"I haven't told them, but I think they suspect something." He sat on his bed, head in his hands, before lifting his chin high. "Oh, I just don't know what to doooooooooooooooooo!"

Blake shivered. It was then she realized her position. She was isolated, alone in a tight, confined space with a creature more powerful than any Grimm she's ever faced. Her heart thundered at the thought of what this beast of a man, or man of a beast could do to her.

"I..." Blake gulped. "I had a secret, too." She breathed. He looked up to her, and those beautiful eyes stared stared deep into her soul. He looked so scared. "It was something I could pass off for a while, but it eventually made itself known. Soon, everyone knew and I couldn't hide the secret any longer." She removed her bow, revealing her ears. "But everyone supported me when I showed them who I really was. What I really was. I think the same can happen to you."

Jaune stood up, towering over Blake. She felt him place his hands, his heavy, fur-laden hands on her shoulder, and gave a light squeeze. He huffed a heavy blow of a sigh, and Blake had to put her everything into herself to not turn to jelly.

"You're right." Jaune nodded. "I'll tell them everything." His scrolled buzzed, and looked to his luggage. "Agh! I gotta go! Thanks for the talk, Blake. I'll message everyone my secret later tonight."

Right as Blake said that, her scroll beeped, followed by everyone else's. She looked and it was Jaune! He finally messaged the group!

Jaune: Hey, guys! I landed safely and now I'm back home.

Pyrrha: I'm glad you landed safely.

Ren: How was the trip?

Yang: How much you throw up?

Weiss: Please don't answer that.

A beep distracted her from her rage. It was a private message from Jaune. With a tap, she found a long message and a peek of an image underneath.

Winter's Milk (Part 1)

Author's Note: The second part of this was focused on the other mentioned couple, so don't worry if they're more your thing, you'll get basically this same story but with different characters. Should be up in a few hours if Tumblr's queue thing doesn't break out of nowhere.

Yang was as happy as can be as she and her girlfriend Winter stepped out of the car and headed up towards the pair of cabins that they had booked for a winter escape, carrying a decent amount of food and luggage for their trip away to the South Valean Alps. She had developed a fondness for the season not long after she started dating the elder Schnee, due to how happy she saw it made Winter. It was also nice to see Winter out of her Atlesian Specialist uniform, as much as Yang did appreciate the way it flattered Winter’s curvy figure. The fluffy turquoise sweater and tight white jeans that Winter was wearing today wasn’t too bad either, so Yang had that to enjoy. She turned and saw that Coco and Velvet were following close behind, carrying their share of the supplies.

“Thank you again, guys! It’s super nice of you two to get a cabin for us!” Velvet chirped as she made her way towards the cabins.

“Hey, thank Winter. She’s the sweetheart that paid for this, I’m just lucky enough to be dating her and be friends with you two,” Yang said sweetly as she nuzzled up to Winter’s side.

As Winter and Yang set their supplies down, Winter cracked into the food bags, pulling out a tin of coffee and a pair of mugs.

“Aw, thanks babe, I could really do with something to warm me up,” Yang said, not being entirely truthful, considering how warm her fur lined jacket was and just how warm she was as a person, but she wasn’t going to turn down something like this. She heard a concerned noise come from Winter and came over to check on her. “What’s up? Are we missing something?”

“We don’t have any milk,” Winter pointed out.

“Eh, it’s fine. I’m sure we just accidentally put it all in Coco and Velvet’s bags. I’ll ask ‘em,” Yang reassured as she pulled her scroll out and flicked Coco a message.

Yangarang: Hey, Coco, you guys got any milk?

HotChocolate: We were gonna ask you the same thing

Yang stared blankly at her scroll.

Yangarang: Did all four of us forget to buy milk?

HotChocolate: Guess so. Me and Velv can make do, but if you guys are going to pick some up, we’d appreciate you getting us some

HotChocolate: IDK how we’d pay you back, but we could figure something out

Yang turned, intending to ask Winter how she felt about going down into the nearby town for milk, but Winter was very busy lying on her back, looking like her soul was busy escaping her body.

Yangarang: Yeah, I don’t think Winter’s leaving the cabin any time soon. I’ll let you know if that changes.

With that, Yang put her scroll in her jacket pocket, then tossed her jacket onto the nearby couch.

“Winter? Babe? You know I can solve this problem for you, right?” Yang asked sweetly, crouching down next to her girlfriend.

“I hope it isn’t with black coffee. Weiss drinks it and I still cannot understand how or why,” Winter answered, her thousand-mile stare burning a hole in the ceiling.

“Nah, don’t worry babe, it’s not that. You remember that thing I always have to deal with, right?” Yang reminded, making Winter sit up and pay attention.

“Oh. I wouldn’t have thought of that,” Winter said, the surprise clear in her voice.

“Eh, it beats just pumping and dumping. It always felt like such a waste not using my milk for anything,” Yang commented.

A few less than tidy minutes later, two coffees were ready, a little lighter on milk than how the couple usually took their coffees, but still enough to help dull the natural bitterness of the coffee. Once Yang had cleaned up the milk that missed the mugs as it dribbled from her nipples, she brought it over to the seat that Winter had grabbed at the little table in the living area. Winter’s face lit up the moment the coffee hit her tongue.

“Oh, goodness, this is incredible,” Winter said, surprised at the words coming out of her mouth. “In fact, I think this might even be better than coffee with…” Winter faltered as she tried to come up with the right word.

“It’s okay, Winter, you can say ‘normal milk’. I know it’s kinda weird for adults to be drinking breast milk,” Yang reassured, with Winter putting on a pensive look as she heard Yang’s comment. “But hey, at least I can really say that this coffee was made with love,” Yang added, putting on a light hearted tone that put a soft smile on Winter’s face.

“I know everything you ever make it made with plenty of love. That must be why I also enjoy your cooking,” Winter replied, gazing at Yang’s angelic grinning face, or at least what Winter would call angelic, being beyond biased.

