eddie and Jonathan talk music, because they will argue constantly. Jonathan is a pretty chill dude until you start shit with the people he loves or put him in the same room with Eddie Munson. It’s friendly and teasing at first, and then there’s yelling and it’s time for Billy and Argyle to intervene before it gets ugly.

Billy likes Jonathan, because the guy doesn’t look like much, but there is a fire inside him. It’s hard to get him angry but he can be a total bitch and it amuses Billy a lot. Also they don’t talk about it, but hey, team shitty dads! 

Anyway, yeah, I think the four of them would be very fun to put in a room together and study.
