Lynxstorm!
Tumblr media
Design Notes:
In my last design for him I made him a light gray tabby colorpoint, but I decided to make him a black tabby colorpoint this time because 2 of his kits are black, and despite the fact that RoC does not follow realistic cat genetics... it still bothers me bec it makes no sense that two dilute cats would have non dilute babies LOL
I actually really like this change tho!!! I think it looks really cool!
Also fun fact! His white is the exact same as Tigerclaw's and to make his gray I took Thistleclaw's gray and made it the hue of Snowstorm's blue!
Character Bio:
Lynxstorm
(Whitestorm)
Cis Tom; he/him
Age as of 1st arc's beginning: 4 cycles, 4 moons; ~33 Hyrs
Title meaning: -storm =   a cat who is powerful in battle; strong and fights like a storm; Was specifically given this title in reference to his mother.
Warrior -> Second of Thunder Order; was in line due to being Star Bluefrost's nephew
Mentor: Star Bluefrost
Mother: Snowstorm
Father: Thistleclaw
Siblings: Sky; Shine; Shimmer; Star Tigerclaw
Mate: Willowchime
Kits: Sootfur; Rainwhisker; Sorreltail
Step-Kits: Darkstripe; Graybelly
Grandkits: Cinderheart; Honeyfern; Poppyfrost
Step-Grandkits: Ashfall; Ferncloud; Willowfeather; Oakfeather
Other notable kin: Star Pineheart (grandfather); Leopardfoot (Grandmother); Swift (nephew); Brambleflower (nephew); Star Tawnyclaw (neice); Mothwing (neice); Star Hawkfrost (nephew)
Extra notes: I changed his name to Lynx bec White is boring and it matches with Tiger!
Lynx was mentored by Bluefrost bec I think thats cute, and it also just adds to why they are so close <3
another fact! Blue wished she had chosen Lynx to be her Second instead of Tiger... but tbh Tiger probably would have killed him, even if Lynx was his brother.
Character Summary:
Lynxstorm and his littermate Tigerclaw were Snowstorm and Thistleclaw's second litter, the first being a litter of 3 which all sadly died due to a premature birth. It was many cycles before Snow and Thistle tried for a second litter as the death of the first had left Snow distraught and fearful of it happening again. However their second litter were healthy and strong, and because of this Snow named them after two kinds of powerful and strong wild cat.
Thistleclaw took far more interest in Lynx's brother Tiger, as Tiger was the larger and stronger of the two, it was obvious that Tiger took after Thistle, which Thistle loved. However Lynx was smaller and more empathetic and kind, he spent far more time with his mother and found his father's more cruel nature unappealing.
As Lynx grew he also took far more notice of how toxic his parent's relationship was. Thistleclaw was so obsessed with power and strength, that he would often judge his own mate for doing things he deemed "weak" and Snowstorm would refuse to let anyone think her weak and would feel the need to prove Thistle wrong. Thistle didn't just put this pressure on his mate either, he put it on his sons, especially Tiger, and Lynx grew to hate Thistle for it.
Snowstorm died during a border dispute early into Lynx and Tiger's apprenticeship, and this drove Thistle to be even more cruel. Thistle would take his sons out on extra night time training sessions that were far more brutal than anything a normal apprentice would be doing. Lynx knew that he only rarely was taken on these training sessions, Tiger on the other hand was trained constantly by Thistle. Lynx wanted to tell someone but Tiger made him swear not to, as Tiger wanted those sessions to learn how to be strong, even if he hated Thistleclaw for how brutal he was during them. Lynx never learned that Thistle had also been training Tiger in the Dark Forest as well...
As an adult, Lynx stayed far away from his father, choosing to go about his live happily and without any Thistleclaw bullshit. This would be made truly permanent when Thistle was found out for his grooming of Spottedleaf, Lynx was horrified by this (though not 100% surprised by his father's actions). Lynx joined Bluefrost's plan to assassinate Thistleclaw instead of simply banishing him, and though Tiger was the tom to serve the killing blow, Lynx was certainly there to make sure the deed was done. This not only felt like vengeance for Spotted, this felt like vengeance for his childhood, for his brother, and for his mother.
During the first arc plot Lynx becomes a big role model to Fire, being something like a father figure along side Lioheart.
Lynx got closer to and fell in love with Willowchime around the time that Gray was an apprentice, Willow always wanted to chat with Lynx and Lion about her son's apprenticeship and they started bonding from there. Lynx is also one of the only cats to learn the full story of Willow's past romance with Dark and Gray's kittypet father, and he holds not judgement towards her for it.
Lynx and Willow both died in the great battle against Tiger Order.
...
[Image ID: A digital drawing of Lynxstorm an au version of Whitestorm from Warrior Cats. He is standing tall and proud, with his right side showing, and he has a calm expression and smile. He is a long furred, white tom with dark gray almost black tabby color point markings, and white on his muzzle , paws and tail tip. His eyes are blue with yellow-orange irises, and his inner ears and nose are pink./End ID)

What irritates me so much about the Leafpool and the three situation is: it's Starclan's fault. It never had to happen in cannon. Squirrelflight isn't barren. If the Erin's wanted drama, they could have made the three Ashfur's, and had Squirrel pretend they're Bramble's. I'm glad in BB you made her barren, but it still just irritates me. Leafpool got done so dirty. If I was in her paws, and after Bramble had me forcibly step down, I'd ask someone to honor sire (maybe from a different clan?) kits for me then look Bramble straight in the eye as I started showing.
It's one in a long list of "retcons that happened to reduce the agency of characters because the warrior fandom will otherwise find any reason to fucking hate women." I don't believe that Po3 was written with the revelation of Leafpool's Wish in mind.
(leafpool's wish is where the "barren/StarClan telling Squilf to take the kids" Thing comes from)
In fact, most books that come out seem to completely forget the detail. Squirrelflight's Hope doesn't mention it. Bramblestar's Storm totally omitted it. Squirrelflight is never pissed that StarClan literally lied to her.
So it makes it really feel like a less egregious version of Spottedleaf's Heart; a poorly thought-out addition specifically aimed at the fandom misogynists who write screeds about how Brambleclaw/Thistleclaw Were Good Actually and their shitty behavior was just a Bad Woman Who Wronged The Poor Babies.
AND to be clear what I'm getting at with this comparison is that both these books are awful, because they're cowardly. They don't stick to their guns and say, "BLUESTAR AND SQUIRRELFLIGHT WERE RIGHT TO MISTRUST THESE MEN BASED ON THE REASONS THEY HAD." They badly retcon in EXTRA reasons for them to come to the conclusions they did.
They concede to the fandom misogynist. Their existence agrees that the original reasons they had were weak, so the writers shoveled in extra horseshit to make them "more correct" to do what they did.
"Don't worry guys, it's not that Squirrelflight took her sister's children to protect everyone involved, and that she's right to mistrust her mate who trained in HELL and never revealed any of his own secrets until his shitty half-brother killed her dad once. Nope! God lied to her and told her to. Told her she was barren, even. Now Squilf can remain morally pure while Brambleclaw abuses the shit out of her. Soblem Prolved."
So like... I don't even think that they should have been Ashfur's. This worked perfectly fine as it was in Po3. Just commit, assholes. Bramblestar's an untrustworthy piece of shit. Condemn him for turning on his children, confirming every terrible suspicion Squirrelflight had. Point out that the Three get treated differently when the secret comes out. Ask what, exactly, Leafpool could have done differently and have people have different opinions on this.
but like. keep squirrelflight being barren :/ Please let women just be unable to have kids sometimes. Please.

