Hibari looks like the prettiest Disney princess while she sobs for her dear beloved prince, poetically sighing and longing for him, and Helmeppo looks like he's been crying for a whole fucking week, without sleeping, eating, or doing basic human functions because if you take Koby away from him he probably will just kill himself

Happy Birthday to the man who stole my wife and my wallet 💜💜💜 (if that isn't already enough, he also lives rent-free in my brain)
[ID: A full colored digital fanart of Hibari Kyoya, from the manga and anime Katekyo Hitman Reborn.
He's drawn from his waist up, facing the viewer. He wears a purple dress shirt with a black vest and purple tie, as well as black gloves. He pulls his tie loose, cheekily smiling at the viewer while sticking out his tongue, holding his black jacket over his shoulder.
A patterned indigo rectangle's drawn behind him on the white background. The picture reads, "Happy Birthday / 05.05.2023", and is signed "einsatzzz". /End ID]

Hi again!
I just noticed you got into the KHR fandom and I'm so excited, welcome!!
I come bearing a few reccs from the fandom:
Birthright by Morcai
Tsuna time-travels, deals with some heavy PTSD and there is comfort delivered by, surprisingly, Kyoya.
Game Over and Over Again by Writing_Frenzy
Tsuna time-travels (again), has a brother and both adore each other, Tsuna is a veritable badass, qnd is the epitome of the 😐 emoji.
(Warning: It gets pretty dark and gory sometimes)
Namimori Gods by renysen
This one is 1827, Kyoya is the reincarnation of a god and looking for the god's godly-wife reincarnation is a Namimori tradition.
Of course, this is KHR, so chaos ensues.
Come Together series by mhwright
In which everybody tries to kill Tsuna when he's a kid, and one day says enough is enough and ask his usual not-quite savior, Hibari Kyouya, to teach him self defense. This changes everything. There is BAMF! Tsuna, Feral!Kyoya, chaos, lught PDA and affection and a lot of confusion for Tsuna's estranged brother, the Decimo candidate. 1827.
Un Fiore Per Te by Cissnei69 (in FFN)
Tsuna lives in an orphanage run by Angie Martinelli, Peggy Carter's friend and somehow it devolves into getting the Winter Soldier to becone her cloud. Actually, there are a *lot* of clouds involved. And somehow, Shamal.
MarvelxKHR crossover, incomplete but is amazingly good.
Cirrus Cloud by CeiaOfSilence
In which Fem!Harry is cloud who has a couple of personas, likes to create chaos and somehow befriended Viper.
Teeth and Claws by TheShadowSwan
Another Fem!Harry is Skulls, but instead of a couple of personas there is a lot of separate personalities, and Skull is a badass. set before the Arcobaleno were cursed for now.
Of Organized Crime and Schizophrenia by AshGopal (FFN)
In which Tsuna is the reincarnation of Senju Tsunade, Jirayja and Orochimaru also are present, the medical procedures in the fic are amazingly written and somehow there is yakuza, flames and chakra.
(Warning: this one can get pretty gory and very detailed abt it)
Starstruck by Little_Miss_Bunny
One of my favorites of the fandom; Tsuna is a normal guy who has a lot of jobs to be able to raise his adoptive siblings, and everyone else (except for Haru, who is his best friend) is an idol and mostly are part of a group. Somehow they are always bunping into Tsuna and Shenanigans happen. Romcom.
Bandaged Hand by Jorie2127 (Flight_orFight)
Tsuna time-travels (yet again) and meets some of the arcobaleno before the first arcobaleno meeting. Romance.
For The Last Time, I'm Not Your Wife! by Gothickprincess
In which every arcobaleno falls in love with Skull, and they're very possessive, and willing to do everything to win his affections. Sky!Skull (I think? Ot's been a while lol), poly!ArcoxSkull.
The Vigilante Boss and His Failed Retirement Plan by Fey_Storyteller
Tsuna (and Giotto) reincarnates into Midoriya Izuku, and promptly wants to retire and live a normal life. Sadly, he's still in middle school and everybody think he just gained his quirk, a perfect one for a hero. Everyone wants him to become one, and fortunately for them, Vongola Intuition may leave him no choice. BAMF-But-Tired!Izuku.
I hope you like them and welcome to the fandom!

Gurl, Variable Barricade was literally the first otome game I played.
I'll give you a quick run down, our MC Hibari is an independent girlboss who's just awful at romance. She's from a powerful family so she expects an arranged marriage but her grandfather was like 'LMAO, no. You have to choose from these 4 trash men instead and your gonna live with them for a while'.
So for our 4 love interests are as follow, marriage fraud who is Ichiya Mitsumori who is also the ultimate male wife, the gold digger which is Shion Mayuzumi (material girl), submissive and bully-able Nayuta Yagami and finally gambling addict Taiga Isuguri (personal fav)
The game is very much a sort of rom com, our lovely Hibari has to pick one of them to be her husband which is hard when everyone seems like they would be a dead beat spouse. It's dangerously hilarious, like girl I was laughing every 10 mins
Also to me Taiga is definitely Whitney, hands down no arguments. Shion could be Robin since ya know, Robin doesn't do jack shit and is only there for eye candy, Nayuta is Kylar mostly because he would just straight up do anything Hibari says to the degree that if she said she wanted him to be her dog he would woolf, Ichiya is... I can't really see him as Sydney, well atleast corrupt Sydney, idk he wouldn't fit
Anyways play Variable Barricade
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i feel like literally only one character suits one of the LIs in DoL and its just Whitney BAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA
Shion is too pretty to be Robin (no offense Robin) but then again, I did a lil digging (cuz blonde boys makes me drop my pants) and wowie this mf doesnt do anything other than loiter, hes just like me frfr- and Robin also doesnt do anything other than loiter (sorry for Robin slander, ily Robin)
Nayuta's dog traits and obeying yada yada does seem to fit Kylar's but this guy is too happy, he reminds me of someone that I can't pinpoint HMMM,,, you think if i color his hair black, he'd look more like a happy version of Kylar,,,
and the one who doesn't fit anyone is Sydney BAHAHHAHA, I read a lil abt Ichiya and they literally have nothing in common, rip Sydney
Tumblr media
anws its actually kinda funny, back then i always look away from bad boys until recently with Whitney cough, TAIGA LIKES BRITISH ROCK BAHAHAHAHA ISNT THIS JUST WHITNEY FR, i wonder if he sounds like floyd from twst since hes voiced by nobuhiko okamoto or is using more of his bakugo voice instead (i really love nobuhiko okamoto sm)
honestly would love to play this game to immerse myself in romancing a Whitney look-a-like but....
no money
no nintendo switch
im poor sobs
goodbye japanese whitney voiced by nobuhiko okamoto
maybe one day in the future...

