What if I told you, that the AU was inadvertently inspired by your fic ?

Okay so, you know how you wrote abt the twins never having met their father, that got me thinking abt him. Like yeah, we've heard of his mother but what about his father ?

Ever since then, the idea of him trying to find his father has been baking in the back of my mind

Ik it was kind of a given that they don't know his father (and I think it was mentioned in a song or smth) but idk reading that bit from your fic was like a catalyst for the ideas™️

How did you come up with your AU idea ? The way the canon character roles translated into the AU was very interesting to me

the fact cozmez has never met their father is actually canon (as you said) and tbh... i also wonder if at one point they'll start searching for him or something like that. so i'm glad you'll try to cover this part!! i can't wait to see what you have in mind :3

what inspired me to write my fic... well, i think the imagery that surrounds cozmez gave me the idea? yk, the fact they look so soft and... ethereal... they kinda look like angels to me, so that's one point. second, the "sin" is inspired by the snake earrings of course (and in the catholic religion the snake is what caused the original sin).

yk what else caused the original sin? the apple.

another thing that gave me the idea that kanata would've been the "official sinner" (while nayuta died as a "pure" angel) is that in the official short stories he always says that he's not a good boy (i remember one time he said "santa probably came cause nayuta has been a good boy" 🥹), cause he was doing dirty jobs yk.

Bakugo Katsuki 

this all probably started with an offhand comment about who is the better baker between the two of you, and ofc someone got competitive about it 

seriously, Bakugo doesn’t know how to translate his feelings and he thinks this is the way to go about it; will be the one to challenge you 

makes you set up rules; you can make anything so long as it’s in a the allotted time frame, you have to make things from scratch because otherwise that’s cheating, and so on and so forth 

dude literally wants a fair game like he’s gonna win a prize or something 

about has a heart attack when he sees you in your cute apron and ready to cook! 

soon as things get started, he’s getting distracted by your cute self; damn you

curses himself every time you distract him; but it gets worse when he catches onto the cute things you do when baking; like when you hum your favorite song when mixing 

he ends up making a mess on his side of the kitchen because he wasn’t paying the best of attention to what he was doing 

when he notices you’re ahead of him, he has to catch up because he’s not going to lose to you, forgetting it isn’t a race 

he doesn’t even know what to do with himself, he’s ultimately realized this was a mistake because he forgot to put one of the most important ingredients in and now it’s not going to be right; he’s not going to admit that though 

thinks this was your plan all along and gets grumpy about it 

finished his dessert knowing it’s wrong but makes it look nice to hopefully cover up the fact; it’s not like the judge will know, it’s just Kaminari 

on the other hand, you have an absolutely amazing desert lined up and all Bakugo can do is kind of gawk at you while you put the finishing touches on 

presenting Kaminari with your baked goods, he’s happy and eager to dig in; Bakugo glares the entire time even though he thinks he has an edge since his gets tasted first; however, soon as Kami gets a taste of yours, everyone knows it’s over 

you won but not because you’re better than him, he swears, Kami just doesn’t know what he talking about 

but as soon as the two of you exchange desserts, you know what he messed up on; he hates you for calling him out on it but loves you for knowing your stuff 

he’s left blushy and grumpy, happy to have spent this time with you 

Kirishima Eijiro 

this one probably started because you guys were watching cooking shows and got hungry for something sweet; the added bonus being one of you wanted to make it “even more fun” and turned it into a friendly competition 

Kirishima has no idea what he’s doing, where he’s going with this, but as soon as he has an idea, he rolls with it 

occasionally watches you and blushes when you catch him; he can’t help it, you’re cute and sweet and you may have a smudge of flour on your cheek 

he’s halfway through mixing when you notice this and whip around to accuse him of not telling you; you throw some flour at him as payback 

he is astonished and a little shocked at first, but quickly recovers by flicking his whisk at you; making you laugh and scream 

you retaliate with jam and thus starts the kitchen war 

there’s more ingredients on you than there is in any bowls, pans, or cups 

when there’s nothing really left to throw at each other, instead of cleaning, you finish your little competition and throw everything in the oven 

you two clean up the mess while you wait, laughing about it the entire time with some tune; expect a sing-along dance break as well 

this competition has derailed itself so much but that’s okay, you two are having so much fun 

your judge Mina is very impatient, though, and comes around to ask when she can eat; you guys laugh at her expression when she sees how messy you guys are 

you two get cleaned up in the sink as best you can before the timer dings and you have to open up the oven 

Kirishima knows his dish isn’t as good as yours, but dammit he’s given it his all! 

probably doesn’t have the best design skills and tries to copy something he saw on tv; it’s very cute and he’s a little blushy over it 

awes at what you’ve made and compliments you on it; it looks immaculate in his opinion 

serving Mina is like serving a child, she’s so excited, she’s bouncing in her seat; she is happy with both dishes and can’t choose, but she nearly eats it all and the two of you have to fight her for the rest of it so you two can at least have some for yourselves 

the two of you laugh about it all and get all blushy from how much fun you’ve had; you two definitely have to do this again
