omg what album/song do u think would be rory's fave
I think she’d probably be a folklore (and evermore since they’re a pair) fan first and foremost because lyrically it’s one of her best and it doesn’t fall into generic pop but I think she’d also LOVE speak now, especially since taylor wrote it all on her own. rep she loves lyrically even if she isn’t a huge pop girl. she’d probably also like red since it fits her vibes n all but that one she might relate to just a little too much yk
song wise… that’s a little harder but the best day would definitely have a special space in her heart <3 I think she would like all too well a lot too and rightfully see it as her best. cornelia street, blank space, and the last great american dynasty are ones she finds really fun, she likes the lakes a lot, and she can’t lie, she has a thing for our song. never grow up makes her a lil sad but she still loves it, same with innocent.
I feel like also some she’d relate to a little too much to listen to them on the reg (white horse, red, all you had to do was stay, clean, that sort of thing). but there are definitely some that she relates to just the right amount so that she’s very fond of them: wanegbt, I knew you were trouble, picture to burn, etc. she’s a swiftie at heart I just know it <3

A Swingin’ Success, at 2 Years of Age
Good Day!
Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated the 2nd Anniversary of Hostel Fish with us! Our “Bringing Back the Brothel” party was a great success! The place was definitely hoppin’ with hoodlums, and swimming in hooch and flappers, many of whom were showing themselves off in sexy and swanky style. Plenty of friends and familiar faces mingled within the crowd (*shout out to our school of Fish reg’s and past coworkers!*), which made the evening especially fun and festive. While two lovely ladies kept the crowd pleased and entertained (in burlesque fashion, of course), the juice-joint fired out libations in rapid fashion. And of course the juke was a’jumpin’, while everyone was swingin’...
A proper party is imperative every now and again as a reward for all of the hard work, and to celebrate the progress made. I have worked at Hostel Fish for over a year and a half now, and have seen many changes take place. Most notably, concerning the revolving door of employees. Some have stayed and worked only a couple of weeks, others months, and a few of us, over a year. No matter the duration, everyone who has worked here has made their impression on the place in some way, and helped mold the culture that is Hostel Fish. I particularly enjoy the camaraderie among the current cast of Guardian[s] Of The Hostel. (GOTH’s)
All in all, the efficiency and productivity of Hostel Fish has been much refined during my time here. We’ve hammered out what the most ideal policies and procedures are, wrestled with weird and unique situations, learned how best to balance work life and play, and ultimately, grown into a company that is firing on all cylinders.
We are not only a business and establishment on the constant upswing, we are also a flourishing idea. The lodging and travel industries are rapidly changing, as are the times. People are becoming more conscientious, and evermore fed up with a number of “normalcies,” such as the expense of conventional accommodations. The average person is growing tired of paying $150-$250 for a single nights’ shelter. (To simply hole themselves away and go to sleep, mind you.) The alternative, of course, is to pay significantly less money, be in the heart of the city, and exercise that social bone a bit more. You never know when you’ll meet a beautiful foreigner and hit it off, or when a stranger will become a good friend through the perpetual merrymaking. (Not to say people can’t still find private time for rest, or work, or study.) The swift increase in hostel popularity is certainly observable across the United States. People are growing more bold and adventurous, and hostels are becoming nicer and more readily available. People who are on the IN generally have a much more fulfilling experience, overall. (Forget that damn movie!)
There are many plans in the works, and soon enough Hostel Fish will occupy many other locations on the map. Thank you to everyone who has overtly, and inadvertently, helped us grow. The love was definitely felt the other night as we turned 2 years old!!!
While it’s essential to periodically mark how far we’ve come, comfortability is death to the spirit, and we certainly can’t settle. I’m excited to see the progress that will be made during this ensuing next year of operation.
Cheers!
From myself, and the rest of the staff at Hostel Fish.
