Not for nothing, the representation of Porsche’s bisexuality means a lot to me as a bi person who didn’t figure out my identity until my early 20s. The journey that he goes through in the first half of the show, from a presumed straight man to a bisexual man in love with another man, is written and acted with so much empathy and grace. Porsche’s feelings about his identity and presentation of self are allowed to be confused, hesitant, and complicated without him being homophobic or misogynistic. The result is a more subtle arc of self-discovery, but such an important one. Porsche may not have deep-rooted internal prejudices but he still exists within oppressive structures that shape all our lives whether we want them to or not. Even though he doesn’t deny or dislike his feelings for Kinn, he does quietly struggle sometimes with the discomfort of being queer in a world that sees queer as “other.”

I think part of why this hits so hard is Apo himself. Now I don’t really follow the actors very closely and I try hard to separate the art from the artist, so I don’t want to place too much weight on this. But I do think Apo really brings a particular level of empathy and nuance to Porsche’s identity that deserves appreciation. Apo has spoken a number of times about how much he struggled with homophobic treatment in the Thai film/TV industry through the course of his career. He was often asked invasive questions about his sexuality, made fun of for the way he dresses and presents himself, and demeaned for being feminine or not masculine enough. It seems to have been a key factor in his decision to leave the industry (and even Thailand) entirely.

To be clear, he’s never made any public statement about his sexuality or gender identity, and it’s no one’s business to presume or ask about how he identifies. The problem was that, regardless of how he actually identified, homophobia had a big impact on him personally and professionally. Homophobia (along with all other forms of hate and violence) doesn’t hurt just queer people—it hurts everyone, because it confines and regulates people’s lives/bodies, and punishes deviations, big and small, from the norm.

Apo has some pretty incredible gender vibes to be honest. Something about his mannerisms, his face, his fashion choices, his presentation, just strikes keen envy in my nonbinary bisexual heart lol. And he brings that nuance into Porsche’s character so beautifully. Porsche gets to be tender as he is tough, someone who cares for his loved ones and shows affection without being demeaned for it. He’s allowed to be this strong, tall, muscular guy without it being prescriptive of his internal feelings and personality and how he presents in his voice and mannerisms. No one (least of all him) is policing his body and gender in the way queer people, particularly queer men, so often deal with. He gets to just be.

The freedom in that, for me at least, feels like a revelation. I feel loved when I watch Porsche, because his journey as a bisexual man isn’t rooted in his own repression or external prejudice. Even when he identified as straight, he didn’t behave or present in a way that was engineered to convey heterosexuality or even masculinity. He was already comfortable in his skin, and figuring out his sexuality was more of an internal journey than one centered on his body and how the world perceives it.

Obviously there’s nothing wrong with identity crises/questions/discoveries that do involve repression or homophobia (mine certainly does, thanks Catholic school 🙃). But I think it’s really neat that Porsche’s arc doesn’t, because it brings up questions that often get buried under the avalanche of homophobic/misogynistic/transphobic shit that unfortunately we so often have to wade through to come to our own queer identities. And that’s why I mentioned Apo’s experience, because I really think that as someone who’s had such a hard time in the industry in the past—precisely because he does step outside rigid gender norms—he really gets how homophobia shapes a person’s understanding of their own body. And consciously or unconsciously, he created in Porsche a character who could be free, for fucking once, of that heavy weight around his neck.

So basically, I hope he knows how much that means to a lot of people, not just me. And I hope that playing Porsche has given him some amount of comfort or healing or validation. He gave homophobia and misogyny a massive middle finger through this character, and I hope that and his continued outspokenness about his experience make everyone think twice before policing people’s gender and bodies.

This guy doesn't hesitate for a second, he's got you covered with the umbrella, most (if not all) of it.

"I don't want you getting sick," he says while holding the umbrella.

He's so tall he doesn't need to raise it any higher than necessary, and you keep pushing it toward the center so each of you gets at least a little covered.

He might pretend he's covered, but his shoulder is getting terribly soaked.

He's thinking about the shape-shift, imagining what it would be like if you had a canary on your shoulder while walking in the dry, safe rain.

But in the end, he obeys you. He takes your hand and tries to cover both of you (because he thought he might get sick, then you'd want to help him, and he doesn't want to bother you).

Once the umbrella is fully open, he figures out the best way for both of you to be covered, always putting you first in his mind.

He moves you in front of him, but he can see you might trip.

He considers just covering you, but he knows you'd both end up fighting and getting wet anyway.

So, he wraps his arm around your waist to pull you closer. Now, you're both under the umbrella, dry.

He smiles at you and takes advantage of the closeness to kiss your cheek and your knuckles.

“let me, my love” he says soflty if you try to help him with the umbrella.

