Hello Mark, one birthday trivia please!
Any development/design tibits on my favourite creature type? The minoaturs. Cause they dont really seem to show up a lot.
Minotaurs we’re in Homelands because of the perceived popularity of Hurloon Minotaur. Interestingly, market research would later show the players weren’t that fond of the card, they just liked the art (a beautiful piece by Anson Maddocks).

PbtA23 move-a-day continues.
Minotaur Marketing
When you present a plan of your carefully crafted labyrinth to a board of fellow minotaurs, seeking honest advice on how it might or might not entice a future mate while you wait at its center, describe up to three features of your maze. The board votes on whether they approve each feature or not. Then roll +features approved.
On a 10+, your maze is approved. The board will help you with construction. One of them may elect to fall in love with you, although they’ll keep it a secret until your maze is complete and they find you waiting seductively inside.
On a 7-9, your maze is approved but with a single caveat. You must change one of the features, which will likely involve a great quest. One of the board may elect to fall in love with you; if they do, another board member is jealous and will seek to undermine your quest.
On a 6-, you must return to the drawing board. One of the board members may elect to become your enemy, and they begin construction on a maze that steals the finest ideas of your original pitch.

Shanodin Dryads
Moving without sound, swift figures pass through branches and undergrowth completely unhindered. One with the trees around them, the Dryads of Shanodin Forest are seen only when they wish to be.

Sorcery ~~~ 2BB
As an additional cost to cast this spell, sacrifice a creature.
Gain control of target nonartifact, nonblack creature.
“Rumors persist of dark deeds performed in the depths of Soldev. When will Dagsson heed the danger therein?”
—Sorine Relicbane, Soldevi Heretic

---------------------------
Why was this card put on the Reserved List? This would be such a good card to have reprinted. The only thing close to this is the black sorcery, "New Blood", which costs the same, does almost the same, but requires vampires. Ggrrr...

Lately I've been pretty much obsesed with AI generated art.
One of the things I try to do when testing a new model (in this case Dreamshaper XL (derived from SDXL turbo), is try to replicate art that I like from Magic: the Gathering cards to make new "fixed" cards; in this case Fallen Angel with art from Anson Maddocks. The model is fantastic and blazingly fast. I got so much cool art that I created several copies of the card I designed, and turn the mechanics of the card to a design inspired by Legion Angel.

It’s my birthday, and also my first time asking trivia! Could I get any trivia on the design for slivers? Why do they look like they do?
Tempest had the very first in-house worldbuilding team, including a number of artists (including Mark Tedin and Anson Maddocks) and they were tasked with coming up with the look for the Slivers. The one constraint was it had to be a creature that could grow body parts as they're shapechangers that gain abilities by learning how to form new body parts through their hive mind. That look is what they came up with.
Happy Birthday!
