How they spend valentines with you

Content; 100% fluff, all characters are written romantically, OOC, some characters are written short based on me not knowing how to type/write for them Warnings; GN reader Characters; EVERYONE (Heartsteel, KDA, True Damage)

Indoor dates; Aphelios, Akali, Senna, Yasuo

They choose to spend their valentines day with you indoors; either because they simply prefer it that way, or just want to spend it alone with you ⎯ away from the eyes of onlookers who are desperate for gossip.

Aphelios and Yasuo are introverts at heart, so being away from people is like a blessing to them both. How they'd choose to spend the day with you depends on the current mood they're feeling, for example: wanting to do something that doesn't require much work like watching a movie is one of the go-to's he'd do for valentines. Or on the more rarer occasions where he's wanting to feel genuine and sincere, he'd take some time off idol work to compose a personal song for you ⎯ one that isn't technically sung by him (most likely asked one of their members to sing in his steed) but can be used for karaoke, or background music during dinner.

Akali and Senna are the same as the other two ⎯ both being introverted but also not really? In the pre-tense of it she simply has a hard time getting along with people but would put up some sort of effort when it comes to you. However on this day, she'd much prefer to spend it alone with you. The list on what you would do with her varies on the basics of what most couples do on this day: movies, snacks, dinner, etc. I feel like in a way, Akali would want to spend valentines like how regular couples would ⎯ setting aside her role as an idol.

Outdoor dates; Kayn, Sett, K'Sante, Evelynn, Kai'Sa, Ekko

Kayn and K'sante are the types who'd want to make this day as memorable as he can for you; spending however much money he can offer to spoil you for the whole day. Though I can only imagine for Kayn he'd chooses to spend his money on bringing you to a concert that both you and him have been waiting to attend, whereas for K'Sante he's the type that'll carry all the bags you've bought and take you to a fancy restaurant to dine in.

^ You can also say this would be something Evelynn would also do for you, in terms of taking you out and spoiling you, then bringing you somewhere fancy. She has the power to do so, so why not use it to her advantage, no? At the end of it all you'd both be sitting in a high view building, watching as the city lights coat the streets before calling it a night with sweet kisses and longing words to each other.

^^ Kai'sa somewhat doing the same as what Kayn did, however, instead of just attending 'a' concert ⎯ she'd be giving you tickets to hers and her group's concert instead (i'm sorry idrk how to write for her)

Sett on the other hand is taking you on a walk. Yes, a walk. Varying between places like parks or a walk down the streets ⎯ to taking you on a hiking trip to the mountains. Of course he isn't gonna force you to keep climbing when you're getting tired, but instead of taking a break by sitting down somewhere, he'd continue the walk with you on his back or shoulders. To him it's a win-win situation: You get to rest for a bit, while he continues to walk and show you the amazing view of the place AND technically speaking, this would count as a workout for him, right? I will say at the end of it all, he'd have at least one or two things prepared when the walk is over (your gift).

Ekko is a man who's lived in the street since he was a kid; dealing with hardships and whatnot through out his life already, he'd hope to at least spend one of these days, this day in particular, where he can spend money on you. That's his wish, and with the amount he earns as a Idol ⎯ well, i guess you can say a part of his wish did come true.

A mix between both; Ezreal, Yone, Ahri, Qiyana

In the case of becoming hit stars, and especially being the fans' faves; Ezreal and Yone's schedule are so packed, they have to plan their valentines day to be both indoors and outdoors. For Yone it'd be indoors > outdoors, starting his valetines indoors first because there were still some things he needed to check over before going outdoors with you to spend the rest of your valentines day with him. Ezreal's valentines, however, started off with an outdoor date in mind but then switched to indoors the moment fans caught sight of him and he had to cancel it all ⎯ making him somewhat depressed for the most part because he tried so hard to make this day perfect for you both, but seeing as it was still a day you can spend together, outdoors or not, he's happy as long as he's with you.

^ The same can be said for Ahri, she has plenty of fans who'd want to talk and take pictures of her when she's outside so the outdoor date she had in mind suddenly turned indoor the moment fans caught wind of her activities.