Somehow I managed to get them all related
Headcanon:
Well, I really like Katekyo Hitman Reborn. I really like Byakuran, Mukuro, Hibari and Tsuna, especially Byakuran. Now, I was playing with headcanons and thought it wouldn't be unusual for many mafia families to be related to each other if they wanted to maintain "purity" of blood. I thought that if you searched your family trees, you would find members of different families, including the Vongola. So I said to myself, I want the Tri-ni-sette skies to be related and I started to see how they could.
Since we have the Sawada family tree more or less complete and I could see more or less how many generations there were, I decided to expand it a little.
Ambrogio Fabbri, later known as Giotto di Vongola, would move to Japan, taking three of his guardians with him: Luigi "G" Sorrentino, Ugetsu Asari and Carlo "Knuckle" Corazza. Alaude le Tellier would leave with them, but would eventually find his way to China where he would meet his wife, Míngxiá Wǔ, member of the ancient Wǔ clan. Damian "Daemon" Spade would stay in the mafia, becoming Secondo's Mist, and Lamberto "Lampow" Balzarini would escape to Liguria where he would marry Danila Bovino, a farmer's daughter.
Giotto would take with him Daemon and Elena Weatherington's biological daughter, Helen, who would have been no more than 4 years old at the time.
In Japan, Giotto would meet and marry Ayako Urushisako, and together they would have Yoshimune Sawada. Yoshimune Sawada would in turn marry Sakuya Uryūhara, and have twins Yoshinobu and Nobuyasu Sawada. From here the divergence of the canon begins.
Yoshinobu would marry Nogiku Kohinoki, and continue the family line until reaching Iemitsu Sawada, who would marry Nana Hitogi and they would have Tsunayoshi Sawada.
Nobuyasu Sawada (OC) would leave Japan to return to his Italian roots, because he felt it was "calling" him. He would meet and fall in love with Fiammetta Gesso, the only daughter of a landowner who was slowly becoming a mafia family. After marrying, he would adopt his wife's surname and would also have twins, Raffaello and Michele Gesso, of whom Michele, the youngest, would become the heir of the family because Raffaello would fall in love with the Sixth Chief of the Giglio Nero famiglia, Sibilla Giglio Nero and would become the father of Marcella Giglio Nero, who would give birth to Luciana "Luce" Giglio Nero, making him the great-great-grandfather of Eunice "Uni" Giglio Nero.
Michele Gesso and Iolanda Passantino would have Uriele Gesso. Uriele Gesso in turn would marry Romina Cavallone, and from their marriage Gabriele Gesso would be born. Gabriele Gesso would marry Maria Sole Scicolone, but she would turn out to be sterile, so he would look for a child in the Japanese fashion designer, Setsuka Nishikiori, who came from Namimori. Setsuka was unaware that her lover was married and a mafia member, and by the time she discovered it, she was already pregnant. In desperation, she fled to the United States with her unborn child and would change her identity to Selina Nield, giving her son two names at birth: Barnaby Nield and Byakuran Nishikiori. But despite her efforts, Gabriele would finally find her seven years later and order her murder. After that, he took custody of his son.
That's more or less what I have of the Giglio Nero and Gesso families. He has many OCs (if you can say that), but remember that there is no information on the family life of Giotto and his guardians after leaving the mafia, and asexual reproduction in humans is currently impossible so the children had to come from somewhere. From my point of view, for such a great resemblance, the boys should at least descend from the guardians.
Maybe if I get up to it, I'll do something with the families of G, Knuckles, Daemon and his daughter mentioned here, who is Mukuro and Chrome's ancestor
PS: Fon belongs to the Wǔ clan, in fact he is the younger brother of the current matriarch. The Wǔ clan is a Chinese clan of martial artists who have existed for at least a thousand years and are capable of using dying will flames. The Hibari family is a secondary branch that descends from some of them who left China for Japan, and it is not strange that every few generations some members get together.

Hey hey! We have made it through Hiatus 2: Void Month redux. If you’ve read 1087 you know the big beat our first selection is leading up to. I don’t need to explain the significant parallel. It’s so on point and that’s always been Koby’s deal. We’re seeing where he’s at now by comparing it to an earlier point in Luffy’s journey. But here’s my big subtlety; the crane strikes again.
That was one of our biggest foundational things for mystery about Kiku. One of her first acts in Bakura, right after we’re done setting the Crane Wife bit, is getting Luffy to slow down, take stock, and proceed with care. Izo was the one trying to calm Ace from Akainu’s provocation. Grus, Latin for crane, is the one trying to snap Koby out of falling for a basic damsel in distress ploy. All in all, it’s more of the same. I wondered if we’d get something hot returning to Egghead post-hiatus...but this one wasn’t like the last. Oda took time off for health. That’s what I was feeling up til the last page.
Tumblr media
Boom! Big, big moment of the story. Garp’s fate up in the air, and what do we load it with around the margins. Poor baby Hibari breaking down about not being enough. We need to stop kicking around these sweetiemuffins. Less angst, more blankies & cocoa. Garp speaking this big running line of composure to cement how Koby’s story parallels Luffy’s, though it made me enjoy how calm he was about such a ridiculous counter to firebreathing. But Avalo Pizarro my guy! Way to add in some funky storytelling! I absolutely adores how he echoes the narrators of Kidd/Law’s downfall scenes but as an actual line. While he’s also dropping this motif of stepping out of the leader’s shadow. The subversion makes me think Sword & Garp can get out of this one, but we’ll see.
Either way, that was a supercharged burst of the core thematic territory we’ve been looking at coming in at the tail end. Which made me think a little more about the Battleship Bag story at the start. It’s that same style of writing, it all comes together in the end but I love we see this full display for Garp starting off with the idea of cementing he did it all through grit and dedication. Koby’s story already connected SWORD’s story to this “pinnacle of the mundane” element, working Garp & Aokiji into all of that is even cooler. Also says a lot about Garp how he’s changed towards his two proteges.

Trophy wife Tsuna: does she marry one of her guardians like Takeshi? Hibari might not mind a trophy wife, but she’d have to be Uber traditional so that’s out…what if she says f my former guardians those weren’t healthy relationships and marries Souichi instead? New sun, new husband? Less likely to be mafia?
You see, my issue with this then comes down to the fact Tsuna would have to be involved in the mafia due to canon lore. IE: The Vongola rings need a blood heir, and she is the only option. I'll toss in the idea Iemitsu can't have more kids either as another reason for it.
Tsuna has no issue with being a figurehead, it's just she does not want to like end up with a bad husband. I think she's open and blunt to Reborn: I want to be a trophy wife. He of course is like: nah, you'll be the boss.
She then decides okay she'll play along, but she'll totally have a strong husband to rule. Which... honestly I now want all her Guardians to be fully away of this and support it. Meaning I might have to axe Gokudera as a Guardian which is actually kinda sad cause I do like him. But unless... no wait, Guardians want to have their skies be comfortable and do what they want. Gokudera at first is like: you'll be a good boss but as time goes on, and he slowly Harmonizes, he changes his mind.
We got off track.
OKAY, so husbands. Tsuna acknowledges she probably needs a husband to rule the mafia with her. So sadly, while Shouichi would be fun he wouldn't be a good choice. So he's out. Hibari? Yeah maybe not. To violent. Takeshi is... hmm, I like Takeshi/Tsuna as a pairing but for this I think she would find his 'it's a game' stuff annoying. We do also have Xanxus and Dino, but she would probably end up dismissing them.
... we also have Bayakuran and that is a fucking hilarious idea.
But also, I do like the idea she gains other guardians now, because that's also fun and I could totally draw in so many fun characters which...
It's a hard choice, but my main issue is I will always end up having Tsuna in the mafia no matter what, it's just finding the best husband for the Trophy Wife Tsuna to run Vongola. Or maybe she sweet talks Kawahira into just making fakes, changing the rings so Xanxus takes the throne and she goes: I'll go off and be a trophy wife now bye~ with her blood line locked rings.
.... yeah that's fun to. Plus I could also really dabble with the idea of Sky attraction, assumptions and shit...

