seungcheol himself tends to be a little scary when mad, so you'd expect him to understand and react accordingly when having an s/o who was also intimidating when in a bad mood. however, seungcheol would not know how to handle being around you when you were angry. he'd finally understand how chan felt when they were trainees and he couldn't even hold eye contact with him.

jeonghan -

have you seen him when seungkwan's annoyed at him and wrangling him around? he'd be the same with you lmao. if his s/o was scary when mad, he'd be a lil entertained by the sight. he'd let you shove him a little if you wanted (lightly in annoyance ofc, not in an actually harmful way out of anger!) he would maybe even instigate it a lil bit bc he's just silly like that. he wouldnt go too far though, not actually wanting to worsen your mood nor get into hot waters with you.

joshua -

at first he would find it funny and laugh at your anger and frustrations. it'd be after a while that he would begin to feel slightly worried. your silence and the cloud over your head would have him rethinking his whole life. he'd wanna wait out your anger and not get in the way, fearing for his life. once you were in a better mood you'd laugh at both at your mood and his reaction to it.

the poor boy would be terrified. he'd be so confused at your anger, not knowing whether he should try and help you calm down or if he should keep away from you. he'd try to make you laugh or something and would just cause you to grow more annoyed, in turn making him shrink into himself a little more. at that point he'd just choose to stay out of your way until you were back to normal.

soonyoung -

he would not process the fact that you're angry at first. he'd still be making jokes and playing around before realizing you were in a mood. you'd have to be very direct about it, in which case he'd immediately shut down and pout at you, now a little scared of how quickly the mood in the room changed. he'll try to bring your mood up while also keeping his distance, feeling a little intimidated by you when you were like this.

wonwoo -

not a very easily scared guy, but if his s/o happened to be a little on the scarier side when mad, he'd watch his step around you a little. he'd wanna respect your space while you were in a mood, not wanting to cause you to grow even more frustrated, but he wouldnt be truly scared of you, just a little intimidated.

jihoon -

as someone who also looks a lil scary when mad, he wouldnt be too phased by it. he knows you and he knows your heart, so he'd know it was just your emotions getting the best of you. there would still be some occasions where he'd feel a bit intimidated by your mood though. so he'd try to either stay out of your way or try to alleviate your mood.

seokmin -

poor guy would be terrified the moment he sensed your anger. he knew you'd never actually take your anger out on him in any way, but he's a sensitive boy, so he would be able to just feel it in the air. he knew you got a little on the scarier side when you were angry, so he'd avoid you a little bit in order to prevent triggering any further anger out of you. he'd feel apologetic even if he wasn't who made you angry.

mingyu -

he's already scared of you regardless lmao. you're the one who wears the metaphorical pants in the relationship, so anything you said goes. if you were ever mad at him or just mad in general, he would be walking on eggshells, not wanting to trigger more anger out of you. he'd be ashamed of this, but he'd also be a little extra attracted to you whenever you were mad. your intimidating aura would empty his head of any thoughts, which would usually just cause you to grow even more frustrated lmao.

minghao -

despite liking to claim he's not scared of anything, one specific look from you and he's gulping at your unexpected anger. he knew by now you tended to be a little scary when mad, but it was something he had not gotten used to. had you been anyone else, he wouldve probably just brushed you off. but your mood intrigued him, while also making him feel a bit intimidated at the uncertainty of what your next move would be.

seungkwan -

he's got a very strong personality, so this could go one of two ways. he'd either not take you too seriously, even if he was a little intimidated by you. or he would straight up avoid you like the plague. he'd be too worried about your attitude to wanna try interacting with you. he didn't want neither yours or his feelings to be collateral damage to both your big personalities.

vernon -

another member who would be attracted to you when mad. you intimidated him, making him wanna shut down and just do whatever you wanted. he'd usually just stay quiet and hum at anything you said to him during these periods of time, wanting to appease you in any way he could. this would usually only annoy you more, creating a vicious cycle of frustration for you. he wouldnt mind it, though.

chan -

you know that face he makes whenever he's got a lil question mark hanging above his head? that would be him whenever you were mad. he'd be confused and a bit scared. he'd be taken right back to predebut days when he was terrified of even being in the same room as seungcheol or jihoon. he'd avoid you like the plague until he was sure your mood got better.

