I think the worst part of having a wip that’s been ongoing for like 6 years is that even with some periodic edits you can see how much my writing has changed/improved over time. that alone is motivation to maybe get bigger chunks of fic done in future before I start posting 🤣

This is from chapter 2 of my upcoming Bored Accountant Baoxiang fic (the full story will be 3 chapters in total)

Ayushiridara stepped into the balcony and right into Baoxiang’s personal space.

Baoxiang rolled his eyes. He turned around to face Ayushiridara, blowing smoke in his face. As Ayushiridara was coughing, Baoxiang fished out the phone from Ayushiridara’s pocket.

It was one of those ridiculously large phones with a shiny, dark grey metal surface. As Ayushiridara kept complaining, Baoxiang put in his phone number and took a selfie to save with his contact info.

Finished with his task, Baoxiang turned around and slipped the phone back to Ayushiridara’s breast pocket.

“Message me,” he said, patting the breast of Ayushiridara’s jacket.

Ayushiridara was left standing stupefied, as Baoxiang stumped his cigarette and left the smoking area.

Baoxiang had barely gotten back to his desk, when he received a message from a number he had not saved. It was a dick pic, and he did not have to guess who had sent it.

Baoxiang texted back:

My new idog dance (Blinkie) with Plum (purple) and Bix (white)! The dance is super cool and works really well, I’m excited to test how well it can hear music when not plugged into an aux :O

Fun fact all 3 of my idogs first songs played were lemon demon, started with Plum bc I thought two trucks would be objectively one of the funniest things to play on an idog but it’s turned into a tradition at this point (Bix’s was cabinet man and Blinkies was the only house that’s not on fire yet)