^ As for Qiyana, it'd be similar to Yone but not exactly ⎯ she'd want to spend the day resting a bit longer in bed with you during the start of the day and then spend the rest outdoors; via going to a club or a bar.

full “bios”:

yasuo:

yasuo grew up in a small mountain village alongside his brother, yone. parentless and illegitiamate, he was treated poorly by other children, and was consequently never able to connect with others very well. he grew up quite lonely despite being very gifted, and his feelings weren’t helped by yone, who continuously pushed him to do better at academics and athletics where he attended school about an hour from their home; this made him feel extremely pressured and lonely throughout his childhood, causing him to act out.

he oftentimes did physical labor around the house; among other things, he took care of their house’s piping system. when he was seventeen he failed to notice a gas leak due to being out of the house after a fight with yone, which caused an explosion that destroyed most of their small home and killed their foster grandfather souma. plagued by guilt and shame, yasuo away from home and didn’t speak to yone for several years.

he’s struggling with having yone around again and is uncomfortable with having him in his home, but he feels too guilty to push him away. alongside being much more mild-mannered in recent times, he has period periods of intense, deep depression that debilitate his ability to function; these were alleviated, however, once he met ahri, who he loves deeply but doesn’t feel adequate for.

ahri:

ahri’s fun, flirty personality masks deep feelings of insecurity and loneliness; an abandoned child who was ostracized for being both asian and a vastaya, she struggled with substance abuse and an eating disorder later on in life. she’s only had one real boyfriend, who died in a car accident that she feels responsible for, as she was driving him home from work late at night intoxicated, unbeknownst to him. all of this means she has found it nigh on impossible to form bonds with others, either.

yasuo was one of the first real friends she’d ever made; he genuinely makes her feel loved, which is why she feels so sad when she sees her own destructive tendencies reflected in him. she’s immensely grateful for the happiness and community—in the form of their mutual friends sarah, illaoi, braum, and pyke—he’s brought into her life.

in her spare time, she’s attempting to track down her birth parents in order to receive some closure on her family status.

yone:

yone was seven when yasuo was born and their mother passed away. though their foster grandfather souma had loved them deeply, he was too old to do much for their small family; thus, yone started working at an early age to provide for himself and yasuo, after having taken care of the house for several years prior to then. the circumstances he’s faced and sacrifices he’s had to make—as well as his general feelings of inadequacy stemming from never having finished school and, in that regard, feeling inferior to yasuo—led him to develop high expectations for his brother, who was their only hope for getting a secondary education and out of poverty. yone adored yasuo and only wanted to push him to do his best, but had a difficult time expressing that well; as a result, he failed to notice the pressure he put and borderline abuse he inflicted on yasuo, and was always confused as to why he was so irritable and lashed out so often. yasuo acting up only led yone to be harder on him, which made their relationship worse. yone was heartbroken when yasuo left, as he saw himself a failure given that he believed that the accident had been intentional on yasuo’s part. he’d never laid a hand on yasuo until earlier that day, when an argument about yasuo’s behavior had turned physical. if he had done things differently, he believes the situation could have been avoided.

yone was able to move away from the village when he no longer had two others to care for, and eventually got an associate’s degree from a community college. however, a massive stroke of bad luck—in which he got fired in downsizing and his apartment burned down—meant he was forced to move in with yasuo and ahri as he didn’t have anywhere else to go. the situation is quite awkward, and yone isn’t quite sure how to start repairing the damage that’s been done.

taliyah:

taliyah is yasuo and ahri’s upstairs neighbor, though she only met ahri after the two of them moved in together. like the two of them, she feels a deep disconnect from her peers and doesn’t quite feel understood by anyone, especially due to the fact that she’s a trans girl. she feels very well taken care of by yasuo, though, who she sees as an older brother. she’s quite anxious about going off to college and has an irrational fear of yasuo not caring about her anymore when she leaves, given that she relies on him quite a bit, and especially due to the fact that he’s mentioned he’s considering proposing to ahri.