JOSHUA: you know that this guy never checks his messages, so whenever you need him for emergencies, you always call instead. that's why, when your signal is only strong enough for a flurry of texts, he doesn't see them until an hour later. your last message reads i'll just go home. confused, he scrolls up to find a bunch of emojis and ? are you standing me up lol and ...are you seriously standing me up, and it takes a second before he finally realizes what today is. fuck. fuck. he's the one who scheduled this date, going on a spiel about how you haven't seen each other in a while, so you went out of your way to free up your schedule. and now he looks like a grade-a asshole for forgetting. scratch that, he is a grade-a asshole. he makes a few stops around town to pick up your favorite things for a night in before going to your place. it won't make up for the missed date, that much is obvious from your unimpressed stare as you open the door, but he's going to try his best to earn your forgiveness. in fact, as soon as he sees you, he gets on his knees on your steps with a dramatic declaration of, "love, i'm so, so sorry," and you have to drag him to his feet, saying that he's embarrassing you in front of your neighbors. but hey, at least you cracked a smile.

MINGYU: when seungcheol asks if he wants to continue their biking excursion to hit up a cool restaurant, mingyu says yes, even though he feels like he should have declined for some reason. that feeling continues tickling the back of his mind, up until they pay for the meal and cheol asks if they should get dessert. that's when you text him, informing your boyfriend that there's about ten minutes of trailers if he's running late, and his heart drops. he completely forgot about your movie date today. he tells you to go in first. i'll be there later, he types, i have my ticket on my phone. then he tells seungcheol what happened, and seungcheol asks how the hell he'll make it in time when they still have to bike back to their car. spoiler alert: he doesn't. by the time he makes it to the theater and pathetically slinks into his seat next to you, the movie is already in its final arc, and you're aggressively eating your snacks, ignoring his presence. he trails after you once the movie ends, waiting for your verdict and hoping that you'll take pity on his bedraggled state. you pause by your car and sigh. "well, c'mon," you say, opening the trunk for his bike rack. "i'm not so angry that i'll make you cycle all the way home." he decides during that tense car ride that he'll make the best dinner of his life tonight.

SEUNGKWAN: it's late, and you're still not home. after a while of worrying by himself, he calls and asks where you are. he almost thinks that the call dropped because you're silent for a full minute before asking him, incredulously, if he's serious. of course he's serious. he just finished an episode of a new drama, and he never makes it through one. "i've been waiting at the restaurant for the past twenty minutes," you say slowly. "and you're chilling in the living room?" no way. isn't that tomorrow? he flicks open his calendar and gasps when he realizes his mistake. "wait there for a bit, okay? i'm on my way," he says, scrambling to his feet, but you quickly stop him with a scoff. "you still need to get dressed and then get all the way here. they can't wait that long. i'll just leave." he feels awful. he slaps himself on the cheeks to get sense back into him. seungkwan, he scolds himself mentally. how could you do this? how could he forget this date? and it's not like you didn't try to reach him—he sees all the texts and phone calls now, blocked by the do not disturb that he forgot to turn off. "will they let you in by yourself? why don't you eat whatever you want and charge it to my card, hm? i'm so sorry."

VERNON: he doesn't know what he did wrong, but apparently he did something because you just went radio silent yesterday afternoon, even though you're still posting on your story. when he wakes up in the morning, he sees that even his good night texts are ignored. he sends you a good morning text anyway and asks how you slept, asks what your plans are for the day. by the time he gets to work, there's still no reply. "hey!" seungkwan yells out, rushing to his side. vernon automatically reaches for the coffee that he knows is around somewhere—seungkwan is nothing but predictable—and hums when he finds it. "so what'd you end up getting y/n yesterday? i thought you'd ask me for gift ideas, but since you were so secretive this year, i figured it was big." vernon blinks at him. "what was yesterday?" seungkwan blinks back. "you're kidding...their birthday dinner? you wanted to celebrate a week early? hello?" he snatches back his coffee. "you're the one who insisted on it. did you forget?" seungkwan's withering look bounces off the absolute dread that vernon feels. no wonder you were ignoring him. he pushes past seungkwan, already pulling out his phone. "i need to make a call really quick. can you tell the others i'll be late?"