He's the type to hold your hand and tuck it into his jacket to keep you warm.

Another thing he could do is control the air so the umbrella holds itself up and you can walk together even more comfortably.

He presses a button on the umbrella's handle and it expands even more, Hurray! You're both covered.

As you continue walking on the sidewalk, Leo looks at other couples in similar positions, only much closer, cuddling and lovingly playing around, while the umbrella with the improvements he invented works so well that you even walk a bit away from him.

If a child of Hephaestus can fix something, they can also break it, so he presses the button too hard, for breaking it. The extra space is gone.

"What happened?" you ask confused, some drops start to wet your hair, and Leo smiles seeing how beautiful the dew looks on you,

he just shrugs "I don't know, I guess it doesn't work anymore" he says uninterestedly, and he pulls you to him impatiently,

definitely using some of his warmth so you don't get cold.

He adjusts himself, hugs you, and you walk together.

But that's because he can control his waterproofing. If Percy Jackson doesn't want to get wet, he won't, but you're not him.

"Don't worry, babe," he says with a confident smile as you cover yourself with your hand from the increasingly heavy rain.

He bites his lips and looks above you, now the rain avoids you both, and you're no longer getting wet.

He winks at you, and you hug him sideways. Let the mist take care of what others see, and he leans in for a kiss. You give it to him.

suddenly feeling the drops hitting your hair again. For a few seconds, neither of you cares, and he hugs you, prolonging the kiss.

A kiss in the rain.

When the water trickles down your noses and you can taste some of those drops, you break apart with a giggle.

"Oops," he says, and he focuses again to keep you both rain-free.

Though you run to get home as soon as possible because for Percy, it's hard not to want to stop and kiss and cuddle you.

He's a god, and the god of the Sun. He could literally make a few calls to get rid of that silly rain bothering his beloved.

But oh no, Apollo lives for the drama, for love, it's for the feelings he exist, so he conjures up an umbrella and covers you.

Apollo will definitely sing "Singing in the Rain" while dragging you along and giving you gentle spins.

For him, it's such a mundane moment, but because he's with you, he wants to turn it into the greatest musical ever told, because it's for the two of you and for him, it's better.

He takes your hand and swings it with great humor.

He's literally a sun walking on the streets full of people grumpy because of the bad weather and a gray, cloudy landscape.

When he sees you smile and chuckle, his spirit overflows with joy, and unintentionally, the sun appears among those clouds, and the rainbow makes a nice trio in the sky.

He gives you a peck on the lips when you raise your eyebrows at his mischief.

"I can't help it," he says with a smile and links your arm with his to continue the walk.

It was rare for you to summon him- As his wife he was used to you being one to not speak with him much. In the past you'd been a chatterbox much to his annoyance, but greatful you had quieted down over the coming years. However when the Transponder Snail on his desk informed him that you'd requested him he was surprised if not mildly intrigued.

Marching down the hallway to you as you saw you, dressed like you were preparing to go outside and eating a fine charcuterie board and sipping on one of his best bottles of wine- much to his ire.

You look up from your glass of wine. Seeing Mihawk step into the room with a bottle of his own drink of choice- Silence filling the room as he looked you over.

"You wished for me wife?" He questioned with his usual stoic manner.

"Another letter- This time a women from East Blue, it's a girl" You say blandly, Tossing the letter on the table as you set down your glass. He didn't seem amused by this, only giving a annoyed sigh and stepping forward prepared to grab the letter however you slammed a manilla envelope on top of the letter before he grabbed it. Yellow eyes looked at you annoyed-

"What is this?-"

He grumbled, you waving off his question for him to just open it. Grabbing the manilla envelope he proceeded to open it, His eyes widening at the stack of papers inside and seeing in bold letters what was written on top. Divorce Decree-

"(Y/N) What is the meaning of this" He hissed and tossed the envelope back down on the table, You pouring yourself another glass of wine.

"Divorce papers, I've already taken the liberty of filling my name on it already" He picked them up again to look for himself- seeing you had indeed signed all the papers already.

You stayed calmly, his face swirling with emotions as he held the papers with a tightened grasp. Clearly anger bubbling below the surface.

"This seems like a extreme reaction to a small issue" He stated calmly, You raising a brow at his statement as you sipped your drink and ate some more of the charcuterie board you'd laid out for yourself.

"Is it?" You question, eating some more till Mihawk reached over and slid the board away from you to stop eating as he stared hard at you- your hands quick to grab your wine glass too before he took that.

"This is a one time thing, it was a drunken-"

"87" You said calmly, drinking down your final glass of wine. He looked at you in question.

