basic astro observations and opinions

we can all agree that cusps aren't necessarily real, but i've noticed that people who are born about a day or two before the sun moves into the next sign, possess similar qualities to the previous sign.

the first house has a lot more to do with the bodily health of an individual rather than the sixth house. after all, the first house sets the tone for one's natal chart and is literally you (physical body) while the sixth house represents daily routines and services. (maintenance, diet, care of the body).

water & air mars natives can be a lot more aggressive and/or snappy than fire & earth mars natives.

water signs aren't as emotional as y'all make them out to be.

i can agree that a scorpio moon is debilitated, but i disagree about its expression. i feel as though scoprio moon natives can feel their emotions very deeply, and they do have a layer of emotional intensity.

any planet that is debilitated or has hard aspects is a major opportunity for growth and development. once you learn to work with those energies, your life will be a lot smoother.

you'll never be able to fully heal your chiron wounds, but they do become easier to manage. not only that, but the topics pertaining to your chiron will allow you to become a professional in experience, so you can help others in correspondence to your chiron themes.

if scorpio can represent control, taurus can represent binging. wherever your taurus-scorpio axis is can show you where you feel the need to be more in control vs where you can potentially binge.

human nature is flawed, so this means that a sign's energy will never be perfectly manifested since it's in contact with human nature. if one judges a sign based only on a person's behavior, they can be judging the effects of human nature on the sign rather than the sign itself. a lot of people do not take the person out of astrology before giving their interpretations, thus, distorting and diluting astrology to one's personal experience rather than what it is at its core. it's one thing to joke about signs and discuss your experiences with certain energies, but to allow that to distort your perception and interaction with people, prohibits you from experiencing different energies and it's unfair.

Metal Vocalist Indicators in Astrology

I decided to do something a little different to practice reading natal charts so I had the idea to look at metal vocalists' natal charts. Unfortunately, for many of them I couldn't find any birth times so these will mostly be aspects and planet placements. I was specifically aiming for metal vocalists that actually "scream" and not just sing, even if the music they make is more like rock rather than metal to see if there's any significant indicators. So i'll start this list with the placements I saw the most.

Water Mars

This is the placement that appeared the most. I was actually very surprised at first to see this placement pop up A LOT. But the more I thought about it, the more things added up, because of how much water mars bottle up how the feel. I think water mars channel the energy of metal music very well. I was expecting to see a lot of fire mars, but I only saw a sprinkle of leo mars and aries mars here and there.

Examples:

Scorpio mars: Serj Tankian (System of a Down), Jonathan Davis (Korn), Marilyn Manson (Marilyn Manson), Angela Gossow(Arch Enemy), Joe Duplantier (Gojira), Franz (Attila), Kadeem France(Loathe), Winston McCall (Parkway Drive).

Cancer mars: Phil Anselmo (Pantera), Chester Bennington (Linkin Park), Caleb Shomo (Beartooth), George Fisher (Cannibal Corpse), Chris Roetter (Like Moths to Flames), CJ McMahon(Thy Art is Murder), Alex Koehler (Chelsea Grin), Ben Burnley (Breaking Benjamin).

Pisces mars: Chino Moreno (Deftones), Zach de la Rocha (Rage against the machine- yes, i know, he raps, but he does in fact scream in his music), Frank Mullen (Suffocation), Jake Luhrs(August Burns Red).

Mercury-Uranus

This placement makes a lot of sense, because this placement is a huge indicator of having a unique voice in general. I mostly saw a mix of harsh aspects(conjunction, oppositions and squares.), but there were some harmonious placements also.

Most of the people on this list above had this placement, but here are some without water mars:

Ex:

James Hetfeild-conj.(Metallica), Tatiana Shamayluk-sextile(Jinjer), Maynard James Keenan-trine(Tool/ A Perfect Circle), Morgan Landers-sextile(Kittie).

Mars-Uranus

People with this placement have a desire to express themselves through ways that are considered 'out there', hence, this is a good placement for metal vocalists(screaming).

Ex:

Tom Araya -conj.(Slayer), Corey Taylor -opp.(Slipknot), Maria Brink -square(In This Moment), Lacey Sturm -Trine (Flyleaf), David Draiman -square(Disturbed), Chad Grey -Trine(Mudvayne).

Extra Indicators:

These placements weren't as common but I saw some synchronicities to them, so here are some extras.

Mercury-pluto/lilith/saturn- I suppose these placements could sort of an edge to how people communicate, but it wasn't super abundant.

Sun-Mars - this was fairly common, and ofc it makes sense that people with this aspect would do something as bold as scream in music.

Moon-mars - This one wasn't super common but I could definitely see how people with this placement could be potential metal vocalists.