CHAN: this is the lamest excuse in the book, but his phone died, and while he could've borrowed a charger...what was the point? if there was an emergency, people knew to call the other members. that's why he doesn't bother plugging it in until after practice, and when it finally charges up, the belated alert for your date appears, and he swears loud enough for the others to send him a look. "sorry!" he says, throwing all of his things into his bag. "you guys eat without me. i have somewhere to be!" he flies down the stairs and books it out of the building. something about his expression makes everyone jump out of his way, wondering what the heck has him so harried. somehow, he makes it to the place in record time and scans the crowd for your face, lighting up when he sees you under an awning. then his smile falls when he sees your expression. he feels so, so bad for leaving you waiting out here. he shrugs off his jacket and puts it around your shoulders, ignoring the fact that you don't look happy to see him. "why don't we get something warm to drink?" he murmurs, clasping your cold hands. at least he didn't miss the main event—if he missed that, he doesn't know if you'll forgive him.

Yes, you and Joshua have been dating for five years now. Yes, you still give him butterflies. Oh, this man is so in love with you that he can drop everything else and be with you 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

In order to spend the rest of the day with you, he even ends practice with the members early. Not to mention that he has hundreds of dates scheduled, so you get to choose where you want to go. The beach? oh well, guess what? He does not give a damn if it is nighttime; you are still going to the beach, even if it's just for a stroll. A dinner date in a fancy restaurant? All set, he already reserved a table at the city's most elegant restaurant.

Even the bare minimum from you puts him on cloud nine. What did he do to deserve you? God, he gets butterflies just looking at your face. “come get ur man pls” a text from seungkwan appeared on the top of your phone while you were scrolling absentmindedly on tiktok.

tonight was one of the rare nights that the boys had a relatively free weekend. it was the perfect chance for them to catch up and have a drink or two.

though you anticipated that the boys were going to get wasted, you didn’t expect joshua to be one of them.

joshua hong can usually hold his liquor well. joshua hong also knows when to stop drinking when he’s almost at his limit.

however, seungkwan’s unsolicited yet appreciated updates have disproven all things you thought you knew about joshua’s drinking habits.

“are you not having fun, jihoon?” you teased. it wasn’t long before jihoon decided to call you.

“i’m close to committing murder,” jihoon muttered from the other line “you have to come and help me here.”

“what about seungkwan?”

“he’s got his hands full from soonyoung alone,” jihoon stated. “please, i did not ask to babysit grown men.”

“you guys got this!” you wanted to laugh. “is josh—“

“he’s the worst one! i don’t even know what’s gotten into him, he’s so sulky all of a sudden” jihoon was frustrated “please, just come here and at least accompany joshua.”

“is that yn on the line?” you heard seungkwan from the other line “ynnie! please, if you truly love me, you’d come and save me from this misery.”

“you guys are not making a compelling case, you know.” you teased knowing well enough that jihoon and seungkwan were getting frustrated. “besides, i was quite firm that tonight is your night to bond as a group.”

“we’ve bonded for years! please,” seungkwan practically cried on the other line “oh god, soonyoung’s standing on the a table— hyung! get down from there!”

you can hear the chaos from their line and you feel bad that they had to endure all of this. “are you guys still at wonu’s?” you asked already putting your jacket on and grabbing your keys.

“yes! please hurry!”

by the time you got to the dorms, you were mentally preparing for the rowdiness that you could hear emitting from the other side of the door.

"ynnie!" soonyoung ran to the doors to greet you with a suffocating hug "are you finally here to confess your undying love for joshy?" he asked, sparkles practically dancing in his eyes.

"soonie, you're drunk." you tried to laugh it off, obviously flustered by the comment. "why don't you go see if wonu or vernon can grab you some water, yeah?"

soonyoung pouted but eventually obliged.

"yn!" seungkwan was practically in tears when he greeted you with a hug "i really thought you were going to let me fend off for myself."

"you know i actually thought about it," you teased. seungkwan, obviously who was not in the mood for fooling around, threw daggers at you. "now where's—"

"ynnie!" joshua’s entire face practically brightened when he saw you look for him. “oh wait, no, i forgot i’m mad.” he pouted as he crossed his arms.

you found joshua squished between jeonghan and mingyu in one of the couches. jun was sprawled all over the loveseat, clearly passed out, while minghao and chan sat on the floor. they all gave you kind smiles as you approached them closer.

“yn! come, sit beside me,” jeonghan offered with a lopsided smile. you can tell he was buzzed too.

“no, yn has to sit next to me!” joshua moped with a huff.

jeonghan put his arms in defeat. "i was suggesting that yn should sit in between us, but it's okay. yn can sit next to you and only you." he teased, prompting joshua to glare at him.