I recently found your take on Iemitsu and yes!! Finally someone tries to understand Iemitsu’s actions and not just hate him just because he’s not home and tried to fight Tsuna in the final arc. I almost feel like it’s the situation where it became the trend of the fandom to hate on Iemitsu without much thought. I don’t know I personally find it messed up the fandom give Iemitsu so much hate but is okay with other characters doing worse things like Byakuran, Xanxus, Mukuro and even Reborn. I love those characters but it just feels like a huge double standard
FELTTTT like I get it. Iemitsu isn’t the greatest father ever. I get it!!! he’s had some issues!!! but he is a father in the mafia trying to protect his wife and son, and honestly genuinely how would he have been able to predict the 3 remaining heirs to the Vongola before his son would all get murdered??? Iemitsu pays for everything to do with the house, bills, school. I imagine he probably sends Nana money for shit like food and crap, too. he likely thought he was doing the right thing by his family until uh-oh whoops Tsuna’s the heir now!!!
and was the punch at school rough??? was there another way he could’ve taught Tsuna??? yeah probably. but look me in the eye and tell me that unless Iemitsu had gotten SERIOUS with his son, Tsuna would’ve taken it seriously otherwise. he wouldn’t have!! he wouldn’t have actually believed this whole fight was serious bc he thought “Hibari won’t join someone else/fight us” and “he’s my father and Basil is my friend they won’t actually fight us” and he needed to be told, one way or another, that that was not the case
so agreed!! he’s not the greatest father out there, absolutely!!! but by GOD he is not the fucking worst when you consider the circumstances (No I’m not condoning abuse or whatever I think it was bullshit he out of nowhere showed up and decked him without warning etc etc but also consider the fact y’all call Reborn his father too and he’s done significantly Worse. Daily. lol) and so anyways I think the hate on Iemitsu was absolutely the trend Anon and everyone on purpose blew shit out of proportion for the sake of their argument and I think it’s bullshit
also for good measure FUCK that weird as hell fanon flames harmony bullshit where they tried saying “Iemitsu abused Nana by forcing her harmonise with him” the flame harmonisation is bullshit fanon anyway and doesn’t exist shut up!!!!!!

(Old School)
Part 73 of Sofia
There are rules in the Underworld, old school though they are. You don't go after kids, the old, the women, unless they're active combatants. Traitors are dealt in-house, and by their own blood. A courtesy and a reassurance of loyalty all wrapped into one. New famiglias don't pay attention to them but Vongola and most of the alliance does and few new famiglias are stupid enough to give it a try. Against them, at least. It's one of the reasons why Xanxus felt confident in letting his mate wander Namimori with just two bodyguards, and why Kyoya Hibari's behaviour got his entire family expelled from the alliance with no word of protest. No matter their prestige. It's also why Xanxus didn't mind Sofia wandering Federico's gardens with the man's wife.
Xanxus grits his teeth and whirls around, entering the mansion.
Massimo offers him a forced smile when Xanxus reaches him, "baby brother."
It's been a while since Xanxus has needed the comfort. He slumps, leaning against the wall. "Bianca?"
"She should be waking up at any moment now." Massimo's voice is low. "Federico is in the room with her."
The fact that they took his mate but not Bianca puzzles them all. It either means that this is personal, against the Varia specifically or whoever played kidnapper didn't know Bianca's importance. Whatever it is, it's cold comfort. "It was a Mist." There's nobody in the Varia with the skill to track this one down, however. It's infuriating.
"Papa is coming," Massimo murmurs and Xanxus hates that it's a relief. "We'll find her."
But they haven't moved, they have nowhere to go. And the longer it takes them, the less chances of finding her alive. They haven't received a note, neither ransom nor threat. Nothing. Xanxus growls, "I'm going to kill them all."
"I won't stop you." Massimo walks closer, tapping Xanxus's gun. "We take care of our own. Whether she's dead or alive, little brother, they'll live just long enough to regret it."
Timoteo will not allow anything else. Xanxus is Vongola, adopted or not, and this is his mate they dared to take. It's an insult, it has to be answered. Then again, Timoteo has been trying to play the pacifist and to this day, Xanxus isn't sure he cares for Sofia.
"She better be alive." Xanxus can't entertain the idea of it being different. He'll find her alive and help her through this, she'll cuddle up to his chest the way she always does. Anything else is failure.
Massimo doesn't say anything to that but he nods anyway. Xanxus appreciates it, even if he knows the agreement is empty. Massimo isn't an idiot, he knows how this sort of thing goes.
"Come on." He gestures for Xanxus to follow. "You need a shower and some food in your belly."
"I need a target," Xanxus corrects but follows all the same. "And my mate back where I can see her."
"And in the meantime," Massimo sighs, "you need to take care of yourself. There's about zero chance of you being on your top game while starving."
Xanxus glares at him but nods. "I trained her some," he admits. "She knows enough to defend herself." And he's so glad that he did.
"Good."