Starclan sucks.
I mean genuinely they do. They go against their own rules often, and they hold cats to stupid standards or none at all
Ashfur got in for 'loving too much' after trying to murder his crushes Kits because she didn't like him back.
Frecklewish got sent to the dark forest when she shouldn't have. Seriously, she thought mapleshade and her kits were being saved by riverclan, how could she have known otherwise?? And if it's about the exile of mapleshades Kits why is she the only one being punished? Shouldn't it be the leader at the time, who exiled Kits during a storm, not her??
The trial for leafpool is another great example of how stupid starclan is! They told her to do it. Spottedleaf literally told her to follow her heart when she asked them what she should do! Why shouldn't she listen to the ancestors she's been told to listen to and follow her entire life???
The medicine cats not having kits sort of made sense in the first series when every Clan only had two. But now, not only can there be more than two Medicine cats but there's also cats that choose to stay Queens to help look after Kits. The super-edition explaining this rule is also dumb, the medicine cat who had Kits wouldn't let other cats help look after them for dumb reasons and that's why she had trouble performing her duties while looking after them! It wouldn't be an issue for cats willing to let others babysit! It's dumb!
Then there's the fact they lied to squirrelflight, telling her she was barren so she'd take the three. If I were her that would have destroyed my faith forever, knowing the dead everyone worships will lie for their own gain and interests.
Likywhisker goes to the dark forest for 'not accepting fate after breaking her leg'. Like???? What??? What??? Starclan what the fuck??
Brightflower goes to the dark forest, a place where you starve forever and wounds never heal, becuase she believed her leader and got mad becuase she thought her older daughter killed her kits?? In what world did that make sense? Meanwhile Rainflower gets to hang out in starclan.
Tangleburr, deerfoot, and stumpytail didn't really do anything to warrant going to the dark forest. Blackstar did just as much, actually more, than they did. Blackstar(Blackfoot at the tine)murdered an elder, and aided brokenstar and tigerclaw. He changed, yeah, but who's to say the other three haven't or wouldn't have?
Juniperclaw shows genuine remorse for his actions and did save multiple lives. Yet he's still in cat hell while other cats who had done worse still get to relax in cat heaven.
Sol was right, the clans shouldn't worship something so inherently flawed. It was stupid that blackstar took not believing starclan to mean the clan shouldn't care for each other anymore. The clans can both recognize starclan as just a flawed as they are while also continuing to care for each other.
Starclan sucks.

Some Dark Forest members that either are put there in the rewrite or little OCs (that aren't really important too often but the Dark Forest needs more than 10 cats come onnn)
Version 1.1: Lizardstripe is now a pretty different kitty and is no longer on this list, her ex Mudstep is here however, and Leopardstar's morality has finally been cemented.
Version 1.2: Clarified Batear and Fenneldust's crimes, as well as recreated Clear Sky's role as no longer self inflicted, but rather a punishment from his first victim.
Spiderclaw - Spottedleaf's killer instead of Clawface, Brokenstar's lackey.
Thornclaw - Supports the Dark Forest, dies during the Great Battle and banished upon death.
Mudstep (Lizardstripe's mate) - Though he had an okay relationship with Runningnose, and was proud to raise a Medicine Cat son, he was a terrible mate and poor excuse for a father, the cherry on top being his physical abuse of Brokenkit. Abuse of kittens and mates is not tolerated by Starclan.
Rabbitswoop - Riverclan Dark Forest Trainee, he takes one of Mistystar's lives before Hawkfrost kills him.
Milktail - Born during the Brokenstar era and hates her non-clan born adopted brother. She supports Tigerstar, Blackstar makes her deputy after her "I'm sooo sorry' act that actually is convincing. She and Mistfang (Tigerstar's surviving sister) try to kill Blackstar only to get stopped by her adoptive brother. She is a piece of the Blood Will Spill Blood Prophecy (which you can imagine drove her mad), along with Hawkfrost killing Mistfang.
Mistfang - Speaking of. Tigerclaw's dickhead sister. Her attitude stemmed not from 'being spoiled' or anything like that. But the fact that her brother was praised for his strength non-stop, which made this once sweetheart begin to act more like her brother, on a very dangerous path. She thinks her brother is perfect, and idolized him. She followed him to the Dark Forest after being killed by her own nephew.
Nestfur - Another Brokenstar lackey, killed by Mudclaw during the Battle Of Bloodclan.
Parsnipfang - Shinecloud's brother. Oakstar's brother-in-law, Birchface and Frecklewish's uncle. Tried to kill the leader and abused his mate to gain power, Oaksnap (Oakstar) killed him before he could kill the leader, becoming deputy after his death, but something feels... Familiar, about that scenario.
Ratscar - Dark Forest Trainee who kills (yes, KILLS) Blackstar with Redwillow's help (not that he'll let Redwillow have any credit), before Ferncloud beats him into paste.
Rotflower - Rainflower.
Leopardstar - Genuine Tiger Law supporter who tried to instill the mentality into Hawkfrost, and allowed Tigerclan to get out of control/endorsing it.
Onestar - Prison Sentence, but not for too long. Roughly 1 and a half moons.
Sol - After his death, he is banished here and he is PISSED about it, everyone picks on him, guy basically has a kick-me sign on his butt.
Frecklewish - HANG ON! Let me explain. She CHOSE to be in the Dark Forest, because she realizes what Thunderclan has done, and no one but Mapleshade was punishes for trying to give them justice. She can travel the border at will, but spends most of her time in the Dark Forest.
Batear - Fenneldust's boyfriend who helped cover up the murder and supplied the 'weapon', a Boar.
Fenneldust - Thunderclan cat who killed the Medicine cat that gave an omen that she would make a bad deputy. Gee, I wonder why?
Quick Water - Apologizing as you bleed out is not enough. She is one of the OLDEST spirits there, and is mostly uninvolved in things.
Oakstar - Only punished after a huge uproar Frecklewish started. But he seems to be missing. How odd...
One Eye - The OG Dark Forest King.
Star Flower - A genuine force of evil, like she should have always been. Dark Magic practices and trying to destroy the Clans leads to her getting trapped in the Dark Forest.
Clear Sky - Due to not being leader, his toxic influence is now seen by the spirits of Starclan. Bright Storm had the most perfect punishment for him. You wanna make borders? You can be one. To protect the cats of Starclan from the ones in the Dark Forest, Bright Storm and the other cats of Starclan sacrificed his spirit to become the fog border around the area, the fog choking and thick, just like his thick white fur. Now only appears as blue eyes in the shadows and a disembodied voice. His spirit has whittled away, now gaining holes in it. Not to mention the... things... rumored to be laying within the fog.
Gray Wing - The OG Curse Layer. His horrid enabling behavior has damned him, but he'll never see it that way. He technically still roams the earth, but he SHOULD be here. His hatred is toxic, and he plans to destroy the Stars of the Clans, starting with Riverclan....