"Pardon?-"

"This is your 87th child with a stranger. 48 boys, 39 girls- 25 in the East Blue, 21 in the west, 30 in the North and 11 throughout the Grandline" You recited calmly, his face going to one of shock at hearing your words so blandly spoken or that you knew to the agree of unfaithful he was.

"So what was that about this being the final one?" You ask, standing from your chair to knock the crumbs off your outfit.

"It is natural in wanting to spend time with someone who can provide-" He stated as he watched you prepare to leave.

"Well then its natural that I want a divorce, it's not MY fault that you can't go a few days without fucking some stranger or that you seem to like to like to get every person you meet pregnant" You hissed, Mihawk glaring at you.

"And It is not my fault you are barren- So dont blame me that I spread my legacy elsewhere" He shot back, His words like that final knife to your heart as you stood in the doorway. Mihawk regretted those words the moment they left him, sighing as he rubbed his temple his lips feeling like fire for saying such a thing.

"That.. isnt what I ment I apo-"

"Dont- You're right it's not your fault... just how it's not my fault you're a cheater bastard. We are done Mihawk. My stuff has already been packed and sent away, I will he out of here by tonight" You stated calmly and leaving your library one last time-

"(Y/N)! This is utterly childish and ridiculous" He angrily yelled as he followed you down the hallway. You just grabbing the last suitcase you had set by your former bedroom door.

He grabbed your wrist suddently to stop you from stepping further but you spun around and smacked him hard. The wedding ring still on your hand slicing him across the cheek, as he quickly released your wrist to touch the bloody cut.

You slid off the ring, ignoring the tinge of his blood in it and slammed it into his free hand.

"You will never touch me again-" You all but hiss, disgust dripping from your lips like a venom that shot through his vains.

"(Y/N) it is ignorant to give up an entire relationship for a character flaw- I've been a good husband in other regards" You couldn't help but snort a laugh at this-

"You a good husband? Please tell me, when is my birthday? When was the last time we had sex? Last time you kissed me, Hell last time you even uttered the words I love you? Oh here's a good one when did we get married?" You ask him, He opened his mouth but he couldn't think of an answer to any of those- You smiled sarcastically.

"I thought so... By the way, Our wedding anniversary is today"

His heart sank.. was it really?... he relooked at the divorce papers to see the date of Marriage and he felt a burn of guilt in his chest at the sight- indeed it was today.. 20 years to the day.

He opened his lips to try and conjoure up words to wipe away his actions but he couldnt.. instead looking to your eyes and that's when it hit him- He was no better then a stranger to you seeing the indifference in your gaze at him- Not angry, not sad but just.. indifferent like he was just another person to you.

Sensing that he now understood the true gravity of this all you nod, Grabbing your coat from the rack and slipping it on and set down your copy of the keys to the manor on the side table.

"...You have a wonderful rest of your life Mr. Dracule" You say sternly before walking out of the manor, the Warlord only standing there in a state of shock as his world suddently got so much darker.

I know this post is only for like two people, but I’m going to make it anyway. So, my obsession with Dead Friend Forever finally reached critical levels and I resorted to binge-watching The Hidden Character just to get more content. For those that don’t know, The Hidden Character (which they literally call “THC”) was the reality show Be On Cloud used to cast DFF. It is bad. Like really bad. And not in a it’s-so-bad-it’s-good-type way. It’s one of the most exploitative pieces of media I have ever watched. I walked into it with a favorable view of BOC, Mile, Apo, and Pond (the CEO), and walked out of it hating all of them.

A small collection of things that happened over the 11-episode run:

Everyone was told that they had to share every single aspect of their life with the viewers or they would be eliminated. And, in fact, the first person eliminated was told that it was because he wasn’t being open enough with the audience. They filmed these boys—one of whom was only seventeen at the time—talking explicitly about their sex lives. Which is, of course, fine to talk about. It’s not fine to air it on television! Even some of the games themselves contained sexually suggestive content (i.e. Which do you prefer "eating" with—your hands or your mouth? If you were to cheat on your significant other, would it be just sex or a full-blown affair?)

During the first part of the show, everyone had a secret that the other players were supposed to guess. One of the player’s secret was that he used to be homophobic. (Questionable casting for a company that only hires men, but I digress). He was praised for having changed his mind. In contrast, JJay’s secret was that he was raised in an abusive household and had once hit his father. Pond crucified the poor guy for this. He made him sit there in front of the whole cast sobbing and apologize for hitting his dad who was an abusive asshole.

After the first half of the show—which served absolutely no purpose at all—we finally move onto the acting portion. This is, after all, supposed to be a talent competition. The judges were so mean. Especially Apo. He was like the Simon Cowell of BOC. There was no constructive component to their criticism. The fact that any of these people are still acting is honestly unbelievable. I would have gone home and cried myself to sleep and then never stepped foot on a stage again.