general stuff:

i imagine this whole au as a comic or a cartoon

everyone is about six or seven years younger (besides ahri) than i think they are in canon since i wanted taliyah to be a teenager. thus, their ages are those of when taliyah was still yasuo’s apprentice; in canon i think that she is about 23, he is about 30, and so on.

i’m not really sure where this takes place? i wanna say wherever bilgewater is based on given that that was where the rk gang all met, so maybe honolulu/hawai’i’s big island due to the polynesian influences present in the buhru people’s culture. as for time, this is probably the mid-late 00s/early 2010s. yone found yasuo through social media.

yone is fully japanese, while yasuo is mixed japanese and pakistani. ahri is korean. taliyah is egyptian and sunni muslim, but not hijabi.

like in canon, yasuo got the scar on his nose from the final fight he had with yone. it’s also permanently crooked from breaking his nose in that same altercation. yone’s two are from then as well.

though vastaya have some spiritual power and live slightly longer than humans (about 100-130 years), their lifespan and abilities are not nearly as vast as they are in runeterra. like in canon, though, ahri is proportionately about the same age as yasuo.

yasuo and ahri met while yasuo was working at a grocery store.

yone and ahri got off on bad terms when he, subconsciously retaining prejudice from his traditional upbringing, mistakenly believed she was yasuo’s housemaid due to her being a vastaya. she was incredibly offended, almost kicked him out, and refused to speak to him for several weeks. eventually they make up and get along alright, but that’s only really because she made an effort for yasuo’s sake. otherwise, she probably wouldn’t have talked to him ever again.

i think i’ll put riven in this at some point, but she’s still tied to the accident that kills souma. souma kept some small cultural artifacts in his home, which riven was tasked with stealing by the small criminal group she grew up in: she snuck in through the basement, but was caught stealing by souma and forced to leave without her prize; in her haste, she damaged a pipe near where she’d come in and left. she didn’t find out about the incident until much layer and feels horrifically guilty about it, especially because yasuo’s reputation was ruined after it happened (even if he was never convicted of anything).

a lot of other characters are connected to these four. besides the ruined king group, who are friends with yasuo and ahri, a lot are interconnected. some examples are:

sarah knows t.f. (tobias felix) and graves from work. graves is friends with vayne, who tobias is jealous of, and tobias dances on the weekends with evelynn, who graves is jealous of. it’s a whole thing. they live together and work together, but aren’t dating. yet. graves also knows the sentinels of light. vayne and sarah have like. a weird lesbian thing going on. and that is pure self-indulgence

yone’s only friend is lillia, who he also met at work. she’s incredibly skittish and shy, but their friendship is rooted in the fact that neither of them talks very much. i imagine her having deer legs, but not being a centaur like she is on runeterra.

taliyah is friends with ezreal, lux, and ekko, the latter of whom she has a crush on. ekko knows rell, who knows seraphine, who knows ezreal. they’re all one big yet loose friend group. she’s also close with kai’sa, who student teaches for one of her classes.

usan is yasuo’s ex-boyfriend and i could totally imagine them bumping into each other being a running gag. zed obviously knows shen and kayn, who know akali. akali and kayn are 19 in canon, so they would be pretty young. probably like. fuckass 13 yr olds

Caitlyn observed Jinx as she sat on her sister's bed, muttering to herself and hurling her phone violently against the bed as she scrolled. Jinx then buried her face in Vi's fluffy pillow, which she had given Vi for her birthday a month earlier.

Caitlyn paused, unsure what to make of the situation in front of her; it was true that she and Jinx had a strained relationship, even after Vi told her that she and Caitlyn were dating. Caitlyn swallowed her reluctance and asked, "Is there something bothering you, Jinx?"

Caitlyn raised her eyebrows when Jinx let out a muffled scream, now even more concerned than before. "With your face under the pillow, I can't understand you."

Jinx raised her head and gave Caitlyn a scathing look as she turned to face her. "It doesn't matter."

"Well, if you're shrieking into your pillow, I'm sure there's something bothering you." Caitlyn clarifies.

"Nope, all good here, just go back to whatever you're doing," Jinx says as she rolls her eyes and raises her hand to wave Caitlyn away.