for halloween I introduce a mapleshade and spottedleaf au I had in my head for a while :)
basically spottedleaf dies as normal, and after she does maple finds her and sees it as another way to take revenge on thunderclan, and convinces her that Fireheart/paw whatever he was at the time let her die purposely and convinces her to take revenge on him, especially after he chooses Sandstorm as a mate. Basically spotted tries to act like his spirit guide still and still act good and not evil, but secretly convinces sandstorm that firestar loves her and not sand bc she constantly visiting him and stuff if that makes sense...and basically sand ends up breaking up with him over it
but before they broke up sand was already pregnant and had squilf and leaf eventually, and bc of what happened, his daughters never became too close to him, especially squilf, leaf kinda had to get over it since she his med cat, but squilf always held resentment. eventually spotted convinces leaf to run away with crow and that whole thing happens same as it does..
however since she knew the three had powers her and maple started secretly training them. as time went on jay realized they were being manipulated and told lion and holly, but holly was so caught up in being the best med cat she could be, she didn't believe jay and continued to train
eventually the fire thing happened and spotted actually told holly leaf was her mom and made up lies about how she hated her and hated that she was her apprentice and all that, and eventually convinced holly to kill leaf in revenge, and she tried but due to the sister psychic link thing squilf came and tried to save her, but she was too late, and in the process also ended up killing Holly in an attempt to save her sister, but in the end they both ended up dead
squilf was accused of killing them both and due to pressure from the clan firestar was forced to exile his daughter, she pleaded, attempting to fix the relationship they never got to have, and he desperately wanted to, but he couldn't and had to kick her out
meanwhile, in starclan leaf realized what spotted had been doing and tried to warn all the other starclan cats, but none believed her since spotted was such a well respected starclan warrior. the only one who seemed to listen was crookedstar, and eventually they realized together mapleshade was in on this as well
they formed a plan together to bring maples kits to her in an attempt to change her mind, and during the great battle they bring the kits out to maple while the kits tried to convince her to stop all this. maple was starting to listen to them, finally starting to find some kind of closure in her anger, when spotted saw and stepped in
she tried to convince maple not to listen to them but she wouldn't, so spotted attempted to kill the kits, which made maple angry
the two started fighting, maple almost winning and who easily could have killed her but hesitated, through all of this they had formed a close relationship despite everything, and she couldn't bring herself to hurt her, but that was her mistake, for spotted didn't hesitate and ended up killing her
she hadn't realized what she had done until it was too late, she had killed the one cat closest to her, and while she was in shock, sandstorm has been watching and realized what had been happening all along, killed spottedleaf, ending their reign once and for all

I was playing around with warrior cats AUs earlier and an interesting thought came up. What if Fireheart was a WindClan cat and a Med cat? (And had amnesia, for funsies) Here are some jumbled ideas in (mostly) chronological order.
Rusty leaves the two-leg place at four moons, meeting Tigerclaw. As you expect this doesn't end well. He barely gets away alive, passing out inside WindClan's border.
It's Deadfoot that finds him, acting as his main parental figure next to Barkface.
When he wakes up he doesn't know who he is or what happened. Though because he smelt like ThunderClan, Tallstar could guess.
Because of Tigerclaw, he is very scarred, the most notable one on his left side goes from his shoulder to his flank.
He was five moons when ShadowClan chased WindClan from their home. He already wanted to become a med cat and helped Barkface where he was allowed.
Firepaw gets far more warrior training than the average med cat would due to the exile. This becomes a part of WindClan culture later on.
He has a very strong connection to StarClan in this AU! While they meant for him to be a ThunderClan warrior they aren't particularly disappointed with what he chose.
Firepaw keeps having dreams of the same two cats, one a tortoiseshell tom with a red tail, one a brown tiger-like tabby with sharp claws. The tabby looks familiar but he has no idea where he'd met the cat.
We're gonna move from WindClan for now, let's check in on ThunderClan, shall we?
Spottedleaf still gets the "Fire will save our clan" prophecy, but doesn't understand it until much later.
Tigerclaw becomes deputy after he kills Redtail, but is more patient than he is in canon.
Ravenpaw doesn't leave ThunderClan because he never saw Tigerclaw kill Redtail, though he is still scared of Tigerclaw. He gets the name Ravenflight for his flighty personality. Raven x Barley is still a thing, don't worry!
Ravenpaw is the one who helps Yellowfang and is punished because he feeds her. Ravenpaw acts in the place of Firepaw for the most part.
Sandpaw stays roughly the same, her arc does not change much until later.
While Spottedleaf isn't killed by Clawface the kits are still kitnapped, and Yellowfang is still blamed. They thought she was a spy or something.
Graypaw and Ravenpaw go looking for her and find out the truth. Things go the way they did in canon. Brokenstar and his followers are chased out. After the battle, they're given their warrior names and do their vigil.
Graystripe and Ravenflight are the ones sent to find WindClan. This is how our favourite trio meet.
They actually spot Firepaw hunting and run up to him, not expecting him to turn and swipe at them. It takes Deadfoot calling out to Firepaw to make him back off.
They take a break when they meet Barley, who offers to let them stay the night in the barn. He and Ravenflight talk for hours.
When Graystripe gets Firepaw to relax, he asks about Firepaw's scars. Firepaw shakes his head and says he doesn't remember how he got them. He doesn't remember anything from before WindClan found him.
The party of cats leave, deciding to cut through RiverClan territory. They still fight with that RiverClan patrol but no one dies, luckily.
Ravenflight and Graystripe go home, both their minds stuck on different cats.
And we're gonna stop there, for now, I'll probably rb with more ideas later. My brain is already rotting with this AU so I'll def be coming back to it!