At one point, each of the groups was assigned a scene from KinnPorsche to act out (because BOC very clearly owns no other IP). One of the pairs was given the scene where Porsche gives Kinn a handjob in the bathroom. I wish I was kidding. 

The judges constantly told the contestants to make their scenes feel new and different but any time the actors actually tried to change anything, they complained it was “too” different and the original script was already perfect so who were they to think they could create something better. Once again, Apo and Mile, the original actors of these scenes, are the ones judging them! Like of course they like their version better. What is even happening??

And finally, the whole fucking thing was rigged for Ta to win. Like don’t get me wrong, I love Ta and I think he did a great job, but he was the only one who came into that competition with a built-in fanbase and the winner was chosen by popular vote.

It was all just…baffling. Especially from a company that claims to be trying to change the industry. Like if you want the industry to stop being so exploitative to its actors, maybe start with yourself? It also makes those condescending “how dare you watch our shows just for the NC scenes” press releases they do every week even more annoying.

I have no clue what the reaction to this show was while it was airing but god I hope they never do it again. It literally makes me feel so weird watching DFF now. I feel like those poor kids are being held hostage. Maybe CEO Pond’s been the one under the mask the whole time 🔪

He wakes up in a cold sweat, hands fisting into the satin sheets. Alone, yet again. He exhales, running a hand over his face; he registers that it is cold and clammy, even more so than the usual.

A quick moment to slip on his bathrobe and he leaves the room, meandering through large, empty hallways and tomblike rooms that just further remind him how lonely he is.

Can’t live like this, he thinks.

Desperate nighttime thoughts, brought on by endless nightmares that have just seemed to crop up in her absence. Punishment? A cruel joke by the gods?

Who knows? Who cares? All he knows is he’s fucked.

The next day, the Ascendant stands before an old crone.

“Simulacrum,” he says, tapping the scroll she had laid down on the table. “Do you think I can use this?”

The old vendor, who had been summoned here by a frankly confusing flurry of servants in a garishly decorated black and gold carriage, frowns.

“You would require the person to be within touching range, Saer. I apo-”

The smashing of a goblet against a nearby wall makes her flinch. She sneaks a look at her host and sees the man’s chest heaving, his unnervingly crimson eyes wide with something akin to anger-

No, not anger. The man is despondent.

“I see.” Her host’s voice is clipped; the man takes a deep breath, and the next words are somewhat calmer. “Anything else you can offer, then? Any possible solution to this predicament?”

The old crone, unsure, rests her hands on the table, her rather grubby fingers staining the white tablecloth. She sees her host’s lip curl at the sight and quickly withdraws them.

“I may have one or two more ideas,” she offers. “They’re not the best, and it won’t be as good as a simulacrum. But it does fulfill some of… your needs, if not all.”

“Elaborate.” The man’s eyes bore into her.

She wants to just leave. This mansion feels wrong - too large, too silent, too cold. Why did she even agree to come here in that stupid carriage?

Coin, of course. They offered a lot of it.

She dithers for a moment more. “You can ask a hag-”

“No!”

Well. That’s not going to work then. She considers telling the man to sod off, that she’s done here and taking the coin his lackeys promised her if she’d come with them. But something in the man’s eyes tells her that would be unwise.

Wracking her brain, she comes up with one more solution.

“I do have this… automaton. Won it in a bet one time. It’s old, and can only really say a line or two, but-” She shrugs. “A quick spell of Seeming, perhaps, if you have a portrait of her somewhere. I can sell you the scroll.”

A crude method, one that will probably not produce anything close to the accuracy a simulacrum could achieve. But she can tell this man is desperate.

He considers this, and gives her a sharp nod. “I’ll take both.”

He’s in a spare storeroom, the things he needs to achieve this assembled before him: the automaton, programmed by the crone to say one sentence, the scroll of Seeming, and a painting.

The Hero of Baldur’s Gate.

He has it facedown on the table, refusing to look at it until he absolutely needs to.

The Ascendant casts the spell, reading it off the scroll he holds with trembling fingers.

Astarion opens his eyes to see something that looks like her at a cursory glance. A closer inspection reveals the inconsistencies - the way the face is shaped, the way the lips are positioned, among other, subtler things.

He thinks he can fool himself if he’s a fair distance away, and so he drags his chair a few meters back and sits, a goblet of wine still in his other hand. His eyes never leave the auto-

Ban. His eyes never leave Ban.

He should have drank more before this, he realizes, but it’s too late. He’s too sober, too lonely, and that thing looks enough like her that he feels something stir in his breast.

“Come back.” He tries it out, and finds it easy to speak the words he can’t say to the real Ban.

