Royal Star Shield - Guild Palace Charge Blade

A popular Charge Blade weapon request that I’ve made thrice now. It still takes me a long time to make despite knowing the whole process on how to do it. 😅 Patterns are such a pain to do, but weapons that are heavily detailed are the most satisfying ones to create.

I wish people would ask me to make a Royal Palace weapon other than the CB… The Switch Axe one looks beautiful, too!

Teostra’s Emblem - Teostra SnS

Another Teostra weapon! Woohoo! 💕 SnS doesn’t get as much love as the other weapon types, but I absolutely adore it. Had fun sculpting and detailing the lion emblem. I wish Lunastra also has a unique weapon design…

As usual, I went all out on the glow pigments. If a gold glow pigment exists, I would have done that, too.

Despot's Twinbolt - Zinogre Insect Glaive with Carnage Beetle Kinsect

Bag o' Horrors - Khezu Hammer

Here’s another Khezu weapon that the same darling person who commissioned a Khezu Hunting Horn asked me to make. I absolutely adore Khezu weapons because they are so gory and unique!

Kinda makes me want to sculpt the monster itself, preferably eating a Kelbi… because that creepy asf Khezu ecology cutscene has been imprinted in my mind.

Icegale - Velkhana Sword and Shield

Another Velkhana weapon! Just like the others, it’s very detailed-oriented and difficult to paint, but hey, you guys know me by now. The one who commissioned me to do this actually wanted a MUCH simpler SnS (Cat Burglar SNS, I think it was?), but I suggested this instead because I’m a girl who’s a sucker for challenging pieces even if it means having neck cramps for weeks! 😆

Dawning Tranquility - Shara Ishvalda Hammer

Vorpal Icefort - Velkhana Gunlance

Holy cow I had a lot of fun with this one! The designs of Velkhana weapons are just so pretty and elegant! 💕

The patterns, as usual, were a pain to do, but it’s all worth it in the end. I shudder to think of the process of sculpting and painting the Velkhana GS or SA, but apparently I’m a masochist so it’s hyping me up to make them even more!

Redwing Claymore - Valstrax Greatsword

I didn’t play MHGenU, so I was really excited to fight Valstrax in MHRise! I’ve always thought Valstrax looked out of place in Monster Hunter because of his rocket propeller wings, but his fight definitely didn’t disappoint! 💕 Looking forward to sculpt more of his weapons! Neon red paint proved very useful to highlight the reddish aura on the blade.

Eradication Flame - Nergigante Gunlance

I love Nergigante’s weapons because the designs are unique and incredibly fun to make! My favorite is the bow, and I still remember struggling with that one because of the spikes. This one is more forgiving and less delicate.

I honestly had more trouble with the wires. I had to be extremely careful not to put too much pressure or make scratches on the paint. By the time I was done, my hands were all clammy and jittery from nerves.

I was debating whether I should post the Royal Star Shield instead of this one, but since this is the first time I made Nergigante’s Gunlace, this takes priority. 💕

Mud Ripper - Almudron Dual Blades

Almudron has amazing weapon designs! His equipment and armor don’t exactly fit with his look and MHRise’s theme because they look futuristic, but I’m not complaining since I miss the wacky designs in the older series.

I’m just wondering why Valstrax - the monster that shoots lasers and flies with jet propellers - doesn’t have mechanized weapons and equipment?

Fond Farewell - Mizutsune Switchaxe

It feels weird not to put any glow in the dark pigments on a Mizutsune weapon… The blade that should have the glow pigments is tucked in the back, so even if I want to put the pigments, it won’t make any sense once the weapon is displayed.

I hope it still looks pretty enough even without the glowing parts. 😅

My very first weapon from MHFG! I’ve never played that game before and I have no idea what the actual name of the weapon is. I really wish the mainline games would import more monsters from that game because I’ve seen a lot of interesting and freaky monsters there.
