Mud Ripper - Almudron Dual Blades
Almudron has amazing weapon designs! His equipment and armor don’t exactly fit with his look and MHRise’s theme because they look futuristic, but I’m not complaining since I miss the wacky designs in the older series.
I’m just wondering why Valstrax - the monster that shoots lasers and flies with jet propellers - doesn’t have mechanized weapons and equipment?

Oh, that is sudden. Pray tell, if its not too personal to ask, why are you moving there? Kamura is pretty isolated and although the climate can be accommodating for many monsters, moving the whole Rehabilitation center sounds cumbersome.
Several reasons. Two of which I can tell you immediately.
Recently a lot of our rescues are native to Kamura and with the Rampage numbers of certain species are rather low, Huggies and Emmett are prime examples of creatures that will be released to help restore the population.
Secondly;
Your eyes do not deceive you; that is a larval Gore Magala.
Note how the immature eyes are not yet obscured by the innate glow of a Magala further along in its development.
Before anyone asks: this is a cadaver brought back from a field excursion. We would not host a live one in our sanctuary for rather obvious reasons.
Gore Magala are arguably not native to Elgado - which is close to Kamura - so we have to investigate as to why they're showing up now and prevent a worse disaster from happening to the animals that live in both areas. Should the Gore Magala travel to Kamura and mature further: the already decimated population may actually fail to recover.
Thirdly, I'm sure many are now aware of the presense of the Elder Dragons Ibushi and Narwa. There's more work to be done to properly classify and perhaps even co exist with such fearsome creatures. After all; it's not every day that someone can resonate with what could be argued as being the incarnations of destruction and renewal.
That and...it bothers me. There's something about us being asked to hunt down a mating couple of elder dragons that we do not know the numbers of nor the rarity of such couplings to ascertain the right to hunt them. We could potentially wipe an entire species off the surface of the world through ignorance and I don't think mankind has the right to do so. Hell; we assume through translated words that they wanted the destruction of everything - but language is a tricky thing, and even more so with creatures that may just not have, nor comprehend a word for what they truly mean.
There's so much to research and find out, and I need to know the truth.
Besides, it's becoming obvious we cannot continue in Astera as we are.