“I need you.” Not-Ban stares at him in silence.

“I love you.”

Ban seems to glare at him at these words, as if accusing him of lying.

“I’m not- I never meant to-“

Fuck. Fuck.

It’s not her, just a damned illusion, and yet he feels his heart crack. He sees the deep, bottomless chasm of his loneliness; a pain that seems to have no end and no way for him to ease.

He raises the now-empty goblet, aiming a hard, spiteful throw at the automation. The goblet, much like the others he’s thrown, shatters.

The hit activates it, and it speaks.

“Remember that I love you.”

It’s not even her voice; but it’s Not-Ban’s mouth that moves.

It’s enough, close enough to make his eyes sting and his breath catch.

It doesn’t matter that this isn’t her. That she won’t ever want to see him again, or hear what he wishes he could say.

He says it anyway, says it to the illusion in front of him, says everything he never got to.

He tells her he’s hurt, that he’s scared, and that all he wants is to be loved and why is that so fucking hard?

The sun rises; eight hours have passed. The spell breaks.

The Ascendant leaves the room, leaving a mess of shattered glass and scattered machine parts.

Though for equivalency sake i do have to mention that if Allen was the heart, i think Apocryphos would see Tyki say Allen couldn't be the heart and actually roll with it to protect the heart. so i don't think the fact Apo "confirms" Allen isn't the heart actually confirms anything, since on the contrary it's giving him an opportunity to protect the heart by agreeing.

I still think Allen isn't the heart, but Apocryphos's confirmation isn't actually one until we know for sure.

Man Suang is a pretty good and solid movie!

Ok, putting out there. I got involved in Thai drama due to Kinnporsche the Series, no I have no shame about it. It was fun, it had good looking dudes, and even though it initially seemed over the top in acting effort, the actors started to flow into their characters better and it was a fun show. Kinnporsche had amazing behind the sceens stuff that actually got me interested in the actors, especially Apo and Mile, who are freaking cute together. But all good things must end and so did the series.

But then there was a ray of hope! A glorious teaser was released.

Please note: Absolutely none of this teaser was in the movie, which I find both exasperating because I love every bit of it and the music, but also hilarious, because they caught your attention.

Please note pt. : All the BL lovers from Kinnporsche were salivating hard and if they said they weren't they're lying liars who lie.

So attention was given. And it took a long while, but then they released on official trailer at the Cannes Film Festival! Oh shnap, we got some extreme legitimacy here. This was not going to be cheap film, this was going to be quality. And all the BL lovers are still crying in anticipation at seeing their boys back together again.

Please note pt. 3: We still have NO idea what this movie is about. Just have the visual, which are gorgeous and a couple written lines teasing, but still no actual plotline. That's ok, the interest is still strong.

And one thing Be On Cloud does VERY well, is know how to advertise and keep people's interests. And it finally releases almost a year later. And lots of people cry. Not because it's a bad movie, but because there's no blatant BL storyline. There are hints, teases, looks, but that is not the main storyline. People are crying online, they've been deceived, there's no BL!

Please note pt. 4 (I'm having way to many please notes): Be On Cloud NEVER said it was BL. It was inferred since both Apo and Mile were pared in a movie together and the fact that Bo On Cloud only had the one series with mega BL plotlines.

The only reviews I could read (In English, which is all I read. I know, I should try other languages but I legit have tried 4 languages and I just can't) mostly complained about the lack of BL storyline and that it was slow at times. No synopsis, no breakdowns. Full stop. I was sad. I kept checking on my tried and true Tumblr, which normally doesn't disappoint, but nada, bupkis. I was sad. Again. There was no release date I could find with English subtitles. Again, sadness ensued.

But finally, glory be, it was announced that Man Suang release on Netflix. Today. Yay! And after work I sat and watch it all, and here is my review...finally.

Man Suang is actually a pretty good movie. Most of my knowledge of Thai culture comes from BL shows, which helped a little but I did have to pause occasionally to look something up (the betal nuts for example) and I'm sure I missed a lot of things, but I got a pretty good understanding of everything. The pacing was a bit different from movies in the US, and that could be jarring, but I got used to it. Overall it was a good movie. I'd watch it again (which is a big deal for me, I watch once and then remind myself with fanfiction).

Thoughts (spoilers below):

Everyone was in a fucked up position. Except, Tiang, fuck him.

Khem: Sweetheart, just trying to take care of his friend. The finale probably fucked him up a bit. I like to consider Chatra comes back and gives him some comfort.

Please note (Please don't ask me what number this is): There's now going to be a BL series called Shine which is going to follow their relationship. See? Just had to be patient.