"Jinx, it's okay to talk about your feelings," Caitlyn sighed.

Jinx laughed a little, "Pft you? No way."

Caitlyn hums, relaxing her body as she motions for Jinx to sit up. "It doesn't have to be me; it can be anyone, but I think you need to let it out right now, so I'm offering you my ears."

"Tch, I don't need you, I have Fishbones," Jinx said. "Fishbones is a great listener! And a great friend, the best of the best, no one could ever replace him!"

"Not even me?" Vi chuckled as she entered the room.

"Not even you, sorry sis, nothing personal, Fishbones is just better," Jinx remarked, squinting her eyes at Vi.

"Darn, well, looks like Fishbones will have to take you to the concert tonight then since I'm not the best anymore," Vi snapped her fingers while pouringly glancing at Jinx.

Jinx quickly turned her body, leaping up and tackling Vi into a hug. "Heh heh, Did I say that Fishbones was the best... I meant my cool amazing big sister Vi is the best of the best-est, ten out of ten, way too good for Caitlyn."

Before sighing, Caitlyn complained, "Best-est isn't a word, one, and two what tickets are you referring to Vi? What are they for?"

Vi reached into her back pocket and took three tickets. "Not sure little man gave me these tickets about a week ago, all he really told me was that it was for a concert and told me what day and time to be there."

"For free?" Caitlyn inquired.

"Yeah, why? Something wrong cupcake?"

Jinx gagged at the pet name then shot a glance at Caitlyn. "Who cares! Free tickets are still free tickets!"

Caitlyn shook her head, "Just because something is free doesn't mean it's good; what if it's a trap?"

"Cupcake, we've known Little man since we were kids, and he'd never do something like that," Vi reassured.

"Enough with the boring cop shit Caitlyn, just accept free gifts and let's get this party started!" Jinx groans. "I haven't seen Little man in ages; he hardly ever texts me anymore! Which, by the way, is extremely incredibly rude! What kind of friend abandons their other friends like that? Like hello! It's me! Who wouldn't want to talk to me?"

"Well, Powder people change and they get busy," Vi patted Jinx's head.

Jinx let go of Vi, crossed her arms, and leaned in closer with a pout on her lips. "What could he possibly be up to that he doesn't check in with us? For crying out loud you make time for me, hell even Caitlyn makes time for me."

Caitlyn blinked a few times, "Should I take that as a compliment or?"

"No."

Caitlyn nods shaking her head, "Noted."

Vi laughed while shrugging her shoulders, "I don't know Powder but maybe he'll tell us one day but for now let's go get ready for this concert yeah?"

Jinx huffed throwing her hands up in the air, "Fine! Whatever!" Jinx went to grab her phone from the bed then headed past Vi out the door shutting the door behind her.

Vi turned to Caitlyn with a slight grin on her face walking up to her and engulfed her in an embrace. "She didn't give you a hard time did she?"

Caitlyn chuckles, "Yes, but nothing I can't handle."

Vi shook her head, "Of course."

"Although, there is something that's troubling me..."

"Hm?"

"Jinx has been acting a little weird for the past couple of days," Caitlyn explained.

"You noticed too?" Vi replied, raising her brow. Caitlyn smiles and nods "Actually, not long before you came. She was on her phone, scrolling normally, when she became agitated and hurled her phone across the bed. And a few days ago, I noticed her doing the same thing, she was on her phone and then just got irritated and threw it away from her," Caitlyn added.

"It's funny you mention that," Vi mused. "She's also stopped talking about that girl."

"What girl?" Caitlyn inquired. Before Vi could respond, the door flung open, and Jinx stood there with a broad grin on her face, shoving her phone out in front of her and swinging it around a little as she exclaimed, "Guess who texted me!"

"Oh would you look at that, Little man didn't forget about you at all Powder, see look, he even apologized for not answering you," Vi said as she walked over to her sister, looking at her phone.

Jinx drew her phone and giggled as she bit her bottom lip. "Yeah... Oh! We should probably get him something on the way there?"