Leo Mars- after all the water mars this is the other more common mars placement. Roar, Leo, roar!!

Taurus Mars- Yet another placement I was not expecting, but I did see it in a lot of people's charts.

Possibly Virgo moon- okay, to be fair, again, most of the natal charts I looked at didn't have birth times so this could be inaccurate. If it wasnt for that I would've put this placement at the top of the list with water mars, but from what I saw a-hell-lot of vocalists had this moon sign.

Conclusion

I'm going to be honest, I was expecting to see a lot of aquarius or aries, but to my suprise that wasn't the case. But the point of this post isn't to say that you MUST have these placements to be a vocalist or whatever, but just to see what kind of energy is most likely to be suited for metal screaming. I put a lot of time into researching this stuff, but it was fun anyways😁.

• She’s very honest, strongly opinionated, a sweet soul and a hard worker!

• She probably doesn’t really open up much about her past but doesn’t mind listening to her partner’s rants.

• Probably might get irritated easily because of her Aries mercury.

• I think what would piss her off would be a flighty, insensitive partner that often beats around the bush or holds back instead of saying what he really wants to say.

• Also, people who can’t keep their promises or can’t commit!

• To get back in her good graces a man would have to go out of his way and do little things for her like cook for her, maybe buy her a nice necklace, share his snacks with her, ask if she wants to cuddle with him and they’ll watch a movie anddd let her know he cares for her and didn’t mean for things to get out of hand.

• Maybe even smooth-talk her and shower her with affection & attention.

• She’ll probably like a man who isn’t afraid to be vulnerable with her!

• When she’s really mad though? I imagine her to maybe have a passive aggressive vibe and be the ignoring/cold shoulder/silent treatment type after arguing.

• She’s probably fiery in general but she’s also very sweet and even if it doesn’t show she’s very caring!

• I think her relationship with a Libra sun/Sag moon/Sag mars/Scorpio Mercury guy would probably be a harmonious sweet union.

• I think he’d trust her because he’d notice how straightforward and honest she can be.

• He’d be the fiery “tough love” type and probably see her as bold, sort of nonchalant sometimes, funny and very loving!

• She’d probably see him as an honest, charming, sort of analytical, impulsive, protective type.

• I feel like they’d be each other’s biggest supporters in everything!!

• She might be very artistic and into fashion or really good at acting while he might be very into sports, traveling and cars!

• The down side to this union would be his need to shut her down in arguments if he thinks she’s being overly emotional or his need to constantly be out and about all the time.

💜 Earth sun + water moon = masked vulnerability. I’m especially looking at you Capricorn sun and Scorpio moon.

💙 Virgo Venus aesthetic is either soft or the complete opposite.

💜Leo placements really don’t have to try for attention. Especially big 3. They really stick out!

💙Ya’ll think cancer mars have explosive anger, have you met Saturn ruled Mars? Capricorn and Aquarius Mars anger can be extremely explosive.

💜Quincunx aspects (inconjunctions) in astrology need to be talked about more.

💙Lilith in the 12th house in the ascendent sign will always unconsciously embody Lilith energy until they realise and learn to work with it.

💜Mars + Jupiter conjunction = sporty children. These people can also easily become argumentative.

💙Need tips on how to style your outfit? Bag a Taurus/Libra venus.

💜Neptunians are so ethereal like please. Especially when Neptunes makes aspect to the ascendent.

💙Water dominants 🤝 clinical daydreaming + zoning out mid sentence.

💜Having water and earth placements is very good if you want to get involved in the arts. Water provides the imagination and earth the drive to bring it into reality.

💙You can really spot a scorpio from a mile away. The aura and the eyes.

Astrology Observations - Rising Signs & Planets

Cancer rising as a parent unintentionally will tend to impose their upbringing's rules and traditions unto their household, and if these are discarded or not followed, they can get pretty upset or offended (they won't tell you this, tough), because attempting to organize and structure the life of their loved ones is one of the strongest ways to show their tenderness and care. This is especially true in routines related to food and family time.

Saturn rising, particularly in Capricorn (and to a lesser degree in the other earth signs) gives amazing bone structure, pretty teeth and refined face shape (well-sculpted cheekbones). They are likely not ones who have experienced broken bones in their childhoods. Depending on the ASC sign, Saturn here may also cause short stature and a sturdy anatomy.

Gemini risings often possess appealing and vibrant gesticulations, beautiful and elongated hands, feet and limbs, a unique tone of voice and a ridiculously contagious smile or laughter. On the flipside (sorry to say this), many of them are very good liars and tricksters, as their high intellect quickly figures out what you want to hear and see in them.

