🍎🥕🍗 Ancestral Diet: A Return to Our Roots 🌱🍇🥩 Our modern diet is vastly different from what our ancestors ate. 🍔🍟🍕 But what if we could learn from their eating habits and improve our health? 🤔 The ancestral diet, also known as the paleo diet, is gaining popularity as a way to do just that. 🌿🍓🐟 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦👴👵 The idea behind the ancestral diet is to eat like our hunter-gatherer ancestors did before the advent of agriculture. 🏹🌾 This means consuming whole, unprocessed foods like meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, and nuts. 🥦🥑🍎 By avoiding processed foods, refined sugar, and grains, proponents of the ancestral diet believe it can improve digestion, reduce inflammation, and even aid in weight loss. 🙌1. The Evolution of Ancestral Diets: From Hunter-Gatherers to Modern TimesOur ancestors' diets have evolved over time, from hunting and gathering to modern times. Early humans consumed a variety of plants and animals. As agriculture developed, grains and dairy became staples. Industrialization brought processed foods and sugar. Today, many people follow specialized diets for health or ethical reasons. Vegetarianism and veganism exclude animal products. Paleo and keto diets focus on high protein and low carbs. Intermittent fasting restricts eating to certain times. Despite these changes, some ancestral dietary principles remain relevant. Eating whole, unprocessed foods. Limiting sugar and refined carbs. Consuming a variety of fruits, vegetables, and proteins. By understanding the evolution of our diets, we can make informed choices about what we eat.2. The Benefits of Eating Like Our Ancestors: Improved Health and Well-beingEating like our ancestors has numerous benefits for our health and well-being. Here are some of the advantages: Improved gut health and digestion 🍴 Reduced risk of chronic diseases such as obesity and diabetes 🏥 Increased intake of essential nutrients and antioxidants 🥦 Lowered inflammation and improved immune function 🌡️ Improved mental clarity and cognitive function 🧠 By consuming whole, unprocessed foods, we can nourish our bodies with the nutrients they need to thrive. This includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and lean proteins. Additionally, eating like our ancestors means avoiding processed and refined foods that are high in sugar, unhealthy fats, and artificial additives. This can help reduce inflammation and improve overall health. It's important to note that while our ancestors may not have had access to modern conveniences like fast food and processed snacks, they also faced different challenges and limitations. It's about finding a balance that works for your individual needs and lifestyle. Overall, adopting a more ancestral way of eating can have numerous benefits for our health and well-being. By focusing on whole, unprocessed foods, we can nourish our bodies and improve our overall quality of life.3. What to Eat on an Ancestral Diet: A Guide to Whole, Unprocessed FoodsEating an ancestral diet means consuming whole, unprocessed foods that our ancestors ate. Here's a guide to help you get started: Meat: Grass-fed beef, wild-caught fish, and pasture-raised poultry are great protein sources. Vegetables: Eat a variety of colorful veggies, including leafy greens, cruciferous veggies, and root vegetables. Fruits: Enjoy seasonal fruits, such as berries, apples, and citrus fruits, in moderation. Nuts and seeds: Snack on raw nuts and seeds, such as almonds, walnuts, and pumpkin seeds. Avoid processed foods, refined sugars, and vegetable oils. Instead, use healthy fats like olive oil, coconut oil, and avocado oil. Grains: Limit or eliminate grains, including wheat, corn, and rice. Instead, try gluten-free options like quinoa and buckwheat. Dairy: Some people tolerate dairy well, but others may need to avoid it. Choose high-quality, full-fat dairy products. Herbs and spices: Use herbs and spices to add flavor to your meals, such as garlic, ginger, and turmeric. Water: Stay hydrated with plenty of water and herbal teas. Eating an ancestral diet can improve your health and reduce your risk of chronic diseases. 🥑🍓🍗4. How Ancestral Diets Can Help Manage Chronic Diseases: Evidence-Based ResearchResearch shows that ancestral diets can help manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. These diets are rich in whole foods, fiber, and healthy fats. They are low in processed foods, sugar, and refined carbohydrates. Ancestral diets include Mediterranean, Paleo, and traditional Asian diets. Studies have found that these diets can improve blood sugar control, lower blood pressure, and reduce inflammation. They can also promote weight loss and improve overall health markers. These benefits may be due to the high nutrient density and anti-inflammatory properties of these diets. It's important to note that ancestral diets may not be suitable for everyone. Individuals with certain medical conditions or dietary restrictions should consult with a healthcare professional. However, incorporating whole, unprocessed foods into one's diet can benefit overall health. Overall, ancestral diets have shown promise in managing chronic diseases and improving overall health. 