"i think i'll just stand" you stated awkwardly, grabbing the can of coke that jihoon politely offered. seungcheol, who was standing right next to you let out a teasing laugh. "what are you laughing at?" you raised an eyebrow at him.

"it's just cute how you and shua keep dancing around each other's feelings, obviously ignoring the fact that you two like each other," he grinned.

you elbowed him in the rib, making him groan and mumble a string of profanities.

"what? but it's true! i know we were drinking that day, but i will never forget the most lovesick giggle i heard from you when shua congratulated you over phone," cheol teased in a hushed tone. curse cheol's memory.

"choi seungcheol, speak another word and i will break your nose." you grumbled, which only made cheol laugh even more.

"what are you two whispering about?" hao asked you and cheol while he quietly observed joshua's change in demeanour, which didn't go unnoticed.

"oh, you know, how i love love," cheol said in a teasing tone. "and watching people i love fall in love," he sighed.

you rolled your eyes and took a sip of the coke, of hoping that cheol drops the topic soon. your eyes briefly scanned joshua's face though, he still had his arms crossed, pouting like there was no tomorrow.

minghao, who instantly picked up cheol's cryptic statement, couldn't help but laugh. mingyu, who was quietly sipping his beer, was fighting off a smile too. fuck, am i that obvious?

it wasn't long before the rest of the guys followed gyu to the kitchen, leaving you and joshua alone on the couch— as well as a sleeping jun.

this was definitely a sight for sore eyes. when joshua drinks, he can usually handle his alcohol quite well. he also doesn’t really get blackout drunk. so all this? a pouty, sulky, practically red, and wasted joshua was something you’ve never encountered.

"joshua," you nudged him softly "can you please tell me why you're mad?"

you were genuinely confused. "say what back?" you asked before taking a sip from your drink.

"shuji, when did you even say that?" you asked in between coughs.

"earlier," he mumbled before slouching lower so he can rest his head on your shoulder. "when seungkwan called you."

"ynnie! how am i just finding out that you're not going to be here?!" seungkwan yelled over the phone. you can hear the chaos from the other line and from what you can tell, they're playing a drinking game.

"because i figured you guys needed to bond without me looming and babysitting each one of you," you answered as you scanned through your cupboards, looking for something to eat.

"but i miss you!" seungkwan cried. "how am i supposed to endure all of this when— i just took a shot! why is it my turn again?"

"okay, seungkwan love shot!" you heard joshua yell gleefully.

"kwannie, was that joshua?" you asked laughing.

"yeah, your boyfriend has been way too comfortable passing shots around." seungkwan grumbled then paused "hold on, i think—"

"ynnieee," joshua drawled out your name "love youuu."

"shua, can you pass the phone to seungkwan please?" you asked chuckling.

"yes? did you change your mind?" seungkwan's tone was full of hope.

"no, but can you keep tabs on joshua? it seems like he's going to drink more than he normally does."

"you can do that yourself, you know." you could just feel kwannie rolling his eyes. "he's not my boyfriend."

"he's not mine either!"

"he might as well be!" seungkwan pointed out "you two have been acting way too affectionate for a pair of friends."

"just watch him for me," you sighed "please, kwannie?"

"fine."

ah. that phone call.

"i was actually telling seungkwan to watch over you but i guess he got his hands full," you said softly to joshua.

"why?"

"what do you mean why?"

"why did you ask seungkwan to do that?"

"because i care about you?" you answered, though you weren't really sure why joshua was asking you this.

"okay," joshua sighed, nearly content with your answer. nearly.

his hand found yours though and clasped his fingers against yours. it's not like this is all new to you. you were quite used to joshua being clingy, more so when drunk.

"yn?" you hummed. "i love you" he mumbled softly.

"yeah, me too."

"why aren't you saying it back properly?" he sulked. god, not this again.

"i love you too, shuji," you said softly and that was true.

"really?" joshua asked as if you weren't sure, making you laugh.

"yeah."

"okay, because i really love you," he sighed, fully content this time. "in this life and in our next one."

I ALSO dont rlly like sss but u asking ppl not to play it is so funny T.T just bc its rlly not that fun? like i wouldnt exactly recommend it, but ur point of the devs not having much time to finish things is pure speculation. they have to develop things weeks/months in advance. theyre just shitty devs.

It's not just speculation. I have not personally worked for Gamefam, but me saying that the devs are getting crunched was based largely on the fact that Sonic Speed Simulator makes a point of advertising their weekly updates

Obviously, they don't make an entire update worth of content in a single week, but they still have to move things along pretty quickly in order to have something ready to release every week.