“Man, if everyone else knew you could get this sappy, I don’t think anyone would be scared of you,” Yang teased as Winter shot her a half-hearted glare.

“Maybe tonight I can show you what makes me so scary,” Winter said in a tone sultry enough for Yang to pick up on what Winter was really saying. Yang couldn’t help but admire Winter’s ability to say something like that with a mostly straight face, while she was on the verge of bursting into a giggle.

“Oh, wow, no need to threaten me with a good time.”

The next morning, Yang awoke to find her body was still a little stiff and achy from Winter’s ‘punishments’ last night. As Winter brought the mug to her lips and the coffee to her tongue, Winter let out a content hum as she savoured the taste of the coffee, enhanced with Yang’s breast milk.

We're on to V1:E2, as listed on roosterteeth's website. I know what the E stands for, but it took me a second to realize it's V for Volume. I watched V1:E1 immediately before this, so it's two plays of the theme song back to back. The theme fucks severely so I'm not complaining.

I realized the airships have fins and it looks a bit like they're swimming in the sky. That's really cool. Holy shit they switch to standing on all fours to land, I love that. A lot of RWBY's design elements function on the rule of cool, I think. Is it practical to have a gun scythe? Do physics really work that way in combat? Probably not, but it kicks major ass so it's fine.

I noticed one of the shadow people doing a jaunty little walk on the way into beacon, that made me smile. Oh damn this episode is only six minutes. In later seasons I remember everything being a more consistent length, but I guess the series was still finding its footing here.

It's funny how Ruby animorphs into 2d chibi art. The flat colors and style of it harken back to the sort of thing I used to see being posted on deviantart by younger artists, which gives me a nice warm sense of nostalgia. I remember posting my wonky anime art online once upon a time.

I think it's cute that Ruby's a weapon nerd. That could be a great vehicle to explain more about how weapons work in Remnant. How a character explains world details can tell you just as much about that character as it does about the world.

I kind of love the poorly recorded stock sound effects. It's something that really roots this in that era of youtube animation.

Weiss assuming that Ruby doesn't know what dust is is likely to explain what it is to the audience, but she's also a brat who would figure that most people are beneath her based on this scene alone. Blake just standing there reading a book is interesting- was she reading and walking at the same time? I forgot that she was a bookworm.

You can really see the anime influence in how they animate the characters. Also in how they're designed, but how they move and emote feels very anime.

I wonder about that wiggly clothing effect. Is it supposed to be wind? I've seen it happening indoors. I'm guessing it's not an error since they've consistently kept it in. Is it for emphasis? It's probably wind.

Blake bringing up the unfair labor practices Weiss' family corporation employs comes back later, I know.

I like Jaune's shield, and I thought it was funny that Ruby pointed out how it weighs the same. Even the "uncool" weapons are neat. It's cool that Ruby forged her own weapon, too!

The outro fucks severely too! The chorus reminds me of music from the 70s in some ways, with the strings and the bells. I clicked off to look up the full song. The guitar solo is pretty good, feels kind of Steve Vai to me.

Oh huh, V1:E3 is another six minute chunk titled pt 2 to the last one. I'll just keep going in this post since it's basically one episode. This was uploaded after the ten minute limit on youtube videos based on how V1:E1 was one ~12 minute chunk, so I'm not sure what's up with that.

Jaune going "Where am I supposed to find another nice, quirky girl to talk to?" And there immediately being another character with real details behind him is honestly pretty funny foreshadowing. If they were animating this one piece at a time before uploading, it'd make a lot of sense if they read the comments about Jaune clearly being an actual character and decided to make a gag from it.

The dialogue can be pretty rough. It reminds me of like. What people think Marvel movies sound like. And I don't like marvel movies.

Ruby reads as autistic to me, maybe some other flavor of neurodivergent as well.

Ozpin's glasses remind me of Vash from Trigun's glasses. I wonder if that was intentional or not.

I love Jaune's footy pajamas. The background boys having real detail was probably just to sell the gag but it might be fun to see them again.

Ruby's pajamas remind me of the Dead Tired line of g1 monster high dolls, with the graphic tank top, patterned pajama pants and sleep mask. I doubt she has high heeled slippers, though. She and Frankie Stein would probably get along pretty well.

Ooh it's a different song this outro! My guess is it's to show off the totally awesome soundtrack. If I had music that awesome linked to my project I'd want to show it off too. I should listen to Jeff and Casey Lee William's discography after this.

Side note: I'm somewhat sorry for the insane amount RWBY, especially Weiss, related content lately, I just keep finding more and more. (This is especially for all of my TDP and ML mutuals, mainly TDP since that's most of you).

favorite thing about them: Her heart is hands-down my favorite part about her character (and there's a lot of things I love about her). She starts off the series as a stuck-up, cold, closed off, rich bitch who thinks she is better than everyone, hence her nickname of "Ice Queen." However, as time goes on, she actually becomes friends with her teammates, especially her partner, Ruby, and opens up. She admits her problems and her prejudices and seeks to grow. This continues to where she sees her team as "Not friends. Family." Because of this, she would do anything for her found family and becomes more and more kind and open to everyone around her, even spreading her own softness and love to her own family.

least favorite thing about them: Umm... this is difficult since I love everything about her. I guess, to be realistic, her heels, dresses, and hair would make real-life fighting incredibly difficult to the point where it doesn't quite make sense. This is a show with magic and such though, so who cares?!?!

favorite line: "Not friends. Family" As mentioned above, this sums her up so much for me. (Also, I'll come back to this later, but since this is RWBY, all of the characters have songs that talk about them, and her's are the best).

brOTP: Platonic Freezerburn and Monochrome are both amazing. Weiss just getting super sassy with Yang or quiet in the background with Blake while Ruby and Yang do something crazy are both dynamics I love for her.