Chatra: Yeah, I'd be concerned if my father was a traitor and my whole family was going to pay for it. (On a side note: What is the Thai repercussions for that? Ancient China had death of the whole family for so many generations, but I'm not sure what they are in Siam.)

Wan: Baby...honey...that was fucked up. I get where you were coming from with your severe PTSD but trying to blow everyone up is not the answer. But I do hate that he felt betrayed by Khem.

Hong: Look at my sheltered little man turn into a Bossman! I see good things in his future.

All the aunties and women in the show: Couldn't have done it without you and I love seeing all of you. Especially auntie who put the mean boss in his place while trying to feed the two newcomers. (Boss: Don't flirt with my woman! Auntie: I flirt with who I want to, go sit in the corner until you're repentant! Boss: Yes, ma'am).

And finally: Absolutely gorgeous set design and costumes. Like, super wow. Loved it all! It was interesting to see the crossover of Thai and western design, like Chatra's suit and cravat top/traditional pants combo at the end. Jarring, but I imagine that time period was jarring with all the different influences happening as well. Much like the differences in hairstyles which helped you identify Chinese descent from Thai descent (using the Queue hairstyle instead of fully or partially grown out hair).

Overall, solid job on Man Suang, I recommend it to anyone who is interested in new cultures, pretty people, and just an interesting storyline.

I was thinking she could either live that van life so they use that, or she gives your character a handjob — whether he forces it on her or not is up to what you want and how we want to plot. If he’s a gentleman and offers to drive, maybe she teases him until eventually giving him roadhead. Things like that!

2) Siblings — TW: incest/🍪 | They can be full siblings or step — whichever you prefer! If I play the younger sister, I want it to be that her older brother came home from college to help house-sit and spend time with her as their parents are on vacation or a business trip. She’s be younger and hormonal, and this could lead to him taking advantage of that fact, or maybe she’s more bold and wanting to actively try and seduce her brother because she wants that relief. If I play an older sister, I want her to be very full-on with her younger brother. He’d just be reaching that age and interested, and she’s a relentless tease who is gonna push him until he breaks.

3) Babysitter — TW: 🍪 | Kinda like the one above, but without the incest parts. My girl has been hired as a babysitter to your younger male character. While it’s mainly just to make sure he’s getting food and doing his homework as his parents are gone for the week, she notices he has another problem she can solve. I can play her as more innocent or more forward, but was looking to write her as the instigator.

4) Milk — TW: possible 🍪 | My character is a brand-new single mom who overproduces a lot of milk. It’s really painful for her, and she’s tried to find other ways to take care of it. In this, she hires your character as a babysitter for a few hours so she can tend to the house/job/other chores (so she’ll still be at home with the baby, but just be able to concentrate on those things more), and somehow, whether your character is younger and out of curiosity asks, or if you want to play an older male who notices she’s struggling, they discuss her problem. She is very doting and motherly, and she would love to jump at the chance to let a man or boy cuddle up to her for comfort and drink directly from her breasts. And, if he gets excited…she’s fine with someone putting another baby in her. 💚

5) Fantasy — TW: noncon/potential 🍪/monsterfucking/beastiality | I want to play as either a princess or a warrior who has been captured and is locked in a stockade in an opposing kingdom/monster den where she is used solely for the purpose of men/monsters/beasts fucking her over and over until she breaks. She’s just a fucktoy for them, and will be treated as such. I’d need a partner who is cool with playing a revolving door of characters to break her down until she becomes a breeding toy. This one is super dark and I want it to be pretty unrealistic, if at all possible! We can discuss further in DMs. I can be swayed into either sci-fi or apocalyptic, if those are preferred.

6) Anon — TW: potential noncon/potential 🍪 | Our characters somehow meet and have anonymous sex. Whether it’s willing and it’s a gloryhole or meeting up somewhere unconventional, or something more messed up. I will always be insane about "I can't run off to anywhere" I have made an entire post about Pete not being able to leave Vegas for various reasons so I won't go into too much detail but I'll just say this isn't just "I don't have anywhere to go" but also "I couldn't just run off and leave you behind"

(long) Well i don’t know.

I don't dislike him but i don't like him (skip to bottom for TLDR if you care) I can't really discuss Grey Wing without also Clear Sky so. There is an opinion of him being 'good dad can't breathe uwu he made starclan' which I used to just accept but re-reading DoTC (parts of) its kinda... not true. The DoTC cast are flawed characters, they are mean (to each other, to strangers) they are pretty fucking stupid, and overall opinions tend to be (exaggerated) 'Clear Sky worst man ever, Grey Wing did nothing wrong', or 'Grey Wing is actually awful, Clear Sky did what he thought was right he's actually super nuanced' even tho there are a lot of smaller moments of awfulness from the both of them that show their awfulness.