🍎🥦🥑🍗🐟🌰🌽🍠5. The Role of Ancestral Diets in Sustainable Agriculture: Promoting Biodiversity and Ecosystem HealthAncestral diets can promote sustainable agriculture by maintaining biodiversity and ecosystem health. Traditional diets contain diverse crops and animal species, reducing reliance on monoculture. Indigenous practices, such as agroforestry, can enhance soil fertility and carbon sequestration. Preserving ancestral diets also preserves cultural heritage and knowledge. Modern agriculture has led to loss of biodiversity, soil degradation, and greenhouse gas emissions. Industrial agriculture relies heavily on chemical inputs and monoculture, leading to soil depletion and pollution. Genetic homogenization of crops and livestock reduces resilience to pests and diseases. Adopting ancestral diets can mitigate these negative impacts and promote sustainable food systems. Consuming ancestral diets can also benefit human health. Traditional diets are often rich in whole foods, fiber, and micronutrients. Reducing consumption of processed and ultra-processed foods can improve health outcomes. Returning to ancestral diets can also provide a sense of connection to cultural identity and community. Overall, incorporating ancestral diets into sustainable agriculture practices can benefit the environment, human health, and cultural heritage. 🌱🌿🌳🌾🍎🥦🍠🍗🥩🥚🐄🐓🐟🌍🌱6. Overcoming Challenges in Adopting an Ancestral Diet: Practical Tips and StrategiesAdopting an ancestral diet can be challenging, but it's worth it. Here are some practical tips and strategies to help you overcome these challenges: Start small by incorporating one ancestral food at a time. Find substitutes for modern ingredients, like using coconut flour instead of wheat flour. Learn how to cook ancestral meals by taking cooking classes or watching online tutorials. Plan your meals ahead of time to avoid temptation and make grocery shopping easier. Join a community of like-minded individuals for support and recipe ideas. Stay motivated by reminding yourself of the health benefits and how good you feel. It's important to remember that everyone's journey is different, and it's okay to make mistakes. Don't beat yourself up if you slip up and eat something non-ancestral. Just get back on track and keep moving forward. One of the biggest challenges can be dealing with social situations, like eating out or attending events. Research menus ahead of time and ask for modifications if needed. Bring your own snacks or dishes to share. Educate others on the benefits of an ancestral diet. Another challenge is finding ancestral foods that are not readily available in your area. Look for local farmers markets or specialty stores. Consider growing your own herbs and vegetables. Order online from reputable sources. Finally, be open to trying new foods and experimenting with different recipes. An ancestral diet is not about restriction, but rather about nourishing your body with whole, nutrient-dense foods. 🍎🥦🍗7. Ancestral Diets and Cultural Heritage: Preserving Traditional Foodways for Future GenerationsTraditional diets and cultural heritage are important for future generations. Preserving ancestral foodways is crucial for maintaining cultural identity. Traditional foods are often healthier and more sustainable than modern alternatives. By sharing recipes and food traditions, we can pass down our cultural heritage. 🍲🌍👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Learning about ancestral diets can also help us connect with our roots. Many cultures have unique cooking techniques and ingredients that are worth exploring. By incorporating traditional foods into our diets, we can promote cultural diversity. 🌶️🍆🍅🍠 Unfortunately, many traditional foods are at risk of being lost due to globalization and industrialization. It's important to support local farmers and food producers who are preserving traditional foodways. By doing so, we can ensure that future generations have access to the same foods that our ancestors enjoyed. 🌽🐟🍞🍯 In conclusion, adopting an ancestral diet can bring numerous health benefits. By eating whole, unprocessed foods, we can reduce inflammation, improve gut health, and increase nutrient intake. It's important to remember that our ancestors didn't have access to modern convenience foods, so we should focus on eating foods that are as close to their natural state as possible. 🍎🥦🥩🥚🥜🍓🥕🥥🍌🍠🥗🍵🍽️ Overall, an ancestral diet emphasizes the importance of quality over quantity. It encourages us to eat a variety of nutrient-dense foods that support our bodies' needs. While it may take some time to adjust to this way of eating, the long-term benefits are worth it. So, why not give it a try and see how you feel? https://fastdiet.net/ancestral-diet-eat-like-our-ancestors/?_unique_id=648214a7c449b

