I randomly got a pokemon hyperfix so welcome to my: prsk characters and their favorite pokemon (or the one most like them in my opinion based solely on designs bc i like them), most of these are the ones i see them having as a first pokemon (i mean, the evolved ones probably got the first version but yknow)

In other words

Kin typing prsk characters as pokemon (chaos edition)

I started with niigo since Mizuki and Sylveon is what started all of this idea.

Ok i know i said "the ones i see them having as a first pokemon" and Meloetta is a mythical but if you playing as a 10yo can catch one so can Kanade fuck it.

You guys have no idea how happy I was when seeing dog pokemon for An i found out that the one that felt like shed use the most was blue in the shiny.

Also, fun fact, im putting these in the order that im thinking of them in.

THESE WERE THE HARDEST TO FIT DUE TO EMPOLEON AND NINETALES BEING A BIT BIGGER, also bc they're jumping and i have less size notion with them in the fuckinf air.

Also, first one I didn't feel the need for a shiny, the designs fit easily without a change of colors.

If you were to give sonic a pokemon team what do you think he would have?

OOH okay okay i LOVE making pokemon teams for characters, for sonic specifically i think he would view a team more as like travel companions rather than a battle-ready squad, because as funny as it would be to see sonic the hedgehog using tiny animals to fight other tiny animals i don't think he would want to do that LMAO

i imagine he would have a very strange combination of Funny Little Guys that are like little flicky companions, and then the rest of his team are just Extremely Powerful Legendaries He Accidentally Stumbled Across

so i'm imagining something like this:

a few of these guys have dex entries about gravitating towards people with kindness (togepi, shaymin, latios), most of them are fast as hell, and some have dex entries that i really like.

So I found out in a Pokémon Masters OST comments section of all places that Atticus shows up as a special vendor in the auction market in Porto Marinada, and the things he sells are clothing items that are easter eggs from past games. The thing I find weird about it is that Atticus himself says that he "took inspiration" from clothing items to make replicas of them to sell. Which is fine except for the fact that there are some items he should have NO WAY OF KNOWING IT EXISTS.

So for funsies I'm ranking all of Atticus's auction items by how likely it is that he and the average Pokémon citizen would be aware of the existence of the things they're replicas of

Ball Guy Helmet: 10/10

Literally a famous sports mascot. Maybe if you weren't into battles you'd be unfamiliar with him but I bet if you typed Pokémon League Galar into PokéGoogle, he'd show up everywhere. There's merch of him too. Cursed, cursed merch. Plus, Penny is from Galar so she most likely told Atticus about the Ball Guy.

Replica Leader Bag: 9/10

More obscure than the Ball Guy, but again. Penny is from Galar, she probably informed Atticus about it. Marnie is the Dark Type Gym Leader at this point. Penny knows about Marnie as much as Paldea trainers know about their Gym Leaders, especially if Atticus decided to look for any neat styles he could copy from them.

Replica Dragon Gloves: 8/10

I fully blame Giacomo for this one. Had to Google Ryuki myself because I'm not familiar with his lore, but apparently he's a famous rock guitarist. Giacomo literally wrote the background music for Team Star, I bet he knows his musicians. I can 110% picture him running up to Atticus like "DUDE DUDE YOU GOTTA MAKE THIS"

Replica Expansion Suit Helmet: 7/10

Ranks surprisingly high considering that nobody in the Pokémon fandom knows what this it because 90% of players dont know that X and Y has a post game story, but assuming Scarlet and Violet takes place a few years after X and Y's post game, Emma has probably been working as Essentia for a few years at this point. A superhero working in the capital city of the region next door to Paldea is probably gonna be recognisable

Replica Aether Shoes: …..5/10???

Uhh….. Umm…. Huh????? I guess the Aether Foundation is famous… But THAT famous…? Would a guy in Spain know about an animal conservation company from Hawaii? And even if if they are that famous, I certainly don't know the kind of shoes Apple employees wear. Or Mc Donald's employees. Or literally any other multinational company. Why the shoes, Atticus? If you are unfamiliar with splatoon’s lore, Agara has been sanitized! Essentially, a company called Kamabo Co. recruits soldiers from the octarian military for “tests”, those who pass the tests get blended into primordial ooze, and that ooze is injected into other soldiers to do kamabo’s bidding. Sanitized octolings lose their will, memory, and life.