Some visual references of the Koganei Clan's main family. From left to right: Kaminari Kyouya (Hibari Kyoya TYL ver. - Katekyo Hitman Reborn), Koganei Kazuya (Ichinose Guren, Seraph of the End), Koganei Suzuna (Marianne vi Britannia, Code Geass), Koganei Chiemi (Saimori Kaya, My Happy Marriage), and Prospero Metherlence (Dino Cavallone TYL ver. - Katekyo Hitman Reborn)
✦ The Koganei Clan
Not even Ryomen Sukuna dared to covet that which should be untouchable— the most precious, golden tears of Suzaku. As the legends go, phoenix tears possess healing powers so immense that they can even successfully resuscitate any creature on the brink of death. While Suzaku existed as a protector in the past, the Koganei Clan of Tokyo became well-known for its own illusionary phoenix during the Golden Age of Jujutsu, a vessel that cried tears of molten gold meant to sew injuries closed, to mend broken bones, to heal what had been hurt— a cursed technique deemed more of a blessing than a curse when made use of, yet difficult to master and even harder to manifest.  Reverse cursed technique users were so rare a commodity, even for the Koganei Clan, who specialised in it. The number of family members that inherited the Kin'iro no Namida since the clan's formation can be counted by hand, each one carefully recorded in the family history. What was started out by the solitary Koganei Masahito of Edo, a goldsmith by trade, grew to become one of jujutsu society's age-old families. Though the Koganei were not as powerful as the Great Three Sorcerer Clans, the uniqueness of their technique became well-known to a point where they were in no position to refuse to assist both sorcerers and non-sorcerers in this golden age of sorcery.    The master Masahito sired many children with his wife Uesugi Karui in the hopes one like him would be born again. He also took many mistresses and the bloodline most flush with the ability soon became the main family, exalted for birthing children with the clan's gift. Apart from his cursed technique, the Koganei Clan gained fame and notoriety as a smithing family business, a front held up by Masahito's marriage to a daughter of the Uesugi Clan, the proprietors of the Sado Gold Mine. He sired children until he could do no more, and his family historians believed his final days to be a frenzy of final attempts to ensure the longevity of his precious cursed technique, and to an extent, his family name.  In modern-day Tokyo, the Koganei Clan now made their home alongside the golden ginkgo trees that lined part of the Meiji-Jingu Gaien, part of the aged estate shrouded with a curtain due to the perennial nature of the golden trees within the gated property. With a keen eye, any sorcerer would be able to knock on the gates that were hidden from the normal human being.
The Koganei Clan is a sorcerer family founded by Koganei Masahito, a goldsmith by trade who married Uesugi Karui, a daughter of the proprietor of the Sado Gold Mine. They are a recurring theme in my JJK fics and have a gold motif to them, evident in the words I used to name their techniques.
小金井 - Koganei, which literally means 'tiny gold town'. Kin'iro no Namida - Golden tears
The main family is composed of the following people:
Koganei Otome (YN) (born 1990), born to Koganei Kanade, a daughter of the clan's lower echelons. When you were six, you were discovered to have possessed the clan's prized Kin'iro no Namida, leading to your adoption to the main family. Suzuna did not treat you kindly in your childhood and only started to mellow when you decided to rise and accept your fate as the next clan leader. You and Satoru share a soulmate's bond after coming into contact with each other's souls and seeing each other's colours.
Koganei Suzuna, the matriarch of the family. Suzuna possesses the inherited cursed technique Kin'iro no Shishu, or Golden embroidery. As your adoptive mother, she is cruel but considerate and can't seem to comprehend all the attention you've been receiving.
Koganei Kazuya (born 1989), the first-born son of Suzuna and Kyouya. Kazuya inherited the Kaminari Clan's lightning-based cursed techniques, Lightning Rod Sorcery and Raiden (Lightning God). Unlike his mother, he is warm-hearted and quickly accepted you as his younger sister despite the fact that you stole his birthright. He and Satoru are good friends, but he doesn't like Naoya that much.
Koganei Chiemi (born 1991), Suzuna's daughter from another man and Kazuya's younger half-sister. The servants know better than to treat her with contempt even though she's what they would consider a bastard daughter. Chiemi was conceived out of Suzuna's desperation to birth a child with the clan's prized Kin'iro no Namida, but she instead inherited a milder version of Kin'iro no Shishu. She is spoiled and self-centred but eventually grew out of her childish disposition after an encounter with Nanami in 2006.
Kaminari Kyouya, Suzuna's rightful and legal husband. He is the second-born son of the Kaminari Clan, another minor sorcerer family with ties to the Tokyo Saenome Clan, who manages the region's Tsukumogami. He and Suzuna were childhood friends and he chose to marry into her family out of his great love for her. He loved Suzuna to the point where he willingly looked away when she decided to have a child with another man.
Prospero Metherlence, Chiemi's biological father. Prospero was born in Manchester, England and was a foreign operative in Great Britain's Secret Intelligence Service's Special Sorcery Sector. He has since retired from his work and lives comfortably in Japan. He and Suzuna had a one-night stand but he would have married her anyway if not for her status.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some visual references of the young clan heirs. From left to right: Amamiya Ryuunosuke (Sakurayashiki Kaoru, SK8 the Infinity), Amamiya Risa (Ayasaki Remi, Horimiya), Sakashita Yohan (Takagi Yasu, Nana), and Sasoriza Yorihise (Seijurou Akashi, Kuroko's Basket)
When wintertime rolls in, signifying the start of the new year, the venue for clan leader gatherings is reset, and the representatives of sorcerer families near and far converge to Kyoto— the heartland of jujutsu society— to the fortress-like estate of the esteemed Zenin Clan.
✦ The Fledgeling Clan Leaders
The Amamiya siblings Ryuunosuke (born 1989) and Risa (born 1991). They are a pair of good-looking siblings who radiate nothing but sweetness. Ryuunosuke is the heir to the Amamiya Clan, a minor sorcerer family. Risa stands as the lady of their house while her brother is still unmarried. They were present on your seventh birthday and gifted you a precious item. They went to Sesui with Kazuya and Chiemi. You affectionately refer to Ryuunosuke as Ryuu-kun, much to Satoru's annoyance.
Sakashita Yohan (born 1990), the heir to the Sakashita Clan, a minor sorcerer family. He also appears in my other fics as an older man and an enforcer of the Koganei Clan. He was present on your seventh birthday and gifted you a precious item. As an heir to clan leadership, he is friendly and cordial with his fellow heirs, though he kind of looks a bit scary. He considers you a senpai of sorts since you inherited clan leadership much earlier than others.
Sasoriza Yorihise (born 1990), the heir to the Sasoriza Clan, a minor sorcerer family. He was present on your seventh birthday and gifted you a precious item. Unlike Ryuunosuke and Yohan, Yorihise is mean and a bit disrespectful. He doesn't fear reprisal and can be a little reckless, much to his family's embarrassment.

They're going into my cat carrier. The ultimate cat basket. And I love my wifey wife faves <3 I have the most obvious and predictable tastes in the world.
You can check out the extra underneath the cut if you wanna see what characters classify as sen-core meow meow mfs.
Extra:
Here are my favourite characters compiled!
Tumblr media
I finally did it! It's Sen's cat carrier of meow meow mf faves and puppies! And also my wifey wife faves 🥰💗✨ The ultimate cat basket, cuz my fave chara taste is predictable 😌🤸
I'm very attached to the WATGBS AU faves we have for our WATGBS AU :) I used my edits of the characters for this.
My top main faves are all very important and personal characters for me. So I felt like they should all be in the 1st row. Other than my top main characters in the 1st row, the placement is not according to order, just who I thought of first. There’s also many more characters I love!
Also yeah I absolutely did put 5 Magi charas on this list just cuz the cast is so goated in general, I had to. There’s 3 KHR, 3 WATGBS AU, 4 FGO, and 5 Magi charas here omg.
It would've been Sen's meow meow mf/cat carrier but Alibaba is there. Puppy surrounded by cat cots :)
Sen-core and meow meow mfs:
Sen-core and meow meow mfs are identifier terms my friends and I came up with to refer to the character design, personality, and writing tropes that appeal to and cater perfectly to my tastes. My brand in fictional characters! I'm my cats' cheerleader.
I'm passionate about meow meow mf ™️ characters, a very highly specific trope that all of my top main faves fall under. It's the meow meow mf instinct. It's like a radar. My meow meow mf senses are tingling.
How Sen picks favourite characters, or how to be considered sen-core. The Sen-core checklist:
Sen-core femme faves:
A cute/hot adult femme I lovingly chose as my wife, a deeply empathetic :D or ^v^ vibes person who loves their friends and/or the people they care for
Or, they are a hot cunning evil sadist type
Hits the specific sen-core niche of a soft femme chara or a hot cunning evil sadist type. They're cute and hot
Has black and/or white hair or is a redhead
Optional: Has gold eyes
Optional: Is a MILF
Sen-core masc faves:
Hits the specific sen-core niche of a meow meow mf ™️
Usually has black/white hair and/or a black/white monochrome colour scheme
Morally questionable, complex/complicated, or evil. Otherwise, they are too ok with violence and murder
Smug edgy asshole character, sen-core bastard cat, passive aggressively violent or threatens people
They are Type 1 sen-core cool aloof stoic cat >:| or :| or >:)
They are Type 2 sen-core smiley cat :) or :D or ^-^ or >:D
Emotionally repressed, stupid, and/or stunted. Doesn't fully understand human emotion and/or how to express themselves in normal ways
Optional: They're either buff with big tiddies or they're a twink
Optional: GNC, or an ikemen or bishounen type (pretty boy) type
Optional: Has a sad backstory and/or emotional issues they struggle with
Optional: Bloodthirsty. Sadistic, cruel and/or morally questionable or evil person that likes trampling on people
Optional: They are either ace-spec or super horny
Filling them all is so specific yet that includes so many characters of my faves! Basically, if they're cool, commit murder, have emotion issues, like violence, and constantly either :| or ^-^, a smug bastard, and have black and white colours (optional), then they're a meow meow mf!
Thanks for reading! I’m very passionate about my fave meow meow mfs and wifey wife faves! <3