Moving is what our bodies are made for! What makes us very diferent from other animals is that, if we want we can actually move like all the other animals, at least get more or less close to how they move. By doing that, we can activate a different set of muscle groups, that are usually assleep as we sit, stand & walk on our day to day. Genetically our full expression comes only if we embody and move like we were made for. In our ancestral & natural context, where our genes come from, we, run, fight, dodge, climb, dance, catch, jump, swim, throw, push & pull. All of these we do in diverse variations, styles, depending on the the context in which they apply the best. Many of these animal movements & ways of locomotion if applied & worked with can actually reflect an almost complete workout session. They get intense quickly. Specially the Lizard, that I am doing on this little video at the beach. I one of the trippiest moves out there. I do my best at keeping my body as close & alignet as possible with the ground. As a critique, I woud say that I needed to stretch my arms a bit more, before putting the hand on the sand. This one you get close to fail, very quickly. I you are up for one of these workout with me, focused on longevity, posture, stability for real life use, next saturday 10am, I will be on one of the beaches around Colares to train with you. Get in touch with me to knowat what beach I am going to be. #Repost @dr_rimka (@get_repost) ・・・ 🤒This is why you stay stuck in sickness because of sell outs like the @clevelandclinic promoting a completely inappropriate diet for humans. . The proper human diet does not require a single carbohydrate. . . There is no “essential” carbohydrate IN CONTRAST to actual ESSENTIAL AMINO ACIDS (from animal protein only) and ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS (such as DHA; from animal fat only). This means your body cannot manufacture certain proteins and fats- you MUST eat them or suffer the consequences of nutrient deficiency. . It also means your body is designed to produce everything on its own that may be classified as beneficial inside a plant carbohydrate. . Carbohydrates are completely non-essential, and your body can get everything it needs from fatty animal protein alone. . 🤬Encouraging a nation PLAGUED in an EPIDEMIC of INSULIN AND LEPTIN RESISTANCE to eat MORE of the very foods that CAUSE those disorders in unconscionable in its irresponsibility.🤦🏽‍♀️, Even the @amdiabetesassn now endorses low carb diets and admits that we get all of the glucose we need from metabolic processes. Following this irresponsible advice from Cleveland Clinic primarily benefits one elite group: #bigpharma as we get #fatsickandnearlydead . . #lowcarb #eatmeat #eatthameat #notvegan #veganismisascam #keto #ketocarnivore #carnivore #lchf #meatheals #liesmydoctortoldme #healthcarebullshit #wrongfuldeath #malpractice #wrongfulinjury #ancestraldiet #meatheals🍖 #vahealth #drkenberry @kendberry.md @MrPeaceAndLiberty https://www.instagram.com/p/B26x6Wdgp_b/?igshid=whbbuana31xq

"Health" foods that are making you sick. Another post in relation to one of the most ingested natural toxins that is not talked about at all. Oxalates! They accumulate in literally every tissue & parts of your body over time, in the form of crystaline calcifications, especially if your are practicing a diet of foods high in Oxalates. Your body does not metabolize Oxalates. It can on dump them. It only dumps greater amounts of them if you go low on Oxalates. This is one of the trickiest antinutrients with undiagnosed or misdiagnosed problems that only get diagnosed properly when it is too late. 80% of all kidney stones are cause by Oxalates. #oxalates #spinach #almond #chocolate #exvegan #ancestraldiet #weightloss #weightlossjourney #lifestyle #mindshapeheartset #lifecoachingforwomen #eatingpsychology #healthcoach #healing #ancestralmedicine #keto #selfcare #personalgrowth #lifecoach #mentalhealth #selfworth #lowcarb #coach #vegetarianfood #mindfulness #motivation #happiness #coaching #kidneydiet #kidney #kidney https://ift.tt/foPIjeH www.khecowealth.com "That which is like, unto itself is drawn."
