WE DID IT!!!!!!!!
Oh. My. God. Let me just start by saying the over 10+ years of having Tumblr, I neeeever would've thought that I would have over 1,000 followers, LET ALONE 5 FOLLOWERS THAT WEREN'T MY FRIENDS! This is such a huge accomplishment, especially since I took a small break from Tumblr for a couple years for school & all & being back with sooo many things that's improved (for the most part) & just kind of casually being back has been super nice! So I did also say I had a surprise if I hit 1,000 followers, so here it is! I got a second account here!
It's called @celestialiron, where I'll start posting my YouTube channel/any other content I'm going to start posting again (hopefully sooner than later). I'm super excited to be sharing what I've been doing & will continue to do on my channel & content here too! On another note too, I am officially opening up to do any music commission works again! I still have to set up a few things for the payments of commissions, but overall I'm excited to where the future of content will take us!
Again, with all the love from the bottom of my heart, thank you all so much!

In a world inundated with text-based content, videos have emerged as a compelling way to convey messages, evoke emotions, and establish a personal connection with the audience. Videos allow for visual and auditory storytelling, making them an ideal medium to engage viewers on a deeper level.
Defining Your Target Audience and Goals Before embarking on your YouTube journey, it's essential to define your target audience and establish clear goals. Understanding who your content is meant for will help tailor your videos to their preferences, ensuring better engagement and retention.
Keyword Research:
The Foundation of YouTube SEO Keyword research is the cornerstone of a successful YouTube SEO strategy. By identifying relevant and high-traffic keywords, you can optimize your video titles, descriptions, and tags, making it easier for both viewers and search engines to discover your content.
Crafting Captivating Thumbnails and Titles Thumbnails and titles are the first impressions viewers have of your videos. Create eye-catching thumbnails that accurately represent your content, and craft titles that are both intriguing and descriptive to entice clicks.
Creating High-Quality and Engaging Videos The quality of your video production directly impacts viewer perception. Invest in good equipment and editing tools to create visually appealing and engaging videos that hold your audience's attention.
Optimizing Video Descriptions and Tags Video descriptions and tags provide additional context for your content. Use relevant keywords naturally in your descriptions and tags to improve discoverability and SEO ranking.
Leveraging End Screens and Cards for Engagement End screens and cards are powerful tools for increasing viewer engagement. Use them strategically to promote other videos, playlists, and encourage viewers to subscribe.
Consistency is Key: Establishing a Posting Schedule Consistency plays a pivotal role in retaining and growing your audience. Set a realistic posting schedule and stick to it, as regular uploads help build anticipation and trust.
Engaging with Your Community: Comments and Feedback Engage with your viewers by responding to comments and feedback. Building a sense of community fosters loyalty and encourages viewers to keep coming back for more.
Promotion and Distribution Beyond YouTube Expand your content's reach by promoting it on other social media platforms and relevant online communities. Cross-promotion can attract new viewers and subscribers to your channel.
Analyzing Metrics for Continuous Improvement Regularly analyze metrics like watch time, audience retention, and click-through rates to gauge the performance of your videos. Use these insights to refine your content strategy and improve viewer satisfaction.
Staying Updated with Trends and Algorithm Changes The digital landscape is ever-evolving, and YouTube's algorithm is no exception. Stay updated with the latest trends and algorithm changes to adapt your content strategy accordingly.
Collaborations: Expanding Your Reach Collaborating with other content creators can introduce your channel to new audiences. Choose collaborations that align with your niche and offer mutual benefits.
Monetization Strategies: From Ads to Merchandising YouTube offers various monetization options, from ads to merchandise shelf integration. Explore these options once you've built a substantial viewer base to generate revenue.
Protecting Your Content: Copyright and Fair Use Understand the rules surrounding copyright and fair use to protect your content and avoid potential legal issues. Respect intellectual property rights and use copyrighted material responsibly.
Conclusion Crafting a successful YouTube content strategy involves a combination of creativity, strategy, and adaptability. By understanding your audience, optimizing for search engines, and consistently delivering high-quality content, you can create a thriving YouTube channel that resonates with viewers and drives online success.
FAQs Q1: How often should I post videos on my YouTube channel? A: The posting frequency depends on your capacity and goals. Consistency matters more than frequency, so choose a schedule you can maintain.
Q2: Can I use music in my videos without worrying about copyright issues? A: Using copyrighted music without proper licensing can lead to content takedowns or copyright strikes. Consider using royalty-free music or obtaining the necessary licenses.
Q3: How can I encourage viewers to subscribe to my channel? A: Use compelling end screens, cards, and verbal calls-to-action in your videos to encourage viewers to subscribe and stay connected.
Q4: What metrics should I pay the most attention to? A: Metrics like watch time, audience retention, and engagement rates are key indicators of your video's performance and viewer satisfaction.
Q5: When should I start monetizing my channel? A: Focus on building a loyal audience first. Once you have a decent subscriber base and consistent views, explore monetization options to generate revenue.