OTP: Whiterose all the way. Weiss with Ruby is just so precious. Weiss starts cold and closed off and Ruby is the outgoing bubbly "dolt" who thaws her out and opens her up. Then, when Ruby's ceaseless optimism meets its match in the face of unwinnable odds, Weiss is there to support Ruby and believe in her just like Ruby believed in Weiss.

nOTP: Honestly, I just don't like any other Weiss ships, sorry. I mean, I can see why people would like them, and some of them are super cute, but they just don't work for me. (I'm just not much of a multi-shipper...)

random headcanon: Weiss is the perfect mixture of touch-starved and embarrassed by physical affection from others. Hence, why in V2 she hugs Ruby as they both cry about their board game and says, "Don't touch me!" at the same time, she's a total tsundere too. (This is actually pretty much canon, but who cares).

unpopular opinion: I think she is actually a really good fighter, despite what some people say, it's just her strength is in support especially. She is at her best when she is helping others, though she can certainly hold her own when necessary.

Basically any song that mentions trying to live up to other people's standards or struggling to find oneself makes me think of her.

I just realized that Blake running away from her team is the dumbest writing decision of the show so far. Here's why: Adam said he destroy everyone she loves so running away won't protect them. Blake doesn't tell her team about Adam. Blake wants to lay low from the WF but is surprised they are operating in Menagerie homeland of the faunus? Then she blows her cover by confronting them and they tell Adam where she is. Then she places her parents in danger. Also she never disguised her name before.

The plot of Blake running away due to being overidden with fear and guilt and just needing to get away from her past catching up to her was something I really liked. Her being a person who runs away from things when they become too much was set up well enough, in my opinion, and characters need to have flaws. Its just everything else thats tied up with blakes plot that makes the whole thing so confusing and weird. Blake dipping from beacon wouldn’t have kept Adam from killing her loved ones, or anyone else for that matter, as you said. Actually it should have been easier for him to “Destroy everything she loves” now that wasn’t there to oppose him. He wouldnt just say “Oh she left? Nvm then 🤷🏽‍♀️” and screw off. Hes till an anti human maniac who would keep doing horrible things regardless of whatever tf Blake is up to, so her idea of “Im staying away to protect them UwU bad things happen because of me UWUU” makes zero sense and makes her selfish, because now she’s not even back there to help. And even if she was banking on the fact that Adam would chase after her instead of going after ruby or weiss or jnpr, then why did she head to menagerie??? she was leading him straight to her parents. Actually, if adam’s plan was to destroy everything she loves, then wouldn’t he have gone to attack the belladonnas at some point anyway?? blake wasn’t acting rationally and her arc was about pulling her head out of her ass and realizing that running didnt solve shit.

I feel like the bigger issue is how they handled Adam with all that. He shouldn’t have cared about wasting time going after whoever blake loves. His priority was always the faunus, not hate-loving Blake to the point of emotionally torturing her for leaving him. We were shown him making a deal with cinder to help with the Fall of Beacon. He wasn’t there for Blake, he was there because his goal was to heck up humanity. Yet they still give blake this idea of “uwu this is my problem, i have to deal with the concequences cuz they are mine” Adam isnt only blakes personal enemy. If he wasn’t gonna one-shot yang in front blake, he was gonna run into her later on and do it then, and if weiss or ruby had been the one to run in to help blake he would have one-shot one of them instead (adam should have been involved with weiss not yang hHhwjksje)

A whole lot about Blake makes no sense dude even from the beginning. She says she’s a “criminal hiding in plain view, all with the help of a little black bow” but how does covering her ears mask her past as a WF member? She doesn’t cover her face or change her name or make any alterations to her appearance. As we see in some flashbacks and the black trailer, she wears the exact same outfitif, she wears her hair the same, and she never seemed to have worn the white fang mask while on the job with Adam, so its entirely possible someone on remnant could see her and recognize her from a WF raid or smth. That line should have been switched out for something like “ive had it pretty easy as far as oppression goes, all with the help of a little black bow” since thats the only actual benefit that bow gives.

But even thats funny to say since we baRELY ever get to see any actual faunus oppression in screen in this show. Its funny how they chose Blake as the one we get to see the story of the faunus from when shes suffered NOTHING compared to other faunus on this show. While we’re shown adam working in the dustmines and getting branded on the face, and ilia losing her parents to a dust mine collapse and people laughing about it, velvet getting harassed and made fun of by cardin and even sun getting a rock chucked at him by the police, we see Blake using her bow to protect herself from any racism and simply pass as human. All her friends and school headmaster know shes a faunus but love her anyway and nobody ever picks on her after the word of her being a faunus gets out. Her flashbacks of attending white fang protests as a child made it seem like she came from a poor/Not So Great home/family situation- if she even had one- only to reveal that shes actually the pRINCESS OF MENAGERIE whos family owns the biggest mansion on a comfy, PEACEFUL, tropical island, a mansion she could return to anytime she wanted where loving parents were waiting for her.

And tbh it would have all been fine if Blake ever acknowledged the privelege she has, yet wanting to make things better for her kind anyway, but she never does. She says ilia is the one who deserves recognition for doing so much despite the fact she could pass as human, but doesnt see herself similarly. She instead just comes off super preachy and victimizes herself to the gods.

And then v7 shows up to completely demolish any character we had set up for blake since all she did was stand around and not do anything about the faunus situation in mantle/atlas. This could have been a volume where she really shined and the opportunities were there. They were given time off, she could have easily attended the political rally with ruby. We could have gotten some desperately needed blake and ruby interactions, but that got traded out for bb dancing at a club and some renora drama that didnt amount to much. Maybe she was so meek this volume cuz shes still shook from killing adam, but idk if the writers were going for that since yang was all smiles and not bothered at all this volume with her ptsd magically gone, and blake seemed to be completely over her fear of adam when she bitchsmacked him on the head at haven and told him “honestly?? I got more important things to deal with uwu”

Fanfic #19: The Time When Oscar (Somehow) Got Invited to Smash Bros. Bonus Chapter 2: The Random Arrival

After a long day in the city of Atlas, Oscar decides to go back to the apartment, where his friends are waiting.