My least favorite retcons include:
- whatever the hell they did to Ravenpaw in Redtail’s Debt, Redtail’s Debt as a whole
- them making Onestar, Morningflower, and Ashfoot siblings, while also confirming that Heathertail is his daughter
- the whole Hollowflight/Ivypool friendship being erased
- Sorreltail’s entire death??
- Fernsong being retroactively confirmed to have actually raised the kits when there was no mention of it/scene of him doing so in the actual books
- Goldenflower being made to be around Bluestar’s age is uncomfortable given the fact that Frostfur was left behind with the other elders despite being Bluestar’s apprentice
- Making Bluestar much younger than it’s implied she was in the main series, thinking of the line where it says something akin to “most of these cats never lived under a leader besides Bluestar”
And not necessary retcons but Frostfur and Brindleface being sisters is so bad. Lionheart being Frostfur’s mate is bad since it retroactively makes TigerDove distantly related. Hawkwing and Pebbleshine being cousins, hell just the amount of inbreeding in SkyClan despite being made up of unrelated rogues, kittypets, etc.
NO CAUSE YOURE SO RIGHT!!! no real opinion on ravenpaw’s change cause i haven’t read redtails debt, but i did hear that they just completely forgot that its a critical detail that redtail didnt kill oakheart. which is just so funny to me. good job everybody
honestly i just get the vibe that they made onestar and ashfoot siblings just to piss off the fandom. cause like theres no way in hell that they’re unaware of the incest at this point. like. idk this is on the same level to me as “omg lets make pebblehawk first cousins!”
SORRELTAIL OH MY GOD people forget that was actually a retcon. she was perfectly fine in the last hope, vicky just really really hated her and wanted her in the dirt (you may think im being hyperbolic but, like, no, vicky actually ranted about how “boring” she was when a fan asked how she felt about her parents and kids’ deaths and said ‘she isnt miserable enough shes too happy and thats stupid”. it literally is in there cause vicky put her through hell and back and couldnt get enough of that. and people think the misogyny in this series is up for debate.)
ohhhhh my god all the tpb age retcons are so frustrating. its worse cause like, why do snowfur and leopardfoot and all these cats give birth the second theyre out the warriors den? why is bluestar only about a year older than her nephew?? ive ranted about the shadowclan elders all being retconned to be super young actually, but its everywhere. (in razorverse i try to fix this by making snowfur and leopardfoot have whitekit and tigerkit wayyyyyyy later. like when theyre 4 instead of 1.)
-honestly 9/10 of the time, a family tree retcon is gonna be awful. who asked for spottedleaf to be tigerstar’s aunt. which deranged individual keeps insisting that whitestorm is ashfur and fernclouds dad.
adderswift isnt real. lets go get some ice cream

It's my AU and I'll spoil the plot if I want to! Get ready babes!
Let's talk about the first and last death of Redstar!
There are 2 important plot things before I get into it:
1) It actually takes a LOT of convincing from literally everybody (AND their moms) for Redtail to get his 9 lives. He is loyal to Thunderclan and truly believes that he will return to it, until he learns of its fall in the paws of Tigerstar. It's only when Sandstorm (his only family left at this point) tells him of her want to remain in Skyclan that he accepts.
2) When Tigerstar killed Spottedleaf at the Moonstone, Starclan shut itself away. No cat could reach them or recieve their 9 lives (in the forest territories) while Tigerstar was alive.
So let's begin
Redstar, of course, loses his first life to Tigerstar in the battle against Tigerclan. Now, Redstar had given the command that no cat would call him 'star'. He knew about the cut off from Starclan, and purposefully hid his role from the enemy. Tigerstar had no reason to assume Red would have more than 1 life.
Big mistake, cue the shocked pikachu face.
Redstar stands back up and dives right back in (he was pleasantly surprised that he only had to kill Tiger once)
Big time skip. We're in the new territories (there's lots of story here but that can wait)
The eclipse is a few hours away and the Dark Forest is coming with it. Redstar wakes his deputy and medicine cats and they hustle to the Moonpool to get Hollyleaf her 9 lives in secret before the battle.
He knows he won't survive this battle. He is old, and hyper aware that Tigerstar is coming for him personally.
And he's right.
During the battle Hollyleaf stays at Redstars side. When Tiger and his sons make an appearance she dies taking Hawk and Bramble down (with the help of her ghost friend)
Redstar fights Tigerstar but is overpowered. Tigerstar gloats over his victory, drawing out Redstars death. He knows that Redstar has no more lives. Redstar won't get back up this time.
But Hollystar will.
With the last of his strength, Redstar pins Tigerstar long enough for Hollystar to recover and deliver a killing blow. Redstar praises his great-granddaughter, encouraging her for her new journey as leader, and then passes away.