Tired eldest here
Might also wanna check Metamorcy's works (AO3 or FFN) for some spicy fics 😏
Tbh, I still have the FFN app because there are a lot of gems there that I have scoured since high school. KHR fics there, especially during the height of the fandom, were a gem 👌🏼
Here's some of my favorites:
Another Path by DragonflyDream (ongoing, 36 ch) - Twinfic, young Tsuna, Hibari, and Gokudera flee to Italy to escape the mafia and Tsuna's twin
Not Quite Myths by Falia7 (on hiatus, 22 ch) - Tsuna as a mythological creature magnet, takes over Vongola earlier
The Sky that Accepts All by Kaliade (hiatus, 34 ch, also on AO3) - Fem Tsuna is a yakuza boss, has a very well-done 27/Guardians
Sora by Araceil (unfinished, 7 ch) - A young Fem Tsuna joins the Diciplinary Committee, escaping becoming Decimo's wife and given a chance to become Decimo herself
The Salty Tang of Blood by Hraap (oneshot) - If you love Loyalty kink, this is for you. Kind of 27/Guardians, 27/Varia, and mentioned 27/Dino because of it.
Like A Child by ShamelessDilettante (oneshot) - Tsuna and the Arcobaleno as the latter were finally growing physically
Tsuna and the Zero Fuck Given by Sally.H11 (oneshot) - Tsuna finds a way to get away from the bullshitery. Crack
Strange Cravings by Wyrvel (oneshot) - Tsuna cones down with a vicious case of the cuddles. Platonic 27/Guardians
That's all I have for now. Hopefully, I added the right links because I am using the FFN app (which is really dope if you are still actively reading there)
!!!!!!!!

Let Me Rant: IE-FUCKING-MITSU!
So, pardon for my language, but I JUST REALISED, THIS PRICK, THIS SLY JERK, OMG, OK, DETAILS:
1) KHR has it proven that Flames can Break, but that also means The Individual's Will Breaks in some way, so what remains has to wrap itself all up together again, like with Lal. AND, WELL HECK, GUESS WHO MATCHES-- OK OTHER DEETS!
2) So we also have Evidence that what your flame is births a similar type of flame. Tsuyoshi's son, Takeshi, is also a Rain who is able to appear like a Good Family Person but for the Whole "I can kill people" edge. The Giglio Nero's Direct Line carries female Skies able to inherit the Will and Abilities - the Sky of their mothers. Same for Enma and Kozato. BUT TSUNA'S SKY IS NOTHING LIKE BAKAMITSU'S, BUT MATCHES IEYOSHI/GIOTTO'S, on top of which Nana, despite being very "air-headed" (more on that later) also has that edge of "I look after my family as well as I can and a peaceful life is nice"
AND 3!!! NANA'S AIR-HEADED NATURE GOES RIGHT BEYOND AIR-HEADED AND STRAIGHT INTO PSYCHOTIC! And I don't mean the Movie-Theatre-Screechy-Psychosis, or the Horror-Movie-Creepy-- OK, it's got an edge of the later type, but SRSLY!! She lets STRANGERS into her home as SOON as they claim a relation to BAKAMITSU or TSUNA! OK, no, I'm calling Bakamitsu Iemitsu because 1) that's his name and 2) Ie, can be read as the colloquial form of iie, meaning "No." ANYWAY.
Combining those three points, we either have The Biggest Coincidence Ever, or IEMITSU DID SOMETHING. Something that Broke Nana and caused her to end up being unable to tell morining from night and IEMITSU LEAVING HER FOR TEN YEARS to him just heading out to the north for a month or so.
BUT THAT ISN'T THE WORST THING!! YOU WANNA KNOW WHY??
I BET I CAN CALCULATE WHAT BROKE HER, BECAUSE OF ANOTHER DETAIL TO THIS ENTIRE THING!!
4) There Has Always Been some kind of Set in Nanimori, Until Vaguely Recently/Some Time Before Tsuna.
How do we know this?
First Off: Giotto moved to Nanimori, he settled there and, by the presence of the Hibari and Yamaoto Clans, he took his Set with him, or at least those who were willing to go, given Bovino and Hayato's Unnamed Family. There's not only a strong resemblance Features-Wise, but also Flames-Wise. Takeshi and Tsuyoshi are as Generally Chilled-Until-Dangerous as Asari. Hibari is as Stoic and Protective as Alaud and, As Established Back in Point 2: Flames and Will are Inherited Traits that the Child Inherits from the Parents.
Yet how does this state previous Sets?
Well, there's also the Misty Nature of Nanimori: an explosion happens and no one reacts. A fight breaks out and, beyond getting out of blast range, Things Are Completely Calm.
On top of this, Hibari and Yamamoto are Still Living There. Sawada is still living there, even if Iemitsu's in Italy. These families, like with their ancestors, still hold great ties...
But Tsuyoshi's Wife is Dead. We Never See Hibari's family, despite their prominence in Nanimori. If Iemitsu is in Italy, if Vongola is in Italy, why is Nanimori not holding a power void?
Because Nana is There.
Yet Nana Is Not There.
Something Happened and, well... It's not pretty.
So, go back, Before Tsuna, Before Timoteo, all the way back to Ieyasu, aka Giotto:
He has Two Children. He has his Older Child and his Younger Child.
The Elder Child, as shown with Enma, Takeshi, Yuni, etc, has inherited Ieyasu's Will. The second child, however, like shown with Ryohei and Kyoko, gains Traits of that Will, but they're a lot more like their unnamed mother.
Both sides of these two sons have both Elements and Children. Things get a little muddled, but they're both basically the Direct Line and the Line as Close to Direct as Possible.
But, rather than Iemitsu being from the Most Direct Line, from The First/Older Child, he's from the Younger/Second Child.
And Nana, she's from The First Son, as The Sky of Nanimori, the Brightest Sky in Nanimori.
And Iemitsu? A man who seems to have been raised by Vongola? A Man Raised in the Underworld?
He Hungers.
But Nana has her own Elements, her own life, she's like "Yeah, you seem nice... But will you Stay?"
It is a battle of Wills and her flames are Stronger.
So, oh, I don't know: Break the Sky Down by Destroying an Element? Either it was Him or an Element gets killed because of Iemitsu's Negligence as a Vongola Sky. Either way, it's not the worst thing a person from Vongola has done. In fact, because he's a Sky who's so Sweet on Her he can Fill in the Gaps, right? She's, at most, 21. He's 25, so he obviously has more experiences than she does. (Tsuna's 13, she's 34, Iemitsu's 38... I mean, I know powerful ladies who are mothers at 16-18 years old, because England, but Honestly? That's A-Level/Uni age. In my personal opinion? NnnO!!)
Anyway, with the loss, Iemitsu has a chance: he breaks her, makes her lose sight of everything and builds her up again, framing it to people like Tsuyoshi and Hibari's Clan as him helping his Sweet, Ailing girlfriend/fiance.
She marries him, she gets pregnant. Her Sky is No Longer There, but Iemitsu's Is. Nana's Elements, as a result, either Travel or Suffer.
Iemitsu Leaves. Those Elements now have to Fill In Things, bt not All Of Them Are There to Do So. A handful of years after, he takes along his Boss to meet Nana and Tsuna. Tsuna, obviously, is revealed to have Powerful Sky Flames. Both Italian Vongola men panic and, rather than alerting more Local Flame Groups, Such As the Hibari or Asari-Descended Clans, they go Full Mafia and SEAL A TINY CHILD! Nana doesn't even notice, she's Drugged on a Broken Sky and Iemitsu's Flames.
Another, larger amount of years and Iemitsu Returns, and This Time he's coming for His Son, and That is The Moment Tsuna Inherits, Bending under the Mafia and a Will that is most Certainly Not what he was Born With. It's framed as a growing moment from Zero to Hero, but He Was Put At Zero, and IT PISSES ME OFF! (Tho all the relationsips otherwise make me coo, LOL. Aaaa X'D)
AND THAT IS WHY I AM VERY DETERMINED TO MURDER IEMITSU!! THERE WAS NO ACTUAL CONSENT ANYWHERE IN THERE! HE JUST TOOK AND TOOK AND TOOK AND I AM!!! SO PISSED!!!