I feel a lot of CS/GW opinions hinge on rejecting Thunder and the First Battle/borders thing > 'smaller' scenes of awfulness > Clear Sky and Thunder especially, theres scenes in TR and BS/AFD (so even post 'redemption') of Clear Sky trying to 'one up' Thunder and show off while hunting or traversing the forest, the killing of Misty, Jagged Peak, letting Tom sod off with TTs kits and lying about it, trusting One Eye, the whole Micah and Willow Tail thing, etc, so i definitely see Clear Sky as bad guy and not 'morally grey' or whatever, he's only really good to his new family with Star Flower or cats when they threaten to leave him (AFD). He disowns Jagged Peak and Thunder because they aren’t useful to him, but SF constantly boosts his ego and his new kits don’t give him trouble so he likes them. He doesn’t really get a redemption, beyond being leader of SkyClan. I can’t really see any ‘nuance’ to him, he’s not evil evil he’s just a generic dickhead (with a splattering of murder) and doesn’t really do anything by APoS/MV to make him not a dickhead. I like the idea that SkyClan’s removal from the forest was due to Clear Sky’s wickedness, and the dreams the med cats had of SkyClan being exiled came with whispers of ‘you brought this onto yourself’. I think Quiet Rain was right to disown him (and the fucking 'i forgive you' come on, very ooc, QR was fucking vicious all her life and definitely were i think Clear Sky got it from- I think the mountain cats all got their occasionally horrible personalities from their harsh environment and constant suffering in the mountains but) // I also don’t buy the whole ‘Clear Sky did bad things he knew others thought were bad but he had to do it he was suffering so much making those decisions, it was for Thunder/Jaggeds/insert character’s own good’ idea like, he knows he’s a dick, he knows he’s in the wrong. I wish his POV went more into the suffering in the mountains (Quiet Rain, Fluttering Bird, his dad) and how that directly affected him (nightmares? flashbacks? comparing everything to the mountains? we only get a few ‘ive seen cats starve’ lines like okay u had a rough childhood stop killing people; all of your friends are telling you this is a bad idea wth)

Onto Grey Wing (lol) > i think the 'uwu soft' opinions come from the old trope of 'evil sibling, good sibling' repeated in warriors (Hawk and Bramble, Ivy and Dove etc). His moments of awfulness are probably less obvious as he is the first POV so like... subconsciously we probably take his 'word' for more (same way people see Squirrel as annoying becoz Brambles POV introduces her as annoying), but most of his interactions with Turtle Tail and Bumble either come from a complete fucking socially-inept idiot who is too harsh and doesn't realise, or a really mean guy. I don’t know why Tall Shadow made him leader in TR and I don’t know why he got a ‘second chance’ with Slate. He can be pretty rude to Thunder but its nothing major, its just a sign that he’s got the familial dickhead streak. Um where was I going with this? Oh yeah, my opinion. IDK. The whole ‘good dad’ i don’t get because he just like, oversaw Turtle/Hawk Swoop raising her kits/Thunder and didn’t really, raise them; TT’s kits are basically plot devices, especially Pebble Heart. anyway. I think a lot of DotC conversation (including this) is pointless because not only is the overall arc flawed in terms of plot and character consistency, but because Clear Sky and Grey Wing make a lot of bad decisions and say/do some bad things that the narrative kinda expects us to just be like ‘and then they were good leaders’ in the end (I have a few ideas for a dotc rewrite but). I don’t like either of them, but I don’t hate them. I dislike the way their characters (in a writing sense) continued after TFB, and i think both of them becoming (in the narrative) leaders and founders kinda softens our perception of them being.. not good people. But i also just tune out any ‘grey wing good clear sky bad’ discussion because i don’t really care either. The more I think about DoTC now the more mediocre i think it was lol. The last chapter of APoS was good tho. 

TL;DR - I think Clear Sky is a major dickhead, and i think Grey Wing is a lesser spotted dickhead. I don’t really care for DoTC after more than 5 minutes of thinking about it. All the characters have room temperature IQs. Grey Wing needs a different personality because he’s very all over the place to me, and Clear Sky could have been something.

He destroyed his home, bashing in crates and the fencing. Scattering all his things and letting vines overgrow. He had no home, there was no home. He let his thoughts consume him, laughing as he spiralled down and down and down and down.

He wanted it all to end, he wouldn't accept anything other than one of them to die after this. He was tired and if it ended with him, so be it, but he couldn't let himself live and Krow live as well. He wanted an ending of some sort to a war that ended long ago that he KEEPS FIGHTING WHEN HE DOESN'T NEED TO AND I-

A companion who saw Owen in those long hours of writing down a will that no one will probably read. To them, Owen told the little piglet that he shielded from Krow's dagger, he told Puddy to stay away...