Also important to note is that ex-Gamefam employees have made many allegations against the company, stating that there was a terrible crunch to push out content, that they were underpaid, that Gamefam threatened to take action against employees who discussed their wages — which is illegal by the way —and that they were terminated with little to no warning, including many who were allegedly laid off before the holidays. Details are below the cut.

An article from The Gamer included statements made by former employees. One employee claimed to have received an email informing them they had been fired three days after the date the email said they were fired on

"According to a screenshot of the apparent termination email, they were told on October 31 that they were fired on October 28"

Another specifically mentioned the crunch

"'While I was employed under Gamefam it was a constant struggle due to heavy crunching in the development team,' they continue. 'We were mandated to update Sonic Speed Simulator every week. this was a heavy toll on my mental and physical self [sic].'"

Additionally

"Multiplesources [sic] put the lowest average Roblox salaries between $32,000 and $35,000"

Gamefam denied the allegations, which then led to more former employees speaking out about the poor work environment.

One employee, Joshua DeBoer, reported facing trouble after discussing wages with other employees. From a Games Industry article

"DeBoer claims that as he presented the salary concerns to CEO Joe Ferencz, the executive said, 'Do you think it's good to go among your colleagues and spread dissatisfaction? You need to be seen as a leader if you want to stay here long.'"

Bloxy News further elaborated

"DeBoer was then suspended for a week [...] According to a Tweet put out by DeBoer, Gamefam forced him to reveal by name who he was discussing wages with, and also threatened to fire him if he continued to do so. Gamefam also failed to pay DeBoer’s final paycheck with the company on time, and refused to let him exercise stock options after repeated attempts."

DeBoer took this to the National Labor Relations Board, resulting in Gamefam settling by giving him a $5,000 bonus, and sending a notice to all employees, shared by Polygon

“WE WILL NOT tell you that it is toxic or poisonous to the company if you talk to coworkers about pay,”

Maybe it's just me, but that feels like a very passive aggressive way to phrase that.

It's possible that the devs aren't very good, but even if that's the case, there's a lot indicating a toxic work environment built around crunch culture. It's true that my previous post about SSS included some of my speculations about why exactly the game has the issues it has, such as positing that many elements of the game are poorly set up in order to encourage microtransactions, but the idea of the devs being rushed is not purely based on my own assumptions.

I will admit to being a biased party, due to disliking the game but playing multiple hours a week to get reference pictures of the week's content before it's gone, but I have tried to keep this post mostly limited to known facts, or statements by people who have actually worked on Speed Sim.

People are welcome to play the game if they so desire. The main reason I add disclaimers is because, while it's ultimately their decision what games they play, I don't want to be the one encouraging people to play it.

Hopefully this helped clear things up. You can look at any of the linked articles for more information. You can also direct more questions to me, but as far as the allegations go, my knowledge is limited to what I found reading through those articles. This is definitely a longer response than you were looking for, but I wanted to give a proper explanation

idk if you’ve said / written smth abt this before but i was rereading josh’s tftp and jia’s comment abt lilly loving ari had me thinking abt an au where lilly was still alive and the three of them were together !! do u have any ideas what their dynamic would be like? if u feel like writing a drabble i’ll always read more tftp content but also i know ur work is tiring so i’d be interested in any headcanons too !!!! <3 hope ur doing well

i don't think i've ever mentioned anything about this tbh, and while i don't think joshua would've ever imprinted on ari or even found her had lilly still been alive (because if his powers did stop working he would've immediately went to a doctor because of lilly so he wouldn't have shown up at the same time that ari was brought in, and if lilly didn't die i don't think ari would've been fated to be with him. honestly i think if they had found ari by some chance, lilly and josh would probably treat her more like a little sister or something), i do think this idea is pretty cute so i wanted to write it even though i don't think this would be canon. it's just too cute to pass up hehe

All Lilly wanted to do was get the dishes done in a timely manner, which was why she had Chan on drying duty while she scrubbed at them. But of course, Joshua had to come up and wrap his arms around her waist, kissing her neck softly before whispering, "You need to go wrangle your mate."

She let out a sigh and put the sponge down by the faucet, looking straight ahead with annoyance on her features, "Why is she only our mate when it's convenient for you? Otherwise, she's only mine?"

"I think you answered your own question," he chuckled.