Trito and Kinoga, who were once soldiers that escaped to the surface after finding out what the “tests” were really for, return to the underground years later in search of the rest of their teammates. Denchu had stayed behind, telling them that Kanu and Jilon left for the surface, leaving Agara unaccounted for. Kinoga had faced sanitized Agara when they went through the tests. Horrified, Kinoga tries to avoid mentioning it, but Trito insists to go look for her. They eventually find her like that and decide to bring her with them in hopes of finding a way to return her to normal.

We (me and @igneouskit ) initially were just going to have her stay dead but we got attached to her ❤️

Agara and the rest of the squad follow a similar naming convention, they’re all based on pokemon, so I just take part of their japanese name. Alolan marowak is ガラガラ(Garagara) -> Gar(agara) -> Agara

good morning, decided to make Pokemon teams for the VLD squad out of the blue this morning so now I am sharing them all with you.

Keith's team. his mom left the Ultra Beast behind for him. I'm sure there's no need to read into that any. Ceruledge because it's the most painfully obvious Keith Pokemon to exist. Liepard bc well. it's a purple cat. Beheeyem is an alien. Don't question that one either. It's fine. It doesn't mean anything.

allura's team. cute, girly, and can definitely kill you. a Primarina as a nod to her becoming the blue paladin. Clefable because it's very cute and also has ties to space. don't worry about the paradox pokemon I'm sure it doesn't mean anything.

hunk's team. Pom-Pom Oricorio is literally the perfect Pokemon for him. It too, wants to cheer everyone on. Alolan Raichu instead of regular Raichu bc Alolan Raichu apparently gained that form bc it ate a bunch of pancakes. this is a very Hunk vibe.

the Pidge squad. She would have a Porygon2 instead of a Porygon-Z, I think. Ferrothorn bc it's a grass/steel type that connects both to her love of computers and the fact that she's the green paladin. look me in the eye and tell me Pidge wouldn't have a Vikavolt. You can't.

lance has a LOT of water, but also an Armarouge to contrast Keith. But also all but one of these Pokemon rotates around guns/cannons somehow! Swanna bc it's a graceful and pretty Pokemon that also isn't super difficult to obtain. I think Lance doing some contests with it is a good fit.

coran's theme was mustaches and silly little guys. don't worry about the paradox pokemon here either, it still definitely doesn't mean anything. Sealeo is unevolved bc it is the superior goofy little guy over Walrein.

finally Shiro, who was the hardest one to pin down for some reason. I think he'd have a pretty strong squad, and then the Mightyena he caught in the grass near where he grew up back when it was just a little Poochyena.

I'VE NEVER RLY THOUGHT ABT THE SECOND QUESTION OMG.... guz would absolutely gift juno a wimpod at some point though,, I like to think they go hunt for wimpods sometimes as a shared interest activity :D guzma would also definitely gift juno a cutiefly early on maybe before they start dating because... how could he not HFSDJKL, he is fluent in bug-types and would want to flirt through bug-types hehe :3 also somewhat related, once he finds out about juno's interest in cataloguing the differences in plants in the different regions, he'd probably look into the alolan variants of pkmn (like vulpix and meowth and rattata etc) and then try to impress juno w his (newly acquired) knowledge JFSJKL

juno would absolutely eagerly help him fill out his bug collection with some sinnoh bug-types that alola doesn't have !! (i need to make a list of bug-types that each region has tbh...) they'd gift him some they had in their storage box, and then help him catch any others when they go to sinnoh together :D

ooh okay i have thought abt this third question a bit fdsjkl it's so fun thinking abt the different personalities of their pkmn :3

golisopod puts on a tough act for like. a day at most. and then immediately crumbles and is actually just a big ol' softie so he warms up to juno pretty much immediately fdsjkl. ariados doesn't like juno very much just because juno's a little afraid of him dsgjkl but eventually the two of them come to some sort of mutual understanding where they get along in a vaguely strained manner (guzma never rly understands why the two of them don't get along well and tries to facilitate some bonding moments that go disastrously sideways somehow every time LMAO). scizor is kind of stand-offish and unsure about juno but once juno hangs around for a while and he sees more of them, then he accepts them as one of the squad! pinsir is a little mean (he's just mischievous tbh) and likes messing with juno but they eventually catch onto his pranks and antics, and turns it back on him one day and that earns his respect LMAO. masquerain is just happy that there's more people in the house and gets along really well with Greer to everyone's surprise, so he's a happy camper :] (at some point i want to create a proper team list for guz and maybe come up w names for them hehe)