I meant to do a post about my thoughts on the Daily Life Arc now that I finished rereading it, but I can't seem to find the time and it's been a while now, and if I keep it up I'll forget what my thoughts are to begin with lol, so here's the long story short:
I know it's a long arc, as in it starts being boring and more or less unbearable past some point, because the "gag of the chapter" format only takes you so far, and not actually very far if Amano's humor doesn't work on you much, if at all. I don't think it's an arc you can reread right away/soon either, lest you feel that one flaw even faster.
And I felt it too, starting with the fourty-something chapters I felt like it was dragging on too much, though to be fair that probably had to do too with the fact I knew things much more interesting were coming after that.
Still, all that said, like, it's an enjoyable arc. Amano's humor happens to work on me, and she does it really well, and I liked reading the arc. There are some chapters where you're really asking yourself why they were written for lol, but even then you read it for the characters, and it somehow keeps you going.
And like, even though I think Amano could have seen the fact the comedy was going to turn repetitive and thus boring at some point, and try to diversify it or something, it's just how comedy/humor/gags works? Some jokes land and some doesn't, but for me at least a lot more of them worked than not.
The DLA is a good enough arc is what I'm saying.
------
On than note and on the contrary, of course it's fine if you think it's a bad arc, to each their opinion, but personally I really don't agree it's an unnecessary one.
I'm saying this because apparently it's not uncommon to advice new fans to skip the arc and directly start with the Kokuyo one? (Or so I learned on TV Tropes anyway, this might or might not be still relevent/accurate.)
Now don't get me wrong, the DLA does fail to hook the readers to the story for the reasons stated above, I agree with that, but it literally introduces the main character? And all the other characters, and gets us to know them, and establishes the dynamics between them and why they're the way they are, and, though only in a more or less superficial manner (and more than less) by design of the arc's purpose (not being deep in any way lol), it still gives us an insight into the characters and why they're the way they are. A glimpse into the core of their personality, the "stakes" of their characters, the flaws they have to overcome.
And all that in the context of their daily life, so if you skip it to go directly to the arc that challenges them, you can't appreciate fully how they rise to the challenge, how it shows their growth or reasserts their core values. You can't know how much or what it means, for example, off the top of my head, to have Yamamoto sacrifice his arm to beat Ken, when only a year ago he tried to kill himself over his broken arm. Or Hibari losing against Mukuro, thus telling us how much of a real threat he was. Or Tsuna screaming at Lancia for having hurt his friends, anger on his face, clearly despite himself, that Dame-Tsuna.
All these just wouldn't hit you the same, and it'd be such a shame? I mean I guess the ones who start with the Kokuyo arc go back to read the DLA, or you could compromise like the anime did by splitting the DLA between more serious arcs, but like I said I personally don't find the DLA that bad, so I still wouldn't advice it lol.
Even if, I suppose, it'd mean they might give up on the manga somewhere through the DLA, but like? Some mangas just don't speak to you, and that's fine, and it'd be a little of a shame from my POV as a KHR fan, but still, no big deal.
------
I'm still very impressed with how smoothly Amano went from a gag manga to a shonen one, and how she made it so the DLA still fits with the rest. I mean the sudden change in tone/stakes/etc is jarring, sure, but it's all based on stuff she introduced in the DLA, which she presumably came up with with no intention to ever make it something deeper/more meaningful.
It's easy to believe the foreshadowing, and generally speaking the worldbuilding was planned all along, which, again, probably not, and like? Super impressive.
(Though once more don't get me wrong, there are inconsistencies/plot holes in Amano's plotlines and worldbuilding, but not, like, at their seams, if I can say it like that? It's more often in the details, and it's fairly easy to fill in the blanks ourselves.)
------
Finally it was a lot of fun to rediscover the characters in a new light, and a bit of a disbelieving surprise tbh.
For context before I started my reread of the manga, all this time I was going with the time I read/watched it years ago plus the times I skimmed it, but mostly by all the fanon I was consuming. And it's not to say fanon is wrong per se, but it latched on one to three character's traits, or slapped an easy character archetype on them easy to "relate" to within, and apparently never looked back lol. And also often dialed up those traits (good or bad) in a very noticeable manner.
What I'm saying is, fanon is, in fact, wrong sometimes zldnslsz, and the characters are much more nuanced even in the DLA! (Which still leaves us at a more or less superficial level, because, you know lol, but still!)
------
To name the ones that stood out to me the most:
Nana isn't abused by Iemitsu, nor is she unhappy in her marriage despite Iemitsu being an absent husband (which is not relevent in the context of the DLA, but still, you can tell). She isn't an abusive mother to Tsuna either, and she is literally never an airhead. She literally just isn't, she actually does react very normally to the crazy Reborn brings with him, but much like Yamamoto as long as no one gets hurt (or walks it off), she just brushes it off.
And she has friends she goes listen to piano recitals with, and tries to save on money by eating rests, and gets in two-way arguments with Tsuna, and raises his allowance if he gets better grades to push him to work harder, and all around is just your average mom that really didn't read as just The Mom, if you know what I mean.
She has her flaws, definitely, she's not a great mom, namely is apparently used to call Tsuna Dame-Tsuna, but she's not just that.
She takes care of him, worries over him, and seems to be the only one who hasn't given up on him yet when the story starts. She supports him (though sometimes in a tactless to hurtful way), praises him when he does well, and trusts him to watch over the kids.
She's not that bad is what I'm saying, and 100% redeemable (that is, if you think she needs to be redeemed to begin with, which I actually do think she does, calling Tsuna Dame of all things is just a really shitty thing to do.)
(Though it's interesting to note that she doesn't do it again after what happened with Kyoko iirc, even if she might very well still talk to him in a belittling way at times. I just wish Amano would have commit fully to acknowledge it and resolve it, what with already having made it Kyoko's Dying Will Regret.)
(Edit: I had forgotten but she literally forgets his birthday while preparing someone else's birthday, so I take back that she is 100% redeemable because it's being too nice. But my point still stands.)
------
Haru is literally such a fun character, it makes me even more sad now to know what Amano did with her (nothing ansknslq 😭😂).
She's unhinged, has zero impulse control, does not reflect on the consequences of her lack of impulse control as Tsuna points it out, is ready and willing to throw hands at any given moment and is unapologetic of it, and is the one Amano actually calls an airhead.
The only problem she had with the mafia is that she thought Tsuna was forcing it on Reborn, and when she confirmed it was all true she literally didn't even blink at it, and immediately called herself the future Decimo's wife djosdkkd.
On that note she is literally mafia right from her first appearance, is more or less involved in almost all the mafia shenanigans, was right there with Tsuna & Co when they went to destroy the Tomaso's headquarters.
And like?? Amano could just have left it at that if she wasn't going to do anything else/more with it. Haru had so much potential, and not only Amano did nothing with it, she actually watered her down and took away all her distinct character's traits 😭.
------
Hibari is so much more feral and playful than his fanon cool, overpowered, quiet badass counterpart. Which I love too, don't get me wrong, but these two sides of him don't have to be exclusive!
He talks and smiles and jokes often, and shows off and casually insults you, and licks the blood away from his lips after having beaten bloody other middle schoolers who dared to defy him (I know this happens in the Kokuyo arc, but it illustrates my point the best).
Not much more to add than that, we should just acknowledge that and put it in our works more often.
------
Gokudera is a compelling character from the get go, and as far as the DLA goes, he's the most compelling character second to Tsuna. He's the only one to actually have flashbacks and a backstory. And what stood out to me the most that I don't see often in fanon, is that he's really a good friend.
Yes he has a short fuse and snaps easily and is easy to anger, but he's not always angry. And is seen having and being capable of positive exchanges outside of Tsuna (I'm thinking Yamamoto namely, who's made with Ryohei to be the one he gets angry with the most).
And yes he holds Tsuna on a pedestal and sees him through heavily tinted pink glasses, but even through that he's earnestly a good friend. And tries his best, and is hardworking and overachieving, so much so he messes up without meaning to, but he only ever has honest, straight-forward good intentions behind it all (well, maybe not always lol).
I love him a lot more now is what I'm saying.
------
And Tsuna. I'm not sure I'll be able to articulate my thoughts properly, but like... he's just your average teenager. Which of course is his whole thing, and I'm saying it in a very not judgy way whatsoever, but he's often made to be at least a little more than that, namely about his bullying.
Like, it's kind of dramatised in fics? And I'm not going to elaborate on that more because it might come out wrong and I don't want that, but it's just, like—canonically he is just bullied, simple as that. Like many other teenagers are.
And it's all in a "chill" way (for unfortunate lack of a better word, I don't mean to trivialize bullying at all, it's wrong and unfair and never deserved or okay, just so we're clear), and by the time the story starts Tsuna is used to it and has given up fighting against it, and actually finds refuge and a twisted comfort in embracing his Dame-Tsuna's monicker, because at least he's not gonna hit rock bottom deeper than that if he does.
And I'm not actually going anywhere with this, it's just? It hit me how differently canon and fanon portray his bullying.
Back on the note of him being a (below) average teenager, Tsuna is not an uwu pure cinnamon roll too good for this world.
He's literally so quick to judge and criticise, whether in his head or out loud when he knows more the person (namely Haru lol, poor girl), it was actually a bit of a shock tbh lol. He snaps easily, and is lazy, does not want to try even one bit, and is happy to run away from his responsibilities whenever he can.
And not only I'm not saying that in a judgy way this time either, but I'm actually saying it in a good way. He really felt like your average middle schooler, and it was so refreshing to see. That, plus the fact the narrative never holds it against him, let alone punishes him for it even if he's made to grow out of these traits, and it's literally part of his character arc, is kind of unique for the shonen genre (maybe, I'm not exactly a specialist of shonen mangas lol).
And I can see why you'd want to change it in fics, but personally I think it really makes his character's arc even more meaningful.