Upon his stroll, the farm boy suddenly smelled something burning a few miles from where he's walking. So he began to rush to where the fire is supposed to be located immediately.

Oscar couldn't believe what he saw once he got to where the smoke is coming from. He saw a giant, fiery symbol (the same symbol he saw on the back of the letter he received the other day), while also seeing a bunch of unfamiliar faces standing right in front of it.

Before the farm boy could even question all that is happening, an Italian plumber, who was one of the people who was standing in front of the burning symbol, begins to greet the young Farmer.

??? (Happily): Hello, Oscar Pine! I bet you didn't expect all of this, huh?

Oscar (Surprised about what is happening) N-not really, no....Okay, just who are you guys?

???: (Laughs embarrassedly) Where are our manners? Its-a me, Mario!

Oscar: Wait...Mario? As in, THE Mario?!

Mario: That's correct!

Oscar: (....No way....is this really happening right now?)

Mario: If you don't mind, I would like to introduce to you my friends over there.

Oscar: (Still unsure about what's even happening now) .....Suuure...

Mario begins to introduce Oscar to the rest of his friends, who was also standing in front of the symbol. From his brother, Luigi, to the tomboyish princess of Sarasaland (and Luigi's girlfriend), Daisy, to even Mario's arch enemy, King Bowser, a giant monster like turtle with spikes for his shell, they all seemed to greeted the farm boy with kindness. But even still, Oscar is still very confused on what's going on right now.

Oscar: It's really nice to meet you guys and all, but...what exactly you all are doing here?

Luigi: Sorry to barge in like this, but we're actually here to take you to the tournament with us.

Oscar: The tournament?

Daisy: Well...yeah. We sent you a letter telling you about it, remember?

Oscar: (Instantly remembered the letter that was sent to him the other day) Oh yeah. That letter....look, guys, I'm really honored that you would invite me to your tournament and all, but.... I don't think I can go.

Mario: (A Little Surprised of Oscar's answer) You couldn't attend the tournament? How come?

Oscar: I-It's not like I don't wanted to go or anything. It's just everything is happening in Atlas lately and-

Before he could finish his sentence, Oscar and the others immediately noticed someone is screaming the farm boy's name.

Bowser: Who the hell is screaming like that?

Luigi: I think someone is calling for you, Oscar.

Oscar turns around and see red like corkscrew from the distance, coming towards the group, while screaming the farm boy's name.

???: (Charging closer) OSCARRRRRRR!!!!!!

Oscar: (Instantly figured out who it was) R-Ruby-

Before he could say anything else, the red corkscrew begin to tackle Oscar to the ground. Once that happened, Mario and the gang sprint over and saw a girl in red, who was that red like corkscrew a seconds ago, is sitting on top of the farm boy. That girl was none other than the Huntress herself, Ruby Rose.

Oscar:(Surprised) R-Ruby, what the heck are you doing here?! Also where did you even come from?

Ruby: (Worried) We were looking everywhere for you! You haven't picked up your phone so we made up a search party to find you. We were so worried too...(Looks at the burning symbol and Mario and crew before frowning sadly) Oscar, what's going on? Why is Mario and the others are here?

Mario: Umm.... Hello there, uhh Ms. Ruby, isn't it?

Ruby: Hi Mario! (Turns back to Oscar) I'm still waiting for an answer, Oscar.

Oscar: Ruby, I can explain but.... could you please get off of me now?

Ruby: (Blushes in embarrassment) Oh umm right. Sorry...

Once Ruby got up from the farm boy and pulling him up on his feet, Oscar begins to explain everything that happened so far.

Ruby: (Frowns Sadly) Oscar, we talked about this. You can't be in Super Smash Bros!

Oscar: I-I know we did! That's why I declined their offer.

Ruby: (Surprised) You did?

Oscar: Of course I did, Ruby. You guys are my best friends and I would never leave you all like this. Not while there's so much is going on right now.

Ruby: (Touched by his words) Oscar....

WBY: Oscar!!!!

Weiss, Blake, and Yang runs towards the duo while giving Oscar a tight hug.

Yang: Thank, Oum, that you're okay, bud!

Blake: Where have you been, Oscar?! We were so worried- wait.....(noticed Mario and the gang) Guys....who are these people?

Yang: Ah man! They're the Mario Bros! Princess Daisy! And even King Bowser! But....why are they here?

Weiss: (Furious) AND WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS FLAMING SYMBOL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY?!!!!?!

Mario: Uhhh....

Oscar: ('Sigh') It's a long story, but I'll try to explain everything.

30 minutes of explanation later....

Blake: Ok, so somehow these guys came to our universe just to invite you to the Super Smash Bros Tournament, you guys mentioned, in person?

Oscar: Pretty much, yeah.

Yang: (Frowns) Oscar. You didn't take up on their offer, did you?

Oscar: No, Yang. I already declined their offer. You know I wouldn't leave you guys here.

Yang begins to look at Mario and the gang to see if Oscar's telling the truth.

Luigi: (Shrugs) It's true. I think he was telling us that the reason was because there was something going on here that's important before his friend tackled him...

(Ruby nervously laughs in embarrassment.)

Blake: Well... he's half right. Long story short, we have to save our world from a woman named Salem and her forces. Trust me, it gets even more complicated from here...

Mario: Hmm that does seems to be pretty serious...

Daisy: Yeah....(Comes up with an idea) Hey, we could all pitch in and help you guys out if you-

Ruby: That's really nice of you guys, but I don't think that'll be necessary. Salem is our problem now, and we don't want you guys getting involved with something like this. Plus, Oscar is a part of our team. We need him here to help too.

Mario: Well...if you're really sure....also, we want to apologise for coming by here unannounced like that. We all thought we could invite your friend to the tournament with us in person....we never realized how serious your situation here was and how much you need him to help out.....

