"Speaking to Al Jazeera, Omer Bartov, a professor of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Brown University, says Israeli officials, both in Netanyahu’s coalition and in the opposition, have been speaking more openly about making Gaza unlivable for Palestinians.
“There have been ongoing statements in recent days … which seem to indicate a particular plan the Israeli government seems to want to implement, which is not only to create unbearable conditions for the population of Gaza, but actually to speak about removing the population,” he said.
“Or as one minister [far-right finance minister] Smotrich said, to encourage them to leave Gaza either to the Sinai Peninsula or to other countries that would welcome them,” Bartov said.
“Or that Israel would rule that area and as this particular minister said, there should be discussions about settling the Gaza Strip,” he said, adding if the current trajectory continues, the world is witnessing an operation of “ethnic cleansing under the mantle of humanitarian action”.

American Muslim leaders carried on a campaign launched earlier this month against President Joe Biden over his handling of the Gaza conflict.
#AbandonBiden campaign was first launched by Muslim leaders from Michigan, Minnesota, Arizona, Wisconsin, Florida, Georgia, Nevada and Pennsylvania.
Saturday’s plan to actively campaign against Biden in all 50 US states was announced in Chicago, Illinois at the end of a national convention organised by the Muslim American Society and Islamic Circle of North America.
The leaders say they intend to guarantee Biden’s loss in the upcoming 2024 election over his refusal to call for a ceasefire in Gaza, where Israeli attacks have killed more than 21,000 people, mostly children and women.
“The president betrayed us because he violated the value of dignity and life. What’s the point of voting for you when you deny 2.2 million [in Gaza] people water?” said Hassan Abdel Salam, a spokesperson for the campaign.

" Prime Minister Netanyahu thanked the Biden administration for its continued backing, including approval for a new emergency weapons sale, the second this month.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken made a similar decision on December 9 to approve the sale to Israel of nearly 14,000 rounds of tank ammunition worth more than $106m.
Some Democratic lawmakers have spoken of making a proposed $14.3bn in American military assistance to Israel contingent on concrete steps by Netanyahu’s government to reduce civilian casualties in Gaza.
Netanyahu says Israel needs more time in Gaza.
“As the chief of staff said this week, the war will continue many more months. My policy is clear. We will continue to fight until we have achieved all the objectives of the war, first and foremost the annihilation of Hamas and the release of all the hostages.”
Keep protesting and boycotting and calling your reps and blocking ships and railroads

I'm in awe of how current events made alot of people start reading the Qur'an, how they discovered that "oh Muslims aren't actually the terrorists we thought they are", my favourite discovery made by non-muslims was "your religion is pretty peaceful, why do they say you're barbarians?"
I don't think I have to wonder anymore, we have to be the barbarians, the animals, the dark children in their stories so when days go by & they commit a genocide, no one would defend us, after all we are the terrorists, we are the bringers of all evil, we're the closed minded, we're the racists, I could go on all day about every little thing I read about me being a Muslim online.
That's without going through the "middle eastern" trope or "north African" or many other tropes we can be classified into according to the system that divided us into "Black & white", "Western or a third world country", "Muslim or peaceful", I don't have to say more.

During a session titled “Rejecting Whitewashing: Ethics of Organizing for Palestine,” speaker Taher Herzallah openly posited conspiracies of Jewish power, manipulation, and control.
For instance, Herzallah claimed that Jewish Community Relations Councils (JCRC) who reached out to members of the Islamic community after 9/11 to combat Islamophobia had ulterior motives—namely, to suppress support for the Palestinian cause.
He said, “You know, one of the, one of the strategies of Zionist groups in the U.S. at the time was taking advantage of this weakness, of this weak position by outreaching to Muslim organizations and saying: ‘Hey, you know what? We’ll, we’ll vouch for you. We’ll, we’ll stand up for you. We’ll help you guys build your mosque in whatever city you guys want. We’ll advocate for the city council.’ And so, it became like the subtle effort to build these relationships with, with, Muslim community organizations. In a way, to make criticizing Israel unthinkable…Now you have them thinking twice about issuing a statement when Israel bombs Gaza or when a Palestinian child is killed in Jenin because they’re afraid of ruining their relationship with the people who helped them, for example, get the permits for their mosque when the city council was not approving it.”
Herzallah, of course, provides no evidence for these claims. He doesn’t state the alleged names of those involved or even the supposed location of this JCRC.
Herzallah also remarked, “Zionists [are] here in the audience. You know, they’re sneaky…This is the kind of stuff they do! You know, sneaky sons of guns! You know, you’re talking about people that are engaged in this type of stuff for decades. The ADL, this is a Zionist organization!”

not saying the holocaust wasn't bad. but i need people to understand that it wasn't the only genocide that happened in the same period of world history. not because i want you to pay less attention to holocaust but because i need you to ask why it's the only one we ever talk about. it wasn't the longest occured massacre of a marginalized group, it wasn't the most gruesome, it wasn't the one with the most casualties, it wasn't the first and it wasn't the last one. i need people to think about why we didn't pay much attention to all the other holocausts after WWII that happened simultaniously and were just as horrible. it says so much about media, the news we are fed, and that our empathy is BOUGHT by the same people that keep funding genocides all over the world.

Landback is not a United States or Canadian movement.
It is a movement for the entirety of every gruesome fight against oppression and genocide.
To say Landback for Native Americans and support Israel is upfront hypocrisy.
Native Americans have solidarity with the people of Palestine.
"Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed."
— Martin Luther King, 1929-1968, American leader in the Civil Rights Movement