"That's unusually generous of you," Caitlyn remarked.

"What? I'm not heartless, "Jinx scoffed. "After all, the little man is still my closest friend. Now come on let's go!" Jinx says this while grabbing and tugging on Vi's arm. Vi rolled her eyes. "Alright, alright, but Powder, you have to leave Fishbones here."

"Nope, wherever I go, Fishbones follows!" Jinx gleams.

Vi parked the car, got out first, then turned around to open the passenger-side door for Caitlyn. Jinx pushed open the door, almost hitting Vi with it. "Whoops sorry!" Jinx said, hopping out of the car while going to stretch her arms and legs, "Woah, this place is cool! I love the dark alley vibe that's going on here. It's so dark and mysterious. You sure little man gave you the right address, Vi?"

As Caitlyn exited the vehicle, she bent her body to stretch; as she did so, she heard a few cracks and sighed in relief. "I have to agree with Jinx on this one; are you sure you were at the right place? This is certainly an alleyway leading to the stadium."

"Yeah, this is the spot. I guess we're supposed to head over to that door over there then?" Vi remarked, pulling her phone from her back pocket.

Jinx dashed over to the filthy metal door with no hesitation. Jinx raised her hand and banged on the door, which opened to show a tall, buff-looking man who furrowed his brow at Jinx and asked, "What?"

"Step aside big guy, I've got a little man to find," Jinx said. The security guy sighed and rolled his eyes. "Do you have a ticket? Little lady."

Jinx nods, pointing back at Vi and Caitlyn, who are approaching them. Vi put her hand on Jinx's shoulder, gave the guard a quick once-over, and then pulled the three tickets from her back pocket. "Here, anything else you wanna check, sir."

The guard grumbled as he examined the tickets. "Come on in and follow the green line on the wall all the way down."

The three entered, Jinx stuck her tongue out at the guard while Vi gave him a dirty glare before Caitlyn quickly shoved them inside. "Will you two cut it out, he's just doing his job."

"Yeah but he doesn't have to be a prick about it," Vi said.

"How was he being a prick?"

"The way he looked at us," Jinx says while twirling her hair. "He's got a tree stuck up his butt."

Caitlyn huffed as she looked between Vi and Jinx, not wanting to be more perplexed by the sisters' responses to her questions. The green line came to a halt in front of a door with the words "Party Room 3" labeled in glitching colored effects. Vi opened the door to the smell of cooking food and a whirlwind of screaming and applauding from the audience below. Caitlyn exclaimed when she saw the seats; they were luxurious.

"How did your friend obtain these tickets?" Caitlyn inquired, her finger trailing over the chairs as she observed the crowd below them. "What's true damage? A band?"

"I have no idea..." astonishedly, Vi replied. "Whatever it is, little man has some explaining to do."

Jinx instantly leapt into the middle seat, an enthusiastic smile on her face, butterflies shooting around in her tummy as she bit her bottom lip, wriggling impatiently in her seat, as a ten-second countdown began to play on the screen.

Jinx and Vi's gaze scoured the stage as they heard a familiar voice begin counting down with the crowd. "No way, no how..." Vi and Jinx's heads twisted to glance at each other, then back to the stage.

"LITTLE MAN!?"

Ok so Sarah has to be an apex predator and stepping away from the Bilgewater animals i think she would be a tigress or a panther cause they are cool. She needs to be redder but she's already sassy and fierce enough. She's about to rip you apart.

Illaoi is tricky but saying a squid/octopus would be obvious so im giving her another mammal and she's a damn elephant. She's majestic, she's strong and she wont mind making her way through, always trying to keep the group together. Literally a mom.

I think Braum is a moose, a kind and very big one! Also majestic and big, strong like Braum!

As for Yasuo... I really dont know, a bird because he's related to wind, so probably a heron. Dunno looks epic and edgy enough for a Yasuo, just imagine a heron walking strangely cause its drunk. Thats literally Yasuo.

Our girlie Ahri is obvious, but imagine her being able to switch between vastaya and an animal form so she just stays by the bonfire like this enjoying the warmth:
