Ho, ho, ho!
Hello dear! It's me again, here to ask you some more questions!
I'm in full agreement with you about the tropes, especially the ones in acomaf. I'm a sucker for the one bed trope, so i was screaming my head off during the inn scene.
Today I want to know what your favorite artists are! Tell me all about your spotify wrapped (if you have one). Last time you mentioned listening to Can't Help Falling In Love, I absolutely adore that song!
Do you have a favorite song at the moment? One that's constantly stuck in your head or playing on repeat?
I hope you're having a happy monday! Sending you a bottomless cup of warm hot chocolate!
-🤫🎅
Good day Santa! Sounds like we have lots in common ahah
I usually prefer a single song over artists, with a few exceptions.
About rock and pop artists, I liked a lot of songs from: Queen, The Score (their album called Atlas is *chef kiss*), P!atd, plus an Italian artist who puts a lot of literary and artistic references in his songs in an album.
But what I loved the most was classical music. I'm stuck dancing in my head on:
"Winter I." of the Four Seasons by Vivaldi (since months and months before it was used for Wednesday by Netflix).
"Waltz of the flowers" and "Waltz of the snowflakes" by Tchaikovsky (basically all of the Nutcracker tracks are wonderful and dreamy).
"Carol of the Bells" and many others.
Let me know if you need artists like painters or similar😅 Have the most amazing monday Santa, festivities are almost here!!🥛🍪

Omg, saw that you liked/mostly listen to classical music? Do you have any classical music recommendations? I like to listen to classical music too when I'm doing school work, and it just makes it more bearable lol. After not knowing the name of it for so long yet loving the sound of it, I just recently discovered the song was called 'the swan by saint saens' :)
hi, anon !! (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ i do listen to classical music, especially when i study or do my schoolwork, too !! it makes me productive for some reason but i am complaining bc i need all the concentration for this semester. aaaaaa saint saens' the swan is in one of the playlists i listen to ⸜( ˙˘˙)⸝.
for recs, hmm, everything by pyotr (fcking) tchaikovsky. i know that sounds so aggressive but his compositions are just [chef's kiss], no words needed. lacrimosa by mozart makes me feel like i'm unearthing this great secret in a forbidden library while doing my revision notes dejkdej. danse macabre and carnival of the animals, aquarium by saint saens are amazing, too! the latter of the two has been stuck in my head for so long after hearing it from a movie, great thing i found the title. debussy's and chopin's compositions are great if you want an airier atmosphere while studying. i think chopin's nocturnes was what made me listen to his works. vivaldi's winter can make you feel powerful while tackling your homework, it made me finish one in less than an hour holy shit fjeijf.
the classical music i listen to are all from various playlists in youtube (their spotify links are there, too!) --- ultravclet makes awesome classical playlists ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈♡).

smelly candles, the color orange, scarves, rain, and leaves!
Smelly candles: what’s your absolute favorite scent?
I think that might have changed recently because I just got some solid perfume that is FANTASTIC and I think this is what I have to smell like all the time now. It’s called I’m Home by Lush. If you are near a Lush it is absolutely worth it to get it because the solid perfumes are only like $12 for a little pot and you do not need much to get a nice aroma that lasts pretty much all day. Seriously, I put it on before I go to work and I can still get a hint of it by the time I get home.
The color orange: do you have a specific song that reminds you of autumn? what is it?
Not really specific songs, but I DO think of specific musicals, namely The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas. They manage to encompass Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas all by themselves, but also it makes me think about how there AREN’T really a lot of things set around Thanksgiving besides Whorehouse.
Scarves: *looks at list* Oh, there are two of these! I guess I’ll do both?
Scarves: What’s your favorite album to listen to in the fall?
I suppose this is TECHNICALLY the time of year when I start listening to The Nutcracker. Even if it is set around Christmas, this is one of those times when I don’t mind getting an early start on the Christmas music. I’m a sucker for Tchaikovsky, and it gets me in a holiday baking mood.
Scarves: if you could only wear one outfit for the rest of your life what would it be?
A nice, comfy sweatshirt, some comfy jeans, and a nice pair of ballet flats on the condition the weather is always perfectly crisp for it.
Rain: How do you spend a rainy day in?
You guys have probably seen my setup for this, but here it is again! It’s a beautiful, stormy day, big gray clouds filling the sky so full it’s as though you’re under a huge quilt just rolling with thunder and a good proper downpour. I’m in the house having just enjoyed a nice hot bath. I’m in a sweatshirt and some lounge pants. I’ve fixed up a mug of tomato soup with plenty of rosemary because I’m a weirdo who drinks my soup instead of eating it with a spoon. I’ve also got a grilled cheese sandwich and either a fresh cup of coffee with rose syrup and cardamom or a cup of Earl Grey tea. And I am marathoning the HECK outta some movies, especially horror movies like the later Saw films. (Saw 7 is a comedy and no one can change my mind.) My sofa is set up so I can have my blinds open and watch the rain while enjoying my movies. The only thing better is when the rain lasts into the night and I can hear it coming down on the roof while the wind sings outside as I crawl into bed.
Leaves: What’s your favorite color the leaves turn?
That really dark red, we’re talking scarlet. All the leaves are beautiful, but that deep but vivid red? *chefs kiss* Perfect.