A secret us Scorpio rising folks don't what you to know is that whenever we are interested in you, our eyes will give us away rather easily. We'll hardly confess our feelings until much later, if at all, but if you feel under a microscope in our presence (if you are subject of our involuntarily eerie and soul-piercing gaze), you should know we really like you. You might as well think we hate or despise you... but it's completely the opposite!

Leo risings have gorgeous thick and voluminous hair, usually on the wavy side. Jupiter rising can exaggerate your rising sign's ruling body parts. For example, in Cancer: large boobs or wide thorax / in Taurus: wide and sensuous lips / in Libra: beautiful face, amazing skin and voluminous butt, etc. Unfortunately, Jupiter rising folks can also get overweight super easily.

Mercury ruling risings (including Mercury 1st house and Venus in Gemini) usually make the native look younger than they really are. They also have something really noticeable about their walk... from clumsy to swift, all styles will differ, but they will move in ways that are out of the ordinary, for some reason.

Mars ruling risings NEED some sort of intense physical activity to be balanced, if not, they can literally go crazy due to all their bottled-up anger and restless energy. That's why many of them have a knack for the military, gym or sports, not only because they are good at them, but because this eases their stress in a way nothing else can. And yes, sex is included too.

Water risings, particularly Pisces (including Neptune and Moon in 1st house/conjunct ASC) have the most mesmerizing stare. It doesn’t matter their size or form, their gaze is otherworldly, ethereal, and somehow hypnotic. Water rising souls speak through their eyes, and I’m in love with that.

A Mars rising man can be mistaken for a f*ck boy much easier than other placements, especially if they have Air or Fire in 1st house. Women with this placement have huge sex appeal too, but they tend to attract a lot of envy and rivalry from other females, as their personality is perceived as confrontational and aggressive, even if they don’t act that way. This configuration gives good results when they work with men, but not so much with women.

Astrology Beauty Notes 💕

Just some personal views/observations about some placement's beauty and impression.

If God desired to crystallize the whole ocean into a small orb, that orb would indeed be Pisces Ascendant/Mc or Neptune prominent people's eyes. There is something in their gaze that causes you to get mislay in them as if you are eyeing a captivating creation of nature. Their eyes can be the mark of serenity and mist.

An individual who doesn't have the standard beauty or the ideal beauty yet still manages to outdo most by their identity and different aura is surely a person with Aquarius/ Uranus prominence.

Ever seen a woman with the appearance of a femme tale who doesn't have Scorpio/Pluto/Lilith prominent? Neither do I. These are some top placements for presumption if a woman is looking like a riddle and intimating while there are also some other placements for it too.

People you have just met but who just feel like home to you and easily became a comfort-giver for you are just some bunch of Cancerians and Moon-prominent people ( with good aspects and placements).

Everything is okay but Mars-prominent people and their muscles. The fire of Mars is just there to enhance their walking s*x allure. They are the most captivating and that redness in them stands for being hot af.

Ever seen a living example of a cottage core well if not yet just see a Taurus / Venus person. Even if they are not particularly interested in that aesthetic, they will surely nail it. Their beauty is natural and effortless, they can look like a character in fiction.

Aries moons are some of the boldest people I have met, or at least they come across that way from observation, the moon is comfort and Aries is all about diving in head first, so they actually find a comfort in spontaneity and action!

Honestly the connection between fire and water signs needs to be studied! They both find each other so tempting and it’s such a passionate and intense mix. As someone very water heavy in my chart I cant stay away from those fire heavy men

Mars in the second house indicates that you will enjoy keeping physically fit/ will find bodily aesthetics important. In traditional astrology the second house represents the physical body. This placement can especially indicate some sort of strength training. Looking at the sign it’s in can give you more of an indication of what sport or activity it is.

Chiron in the first house shows someone who has gone through a lot of personal healing and transformation in their life, they have had to deal with a great amount of pain. There are a lot of lessons in their life they learn through this. Often this person can also trigger healing in others around them too or helps heal people in some way, becoming a sort of teacher, specifically emotional wounds. These people possess a great deal of self awareness. This can take time to getting to this point, but developed people use this as a power for good.

Venus - Pluto aspects in a persons natal chart show they are attracted to intensity, They can feel as if they don’t want love if it isn’t mixed with a little obsession. These people are very protective and maybe a little controlling if not a developed version of this sign. Joe Goldberg energy Lol

These women do dating man that seems cool and amazing or even adorable person outside BUT UNFORTUNATELY it turns out that the man are the worst person ever. At worst case, the man's family dislike these women due to jealousy towards them. No matter how bad these women get treated by the man, the man's family will still defend the man and treated these women as if theyre the problem 💔

Also, these women can dealing with fucking crazy men that cannot accept being rejected by them atleast once in their life. Scary af
