hate when you finish a book that's really mid and you're like 'well that was certainly a book that i just read. i will never think about it again'.

We are having an unusually beautiful June so far.
#I went for a long walk in the woods#then sat in the bar of a fancy country manor hotel writing and making a coffee last three hours#and watching posh wedding guests with pink fascinators and lots of interpersonal issues#10/10 writing location#would highly recommend#there are lots of great characters to pull directly from life in a posh hotel bar#one day I will book myself into that hotel and call it a “writing retreat”#lou writes#lou walks