okay so. the tnp au:
-it’s about establishing skyclan, rather than finding a new home. i think theyd still go see midnight/the sundrown place. maybe midnight could be the one to tell them about skyclan??
-squilf and leafs sister telepathy does not fade out. it is an important plotline.
-the clans are still suffering and recovering from tigerstars reign, so leafpaws story revolves around that mostly
-the cats who go on the journey are as follows:
-squirrelpaw*, brambleclaw, and shrewpaw (who comes along for the same reasons stormfur does)
-crowpaw*
-feathertail*, stormfur, and hawkpaw
-tawnypelt*
*means theyve been getting dreams about skyclan. squilf is the only one to actually communicate with them tho :>
-hawkfrost is a. not evil in this au and b. feathertails apprentice. he, squilf, crow, feather, and shrew are all friends. he bonds with tawnypelt too, but is uncomfortable around brambleclaw, though he cant figure out why. hes a very good brother to moth here btw!! he doesnt fake the moth sign, he just finds it in front of the med den. im a sucker for good hawkfrost sorry gang
-brambleclaw is a villain here, he kinda takes hawkfrosts role. he has grown more and more jaded due to the way everyone, especially firestar, views him. though he declared he would never join his father, his anger sent him down a dark path.
-squilf operates as the trainer for medicine cats with the help of leaf! she and crow become a lot closer during this time too. (squirrel/crow/shrew qpr!!!!) hawk also spends a lot of time with them, bc he likes learning about herbs (it gives him something to bond with moth over). tawny joins them and realizes that she kinda has a knack for healing!! (she prefers being a warrior tho so she sticks to helping squilf)
- skywatcher tells squilf the three prophecy. he also tells her that a silver cat and the spirit of skyclan will save the skies.
-feather, storm, and hawk successfully recruit everyone into skyclan. more cats join than canon, they dont only try and recruit cats who look like they mightve been related to skyclan cats
-the rats are replaced by sharptooth here. theres been several generations of pumas hunting skyclan im so sorry skyclan. they lurk in the whispering cave (which is what prevents leafstar from getting her lives)
-skyclan gains a unique culture due to the influence of the travel gang. theyre also the first clan to have music and art. the cats from skyclans destiny (the rogues) join the clan (minus stick).
-sharptooths attacks get worse and worse, so the gang creates a plan to kill them. brambleclaw, by now fully convinced to follow all that his father says, sabotages feathertail and squilf when theyre luring sharptooth into the river. his goal here was to kill squilf. after all, shes never been seen as an extension of her father, has she?
-feathertail saves squilfs life, and is nearly cost her own. the apprentices save her while tawnypelt attacks brambleclaw. feathertail loses part of her tail and breaks one of her back legs in the scuffle. her friends stay by her side unrelentingly as she heals.
-tawnypelt drags brambleclaw into camp and has him imprisoned.
-leafstars leadership ceremony occurs, with every travel member but brambleclaw present. everyone probably cries bc i would. rather than spottedleaf giving leafstar a life for healing, skystar gives her a life for prudence. leafstar names cora (skyclan name pending. maybe corashadow?) her deputy.
-leafstar refuses to let the apprentices leave without making them warriors. squirrelpaw becomes squirrelshine, crowpaw become crowflight, shrewpaw becomes shrewtuft, and hawkpaw becomes hawkfeather.
-the gang heads home. brambleclaw manages to escape from skyclan and follow them, with it being to late for skyclan to warn the gang
-joyous reunion between everyone!! moth and leaf are very obviously in love and squilf and hawk make a pact to get them together.
-focus shifts to windclan and the revolution there for a while (from crowpaws perspective.) when mudclaw dies after falling from outlook rock, crow runs away to join thunderclan.
-ash and squirrel become good friends. ashfur has a crush on squirrelshine, but she gently rejects him. he takes it just as badly as in canon.
-the badger attack is still canon. leafspirit (leafpool) runs away after cinderpelt passes away. she eventually returns, having had a short relationship with a kittypet.
-ashfur finds brambleclaw, and helps him with his plot to kill firestar. ash to hurt squirrelshine, and bramble to get his revenge on firestar and fulfill what tigerstar failed to do.
-brambleclaw makes his way back to the clans. he tries to kill firestar like hawkfrost does in canon, but hawkfeather and tawnypelt stop him. tawnypelt manages to kill him, and the lake runs red.
-leafspirit runs off again to have her kits. squirrelshine brings mothwing along to find her. they name the kits skykit (jaykit), moonkit (hollykit), and sunkit (lionkit).

-starclan guides leaf and squirrel gently and kindly in this au. starclan works in two parts: the spirits and the storyweavers. the spirits are the same as starclan canon (but the same as in life and not butchered). they are not supposed to appear to living cats outside of leadership ceremonies, but a group of them have rebelled and left to guide the living. the storyweavers appear to the medicine cats and create the prophecies and omens. they are uncaring to the plight of the living, only caring for the destinies theyve written. ill reblog to say whos left the spirits later. they (the rebel spirits) are there through the whole arc btw

How does starclan reacts to Spottedleaf's lies?
Super sorry for answering this so late, I've been super busy LMAO I try to answer asks as quickly as I can, so thank you for being so patient!
This will contain some spoilers for my fic, even if I might tweak some things before then, so know this is subject to some possible changes! It'll also contain some mild horror and themes of being watched, so fair warning!
It's nothing big at first, for a while she actually flies comfortably under the radar, the problem only really starts getting recognized by Starclan once they tell the clan the false prophecy, uncomfortably close to before whenever Spotted receives the 'Fire will save our clan' one, and gets worse once Yellowfang gets there and starts working alongside her. A lot of the plan hindered on the only other medicine cat around being her and her apprentice, so Yellowfang appearing threw a massive wrench in things. Yellowfang does agree not to reveal the fact she's faking her and Tigerclaw's prophecy, but can't promise she'll be able to keep her safe from everything that may come her way because of it.
She starts to avoid the night sky after that, doing her best to only go out during the day, or when the stars are hidden by clouds. But that doesn't always help her when she starts to feel watched near constantly. She's not exactly sure if it's a manifestation of guilt or Starclan themselves, at the time, but she starts to have dreams if not hallucinations of silent starclan cats, just... Watching as she tries to gather herbs. It's extremely rare for Starclan to decend from the sky, much less for no good reason. They don't tell you how dead and lightless an otherwise glittering Starclan cat's eyes can look when they stare at you so blankly. Nothing proves they're no longer alive more than that.
Yellowfang tries to comfort her through the days, but she out of anybody can tell it's starting to weigh on her- She does her best to make her feel a bit more secure, but having another cat with Starclan's gifts so nearby only makes things more unsettling.
Starclan is very different in this AU, being a lot more reserved and ominous, much closer to a coalescence of all the spirits of their ancestors that started having their lines between eachother smudged long ago. The clans have this image of ethereal starry passed family members who watch over them and keep them safe, but if you look deeper, there's something beneath the surface. They don't actively try to stop Spottedleaf, since this is likely a new type of crime, faking a prophecy not for power, but for something as simple and small as love, so instead they just judge. They know she knows they're watching her, and they plan to keep doing it until she dies, even if she tries to shut Starclan out of her mind later.
She does start trying to shut out Starclan once she realizes she's pregnant with Tigerclaw's kit. She knows the clan will see them as something special due to the prophecy that allowed them to be born 'within the code', and she doesn't need twice the stress with Starclan still lingering around her during the whole thing. Unfortunately, with her having such a strong connection with Starclan, and Tigerclaw having his own ties to it for wildly different reasons, their son ends up having a much, much higher connection than a majority of medicine cats do, even from a young age. Spotted isn't sure whether they passed it down to him, or if Starclan felt a bit sadistic and decided to play along for now, but for a while, the starry figures that stalk her through the forest seem to dissipate. She can't tell why, though, but she can feel in her bones that they'll be back for her.
Tigerclaw doesn't have a direct link with Starclan, but he does actually get his own glimpses of them, though his seem to be more based in malice. They've obviously never been too fond of him, and since Pinestar refused to kill him as a kit, they've let that demand go, but a lingering distaste for him never faded. He's been plagued with nightmares his entire life, but something about the ones he started getting once Starclan discovered their lie seemed to be less copy-paste with a few adjustments, and more personal. Deeper cutting and more unnerving. Ones he couldn't shake even with Spottedleaf at his side every night.