In the beginning, after Lilly and Soonyoung found her while following Eunjin one night when she was in a trance, Joshua didn't want Arinya being anyone's mate. He didn't want another mate and he was perfectly fine with sending her back wherever she came from despite his instincts wanting otherwise. But from the get go, Lilly wanted her to stay. Even if feeling another pull was a little confusing, she was willing to figure it out.

It was thanks to Lilly that Joshua even warmed up to the young werecoyote -- probably because it warmed his heart so much seeing the pair do almost everything together. Lilly was more than willing to teach Ari everything since she was so curious and naïve. She was also more willing to keep up with the younger girl's energy even if she got tired.

Even now, after Joshua finally accepted her, he would give up after a bit and hand her off to Lilly when Ari was too energetic or too curious.

"Is she chasing squirrels again?" Chan laughed.

Josh rolled his eyes, "How'd you know?"

Lilly let out another sigh and dried her hands off with a dish towel before turning around, her mate's arms sliding away from her, "You're annoying sometimes, Hong."

"No, that's kind of my only setting. You know that."

The two boys followed her out to the backyard just in time to hear a loud yelp, followed by a series of whimpers. Eyes scanned the area until the saw Arinya coming from the forest. Joshua took off running immediately getting to her right as she shifted back to her human form. Chan kept pace with Lilly as she followed right behind him.

"What happened?" Joshua demanded, cupping her face in his hands, her blue eyes filled with tears. He searched her body frantically for any signs of injury, hands moving over her body to turn her arms this way and that and to bend all of her joints to make sure nothing was broken as Chan shrugged off his button-up to hand off to Ari.

Instead, Lilly took it and went around behind her, helping her into it so she wasn't just naked in the backyard, because she knew the rest of the pack would probably come to see what she had whimpered at. But that was when she noticed welts on her back.

"Hey Shua?" she asked.

Ari cupped her left cheek and whined, "My face hurts."

Josh gently moved her hand out of the way to find a bee stinger in her cheek, and it was starting to swell. His hand was covering it before so he didn't notice it.

"There's a ton more back here," Lilly sighed, meeting Joshua's eyes over Ari's shoulder.

Josh held her upper arms and turned her around. Seeing her back covered in bee stings, he closed his eyes and sighed, "What did you do?"

"What happened?" Seungcheol called out, coming around from the front yard.

Arinya stayed facing Lilly as the older girl buttoned up her shirt.

"I followed a squirrel up a tree and there was a bees nest," Ari explained through sniffles. "I didn't mean to touch it, I promise!"

"We're not mad," Lilly promised.

Joshua, however, was chuckling at her, "Have we learned to stop chasing squirrels?"

Lilly frowned up at him, "Leave her alone."

"How bad is it?" Seungcheol wondered as more of the pack started coming from around the front or inside the house.

"She's got at least 20, probably," Josh shrugged.

"Are you allergic to bees?" Chan wondered.

Ari turned back toward him and shook her head before she looked up at Josh again, "My tongue feels funny..."

He noted she was talking with a little bit of a lisp and couldn't help but laugh, "Let me see your tongue, goofball."

She stuck out her tongue, and he immediately noticed the sting near the tip of it. He let out a loud laugh and asked, "What, did you eat one?"

"I don't know!" she whimpered, obviously distressed over her bee attack.

"Joshua, heal your mate!" Lilly scolded him. "Stop making fun of her!"

"Come on, kid," he sighed, obviously still amused. "Let's go to our room to heal you up."

Once upstairs, Joshua removed Chan's shirt from her body and Lilly started carefully pulling out the stingers that were still there, softly apologizing whenever Ari flinched or whimpered.

"Alright, open up. Let's fix your lisp," he chuckled.

She opened her mouth and Josh pulled the tiny stinger out. Instinctively, her eyes squeezed shut at the pain and she recoiled away from him, but he softly gripped her chin to keep her still before plucking the one out of her cheek. Despite her head turning away, he kissed the spot quickly and chuckled out a, "Sorry!"

"You should probably do her back first," Lilly told him.

"Am I supposed to heal her tongue?" he asked as Ari went to lay face-down on the bed. "How do I do that? I've never healed a tongue before."

"Just do her back, please," she sighed in annoyance. "I'm sure she's still in pain."

Josh just made a face at her before going onto the bed and kneeling beside the younger girl. He moved his hands across her back, healing the welts and removing the venom from her body to stop the pain and the swelling. After that, he had her sit up to do her cheek, and then he held her jaw and asked her to stick out her tongue again. All the while, Lilly sat behind her and kept her arms around Ari's waist.

