Skating headcannons

(for this post I am using my pronoun headcannons for the turtles. Leo, he/xe/they Donnie, it/they Mikey, she/he/they (changes) Raphael, she/he. If you do not agree with these put your own pronouns for them in replacement but please do not get mad at me or others for not agreeing. Have a lovely day ❤️)

This is to go off of what I said a few days ago. I feel like for some reason Rise Mikey and Leo can figure skate. Do I have a reason for this... yes. Please note that I myself am not a figure skater and so if I do say anything that is incorrect please tell me. I know enough about it to get by so I do apologize if anything is wrong.

For Mikey it has to do with the way she fights, he is always jumping but is quite graceful with their movements. I think she would be a great figure skater and would do some very nice axles.

For Leo it has to do more with his personality. We may be goofy and funny but they are also quiet calculating and also like to put of a show. With figure skating you have to be able to time everything right and calculate where you are going to land and also how much speed you are going to need to do an axle and other stuff. It is also an excuse to be flashing and have fun.

For Donnie I do not see it doing figure skating all of the time. Like sometimes, but only with their siblings if that makes sense. It is really good at skating, don't get me wrong, but I see them doing like a partner routine with like Leo if xe asked it. Other than that it never really peeked their interest.

For Raph I see her knowing how and being the best at it. I do not care about his real life size. I do not care that factually she could not because of a lot of different factors. Let the sweet child put on a custom made figure skating outfit and do his lovely routine and tell her that she is handsome and/or beautiful.

Also, I feel like they all like to put on and/or look at the pretty figure skating uniforms.

I stuck to the traditional Italian spellings. I have an Italian background and i studied it in school. Generally for those who don’t know “o” is masculine and “a” Is feminine hence Leonard(o) becomes Leonard(a). Raphael was a little bit harder because it ends in L so I just found the close thing to a feminine name. Same thing for Leo as with Donnie. Now with Mikey, my sister is named Michaela and my grandfather is named Michaelangelo and he was named after her but obviously coz she a girl and my family loves gender stereotypes she got the female version.

My mind is currently fixated on this one brief moment in a tmnt short. The short itself was not that great lol but this one moment will not leave me rn.

The shorts about Donnie making a device that projects human disguises onto them (so they can sneak into April's school and get pizza). But the important detail here is its supposed to project "how they really see themselves."

And when Raph first tries it out he becomes a prom queen until Donnie "fixes" it.

i liked mutant apocalypse actually

dont get me wrong it was rushed as hell, and the designs arent my absolute favourite, but it had so much potential (apart from donbot - donbot is perfect and i love him)

Mikey lived in near complete isolation for however many years with only two pets as company - is he sane? probably not.

Leo and Raph both have different bodies now - mutation bomb blast maybe the cause? do their weirdly mutated bodies hurt them? there is no advanced medical suff in the apocalypse - body horror and body dysmorphia potential