Possible Deleted Scene for Like A Natural Disaster + reasons why.
After class, Tsunami skipped out of her classroom only to stop when she spotted Hibari Kyoya. Also known to her as Feral-Sempai. He was glaring at her so he probably heard about her latest video. She grinned at him and he glared harder.
“Hi Feral-Sempai!” She waved at the boy. Everyone around her almost fell on their faces. It was hilarious. The boy snarled, the sound loud enough everyone heard. She just grinned.
“Herbivore,” the boy said loudly. “You continue to break the rules.”
“What rules?” Tsunami asked. “I’m wearing my uniform. I don’t have on my nails or make-up and my hair is up without a fun scrunchie or anything.” She crossed her arms. “Is there anything wrong with what I’m wearing?”
“You flaunt the rules on weekends-“
“Where you don’t have a claim.” Tsunami interiors easily. “You don’t control me on weekends Hibari. You don’t get a say in what I do.” She’s lucky that Namimorichu didn’t have Saturday school. Rumours said Hibari banned it cause it caused more crowding though she wasn’t sure about that.
The glare the older boy gave her just had Tsunami smirk wider. She hated being told what to do. She would listen to the rules and obey them sure but she refused to let anyone control her life. Wanting to be a trophy wife or not, she did not let others dictate who she was. She did that before.
“You are making a mockery of this school!” Hibari yelled. The people around them flinched back but Tsunami snorted. He wouldn’t hit her. Maybe out of some sort of guilt for her drowning due to him breaking the railing or perhaps due to her actually not breaking any rules.
“No I’m not. I’m living my own life and ignoring rules that don’t apply to me on weekends.” Tsunami sniffed. “I’m not being rude or cruel. Maybe I pushed it with the Feral-Sempai bit, but you don’t care about that.” Hibari scowled harder, pointing a tonfan at her.
“You are an anomaly.” The older student said. Tsunami shrugged.
“Oh? I think I’m more of a swan really. I leave people well enough alone unless they push first. I’m a herbivore with a taste for meat.” Tsunami shrugged. Hibari paused, and tilted his head.
“… Swan,” he said before walking away. The thump of one of her classmates behind her told Tsunami someone fainted.
Wimps. Hibari was easy to understand. You don’t mess with his territory and things worked out. The only reason he disliked Tsunami so much was because she never got into his world view. Something apparently she solved.
Reasons Why it May Get Cut:
-It's to early for this to occur.
-I feel like this is kind of rude towards Hibari and may not like be in line with his personality.
-I love the Swan bit but I just don't know...
-Would Hibari actually feel guilty over her near death? Dunno.
-I want them to be friendly antagonists more then full on and I don't know if this works.
Feedback welcome.