Does Instagram pay content creators?
No, Instagram does not have a direct program for paying content creators. However, content creators on the platform can earn money through various means such as sponsored posts, brand deals, affiliate marketing, and promoting their own products or services. Additionally, some instagram content creators may also earn money through collaborations with brands and businesses, merchandise sales, and more.
In recent years, there has been a growing trend for creators to monetize their content and social media presence, and many have been able to build careers and substantial income streams through platforms like Instagram. However, success in monetizing content on Instagram or any other platform often requires a significant amount of hard work, creativity, and consistency, as well as a large and engaged following.
How do you get a content creator on Instagram? To become a content creator on Instagram, you need to first establish a presence on the platform by setting up an account and posting regularly. Here are some steps you can follow to get started:
Choose a niche or theme for your content: Think about what you're passionate about and what you want to share with your audience. This could be anything from fashion and beauty to travel and food.
Create a visually appealing account: Choose an attractive profile picture and cover photo, and make sure your account is public so anyone can see your content.
Start posting regularly: Post high-quality photos and videos that align with your niche or theme. Consider using popular hashtags relevant to your content to reach a wider audience.
Engage with your followers: Respond to comments, like and share content from other users, and participate in conversations.
Build your following: To grow your audience, consider running promotions or contests, collaborating with other content creators, or using paid advertising to reach new followers.
Monetize your content: Once you have built a substantial following, you can start monetizing your content through sponsored posts, brand deals, affiliate marketing, and more.
Keep in mind that building a successful content creator account on Instagram takes time, effort, and persistence. Focus on creating high-quality content that resonates with your audience and keep engaging with your followers to grow your presence on the platform
What is the difference between influencer and content creator? The terms "influencer" and "content creator" are often used interchangeably, but they can have slightly different connotations.
A content creator is a person who creates and publishes content, typically on social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok. Content creators can create a variety of content, such as photos, videos, blog posts, and more, and can focus on a wide range of topics, such as fashion, beauty, travel, food, and more.
An influencer, on the other hand, is a content creator who has a significant following on social media and the ability to influence the decisions and actions of their followers. Influencers are often paid by brands to promote products or services to their followers, and their endorsement can carry weight with their audience.
In practice, the terms "influencer" and "content creator" are often used interchangeably, as many content creators are also influencers with the ability to influence their followers. However, not all content creators are influencers, and not all influencers are content creators. The main difference between the two lies in the level of influence they have over their followers.
How many followers do you need to be an Instagram content creator?
There is no set number of followers that you need to be considered a content creator on Instagram. The number of followers you have is just one factor that can influence your reach and impact on the platform, and many Instagram content creators have built successful careers with fewer followers than others.
That being said, having a large following can certainly help you reach a wider audience and open up more opportunities for monetizing your content through brand deals, sponsored posts, and more. In general, the more followers you have, the more appealing you may be to brands and businesses looking to partner with content creators.
However, it's important to note that the quality of your content and your engagement with your followers is also important, as these can help you build a strong and loyal following over time. So, instead of focusing solely on the number of followers, focus on creating high-quality content that resonates with your audience, engaging with your followers regularly, and continuously building your content.

I kinda feel like Hbomberguy was writing a Master's Thesis on plagiarism and youtube content creators, and then thought "Hey, I could make an accompanying video to go with this!" and then when he was almost don making it he decided "Y'know what, this shouldn't be behind a paywall like my thesis will be, I'll throw it up on youtube." And then he just. Posted it. The week before Finals Week for most American college students. Like a massive "This Is Your Final Warning" to all HS and above students who may be considering plagiarizing their final papers or something.

To all my creatives out there; you’re not a flop because your artwork didn’t get 100 likes, or because your video didn’t hit the 1k view mark, or you lost a few followers. You didn’t get ‘worse’ and people don’t suddenly hate what you’re putting out there. Sometimes you just get less engagement, but it’s not because you’re making ‘bad’ art!
Keep creating and making things YOU enjoy! You have to be your own biggest fan!

This guy. This guy is proof that if you are passionate about something and you talk about it, it will be entertaining
Tumblr media
I watched this guy talk about a series of movies that I have no interest in for an entire hour. I watched him go on a rant about the handling of a character I had never heard of in the remake of a game I had never played. It was still entertaining because it was genuine, because viewers feed off passionate, because this guy only seems to talk about things he likes even if those things have nothing to do with his channel. I could listen to him rant for hours about literally anything as long as he felt strongly about it, or at least seemed like it and honestly I don’t think that power is exclusive to Pastra
if you are passionate about something and you want to talk about it, do it in front of a camera and show me the video I will watch it while I draw. Who knows maybe I’ll even know what your talking about once in a blue moon.
