CAESAR AUGUSTUS AND MARCUS LICINIUS CRASSUS
this is about the spolia opima that crassus was robbed of lmao. like, yeah okay octavian could've asked him not to claim it, but nevertheless. a kind of theft happened there.

i know i say that atsushi likes to spend his extra cash on kyouka but i also dont think kyouka lives there for "free" like she could, atsushi wouldn't mind, but i feel like it makes more sense for her to contribute since its not like atsushi's rolling in cash
maybe atsushi wouald be hesitant at a 50-50 thing becuz she's so little and he cares so much about her but i dont believe its 0-100 ya know?

I feel like Mac & Dennis had to have SOME in-universe rationalization for getting rid of all of their furniture and all I could come up with was
A) sold (or attempted and failed to sell) their preexisting furniture to invest in their awesome new inflatable furniture business
B) to make room for their inflatable furniture business inventory (would be a literal explanation for the 'no room' comment) or
C) they had actually been renting NOT JUST the couch but the beds and chairs and etc, and panicked upon discovering this was a dumb as fuck move

Everyone talks about how expensive rent is but i dont ever see anyone talk about how expensive furniture and house stuff is. Saving up for like, a couch is insanely expensive. Buying one nice thing is fine but if you need several things suddenly the price builds up sooo high like I want to have a nice table and some nice chairs and maybe a nice lamp and suddenly that can all run me for 800eur easily at the cheapest.

The post insinuating people who grew up with siblings are better roommates or good at sharing or whatever compared to only children is rly funny ur experiences are not universal etc etc (Which is fine and why I’m not adding 2 the post) but me personally having grown up with two siblings directly contributed to me being intensely territorial with my space and belongings LMAO you guys shared?? Successfully?? Being forced to share objects didn’t lead to huge and stupid fights that were only resolved when The Father threatened violence??? The world is so wonderful. I want what you and your siblings have.

My #1 advice for people moving out is to NOT buy nonstick cookware... not only is the lifespan of nonstick a MAXIMUM of 7 years (usually more like 2-5 years) but teflon, aka Polytetrafluoroethylene-- the plastic coating that makes the cookware nonstick, infuses microplastics into your food.
New cookware sets can cost hundreds of dollars so my advice is to look for 100% stainless steel cookware in thrift stores. Safer, cheaper, & instead of needing to replace every 2-7 years they can potentially last you the entire rest of your life AND they won't start shedding plastic into your food

sharing muffins in the workspace? to guarantee happy and productive work? what the fuck is that about. bad hates even being THOUGHT of as a federation employee but they did go to him to do that survey. but they also refused to give him his reward and gave him a bunch of furniture instead. but there was that one "you're intelligent" book. but they hit foolish when he suggests arresting bad (but they secretly hate foolish so maybe they would have done that if he suggested to arrest anyone other than tazercraft/tubbo lmao). but cucurucho mocked bad when bobby died. but he killed elq twice (once was max's plan he helped with, the other was his plan max helped with) and the feds helped elq kidnap dapper. but he never faced more consequences when dapper was returned to him early. but elq and cucurucho were separate entities who we KNOW didn't tell each other everything. but bad was the first one who damaged the federation building and destroyed the road outside. but phil was the one put in a cage. but the workers were/are going to report his ass to cucurcho for threatening them... but the furniture theft. but the invisible entity. but what the fuck is going on !!!!

"12.1 MILLION tons of furniture waste went to landfills in the us in 2018*
That’s over 24.2 billion pounds (add in carpets and rugs for another almost 5 billion pounds) discarded to sit in landfills in 2018 alone.
For perspective, when we furnish a home, a one-bedroom apartment requires about 1.1 tons of furniture, so (for some quick math) 11 MILLION one-bedroom apartments are getting tossed into the trash each year.
Meanwhile, 37.9 million people, or 11.6% of the U.S. population, are living in poverty (2021 U.S. Census) and lack the basic necessities to make a house a home.
We solve two problems at the same time, collecting, repurposing, and curating gently-used furnishings and household goods (saving them from landfill) AND giving them to people in need."
"Requesting furniture from Make It Home requires a social worker, caseworker or case manager to make any requests.
If you need furniture, please contact your social worker or if you do not have a social worker, we can recommend some agencies that may be able to help you."