He didn't discard all his attachments.

On one hand, c!Owen has always been on this road, a path in which he can't return from, he has been on it since he turned away from c!Apo, who he grieved and cried over, who haunted him for years in cherished memories. He was doomed when he told the tiefling to run back and he sealed his fate by ending Apokuna. The one person that carried more weight in his mind than anyone else had before he remembered.

And for Rasbi, he didn't even give a chance.

She never stood a chance.

And I don't know how much weight Graecie's words would hold. If she even wakes up in time, if she sees Owen and learns how much he has changed. If she will care enough to reach out after learning all he has done.

And Magic.

He used Magic and in the end, he betrayed her trust and he used her to kill. And she was never meant to be the one to save him, she would not be able to, I don't think.

I don't think there is anyone that could change his mind, on one walking in the maze or existing beyond its confines that could make him want to be redeemed. No one that could make him leave the hill collapsing on itself, step away from that ledgd, a cage filling up and drowning him.

I don't think anyone could convince him to save himself.

They wouldn't forgive him anyways, for good reason after all. He killed the demons and he deceived them all, he did the worst of them all really. Why save the monster that hurt them so much, who would only remind them and hurt them because he blinds himself and would deny he had done wrong.

Too much wrong.

He can't be saved and he won't allow himself to be saved.

But I am a fucking fool holding out, and even if Puddy is doomed to the maze burning them all, I don't care. Owen loves that goddamn pet and I can't help but see the Owen that loved once when he told Krow to leave him with Puddy. And I want him to stop, god I want him to want to change even if he sealed his fate and would be hated forever. I WANT HIM TO HEAL STILL I WANT HIM TO BREAK THE CYCLE

AND I HATE THAT I CAN'T SEE HIM DOING THAT

But still I want him to and I am clinging onto hope like a drunk fool.

I want the Owen that hesitated to hurt, the one that wanted them all to thrive, the one that would reassure his friends, who was a protector.

I want the Owen that cared back.

The one that cared to live

The one that wanted to return home.

I miss him, goodness I miss him.

Because as much as I cheered on Owen and looked on for all he has done, he doesn't do it because he enjoys it, despite what he says.

He has hurt others and he lets himself stay hurt.

Killing Krow, the last of the demons in the clearing won't give him the peace he thinks it will let him have.

Even if he somehow hides it any longer, even if narratively someone wasn't going to probably find out what he has done, it will eat himself up inside.

It is a hollow victory that means nothing.

It was never was going to give him that closure he chased after for so long.

The closure he will never give himself, staying as he is. He was never going to get a happy ending, staying as he was.

And really that is what it comes down to, changing, recognizing truly what is done and the emptiness and that he sealed any chance of forgiveness from anyone left that cared.

It is the closest a person can get to being irredeemable. By refusing to change, over and over.

And would it matter, when there is no time left to change?

i'm super hyped for the mysterious library though. Genuinely can't wait to see where it's going.

The characters moving the plot makes a huge different because they shape how the story will go and built up their characters. They are in control and are the ripple effect. There's consistency that makes sense. Its why I feel they failed Porsche because he was being dragged by the plot. He was just a reactor then the one diving deep into it. Kp around each other grew but outside of it they were being tossed around. He could be the anti-hero but they reduced him to favor others.

This is what frustrates me to my core - Porsche had the potential to be amazing. Don't get me wrong, what the writers did to him doesn't negate my love and devotion to him as a character. I just know he could have been more. He could have been so much better. Kinn too, but it's a shame of what they did to Porsche. The tiny glimpse we saw of Porsche in episode 13 should have been a thing long before the end of the season. In fact, give me dark/anti-hero Porsche who has his priorities in order and he trusts no one but the people he loves.

Give me Porsche being the honey pot to actually lure Vegas in, because Vegas wasn't that much more smarter than him. The narrative just needed him to be, but a more well-rounded character would have ran circles around Vegas. Give me Porsche using Vegas's weird fixation on him to get information to take him down. Give me a scene where Porsche is alone and it shows that he eventually remembered everything that happened with Vegas in episode 4. Give me something that shows that he's using that to completely destroy his life. Give me Porsche realizing that Korn is a fucking snake and he's out-scheming the schemer and he's planning on taking him down from the inside. Give me a scene where the naïve, clueless Porsche was all a ruse and he was always aware of what was going on. Remember the Porsche we met in episode 1 that was immediately mistrustful of Kinn and seemed more street smart than anything else? We could have gotten a version of that but we didn't.

The thing that's even worse than all of this is that we KNOW Apo would have eaten that role up. We know Apo would have ate and left no crumbs, because the acting is there. The writing wasn't, and that's a damn shame honestly.