In another ask, you shared your thoughts on why you didn’t like 6996 etc. do you think 2795 share the same problem? I think while Tsuna and Kyoko doesn’t seem as weird as 6996 on the surface upon further speculation and reading works where Kyoko becomes this bamf vongola tenth wife who does anything for Tsuna, it sort of treads the same vibe as Chrome and Mukuro in some way. Idk I just want to hear your thoughts on maybe 2795 and maybe 2786 as well.
Hi hi
Had to search these because I literally did not have any ships for this show until I rewatched it and just merged my favorite characters into one pair that happened to be a ship. I  forget the others exist...With that being said, take this with a grain of salt because I honestly don’t even think about these ships a lot, forget they even exist. How KHR was written will always make the the very idea of Tsuna with any of the female characters feel weird or odd unless you’ve managed to read or create enough Fanon that changes your characterization of the original dynamic. I don’t think they share the same problem but maybe a similar one ? Tsuna and any female character compared to Mukuro and Chrome is very different in my opinion. (funnily enough it’s also because Mukuro isn’t a misogynist shsjsjsj) 6996 could work, they actually have a relationship that’s very personal to both parties and unlike 2795 they’re both aware of it and have a distinct unique connection with each other that consists of shared interests trust and mutual respect. it’s just odd to think about because chrome looks up to Mukuro and the power imbalance feels weird, he’s literally keeping her alive. (Which I know is disgustingly sweet I find it very heartwarming. )
2795 is this one sided crush with zero redeeming qualities. There was nothing remotely romantic or intriguing happening between Tsuna and Kyoko the entire series. If we took out Tsuna’s inner thoughts we honestly would’ve thought she was just this nice girl he knows from school. If we took out Tsuna’s thoughts in general and left it up to the fandom pulling this ship out of their butts it would honestly be 1000% cuter. All their interactions read like
“this girl is so lovely I really like her and she’s talking to me that’s amazing”
“Thanks for the pencil. Do your best on the test okay?”
I’m not swooning over the most lackluster interactions on the planet because he is over romanticizing it. Even the reason why he likes her is not that interesting or convincing. Which I mean I get it he’s only 14 he’s not thinking about all the small stuff like emotional support or validation or like not wanting to be alone etc. It’s still just you’re pretty let’s be happy all the time while you hold my hand forever. He deserves that he’s literally a kid. but even when i was younger i didn’t see it between them ever. On top of their interactions being boring they never give us things that make you go “oh wait she might actually like him hmmm” . they could have tried a little harder to make it a little more romantic? sometimes they show us Kyoko in a pink background hands clasped surrounded by hearts and I forget she’s supposed to be viewed in that light. I forget we’re supposed to actually consider her liking him too but what are we supposed to think Kyoko is looking for in a guy that makes Tsuna a possibility when she doesn't exist past eating cake and worrying about her brother and Tsuna. I think it’s also fair to note that they never imply that Tsuna actually thinks about her beyond his image of her but we see how caring he is with his friends to the point where he can point out their flaws and work through them anyways and accept them. Tsuna realizing Yamamoto was not himself during the Guardians trial is a perfect example of this, it establishes the relationship they built with one another. another example is Tsuna acknowledging that Gokudera is overwhelming and short tempered but he wouldn’t trade the guy for anyone because he is loyal and a good friend.  he cares for Kyoko as a person in general but he never reaches that depth when it comes to her. he doesn’t have to either because it’s just a crush, how you manage to take that through the next ten years of his life I honestly don’t know.
TL;DR : My ONLY problem with 2795 is the fact that there is nothing to work off of but the implication that Tsuna likes this girl and that’s why they are endgame. she matters very little, just a figurehead of his normalcy. she’s written just as badly in fics, can I blame you? no you were probably like 14 writing them. do a lot of people still do this ? yeah so i’m just not interested until the fanon has changed her character for everyone.
I know I sound super hypocritical because “Sprite what the fuck does 6918 have that’s soooo intriguing they actually canonically hate each other how is that any better.” the answer: Mukuro and Hibari have a more established relationship with mutual feelings than those two, even better they’re actually really strong feelings (of pure hatred). Bonus, despite being aloof both characters also have fully developed personalities and Opinions/Behaviors that we can mold however we please. they actually have a relationship to play around with that's what makes it fun and lets you have those “actually they’re pretty similar in this aspect” because you know shit about both of them individually.
Now for 2786,,, as i sit here and think about it Haru and Tsuna make so much more sense for all the reasons him and kyoko don’t .
Kyoko and Haru were already made solely to be Tsuna’s love interests (specifically Kyoko) , but then it went on to be something they didn’t even bother hiding when they reduced their characters and their interests to looking after kids and repeatedly worrying over Tsuna. The reason I don’t find it appealing is because there really wasn’t any dynamic there at all. This boy liked this girl and that’s literally all it was. She has no depth , and despite being written for him nothing about Kyoko screams you’re perfect for this kid. Nothing says, You’re compatible, You have common interests, you two can rely on each other. She was pretty and nice and polite and that’s all they shared along with half the cast. With Haru they went the completely opposite direction, this girl likes him and is upfront about it. she's not a better candidate just because she's not the typical pretty girl whos quiet and polite and caring,(She’s not the better written female character either, this is reborn. they all lose here.) she’s the better candidate because we actually have a personality to compare to Tuna's. she was purposely given this big personality because he was never going to be in love with her because she’s like all the other intruding figures of his life. Again we have this one sided crush, know he doesn’t like her at all but you can actually see where they do go right and wrong. she’s a complete person.
Haru can handle a little wild in her life, she was the first one to know he would be a mafia boss and it didn’t phase her at all. Tsuna might need that later in life.
In the future when Tsuna finds her crying she tells him not to think her feelings have anything to do with him, completely different dynamic from kyoko whos emotions are always directly related to male characters and what they are doing.
Haru and her cosplays are so perfectly absurd and she does not care how weird he finds them, she has this big embarrassing trait to her that Tsuna comically responds to but just grows to overlook and accept.
she actually talks to Tsuna quite a lot and helps him out whenever she can, because he doesn't like her she's allowed to actually exist in his world and he sees her fully because of it. It makes sense to see his significant other who will be involved in the mafia as an asset who he wants to protect and not just...something he needs to protect bc they honestly don't want this.
she interviews the entire cast of the show because haru just fits there, in a yamamoto like way, she can just handle it.
Tsuna and Haru could have been perfect friends or a couple. they had the grounds for it. it’s just not what he wanted but I can totally see them working out for each other later in life. they make so much sense! i’ll have to think about them more sometime soon.
Hope I answered you questions, this got long.
