I was thinking about expanding the anarchy spring au and remembered how I wanted to incorporate spring's relationship with Jara. Coyle comes off as the kind of person who doesn't believe in love (most likely due to failed relations in the past) and I thought maybe it would show through in her technology. The mask spring is given separates his emotional relationship with the world from his physical relation to it. But since he's got such a big heart, it's difficult to tuck the passion of love away, even for a super genius. Spring still shows himself publicly during his captivity to Coyle, but conceals his identity which is open to inevitable interaction with Jara. I definitely want to set things up between the two, and since spring is in his detached state, there's a lot of room to show how strong his feelings are for the green boi. -As well as a temporary failure of the mask keeping him from showing emotion