Controversial take I presume but here it goes:
Tigerstar (n°1, Senior, Tigerclawstar, whatever) was not a bigoted xenophobic/racist.
His political personna was more or less that, yes. But he, personnally? was not.
- Exhibit 1:
In Into the Wild he is mad at every single apprentice, warrior or elder who crosses his path, even Bluestar, with an exception for his pawns (Darkstripe, Longtail...) and the females he’s trying to flirt with (namely Spottedleaf but then later Goldenflower too). It’s not particularly directed at Firepaw. Actually, he does praise Firepaw multiple times, even if it’s only to compare Ravenpaw to him and talk him down.
- Exhibit 2:
As soon as Into the Wild, he allies with Shadowclan. He will also ally himself with rogues, loners, former kittypets... culminating with Bloodclan, circling back to this one later. He also allies with Brokentail, who is at the time a rogue and a former shadowclan member. Let’s not mention that Brokentail’s birth broke multiple codes and that he’s got kittypet blood, because Tigerclaw doesn’t know that. On that note he also courts (politically and maybe romantically?) Leopardfur then star, allies with Riverclan, offers another alliance to Thunder and Wind... FFS he even allied with dogs.
- Exhibit 3:
When he learns about Mistyfoot and Stonefur being Bluestar’s kits? He’s exalted. His first reaction is not “oh no, filthy halfclans”. His first reaction is “oh yeah, blackmail material against Bluestar”, and actually he doesn’t even have a second reaction like “oh no filthy halfclans”. All he knows is that he has blackmail material against THunderclan and since he wants revenge against THunderclan? Chef’s kiss and all.
- Exhibit 4:
He goes to lead Shadowclan, aka a clan full of former rogues and kittypets and exiled criminals who became de facto rogues too, while being born and bred in Thunderclan.
- Exhibit 5:
Once there, he assiduously courts a former kittypet and now loner, Sasha. He offers her to join him in SHadowclan, to make it official forever.
- Exhibit 6:
OK now he forms Tigerclan, ok?
First reflexe, to emprison Stonefur, Mistyfoot, and Feather/Stormpaw.
What’s the common denominator? That’s they’re half-clans? OK. But so were the kits of Mistyfoot, and Blackclaw was her mate... No harm to them.
What if I throw Gorsepaw, whom he killed personnally, into the mix, what do we get?
The common thing is that Gorse, Feather and Stormpaw are all close to Firestar and Graystripe’s hearts. People Tigerstar is trying to get revenge against.
And Stonefur? Well, he’s the second most important cat in Riverclan. If Tigerstar wants to take over, he’d better get him out of the way. Mistyfoot? Well it’d be weird not to include her with all the other halfclans. She’s also very popular among the clan. Again, it’s more about purging the elites (and getting back at Firestar) than purging the blood. Otherwise he would have killed Russetfur and Boulder (particularly Boulder, since not only does he not have a warrior name, he also showed Tigerstar the way to Blood Clan so he admitted/it was well known that he was born out of the clans), and not made Mowgli/Nightmask a warrior, and not allowed Sasha to join them...
- Exhibit 7:
When all else fails, he goes to Blood Clan, aka the most brutal rag tag group of loners, rogues, former kittypets, etc.
- Exhibit 8:
He wants to get his kits back, which is not the most politically savvy thing to do when you just claimed that half clans were not a good thing, so he compromised his political personna of the bigoted racist tyrant to get those assets - to take them from Thunderclan, too.
- Exhibit 9:
When he dies he starts haunting Hawkfrost, who is both half-shadowclan, half-loner, and born outside of the clans, but also living in Riverclan. He then haunts his other kits too, one from each clan except Wind. He goes after Lionpaw, even when it’s most probable (I think he admitted?) that he knew Lionpaw was half windclan and not related to him.
So here’s my conclusion:
Despite everything he said and did, Tigerstar the First had no personnal qualm against kittypets, rogues, loners or half-clans. He only used it to exploit the naturally xenophobic mindset of the clans he intended to lead. I’d even say, he used it to put those clans in friction against one another, so that no one in Shadowclan would take it kindly if THunderclan revealed his past. Shadowclan would take it as smearing their new leader, because you can’t trust Thunderclan, etc. He didn’t target all of the outsiders or halfclans, only those that were also either a political threat to him or who were dear to Firestar and Graystripe, whether half clan or not (Gorsepaw, for example). All he wanted was to give a common ennemy to his own, domestic political opponents or strike them down. The only reason why he hid it under blood purity pretenses were that A) most of his opponents were either from other clans or had blood links to other clans and B) because if he used a sacred text (the warrior code) to back up his claims, no one would be able to contradict him without marking themselves as traitors.
Thanks for baring with me.

Im still messed up thinking about how Shaded Moss descends from the heavens to tut-tut at Tall Shadow for killing someone during a battle to the death
"How did you know he was going to kill Thunder hmmmmmmmm???"
(Insert scenes of Clear Sky saying "KILL EVERYONE")
"Who are you to decide whose life is more valuable hmmmmmm?"
My friend who came to save my life is more valuable than the guy trying to kill him, actually. Yeah. I am I to decide that.
Do you remember in TPB when Clawface kills Spottedleaf and Fireheart lets him go because it's dishonorable to kill a defeated warrior, and then Clawface tries to kill him next time, and Graystripe snaps his neck? And then he snaps Darkstripe's neck? Killing two people to save his friend and no one bats an eye? I miss that. Let's go back to that.