Henry is a shy but proud lil guy and doesn't really trust Guz at first but trusts Juno's judgement so he warms up to the big boss man soon enough (plus Guz works hard to get on Henry's good side considering Henry never goes into a pokeball so he's around almost all the time LOL). Greer HATES Guz at first 😭 it takes her a long time to tolerate him - she finally starts turning around on her opinion of him when he helps Juno through a flashback/panic attack that she couldn't calm them down from on her own. Huey is super chill, so there's no issues there fdsjkl, I think he'd get along especially well with the grunts tbh LOL they'd probably try giving him a painkiller one day just to see what would happen and he'd be forever indebted to them (Juno finds out later and loses their mind because painkillers aren't made for pokemon and they have to rush him to a pokecenter to get him checked over JFDSKL). and Grimsby loves everyone, if you give him any bit of attention he'll love you forever, so Guzma gets on his good side pretty much right off the bat :3

★★.+* The video starts, Ms. Julie with one hand on the now recording Rotom, taking a gliding step back and smiling. Something about her expression is filled with endless excitement, endless anticipation. And upon taking a quick breath, she starts to speak.

"Alola, and good evening!" Beneath her speech, there's an automatic translation to Alolan.

"Now, a sudden Gastrodon record may seem relatively out of place for what we do here at the foundation," She looks down, moving around some papers on a desk before lifting them up some and tapping them flat, holding the writing against her chest. There's multiple sticky notes and paper clips pertruding out of the messy pile of paperwork.

"But that's exactly the point of this very first study I'm doing! Upon further investigation, we've started to notice some extra movement in the backrounds of some famous Ultra Beast's roaming spaces, which is odd, so we assumed it to be more of the same being! Nihilego are the most common of their kind amongst Ultra Deep Sea, of course! There's bound to be multiple of them in different sizes and shapes!"

She takes a step back, taking another breath. Her Antennae-like hair is spiraled at the ends, twinging every once in a while as she speaks.

"But that's when we looked closer. That's when we decided a few years back, hey, what would be the harm in exploring that otherworldly realm once again? And it pulled through and proved worthy!"

"There IS, other life amongst the Ultra Beasts, There's an ECOSYSTEM! Of course there is! Every species needs its support, after all, and noone would expect differently for Nihilego!"

She moves to the side, showcasing the wall of a blank room. Some Aether employees start scamper in front of their cameraman, but once I made an "Eh-Hem!" noise, they got the message.

"And therefore, we cannot thank our lovely comrades Zossie and Phyco enough for their contribution, allowing the power of their Legendary travel partners to help us access the realms we wish to explore!"

Julie taps the papers she's holding against her non-grasping hand, an employee scurrying beside her at her beck and call. She mumbles something, dropping her cheery expression for a serious, almost annoyed one. The Employee nods a few times, sprinting back off screen as the mystic cry of a powerful Pokémon rings in the background.

Julie turns around, her hair twangs straightening out. She presses a button behind her, talking to someone else. The only comprehensible part of the mumbling is a "Thank you" quickly added at the end.

She turns up again, giving a thumbs up to someone behind the camera.

"Ready when you are!"

She looks happy at first, but another huff of the creature is enough to visibly make her jump some. She runs off camera as it begins to pan back up towards the blank wall.

The lights seem to unintentionally dim, a blue hue taking up the majority of the space, as it slowly grows brighter, brighter, before a heavenly chime is heard, like two large rings klanging against each other. In the area on the wall, a white break appears, almost like shattered glass.

"Keep it going, Zossie!"

"Yes'm!"

Some loud puffs are heard, like the beast is growling as the portal continues to open. Flap, flap... The sound of wind beating against the microphone isn't doing many favors for the sound quality of it all.

Suddenly, the room goes deathly quiet for a moment, before the beast lets out an ear-shattering roar, forcing the Ultra Wormhole the rest of the way open. This distorts the camera some, it can't keep up with the array of flashing lights it's showing off.

For a split moment, the Lunala is seen flying through the portal, Zossie of the Ultra Recon Squad on its back, hooping with excitement before her voice cuts out with collision with the portal.

"And now," Julie announces, "The secondary source of our hope for this project! Behold, the Ultra Deep S-"

"GAAAAHH!"