Ruby: No no i-i-it's okay, Mr. Mario. We face stuff like this all the time. So it shouldn't be too much of a problem (Or...at least I really hope it's not). And as with inviting Oscar.... that's not really the only reason why he don't want him to enter...

Luigi/Daisy: It isn't?

Ruby: Yeah... another reason is because we don't think Oscar's ready for this kind of thing yet. I know that he can take care of himself and all, but he still needs more training in order to be a Huntsman. And also, (Gives Oscar a hug) we would be completely worried sick if anything were to happen to him out there. He's already been through a lot lately and the last thing that any of us wanted is to see him getting hurt. So we're sorry....but we cannot let Oscar enter that tournament.

Oscar: Ruby's right about this one. I know I could fight my own battles and all...but in all honesty, I don't think I would stood a chance in that tournament. Plus, everyone needs me here. I hope you all could understand.

Mario: Why, of course we do. We wouldn't want to force anyone to join the tournament if they didn't want to. We'd only asked because of our fans' votes.

Oscar: (Surprised) Wait... people were voting for me to join?

Mario: Well... you were a fan favorite in our universe.... kind of.

Ruby: (Smirks) D'awww look who has fans?~

(Oscar Groans in embarrassment)

Mario: Anyways, if you really couldn't attend our tournament this year, then we completely understand. You have some really good friends here, Oscar. And it wouldn't feel right to take you away from them like this....

Oscar: Thanks for understanding, Mario sir. And yeah.... (Smiles Softly) I'm really glad that these guys are my friends.

Ruby: (Touched by Oscar's words) Oh, Oscar. We're glad that you're our friend too!~

Blake: (Smiles Softly) Yeah. We never really said this as much, but we're all so glad that we met someone like you, Oscar.

Yang: (Pulls Oscar in a one arm hug while smiling brightly) Yeah, buddy. Thank you so much for staying by our side.

Weiss: (Smiles at the others) Well, while I'm glad that's all worked out, (immediately gets upset) that still doesn't explain who's responsible for this monstrosity! (Points at the burning symbol)

Mario: Oh yeah....that...well ummm you see we-

Bowser: (Points at Mario) It was all the plumber's idea.

Mario: Bowser!

Bowser: (Rolls is eyes) Oh don't act like all surprise on me! You do this every time we introduce new people to join Smash Bros.! Nearly give them nightmares with that crap.

Mario: I was only trying to leave a great impression! I wanted them see how special this tournament was. Isn't having a first impression important?

Luigi: I guess...but don't you think the whole flaming symbol thing is a little too much?

Daisy: Yeah... couldn't we just...I dunno...do some kind of musical number or something?

Mario: I doubt anyone would be interested in doing something like that.

Weiss: (Groans in irritation) Nevermind. I'll put it out myself....

Weiss set one of her dust onto her Rapier before using it (gracefully) to put down the burning symbol. Much to everyone's, except for RBY and Oscar, surprised.

Weiss: The next time you people visit here, maybe not create something that could cause a huge fire hazzard around our city.

Mario: (Laughs Nervously) Noted....sorry about that.

Yang: You know, you guys are welcome to join us on a tour around the place if you like.

Mario: We would love to...but I think it's time for us to get back to the Smash Universe about now.

Ruby: You're leaving already?

Luigi: Afraid so, Ms. Ruby. Master Hand wouldn't be too happy if we came back late.

Weiss: (Confused) Master Hand? What in the world....

Daisy: It's basically a talking hand who host the whole tournament.... it's best not to think too much about it.

Ruby: Thank you guys so much for dropping by here! And just know that once everything starts to calm down, you're all welcome to come back to visit.

Mario: Thank you and you are all welcome to come by and visit us whenever you like. (Gives Oscar a handshake) And it was nice to finally meet you in person, Oscar.

Oscar: Thank you, sir. It was nice to meet you guys too. Good luck on the tournament.

Ruby: W-w-wait!! Before you guys go, you think we could...sign us an autograph?

Mario: Why of course we can! Where do you want me to sign?

Ruby: (Smiles Brightly while bringing out her Crescent Rose in sniper mode) On my Crescent Rose please?

Yang: Hey, Mr. Luigi. You think give me an autograph too?

Luigi: Oh umm sure. Where you want me to sign it?

Yang: (Grins while showing him her metal arm) On my arm, please?

Luigi: (Surprised) Oh umm of course. Right away.

After a minute of autograph signing, Daisy begins to open up a portal in order to go to their universe.

Daisy: Mario! Weegie! Come on! We gotta go!

Bowser: I swear, if any of us gets yelled at, I am blaming you idiots for this!

Daisy: Oh quit whining and go in already.

Bowser: (Grumbles inside of his breath while walking into the portal)

Mario: (Bid his farewell while walking towards the portal with his brother) So long, everyone! And good luck on your quest on stopping Salem!

Ruby: (Waving Goodbye) Bye, Mario! Thanks for the visit!!

Yang: (Waving Goodbye) Keep being awesome, you guys!!

Oscar: (Waving Goodbye) It was nice meeting you guys!

As the portal closes in, Ruby and the gang decided to walk back to their apartment and call it a night. While the Mario Bros, Princess of Sarasaland, and the Koopa King's visit was the most random moment they've ever encountered so far, it was still great to meet all of them in person. But now all of that out of the way, our five heroes could get back to what's more important. That is to find a way to defeat Salem and save their world from her wrath.

"Alright team RWBY and team ORNJ [A.N], once we touch down we need to make our way to Atlas Academy to meet with Ironwood." Ruby said to the occupants of the airship. The teams accompanied by Qrow and Maria have finally made it to Atlas after their battle with Cordovin and the leviathan Grimm. "Once we get this meeting out of the way we'll find a place to rest. I'm sure we could all use a few days off." She glanced over to her sister who was sitting with Blake. The young leader knew they needed a few days to relax after their fight with Adam.

Yang noticed her sister looking over to her and her faunus partner. She raises her hand to signify that they are ok not noticing that her fingers are still entwined with Blake's. To this Ruby raises an eyebrow but says nothing deciding to bring it up at a later time, maybe once they've settled down at where they'll be staying for the next few days.