pairing: kim seokjin x gender neutral! reader wordcount: 883 chapter summary: it’s your birthday, and you’re determined to enjoy it. that is, if the handsome chef at the restaurant you’re at doesn’t kill you first.  notes: wrote this as a birthday gift for a jin-biased friend. hbd, bb!! <3 hope you enjoy it. (also on ao3.)
When you walk into the restaurant you'd booked a table at three days before, you have no idea what you're about to get into. From the outside, it looks like a cosy place, the tiny window beside the door covered with vines you'd reached out to touch exactly two weeks ago, confirming they were real. You had leaned in, tilting your head at the silkiness of the leaves, when something outside your focus caught your eye. It was a glimpse, a moment when your gaze connected with someone else's, but you found yourself thinking about it the rest of the week.
Now that you're inside, you wonder if you've made the wrong decision. There's hardly anyone here, just another customer sitting by the piano—that they managed to fit one in here is a feat of interior design—and a waiter who barely manages to smile at you fully. You half-wince, half-smile at him out of politeness, glancing at his name tag to address him properly.
Before you can say anything, however, Yoongi makes a circular motion with his hand and says in a monotone, "Thank you for your reservation. Feel free to take any table here." He points at the only occupied seat, ignoring the look of indignation that crosses the diner's face. "Even that one, if you like. He hasn't bought anything besides that coffee six hours ago."
You can't bring yourself to respond because all your attention is focused on the man behind the bar. If all the figures in your textbooks looked like that, studying for med school would have been a hell of a lot easier. Your gaze lingers at his broad shoulders and full lips, but when you meet his eyes, you know he'd been the one to draw you here in the first place. He lights up when he sees you, his smile making him even more beautiful. "You must be _____!" He claps like a seal, the grin on his face wide, and you find yourself walking closer.
He offers his hand for you to shake, and you barely resist the urge to kiss his fingers. "I'm Kim Seokjin, but you can call me Seokjin. I'm part-owner, chef, and bartender of this lovely establishment. I'm happy to have you here." You take a seat right in front of him and watch as Seokjin glances at Yoongi, his eyes bulging out as he inclines his head at the piano and clears his throat pointedly. Yoongi releases a long-suffering sigh and moves to the piano, his fingers tapping at the first few notes of a Tchaikovsky piece. You're not ashamed to admit to yourself that this is your perfect romantic fantasy. You just need to hook your leading man in.
You glance down before looking up at Seokjin, gathering your nerve. "It's actually my birthday today," you say quietly, "so I'm hoping you'll show me a good time."
His expression changes for a split second, lust filling his dark brown eyes. Then Seokjin smirks, throwing his arms out wide. "You've come to the right place, my dear." He tweaks your chin before turning around to get a bottle of champagne. "Would you like to avail of our one-of-a-kind birthday course?"
"Can my wallet handle it?" you say bluntly, raising an eyebrow at him.
"Wall-let me see." Unable to keep a serious expression on, he bursts into squeaky giggles. You find yourself laughing along, wondering how many sides of Seokjin you're going to see tonight.
The two of you agree to a bill threshold and Seokjin quickly moves to the back room, bringing out some cheese and fruit to go with the alcohol. The meal goes on much the same way, you imbibing a little too much wine and finding Seokjin's shitty puns funnier as the night goes along.
Though you'd swear there are sparks flying in the air, Seokjin keeps glancing at his phone. You wonder, then, if there's someone else, if he's just being extra nice to his first and only real customer of the day. It's when you're finishing off the last of the chardonnay he poured in your glass that the lights go dim. Seokjin's perfect mouth goes perfectly round as he sings Happy Birthday, Yoongi accompanying him on the piano. Another voice joins in, and you turn around to see the customer from earlier holding up a cake with candles bent in the shape of a heart.
The song ends, and Jin smiles at the man now standing beside you. "Always a reliable birthday fairy, Jimin, though it's just two minutes past midnight"
"Yeah, yeah. That's a full week off my coffee tab," Jimin says, though the corner of his mouth is upturned. "I'm going home before you make me your full-time delivery boy. Happy birthday to you, _____."
You're speechless, the blush high on your cheeks. Jin looks at you, as if he's worried you're not happy the most handsome man you've ever met in your life fed you delicious food and surprised you for your birthday. "Th-thank you, Seokjin." You stand up on the bar stool to give him a kiss on the cheek, and the shocked expression on his face makes you wonder if you've read the situation wrong. Seokjin beams at you.
"Better chocolate than never, eh?"