Okay now I need to know what would happen if sori joined a different clan. What would he have been named what would his warrior name end up being, would things for his clan go differently , how would his life change?
Very long post ahead - I got carried away my bad
n ShadowClan scary names are meant to intimidate evil beings and show strength as a warrior. He might've still been named Leopardpaw just because it's an honorable name, but other names include Salamanderpaw- (for his bright coat) or Adderpaw- (for his normally kind demanor). Then as he's a scrappy cat, I can see it going into Salamanderclaw or becaue ShadowClan would be more aggressive about his origins, Addersnap because he's be snarky and insulting all the time.
He would defintely have fought the hell out of Brokenstar every step of the way and he probably would've been the one to put his pride aside and go ask ThunderClan for help. Let's say his name was Adderpaw here and he becomes semi-decent friends with Sandpaw while he stays with ThunderClan with Brightflower seeking help. He does return to ShadowClan when ThunderClan helps dethrone Brokenstar but he remains on friendly terms with her and Dustpaw who's absolutely heartbroken about the death of his brother Ravenpaw and the disappearance of Graypaw.
Graypaw who he finds camped out in ShadowClan territory covered in mud and frickin terrified. He agrees not to say anything about him being there and looks after him until Bluestar's sudden death in qhich he interrogates him. Graypaw admits that Ravenpaw confessed that Tigerclaw killed their deputy and when Graypaw was helping him escape, Tigerclaw ambushed them. Ravenpaw didn't make it but Graypaw was able to escape to ShadowClan where he'd been until Adderpaw - now Addersnap - found him.
Graypaw probably becomes a medic from this point having learned a bit from Spottedleaf and from experimenting or secretly speaking to Turtlepaw about herbs. Addersnap becomes deputy and acting leader while Nightstar suffers through the illnesses.
ThunderClan is under strict military control with Tigerstar making constant raids on the Shining Sun kicking off a war between the two. Addersnap appeals to Magpiestar who is wary about siding with ShadowClan but trusts him and agrees to stand against ThunderClan while RiverClan remains neutral until the last minute. Sandpaw now Sandstorm leads the rebellion against Tigerstar and when he dies, ThunderClan chooses her as leader.
Adderstar probably elected Littlecloud as his deputy, Applescratch is his executioner and his first-born daughter would be his heir. Sandstar takes over as ThunderClan leader with Dustslash as her deputy. Leoparstar is big chillin with Stoneswipe and Magpiestar eventually gives up the reigns to Deaddstar who elects Quietmelody as his deputy.
---
RiverClan defintely would've named him Leopardpaw- or Ladybirdpaw- for his coat. Because Leopardshine is there, if named Leopardpaw he'd have to practice twice as hard to be seen as capable and likely would get a name honoring his focus and dedication - Leopardbeam. If named Ladybirdpaw he'd more follow along just being a good warrior - probably prefers dry-hunting to aquatic hunting and definitely friendlier towards ThunderClan than his clanmates would like. Actually, he's so friendly that Ladybirdpaw would probably become Ladybirdtongue as a diplomat.
RiverClan probably gets the Sunnignrocks deal much faster considering Ladybirdpaw is willing to actually listen to them about why they need the rocks and isn't clouded by history. He consistently fights his clanmates about the need to broker peace with ThunderClan and is very vocal about his opinion on chasing out WindClan a second time even as his clan starves. The non-sense that happened with Brokenstar lasts a wee-bit longer but Bluestar takes action against him and temporarily occupies ShadowClan territory until all of the rogue stragglers are hunted down and imprisoned.
In fact, he's so deeply against driving out Magpiestar's clan he outright refuses to fight. In RiverClan, diplomats aren't necessarily meant to fight - and in some cases they're actually discouraged from figthting - but Ladybirdpaw outright refusing to assist his clan was more of a statement than anything. Stormstar sentenced him to constant tasks alone that he did without question and refused to change his mind - when the patrol left for the attack, he tells them that when they return defeated, they'll know the stars were disappointed in them.
Stormstar gave him a lot of credit for now crowing "I told you so" when RiverClan came back after ThunderClan intervened. He did name him Ladybirdtongue though and promised to listen to him more - something that resulted in the rejuvenation of RiverClan after Ladybirdongue worked out a deal with ThunderClan. They later recieved refugees from ThunderClan caused by Tigerstar's lust for power and violence against anyone of non-clan blood.
Deputy Stoneswipe all but loses his shit when it's revealed that Tigerstar murdered Bluestar and claimed it was for the good of the clan. Ladybirdtongue is at Leopardstar's side for this incident as ThunderClan allies with ShadowClan in an attempt to strong-arm them into joining him after assassinating both Magpiestar and Deadfoot sending WindClan into political chaos.
By the end of it all, Sorrelshine becomes Sorrelstar, Sandstorm defeats and overthrows Tigerstar and becomes Sandstar again albeit with Ravensnap as her deputy; Raven having faked his death after revealing the truth to Bluestar. Bluestar sacrificed herself for him and he wants to be a good leader for her. Grayplume is clumsy and bit naiive but Ladybirdtongue likes him well enough - they're mates on the low and complain about their idiot clanmates always wanting to fight good-naturedly. ShadowClan is mostly fine; Scorchstar takes over with Lizardstripe as deputy.
---
WindClan would be the most interesting - in this instance he'd probably be seeking out his father's mate. Magpiestar would name him Copperpaw (since Hraye means "copper") after his father. Copperpaw would probably experiment with being called Firepaw. Flashpaw and Cyclonepaw before settling on Coppertempest as a warrior. He'd likely be an escort and when Magpiestar retires and Deadstar takes control, he becomes WindClan's new deputy and the first Escort deputy in recent WindClan history.
He fights pretty damn hard when they're driven from their home and makes good friends with the ThunderClanners who bring them back. He harbors a deep distrust for ShadowClan - understandably so. Magpiestar retires early as Brokenstar tried to murder Copperpaw and he took the blow from him + all the hunger had him die a couple times. Copperpaw becomes Coppertempest when he absolutely destroys a rogue ambush patrol led by Brokentail.
Most of this AU would be Coppertempest dealing with the complaints of him being an escort who knows nothing but camp politics and being leader. The other stuff with Tigerstar is certainly important but it wouldn't be the main focus as he's struggling to get a handle on the civil war arising. His clan eventually settles down and accepts they may be wrong about him - and of course he is the best option as deputy. Coppertempest gets along well with ThunderClan who has always rushed to WindClan's aid; when Bluestar is attacked, she managed to escape and takes refuge in WindClan as Bluedawn and explains what happened even as Tigerstar claims that she was abusing her power at the next Gathering.
Supporters of Bluedawn are killed off or sneak away to regroup in WindClan as well with the intent of taking back their territory. It's a hard battle but they do succeed - Bluedawn retakes her title as leader and names Longtail as her deputy because he was a mole for her and her supporters during all of this mess.