"We're approaching the landing area everyone." Maria says from the cockpit. Upon landing the group is met with atlas soldiers sent to escort them to general Ironwood.

"I guess my letter did make it here before us," Qrow says before taking a swig from his flask. "I just hope Ironwood will listen to us with a clear head."

On their walk to the academy Ruby cant help but gush over all of the technology Atlas has to offer. Rambling on and on to her partner Weiss. "Ooohhh Weiss do you think we'll be able to take the maglev trains while we're here?! Or, or what about finding upgrades to crescent rose! Did you have anywhere you went to visit often Weiss??"

To this Weiss just sighed, "Calm down you dolt, I'm sure we will have ample time to explore the city after we meet with Ironwood." She said to her hyperactive partner with extra emphasis on after. She recognizes that her partner has grown to be an incredible leader on the battlefield but is also still a kid who is easily sidetracked. As long as we stay on task I don't see why the two of us couldn't go and see the city. I'm sure she'd like to go and explore.

Oh man I hope me and Weiss find some time to go around. Especially the maglev trains those things move so fast! Ruby thought to herself. Secretly she just wanted to make sure Weiss didn't brood over being back in Atlas after spending so much effort just to leave. She wasn't about to break her promise about staying by her side otherwise she wouldn't be a very good best friend.

Up ahead she heard what sounded like her uncle Qrow about to get into an argument. Shooting a quick glance at her white haired partner confirming that Weiss also hears the commotion, the two partners head to the front of the pack. However as soon as they reached Qrow, Weiss could feel the blood drain from her face.

"Father" the ex-heiress breathed out.

"You! You insolent child!" The patriarch Schnee shouted at his daughter. "Not only do you have the audacity to embarrass me at my gala, but you also attack the port city after stealing an aircraft. You chose to run away to play your games with these low-lifes further slandering the Schnee name!" Jacques says while lifting his hand as if he were going to strike his daughter.

Weiss sees her father raise her hand and flinches away expecting to be hit but instead is met with a gust of wind coming from besides her. In the blink of an eye Ruby had positioned herself behind the Schnee patriarch with crescent rose fully expanded and the curved arc of her blade acting as a barrier between Weiss and her father. In fact crescent rose's blade was positioned in a fashion where if Weiss' father did strike his daughter his arm merely would have been cleaved off by the sniper-scythe.

Weiss opened her eyes to see her partner protecting her from her father's anger. That dolt! Always getting involved with my personal business. I suppose it isn't too bad though, I must admit it does make me feel cherished by at least someone. But she doesn't need to go ahead and put herself in danger for my sake!

The guards accompanying Jacques Schnee had their weapons trained on Ruby after they realized that she had blink-stepped behind them to threaten the patriarch. "I highly suggest you leave Mr. Schnee." Ruby sneered with as much venom as she could.

Jacques let go of the breath he was holding and took up his air of confidence again. "Very well, Weiss, you are hereby disowned from the Schnee family, your inheritance, stake in the company, and everything else associated with the Schnee name will hereby no longer be available to you. Good day." And with that he turned on the spot and left the group behind.

Ruby folded up her weapon and flashed over to her partner wrapping her up in a hug. She could feel Weiss bury her face into her neck as she stroked her silver locks. "I'm so sorry Weiss." The leader whispered "I'm sorry"

Weiss took a deep breath of the scent of roses that she learned to take comfort in over the course of their partnership. "It's alright Ruby she said as she pulled back just enough to look into her leader's gunmetal eyes. She leaned forward to press her forehead against Ruby's and closed her eyes. "Thank you Ruby, for standing up for me, for protecting me." With that she pulled out of the hug to see the rest of her team watching the two of them closely causing her to blush. Team ORNJ, Qrow, and Maria were pretending to be preoccupied in an attempt to give the two girls privacy.

"You alright ice princess?" Yang asked, breaking the silence. To which Weiss just nodded. In the next moment Yang scooped her up in a hug of her own and Weiss could feel Blake place a hand on her shoulder and shoot her a reassuring smile.

"Alright enough worrying about me, we still have to get to Ironwood." Weiss said to her companions. I'm glad I have friends like them but we do need to move on. I cant believe I've been disowned. While a big part of me wants to be relieved that I no longer have to worry about what my father is doing to the company grandfather started, I can't help buy feel sad. All of the work I put into trying to impress my father from a young age just wasted. I'm the one trying to do the right thing for the world and this is how he treats me?! The snow haired girl did not realize that the group had already made it to the academy as she was so caught up in her thoughts. She didn't even notice the way Ruby was walking practically pressed up against her. Most likely the younger girl wanted to offer her some solace but not sure how to shake her out of her stupor. I'm glad I have you by my side Ruby. She thought to herself grabbing the young leaders hand and giving it a squeeze as to say she was alright.

The group had reached the headmaster's office not long after they arrived at the entrance of the academy. The guards sent to escort them proceeded into the office to notify the general of their arrival and shortly were ushered into the room.

"A ragtag team of kids, a dusty old crow, and a grandmother? Is this all you come to me with?? Qrow! Where is Ozpin?" Ironwood asked his old friend.

Oscar stepped up now, "sir, I'm oscar and ozpin has resurrected in me." To which Qrow just nodded when Ironwood shot him a questioning glance. "And we have the relic, Ruby has held on to it through our journey." Oscar said gesturing to the brunette.

They began their meeting as to what to do moving forward and what to do with the relic. Throughout the meeting however Ruby could only half-heartedly contribute, as she noticed her partner sink back into her thoughts. The red and white duo had been holding hands since the entrance when Weiss suddenly grabbed her hand. And for a little while Weiss seemed to be feeling better. Ruby would squeeze her hand every now and then to show her that she was there for her but the meeting currently going on had cause Weiss to recede back into her mind. I wish there was something I could do. I was going to ask Weiss to show me around Atlas but now she might not be up for it. No! I Ruby Rose wont stop until I put a smile on her face! I'll take her out to try and take her mind of off things as soon as we get out of this dumb meeting. The young leader vowed to herself nodding her head in determination.

