Ligur: what's the A. Stand for?

Crowley: i urgh.... *Mind skips through all the actors he knows.* A....nthony? Anthony Crowley.

Ligur: why Anthony?

Crowley:..... Urgh... You need first and last names in this era? (Not his invention, surely. He didn't wish to join names with a certain someone. What gave you that Idea?)

Ligur: hmm... A's. Doesn't that angel bastard have an A. Too?

Crowley: pfff.... This is a completely different A. It's for Anthony, not for Aziraphale or whatever he's going by these days. In fact, I don't even know what he's going by these days. And I'm not just not having the same A, mine is joined by a... j. Anthony J. Crowley.

Ligur: .... Fine then. *Leaves*

gang, which tattoo should i get first when i am finally allowed to:

1. a sunflower on my left shoulder- because sunflowers contain many tiny flowers inside their one flower and are constantly facing the sun and MMMM SYMBOLISM. plus, my family has always loved sunflowers, it’s kinda our thing. lastly, one of my favorite song lyrics of all time is “we are sunflowers begging for light” and i think that i (indirectly and possibly even directly) want to have @bearsintreesofficial ‘s lyrics on my body forever

2. a lil snake by my ear- yes good omens shut up i wanna be crowley BUT ALSO because it would symbolize a lil guy whispering my intrusive thoughts in my ear, like the devil on my shoulder. then, that gives me something to visualize when i think of my intrusive thoughts, and then i can tell the lil snake to go fuck off. visualizing stuff like that helps me, idk.

3. the quote “live forever or die in the attempt” from Catch-22 by Joseph Heller- i love this quote so fucking much, i want it tattooed on my SOUL, it’s so good, AND it’s in one of my favorite Bears in Trees songs of all time (Mossy Cobblestone, check it out). it is such a cliche “YOLO!” quote, but the rest of it adds more meaning- the full quote says, “[Yossarian] had decided to live forever or die in the attempt, and his only mission each time he went up was to come down alive.” MMMMM BEAUTIFUL!

4. A constellation on a wrist- i don’t know which one i want yet. maybe Andromeda, because she spent her whole life trapped only to be taken by Perseus, WITHOUT A CHOICE, to his homeland (which is so fucked up). or maybe i’ll do Virgo, because i am a virgo and give chronic virgo energy. maybe i’ll do Andromeda and the constellation of her mom, Cassiopeia. who knows?

My favourite personal HC is that Crowley inspired a lot of poetic artists throughout the ages. Bro was in the pub in Ireland, and Hozier said, "Keep goin'" When they said, "I slithered out from Eden just to sit outside his door!" IDK what she would have been doing in France, but Danse Macabre is a product of Antoinette Jantoinette Crowley. Crowley probably talked to William Blake once, and then we got The Songs of Experience.

Me: I shouldn't disturb Neil Gaiman. I shouldn't send an ask unless I really have no way of getting the information otherwise. I'll check old interviews and all the articles that vaguely mention the subject. Of course it goes without saying that I'll read though the FAQ in its entirety. Only then, will I send an ask. However, I'd be very polite and praise his work, as anyone would. I'd also keep it short, because I don't want to waste his time. But I'd keep it very very respectful. I'd be sending a message to a very talented, amazing author that deals with god knows how many like me. Or I'd just stay in the dark and not send him an ask. Yeah, I'll do that.