Once Josh was done and Ari was back to normal, she slumped back into Lilly's body, "I think I need a nap."

"I think so, too," Lilly agreed, pressing a kiss to her temple. "Wanna lay down?"

"Yeah," she mumbled.

Joshua moved to get in bed with the two girls but Lilly quickly stopped him, "No way."

"What do you mean?" he protested.

"She's my mate, remember?" Lilly reminded him with a shit-eating smirk.

Joshua rolled his eyes and pounced on top of both of them, taking Lilly by surprise but getting Ari to giggle very loudly.

"Mates heal better when they're together. It's a medical fact," he stated. "So you can't fight me unless you want Ari to be uncomfortable for longer."

Ari's head tilted to one side, "But I thought you already heal--"

"See, she's delusional," he nodded. "She really needs both of us."

Lilly snorted and rolled her eyes, "Whatever, Hong."

"Yeah, whatever, Hong," Ari tried to imitate Lilly, but it just made both of them laugh.

"Y'know what, I think I'm gonna give both of you up," he decided.

"I think you're stuck with us," Lilly stated with a smile and a sure nod.

"Yup!" Arinya grinned.

Seeing his two mates smiling up at him, Lilly's head resting against Ari's, he couldn't help but just feel a wave of happiness and love. So he smiled even though he was rolling his eyes.

"If you're gonna twist my arm about it," he conceded.

i’ve stanned svt for a while and i just wanted to build on what the other anon said ^^

i highly doubt any of them will leave!! they’ve said many times in the past esp seungcheol that the members are more important than the company. if one of them was to leave i imagine all of them would follow.

unfortunately pledis is really fucking useless 😭 they almost never handle things well and within the industry most companies only care about what kfans have to say. majority of ppl getting on joshua for possibly dating someone are kfans and no matter how much we ask them to protect the boys better if it’s not kfans asking for it then they just won’t do anything :/ but joshua’s situation rn is not comparable at ALL to the shit lucas did - shua hasn’t done anything lmfao.

as for the hao/hoshi/dk thing.. ah it’s hard, but out of context or not, i don’t think that acknowledging that what they said was wrong or understanding why a lot of people were upset makes you a bad fan or them bad people etc etc. you can love people and still criticise and disagree with them. as cliche as it sounds, they’re human too and they won’t be perfect all of the time. it’s good to remember that, and that goes for any group or person you stan.

sorry for this rant.. tldr: the guys love each other, no one is leaving anyone; do not worry! focus on the present. i understand the worry, but constantly thinking about the possibilities of everything that could happen is just so draining imo. i’m gonna go now LOL. much love 🫶

i completely agree with u! pledis is fucking useless i knew this before even getting into svt bc my older carat friends would tell me 😭 and yeah i absolutely dont see any of them leaving. theyre the literal definition of found family i dont think theyd ever wanna continue if even a single member had to leave.

pledis rlly only cares for kcarats. maybe for jcarats too since they bring in the most revenue to them. and since they dont seem to care for the shua situation i doubt pledis or hybe will ever do anything :/

i also agree abt the dk minghao hoshi thing. it was very disappointing to see as it happened but sadly thats just to be expected from idols :/ but as u said its still completely understandable for people to be hurt and angry at their actions.

SEUNGCHEOL: have you seen this man — he's literally so baby. you hear him call you from the kitchen, and when you walk in, he's reaching for the top shelf, fingers a few inches shy of the peanut butter jar. you lean against the door frame and cross your arms, a smile tugging at your lips. "yeah, what's up?" you raise an eyebrow. you know what he wants, but you want to hear it from him. "can you get this for me, baby? it's too high." he throws in a pout for good measure, and you can't help rolling your eyes at how shameless he is. if any of his members happen to walk by and gag at his antics, he'll just lift his chin, daring them to say anything. today, though, everyone's out, so he even repeats the question in this cutesy voice that sickens you. you groan. "okay, okay, fine, just stop doing that."