Soon enough the meeting was over and Ruby had given the relic to Qrow and Ironwood to safeguard and the teams were tasked with finding the place Ironwood had set them up with for their stay in Atlas. Before they could all set off to their lodgings however Ruby grabbed Weiss' hand and shouted over to her teammates, "We'll catch up with you guys later! Don't wait up!" Before blasting of with her semblance leaving a cloud of rose petals in her wake.

"SLOW DOWN YOU DOLT" Weiss shouted at Ruby causing the younger girl to gradually come out of her semblance. "I sweat I will never get used to that no matter how long we are partners." She huffed. "So, why did you drag me out here?" She asked Ruby.

"Oh, well I figured you might want to go around and take your mind off of... the stuff with your dad." Ruby said sheepishly as she looked into the icy blue orbs of her partner. "O-of course of you don't want too I can always blast us back to our safehouse."

"That won't be necessary, Ruby." Weiss said, grabbing onto the brunettes hand again and interlacing her fingers with Ruby's causing her face to flush slightly. She looked down unable to meet her partner's silver eyes. "Thank you Ruby." She said quietly. This girl will be the death of me I swear. But there are worse ways to go. This girl never ceases to amaze me. She's always by my side supporting me even though I can have... not the friendliest of attitudes. Oh Ruby, what would I do without you.

Weiss didn't know where Ruby was taking her as she knew Ruby had never been to Atlas before. But before she knew it Ruby had lead her to the edge of the floating city to look out at the sky. "I'm sorry Weiss but I wasn't sure where we could go, but I figured if I just ran in one direction with my semblance we'd get close to the edge to watch the sunset." The caped girl said quietly while gazing into ice blue eyes.

Weiss just gestured to the energetic girl to sit with her. "Its beautiful, thank you Ruby." She said as she gave a squeeze to their joined hands. "Before the white fang started to attack the company, my father was actually kind and supportive. And often he would take Winter and I here to watch the ships go by." The ex-heiress said with a sigh. "He became colder and more distant once the white fang started targeting members of the family. We stopped coming out here and he would more regularly be away for work. If he was home he was angry and he took that anger out on us."

Ruby could tell that Weiss was having a hard time keeping her composure but knew that the snow haired girl had to get this off her chest. And Ruby would be there to comfort her after she was finished. She gave a comforting squeeze of her hand as to say she was there for Weiss no matter what.

Weiss squeezed Ruby's hand back before continuing. "I-I thought that if I could be the best that maybe he'd go back to being the dad he was before. Th-that he would praise me a-a-and be proud of me. B-b-but he didn't even care! He-he doesn't care that beacon fell! He doesn't care that I'm trying to save the world. He disowned me Ruby! He... he...he doesnt love me Ruby."

She then felt Ruby's arms encircle her bringing her into the younger girls chest. "It's ok Weiss, let it out, team RWBY has got you, we're all here for you. I'm right here for you, Weiss." And with that the dam broke and Ruby could feel the sobs rack through the icy girls body. She could feel her corset dampen with the tears that Weiss was shedding. All she could do was hold the girl as she let her sorrows out. She could feel Weiss' hands clutch at her back as she tried to bury herself deeper in the leadeds embrace.

After a few minutes Weiss managed to calm down and pulled out of the embrace just enough to wrap her arms around Ruby's neck and nuzzle into her neck. "Ruby" she breathed out, "thank you Ruby, I've felt this for a long time but I'm certain now. Ruby Rose, I love you." She said as she nuzzled closer to the girl she loved so very much.

Ruby tightened her arms around Weiss, never did she think Weiss would confess to her she always though she'd have to be the one to confess. "I love you too Weiss, I have for a long time, and the time we spent apart made me realize even more. I love you and I will always be here for you." She said as she place a kiss on the top of the silvery strands.

Weiss took a deep breath of the rose scent she loved. The scent her partner brought with her everywhere and the scent that always told Weiss she was safe. "You're all I have now Ruby, I don't know what I would do without you now." She said craning her neck to look Ruby in the eyes.

Silver met blue as the duo gave into each other's eyes. "I'm not going anywhere Weiss." Ruby said as she leaned ever closer to her partner. Weiss pushed herself up to meet Ruby halfway and their lips met for the first time. Their first kiss was awkward and chaste but Ruby went in for a second and soon the girls found a comfortable rhythm. Weiss pulled away needing to breath before resting her forehead on Ruby's and breathing out, "You are my everything, I love you Ruby Rose."

Blake: With that money I could eat all the fish I wanted!!

Bleiss: Hold on, there is something else I must mention to you. The losers of each round will have a punishment. The closer to the end they are, the greater the punishment.

Bleiss: *Smiles* Something like that and is a surprise. Don't worry, it's not bad. It's pure fun for everyone!

Weiss: I don't trust that smile. What are you up to?

Bleiss: I'm not plotting anything. I just want to give away my money and have some fun. We girls need time to have fun and unwind.

Yang: I'm in!

Weiss: Fine! I will join your stupid contest.

Bleiss: *with a dangerous smile* Excellent, when everything is ready I will send you the location where the event will take place. I just need to get more contestants. See ya~

Bleiss walks out, leaving the girls alone.

Yang: Did she mention what the contest is called?

Ruby: Nop, but we can ask her later. What would you two do with the money if you won?

Yang: Well...

While the girls talk about what they will do with the money. Weiss feels that something is wrong with this contest.

I had this idea for a while after watching a Derpixon video. The idea is almost the same as that video but I plan to do it my way, step by step. Each new part of the story will lose someone and they will receive a punishment. From the name of the title they already know what types of punishments they will receive. An Opportunity Has Arrive V11 (Valentine's Edition)

Some of you had asked me if I was ever going to work with a certain paring on this story. So I thought today would be a good day to give you guys that. I am not going to mention the name of the paring, but you will realize who I am talking about.