WHACK! And suddenly, this strange, fish-like creature pops out instead! It smacks the camera directly in the lens, causing it to freak out and try to wipe off what looks like gelatin, from the blurred first-point perspective. It exclaims "Ew ew ew!"... despite not being able to feel through the Rotomdex. hehe.

Julie's found herself toppled over, backed into a corner against this strange fish on the floor. It looks around for a minute, blinking its pure white eyes. As it turns to Julie, she says...

"... What the... what in the GUARDIAN'S name is this thing!?"

And commands me to turn off the video. So I did. *+.★★

ok so like. I just frankensteined together the parts of sm/usum that I enjoy. so basically. its sm's story except edited to include the cool new ultraspace stuff and necrozma. lusamine is fucked up again because she deserves to be.

she retains her usual ub obsession and with her forays into ultraspace research she gets the attention of the ultra recon squad who ask her to help with the whole necrozma thing. up until that point they had managed to keep necrozma docile but the ultra megalopolis citizens are getting more and more uneasy that their Solution (elio. its elio. long story very short: robot. put robot in tower distract necrozma from going off and eating more suns.) will not last forever.

good idea on the surface to get assistance from someone who seems like she knows what shes doing but lusamine does just end up making things worse for everyone in her pursuit of Control by later on fusing with necrozma <3

wow I did not know I had that much to say about that side of the plot. ok protag time. moune is mixed (half kantonian/alolan) they used to live in pallet town but after. Something. happens to their family situation (Probably with their dad) (I havent fully decided yet) they and their mom decide to reconnect with their alolan heritage and move there :) something something themes of finding somewhere to belong found family etc etc at some point theres lesbians (awesome) at other points theres trauma but you dont need me to tell you that. theyre a pokeprotag what are you expecting

Nothing is better than Alolan Exeggutor

Exeggcute is eggs? Or maybe it's seeds? I'm pretty sure it's eggs though. It's some kind of ovum.

And much like with Voltorb... I mean what are you supposed to say? It's a bunch of circles with eyes on them, it's an emoji squad. I do appreciate that they seem to have a range of personalities, even if it's literally only expressed through... expressions.

Exeggutor is another story though, this pokémon is an absolute delight. It's based on a palm tree, although the few lines around its rotund body don't necessarily do the best job of communicating this, but there's something just so delightfully charming about these dopey faces waddling around on those stubby little legs, with the palm leaves coming out of its head acting like a spectacularly silly haircut.

But it gets better. Alolan Exeggutor is the peak of character design. I'm sorry, nothing is better than this. Nothing is better than this goofy-ass dumb-looking absolute perfect himbo of a character design. Literally the only thing that could make it better is if it was somehow a fucking dragon. WHICH IT IS. If not for Exeggcute dragging it down, it would be perfect.

I think there’s a lot of potential with the concept of post-ORAS Zinnia going to Alola during the events of SM/USUM

Maybe she encounters Team Skull, that group of knaves who (in their mind, at least) failed to live up to the expectations of Alolan culture and to clear the island challenge. Maybe she warms up to them since she also got burnt by her own expectations of what she was supposed to achieve

Maybe she somehow gets involved in the Rainbow Rocket business and confronts alternate-timeline Archie and/or Maxie. Maybe she deals with the sacrifices she chose to make when assisting Team Magma/Aqua in ORAS, as well as the destruction she prevented (or only delayed) in destroying the Link Cable.

Or maybe she becomes friends with Ryuki and somehow stars in one of his music videos. Or maybe she befriends some of the Ultra Recon Squad and they have a long conversation about the similarities/differences between how the Draconids interacted with Rayquaza and how the citizens of Ultra Megalopolis interacted with Necrozma.

lot of potential for some fanfic here, I would maybe write some myself if I actually had the executive function to consistently write

Black Bulls = PKMN Types

Been in a big PKMN mood recently, and I love how I can list each and every black bull under one type based on their powers, personality or overall vibes, filling up all the 18 types. Not only that, but they can even fill the roles of gym leaders (with two duel-typing gyms), elite four, the champion, even professor and rivals.

Let’s get a little fun here and pretend that you’re a new member and just get your robe, but now you need to get stronger and go through the one and only Black Bulls league!

Only Rock and Dragon left, but I like to think that Marco and Marie will join the squad later on and respectively represent the missing types, so in this context... they’ll be your rivals.