JEONGHAN: he's so handsy. granted, he's handsy with everyone, but with you, he's particularly comfortable with grabbing a handful of ass and pressing up against your back until you throw him a look. he only sends you a saccharine smile, chin barely clearing over your shoulder, and asks you to do him a favor. "it's the hair dryer again," he says and runs fingers through his damp fringe to emphasize his point, as if you don't notice his shower-fresh scent and your sweater hanging off his frame. "i swear you get a stool and put it up there every time because i know i leave it under the sink for you," you tell him but follow him anyway. he laughs into a covered hand. "you can't prove it." but you both know by the way the plug hangs off the shelf that that's exactly what happened. still, he presses a kiss to your cheek once you hand the dryer to him and you keep your mouth closed.

JOSHUA: he doesn't ask you for help often in private, but in public...well, it's embarrassing to be climbing the shelves in the clothing store. "seriously, is there nobody around?" he frowns, looking up and down the aisle. the shirt he wants is just out of his reach, and it seems like every worker in the store is busy. he leans back against your chest, and your arm automatically comes up to curl around his waist, other hand pocketing the phone you were scrolling on. "you want me to get it?" you ask. "the white one, right?" he hums in confirmation. "the size medium right above us, please." you snag it with the tips of your fingers, and his eyes brighten once you pass it over. he holds it up to his shoulders and realizes that it's too small. "...uhm, would you be mad if i asked for the large instead?" he looks up and sees it already in your hand. "no, why would i be?"

I JUST FINISHED READING YOUR FIC (UN)FORGETTABLE AND I NEED TO JUST YELL ABOUT IT FOR A MINUTE BECAUSE IT WAS SO GOOD

I think it’s very funny that Gio turned out to be Gman, I did not suspect that at ALL it was such a jumpscare but like absolutely AMAZING

I loved the recreation of the scene where Benrey interrupts Gman while he’s talking to Gordon but with Gordon being the one to do the interrupting, oh my GOD I did not expect that to be recreated at ALL but it was SO GOOD

I found it very funny every time Benrey and Forzen interacted because if it had happened in the original stream it would have just been Scorpy talking to himself LMAO but you did a really good job distinguishing their characters despite there only being a couple minutes of Forzen content

Just all of the general nods and recreations of scenes in the original story were so good I stimmed SO HARD every time it happened oh my god!! Gordon teleporting behind the door into the test chamber and asking Benrey for ID. Benrey arguing with Gman over Chuck E Cheese being an entertainment center or restaurant. I cant think of anything else right now but oh my GOD it was so funny

I also like how in character they were even outside the context of previous RTVS bits, and it was still HILARIOUS. Benrey and Gordon fucking around with Gman in the tram scene absolutely FLOORED ME I was reading it at like 2 am when everyone else in my house was asleep and I was dying trying not to laugh and wake everyone up

Also I find it very funny that the video game was like “yeah Gordon so I’m gonna trap you here for 6 years and leave your entire family to wonder if you’re dead and slowly take all of your memories one by one until you forget even your sons name” but then it realizes he’s trans and is like “oh wait. I gotta hook him up with T tho.” LMAO

I also liked the genuine mystery of not knowing if that’s Benreys Gordon or not. Like, I had kinda a feeling but there were so many red herrings that it was genuinely a shock to find out that he had been finger spelling Joshua!! The twists!! The turns!! And it makes perfect sense that Benrey wouldn’t recognize Gordon after 6 years of being fucked up by a haunted video game, T, and depression!! My man’s tortured!! And the idea of the game slowly replacing Gordon’s memories with Gordon Freeman’s makes SO much sense oh my GOD

The fact that Gordon became physically less and less human over this time makes so much sense too. I mean bro has been exposed to so much Xen radiation and shit over the years it’s a miracle bro didn’t grow a third arm

Benreys struggle of trying to keep the fact that nothing is real from the ai was also so interesting?? Like everyone had such an interesting arc over the course of the story it was just so well written holy shit!!

POOR JOSHUA!! My little man got his bio dad taken away from him and now his other one- the chapters centered around him broke my fucking HEART. I wanna see him get reunited with them again so bad but I get not being able to finish the fic, life gets in the way you know and honestly it’s impressive you were able to write as much as you did!! You wrote a fucking novel-length fanfic with interesting plot, characters, and story completely for free??? Like what the hell?? You’re incredible and I hope ur proud of your work!!

Thank you so much for writing this incredible fic, I had such a fun week or so reading this before bed. I actually clicked on it by accident while looking for Ultrakill fanfics in someone’s bookmarks haha, but thank god I did!! I don’t think I’ve ever been this pulled in by a fic, and it was so satisfying to see it mostly finished!! Thank you so much for your work, I hope you have a wonderful day :]