I'm gonna drop this here bc I made it forever ago, and I want to either be held accountable to actually finish some part of it, or at least share my chaotic thoughts about it from forever ago
Tigerpaw is Bluefur's apprentice
Scourge joins the clan when Bluefur invites him after their encounter in the forest
Bluefur has her kits, but they leave. She understands Mosskit’s too weak, and so she leaves him in the den and takes the others to Riverclan. Mosskit grows up to be Mossleaf. They become an amazing warrior, but do turn evil and soon plan to take over the clan, believing their mother is too kind. So they act nice and all, but secretly plant ideas and bad thoughts into Bluestar’s mind, to try and make them her deputy. They kill Redtail the day Firepaw joins the clan, and after being told of the prophecy since they’re close to Spottedleaf, they push thoughts that maybe the prophecy meant something bad about the fire. As more disasters arise, Bluestar does begin to believe that maybe Mossleaf was right, but it was her decision to bring Firepaw into the clan, she doesn’t wanna go back on her words this late into it. What really pushes her over the edge, however, was when the apprentice tried to bring the ideas that Mossleaf was evil onto her. She denies everything, and sends him out, making sure he doesn’t try to say something like that again. At this point, she does make Mossleaf her apprentice, but rumors do spread that she only chose Mossleaf because she’s their mother. However, this only drives her to become more and more upset.
Led by Mossleaf, a battle takes place at sunningrocks, both Mossleaf and now-Fireheart are at the fight. Mossleaf sadly dies, but the issue is no one saw it happen, and Fireheart was the one dragging the body away. Bluestar believes that because of this that Fireheart killed Mossleaf and subsequently with past events and what Mossleaf made her believe, that Fireheart was really the evil cat. As the ultimate punishment for the harm Starclan brought for letting in a kittypet and in a fit of rage, she killed Fireheart and began to rule over Thunderclan with an iron fist, acting brash and harsh against all the other clans. No-nonsense, no deals, nothing. Since Brokenstar died at birth, it is Hopestar that is now leading the clan after the death of his father. He speaks of how resources are running low at the gathering, and tries to make amends with Bluestar who only faces him coldly, saying, to the disbelief of many, that if she so much as catches a whiff of Shadowclan on her territory, it will mean war. Same goes for Riverclan, as she will make sure Thunderclan owns the Sunningrocks.
Scourge(now known as Smallstrike) tries to stand up against her, but doesn’t succeed well, as she was his mentor and the cats do need to follow their leader. She sets Sandstorm as her deputy, and Sandstorm is brash against what Bluestar believes, but follows suit while secretly plotting against her.
New main group in this au: Sandstorm, Smallstrike, and Ravenpaw(given the name of Ravenwing)

Healer Ravenpaw (Part 1)
Note that medicine cats are called healers in this AU(and all my other AUs). Here’s some fun facts and a rough outline for this AU
Ravenpaw is selectively mute and due to his anxiety is a bit more behind in his training than Dustpaw and Sandpaw
One day he witnesses Tigerclaw killing Redtail and tries to warn ThunderClan but is unable to tell anyone in time because of his selective mutism(Tigerclaw uses the same excuse as canon)
Ravenpaw, fearing for his safety, asks Spottedleaf to become her apprentice which she gladly accepts
Ravenpaw soon becomes friends with Firepaw and also learns Firepaw has a strong connection with StarClan despite having no clan blood
Ravenpaw eventually confides in Firepaw about the truth behind Redtail’s death and Firepaw agrees to help Ravenpaw expose the truth to the rest of the clan
Ravenpaw does not have a strong connection with StarClan but makes great progress in his training of herb memorization and uses, as well as having a gentle steady paw when taking care of other cat’s injuries
Ravenpaw also feels more comfortable with the other healers who all accept him despite his anxiety and shyness
Firepaw blatantly tells Bluestar that Tigerclaw is untrustworthy but she doesn't believe him and tells him not to spread false rumors
When Yellowfang is brought to ThunderClan as a prisoner, Ravenpaw doubts her story of WindClan being chased off and is horrified when Brokenstar declares it to be true at a gathering
Ravenpaw finds himself being one of a few cats believing Yellowfang to be innocent of the crime of killing kits (The other cats being Firepaw, Bluestar and Spottedleaf)
When ShadowClan attacks ThunderClan camp Lionheart is blinded bringing into question wether or not he can continue being deputy bringing up Ravenpaw’s fears that Tigerclaw will get the deputy position so he fakes a sign that Goldenflower should be made deputy if Lionheart is unable to recover
Bluestar is hesitant to make Goldenflower deputy because she’s a permanent queen and has never had an apprentice but Goldenflower accepts the position if it is what StarClan intends
Goldenflower is then given Graypaw to complete his training since Lionheart will be unable to recover before Graypaw is made a warrior
Ravenpaw is wracked with guilt and confesses his faked sign to Firepaw who explains that Redtail approved of the decision, revealing his connection is actually to ghosts and not StarClan
Ravenpaw is coming back from collecting herbs when Frostfur’s kits go missing and he discovered Spottedleaf’s body when he enters the healers den to drop off the herbs
He stays behind when Firepaw and Graypaw go after Yellowfang where he’s confronted by Tigerclaw who reveals he knows Ravenpaw faked the sign
He tries to threaten Ravenpaw but Goldenflower arrives with Lionheart and they question whats going on to which Tigerclaw manages to cover and state he was trying to console Ravenpaw who was upset over finding his mentor dead
When Firepaw arrives back in camp with a ThunderClan patrol, Frostfur’s kits and Yellowfang, Bluestar decides to make Yellowfang the new healer and places her as Ravenpaw’s new mentor
Fireheart and Graystripe are made warriors and a vigil is held that night for the new warriors as well as for Spottedleaf
Fireheart seems to notice Tigerclaw giving Ravenpaw evil looks and he whispers to Ravenpaw that he won’t ever let Tigerclaw hurt him

Would Frostfur be as terrible as she is at this moment if Lionheart had lived?
thats an interesting question i dont think ive thought about. well, okay, i have, but in the opposite way...
so, first of, lemme answer the question:
No, probably not. I think Lionheart would have been able to convince her to see otherwise. Additionally, his death wouldn't have occurred which meant Frostfur would have one less Event that makes her break.
now, let me tell you the original story of Frostfur's descent into villainhood, one in which she was actually a villain. I don't think I've ever even told FireAlder all of this, but this was like, early BT AU days, I had this idea that I never ended up going through with:
Bluestar died early. Either as a deputy, or a leader, but, either way, she was dead (perhaps Thistleclaw killed her, perhaps something else).
Lionheart was deputy. He became leader. Lionstar.
Maybe he choose someone else as deputy first---Redtail? Whitestorm? Who knows---but they died. Or maybe from the start he chose:
Frostfur.
Frostfur was deputy of ThunderClan.
How did she do this?
Well, Lionheart was very gullible and he loved his wife to a fault. He would do anything for her. He tried to have a kind and noble heart, but her words and whispers of curses and codebreakers got to him. He believed her.
So, as Lionstar, she convinced him she was the only one he could trust (because she thought it was true and that all of ThunderClan was cursed).
And as deputy, she got Creekflower exiled first for getting with a kittypet. Then maybe Fireheart next. Or Spottedleaf.
I'm not sure where the story goes from there but---Frostfur was deputy and she was one of the primary villains. She manipulated Tigerclaw/star in this story too. Perhaps even Thistleclaw/star and Scourge and Brokentail/star and anyone else she could get under her control.
