Do you ever consume media so good that the end of a season feels like a funeral to you?

Ascended Astarion appeals to me as a horror/tragedy enjoyer. On the one hand, you get the tragedy of feeling like it’s too late to pull him back from the ledge, but also there’s this really ominous, tense feeling that the worst is yet to come, like he hasn’t hit the bottom yet.
The way Spawn Astarion breaks down in great, heaving sobs after killing Cazador — it’s painful and ugly, but it feels good. It’s cathartic, it’s a release of tension, it’s his first step towards letting go and starting his healing journey.
In the ascended route, the tension just keeps on building. AA doesn’t allow himself that moment of vulnerability, he just pushes the pain and fear down ever further, thinking he can keep it bottled up forever, but it’s only going to keep building and building.
And I’m the little freak who really really wants to be there to see how much harder he breaks when he finally hits the ground.

Hi, just wanted to say that you post sometimes about how important it is just to go to things sometimes and socialise. One of your posts inspired me to join the meetup website and since then I've been to 3 groups and had a really nice time and talked to some potential new friends! I moved to a new city a few years back and never really made friends and now I feel really pleased to be getting out there so thank you!
I don't know why this particular lesson took me so long to learn (or why I have to keep learning it, over and over again) but the simple act of forcing yourself out of your space to do things really does make an appreciable difference. Life gets richer and deeper the more you engage with it, and you will never, ever know if you stay inside the four walls of your apartment and wait for it to come to you.

Fine I’ll say it, I think Feyre being the first High Lady would have been a lot more impactful if Rhys didn’t give her that position of power. If the land choses the high lord or lady then why not have a story where the land chooses Feyre? Therefore it comes from her own power and not a man gifting power and influence to her.

Do you ever think that maybe Gabriel dying could be a canon event ?? What if he's supposed to die in every universe ? Just like how Emilie dying is reoccurring event in each one.
We obviously don't know about the movie universe since the other part is still yet to come. But just think about Gabriel dying in the Paris special universe. Well, since the Gabriel in that universe is good and doesn't want to bring Emelie back. So, obviously his death won't be due to a wish. The only way I can think that he might die is maybe he was ultimately caught by the The Supreme and had to face his fatal fate ?? Im just bluffing im sorry but when I had this thought I just had to type this out for some reason.
EDIT : I JUST FOUND OUT THROUGH THE DELETED STORYBOARDS THAT GABRIEL WAS SUPPOSED TO DIE IN THE END OF THE MIRACULOUS MOVIE .WHAT-

i have an issue I see with ppl trying to make shippers "understand" their ship could not become canon, and I dont think many would expect it.
Why are we pretending being in your late 30s is being middle age? Dont get me wrong, being a middle aged person doesn't have to mean anything about someone, but its just- not middle age literally.
I dont really understand bringing that up anyways, iit feels wrong to me to believe just ppl in their teens and 20s could ever do anything pro LGBT+ in general... I find it insulting, as if this is a new thing or impossible to believe older people could believe in queerness in a positive light or be queer themselves. The main reason in the west, and im assuming other parts of the world, there arent as many or as visible is, well, because people were dying because of the AIDS crisis + the isolation from being older and every single public space made for or just young queers or cishet older adults.
I get the point, but if I remember correctly every time I see someone trying to do that (of course im believing they have the best intentions in mind), they have to bring up how this is a Japanese middle aged man as a good enough reason.
I don't really mind about what others want to believe or how much they care in terms of shipping -if you prefer to be casual and not paying that much attention to what's canon or not, good for you! Many ppl are also like that and its completely valid, here in this side of Tumblr might seem like all of us believe and theorize about their endgame potential bc we are the ones that usually make more posts or longer content. But I dont like those assumptions about queerness being tied to young westerners, and I wanted to rant a little bit.
Again, I dont believe that was the intention in any of those posts, and im not trying to call out anyone, just rant.
