someone apparently bookmarked 3 of my fics the other day, which is great! i really appreciate it! and normally i try not to assume the reason, but this person's bookmark collection was public and specifically labeled as fics they 'read and liked or loved'... and not a single kudos was given. they liked them enough to add them to a huge public collection but they couldn't hit that one little button that would actually notify me 😭 i feel so bad for all the authors in that collection and for the reminder that even when people read and like your fic, they simply may not say a thing. please, i'm begging, hit the kudos if you enjoyed a fic. leaving a comment is even better and is likely to make an author's day, but at LEAST hit the kudos. it means the world.