Today is Valentine's Day. A day in which couples try to show how much they love each other, and also time for friends and family to show affection.

At the cafeteria, team RW_Y is enjoying their lunch.

Ruby/Yang: Happy Valentines Day!

Weiss: You two like this holiday?

Yang: Of course. This is the day where all the boys give me chocolates.

Ruby: And this is the time when the bakery sells the best cookies! Speaking of cookies, this is for all of you. Happy Valentines!

Ruby begins giving away a small bag of cookies to each member of her team.

Pyrrha: *Arrives at the table* Hello, Happy Valentine's Day.

Ruby: Happy Valentines! have. *Throws one of the cookie bags at her*

Pyrrha: Cookies! Thank you. If I had known that you would give me something today, I would have prepared something for you too. I'm sorry Ruby.

Ruby: *Smiles* Don't worry about it.

A moment later Blake appears, but she seems a little grumpy.

Yang: Wow Blake, are you ok?

Blake: *Grumpy* I'm fine

Weiss: I apologize for butting in, but you don't look good. Can you tell us what happens?

Blake: *Sighs* I was trying to book a spot for Valentine's Day with this business, but it was too late.

Pyrrha: What were you trying to do?

Blake: Forget it, it doesn't matter now. Next time I'm going to book a spot months in advance.

Ruby: Oooookay. I know what would cheer you up. Some cookies! *She gave her a bag of cookies too*

Blake: *Smiles* Thanks.

Ruby: You're welcome. Now I just need the rest of Team JNPR. *Looks at Pyrrha* By the way, where are they?

Pyrrha: Ren is doing something for Nora for Valentine's Day and Jaune is helping him. So we may not see them for a while.

Blake: *Quietly* That bitch

Yang: *Looks at Blake* What you say?

Blake: I say "That's great." *Forcing a smile* Good for her, she's so lucky to have someone to spend Valentine's Day with.

Weiss: *Worry* Okay, you're starting to act weird. You're almost acting like my sister.

Ruby: Like your sister?

Weiss: Yes, she was angry that she had missed an opportunity today. I ask her what she's talking about, but she didn't want to tell me.

Yang: Well, I guess this day is not for everyone.

Meanwhile with Ren and Jaune

Jaune: ...and done!

Jaune: *Looking at his work* It looks great! Don't you think so Ren?

Ren: Oh yes, it looks great. Nora will love it.

Jaune: *Smiles* Great! Now if you need anything else you can call me. I was lucky today, there are no customers, so I'm free. To be honest, I thought someone would order my service today. I guess they have someone special with whom they want to enjoy Valentine's Day. Lucky them, I-

Ren: *interrupts him* Hey jaune, I need a favor.

Jaune: What is it buddy?

Ren: Can you get in that box? *points to a box that looks like a gift*

Jaune: Whyyy?

Ren: It's for another surprise.

Jaune: What do you plan to do?

Ren: You'll see. Oh! and wear this too. *Gives him a t-shirt that says "Be my Valentine"*

Jaune: I don't know.

Suddenly they hear someone approaching.

Ren: Quick, get in the box and change your shirt.

Jaune follows Ren's directions out of panic and waits inside the box. After a moment he hears the door open and Nora's voice. He had a hard time listening to them through the box but it seems that everything is going well. Jaune is glad that he was able to help his friends. Just curious to know what is the surprise that Ren has prepared. What is he supposed to do? Just go out and say surprise. That sounds better than waiting for someone to open the box. If they get mad, it's Ren's fault for not telling him what to do. Jaune is doing his best today.

Suddenly he hears them approach the box and Nora's voice is clearly heard.

Nora: *Happy* What do we have here? Is this a gift for me?

Jaune realizes that this is the best time to jump out of the box and does so.

Jaune: *Jumps out* Surprise!

Nora was startled by this for a moment until she realized it was Jaune. At one point, her eyes change from surprise eyes to fuck me eyes~.

Nora: so this is my gift~

Jaune: *Clueless* Yes, Ren prepared this room for you, with my help, of course.

Nora: No silly, I'm talking about you~ *She puts her hand on his chest*

Jaune: I'm sorry?

Ren: *Smile* Happy valentines Nora.

Jaune: I'M SORRY!?

Nora: *Looks at Ren* Are you sure about this Renny?

Jaune: SURE ABOUT WHAT?!

Ren: I know it's a fantasy of yours and I trust Jaune.

Jaune: TRUST ME TO DO WHAT!?

Nora: *Looks at Jaune again and she puts her finger in his mouth to shut him up* Shhh~ Relax, we're talking about a small fantasy I have. *She lowers her hand to her chest and keeps going down* It's quite simple, it's about little me, *Her hand is on his belt* being devoured by my two favorite boys *she stops her hand on top of his crotch*

Jaune is stunned. He can't process what's going on.

Jaune: *Worried he looks at Ren* Help?

Ren: *Smiles and he starts to take off his own shirt* I owe you one, brother.

Jaune: I feel conflicted

Nora: And I feel Horny. Come here, lover boy! *She takes him out of the box and carries him to the bed*

Arslan: *Angrily holding the other end of that same pen* You may be confused because all the blows to the head, I got here first.

Winter: Girls, we can all join the tournament. It doesn't matter who goes first. In the end, I'll be the one who wins the kisses.

Pyrrha: *Looks at Winter* Wasn't this tournament just for students from the 4 kingdoms?

Weiss: *Looking from afar* I can believe Winter could fall so low for a boy! But I'm more surprised that you girls don't behave like that. Right team?…. Team? *Looks back to see her team racing to get a place in the tournament*

Yang: Also, we don't want to lose a place to participate in the tournament!

After Jaune leaves

Ren: Should we tell Pyrrha that Jaune will kiss her if she just asks him to tuck her in at night?

Nora: Nah*watching Pyrrha suplex someone* she's more motivated this way
