Its 8:58 am i haven’t slept since yesterday.

Nothing makes sense, and all of my emotions are dull…

I feel them the way you hear under the water

Distant, confusing, incomplete.

I have this urge to take a needle and a thread of honey and sew them together

maybe the right words can create a patch of skin that i can place wherever it hurts the most?

Quarter to 10:00 am.

I’m having a cup of earl grey lavender tea with my mother.

I told her about how I think if I ever got married my partner will never have trouble with me

I like to think that I’m a peaceful creature. It’s me who’ll suffer; as all women do

I think I’ll suffer the most because i don’t really like to share

Not my time, nor my feelings

Let alone love.

Love…

I’m thinking about love again. A bit hypocritical of me since I always refuse to be in the same room as it.

And the door of my soul is always shut Against it.

Today,

Love taste like the sweetener that we use to replaces sugar, it’s perfect; until you start thinking about the after taste it leaves on your tongue.

A lie that makes all the other lies bearable. And so it does with our lifes.

Today,

Love feels like one fallen strap; ruin.

And until I repaint my thoughts about it, i fear I will never be accepted.

Al llegarle la noticia de la muerte de Vicente Aleixandre, y en el mismo mes de diciembre de 1984 en que murió, Hilde Domin escribió este poema dedicado a él, en el que aparece de nuevo el cedro del jardín de Velintonia, el árbol frondoso que les había cobijado en tantas tardes de charla.

Vicente y Antonio Larrea. Visualización Urbana en Chile durante la Unidad Popular

En 1961 ingresa a la Escuela de Artes Aplicadas de la Universidad de Chile, para estudiar decoración de interiores y dibujo publicitario. En 1963 inicia su trabajo gráfico en el Departamento de Extensión Cultural de la universidad, donde se dedica a la producción de material informativo para las escuelas de temporada. Tras cuatro años trabajando en dicho departamento, y ante la tal demanda del cartel en esos momentos, Larrea se instala con una pequeña oficina en la calle Huérfanos. Entre sus primeros trabajos reconocidos, sobresale la carátula del primer disco del grupo folcklórico Quilapayún.

Posteriormente se incorporó a esta oficina, Antonio Larrea, hermano menor, quien se desempeñaba como fotógrafo y estudiaba en Artes Aplicadas. En su gran mayoría, los encargos realizados por esta oficina, tuvieron por punto de partida el dibujo, por sobre la fotografía, la tipografía o el color; y por el mismo hecho que la visualidad desarrollada por esta oficina fuera "dibujable" o reproducible por el público, causó un gran impacto, exaltando la manualidad, todo ello en el contexto de la valoración del trabajo humano que Prometía el programa de la Unidad Popular.
