Hello, I prepared some statistics to give you a short overview of Ghost's amazingly successful 2022. It is based on data I collected between 22/12/2021 and 22/12/2022.

The big Ghost event of 2022 was of course the release of the band's fifth album, IMPERA.

Since March 11, it has sold nearly 500,000 copies, won the American Music Award for Favorite Rock Album and received a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance ('Call Me Little Sunshine').

Within the first week of its release, the album reached #2 on the Billboard 200 (ranking the 200 most popular music albums and EPs in the United States) and ranked in the top 20 best-selling albums in 19 countries across the world:

#1 in Sweden, Austria, Germany, Finland, Spain

#2 in US, UK, Belgium, Norway, Netherlands

#3 in Australia, Canada

#5 in Switzerland, Ireland, France

#7 in Poland

#8 in Hungary

#12 in Denmark, Portugal

#20 in Italy

IMPERA is Ghost’s best charting album to date.

On YouTube, the band amassed a staggering 260 million views. 840,000 people subscribed to the channel this year, which makes up 42% of all current subscribers.

5 most watched videos on YouTube in 2022:

Mary On A Cross (Official Audio) – 32 million views

Call Me Little Sunshine (Official Music Video) – 15 million views

Square Hammer (Official Music Video) – 11 million views

Mary On A Cross (Live in Tampa 2022) – 8.2 million views

Spillways (Official Music Video) – 6.8 million views

On Spotify, the band amassed 1,285,625 new followers. That’s around 61% of all followers since the band appeared on the platform.

Square Hammer – 29,720,042 streams

Dance Macabre – 26,494,053 streams

It goes without saying that the viral success of Mary On A Cross on TikTok brought in a lot of new fans this year, but the magnitude of it becomes even more astonishing if you look at numbers.

On this graph, I marked a few events that resulted in a noticeable spike in the number of monthly listeners on Spotify, including the approximate time when MOAC began to gain traction on TikTok. As you can see, nothing, not even the release of a new album, gave the band as much attention as the 3-year old song suddenly raising in popularity on one single platform.

Between end of July and beginning of October, the number of monthly listeners on Spotify skyrocketed from 2.5 million to 12 million. This is a 380% increase.

Although the numbers have been in decline since then, it appears that for the past month they have stayed at a steady 9 million. As of today (Dec 22, 2022) the exact number is 9,110,996. Exactly a year ago (Dec 22, 2021) the number was 1,999,951. A hefty 355% increase in only a year.

Some other milestones and fun facts:

On June 7, Cirice, Dance Macabre, and Square Hammer were all certified Gold by the RIAA for sales of 500,000 units in the USA. Following the viral success, Mary On A Cross was also certified Gold on November 20.

The band's most liked post on Instagram this year was a video of Papa throwing the first pitch at the White Sox game (273,241 likes).

The episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live where Ghost performed Call Me Little Sunshine was watched by around 1.3 million people.

In September, Ghost reached over 12 million monthly listeners on Spotify and was the 450th most streamed artist globally - that's 450 out of over 11 million!

As of today with over 1.6 billion accumulated streams Ghost is one of the 1,000 most successful artists on the platform of all time (currently #808).

On September 11, Mary On A Cross peaked at #1 in the Viral Hits chart on Spotify in 54 countries across the world.

It was also the highest charting Swedish song on the platform in 2022, peaking globally at #31.

At this point I think it’s safe to declare that Ghost’s global success reached unprecedent heights this year and even allowed them to officially join the ranks of mainstream artists. With all of the above, 70 completed shows this year and many more to come in 2023, and with media of the likes of The Wall Street Journal proclaiming Ghost “the next generation of arena stars,” it looks like that the band is well on the way to become one of the biggest rock acts of this century. Not bad for a side project started by one Swede in his bedroom somewhere in Linköping.

Let us hope 2023 will be as devilishly good!

ISU released an article about Shoma

Two-time ISU World Champion and three-time Olympic medalist Shoma Uno of Japan has announced his retirement from competitive skating after a long and distinguished career and is ready to open a new chapter in his life.

“I have decided to retire from active competition,” Uno wrote on Instagram. “I am very grateful to have been able to continue skating for 21 years since I was 5 years old, and to have had a wonderful athletic life.”

The Japanese star will talk in more detail about his retirement and future plans in a press conference scheduled for May 14.

The 26-year-old looks back at a career with many highlights and also difficult times, but he always came back, proving his talent and showing resilience. When five-year-old Shoma went to the ice rink in his hometown of Nagoya with his father to have fun, he had no idea that he would become a World Champion, Olympic medalist and super star of the sport. He only knew that the enjoyed skating and kept coming back to the rink, taking lessons. He trained with Machiko Yamada, the coach of Japanese skating icon Midori Ito and also with Mihoko Higuchi for many years and worked his way up in the skating world.

Uno debuted in the ISU Junior Grand Prix in 2011 and was so tiny that he was unable to look over the boards. He won a few medals on the Junior circuit but his breakthrough came in what was his last Junior season in 2014/15 when he qualified for the first time for the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final where he claimed gold. Shoma went on to take the ISU World Junior title in 2015, in what was his fourth and final appearance at the event (climbing from 10th in 2012, 7th in 2013 and 5th in 2014).

Once at the senior level, Uno quickly became one of the top Skaters in the World. In his World debut in 2016 he placed 7th but then the next year won silver, his first of a total of four World medals. In his first Olympic Winter Games in 2018, Shoma skated off with the silver medal and returned on to the Olympic podium four years later, earning the bronze. In 2022 and 2023 Uno crowned himself ISU World Champion.

However, in between there was a time of struggle. In the 2019/20 season, for the first (and only) time in his career, Uno finished off the podium in the ISU Grand Prix Series. He had left his coaches since childhood and struggled with confidence.

“At first, to be honest, I was thinking about finishing my career,“ he said in an interview at Skate America 2021 about this time.

“I did not know how much longer I would keep going. But imaging the end (I thought) maybe I'll enjoy the rest of this career as an athlete.“

Uno started to work with two-time World Champion Stéphane Lambiel as his coach and choreographer in fall 2019 and soon came back strong. He grew as an athlete and a performer with beautiful programs that highlighted his versatility: “Turandot” (Free Skating 2017/18), “Great Spirit” (Short Program 2020/21), “Bolero” (Free Skating 2021/22) and “Spiegel im Spiegel” (Free Skating 2023/24) to name a few.

At the same time, the Japanese star always pushed the limits technically and made history by becoming the first Skater to perform a quadruple flip in competition in 2016.

“When I train and want to become better, it's not good for me to work on what I can already do. If I'm satisfied with just giving 80 per cent, I'm not good. The right training for me is to push my limits,” Uno said in an interview.

The Japanese Skater has an independent mind and a fun personality. He has a Youtube Channel where you can meet his three toy poodles Emma, Baron and Toro.

“When I am on the ice, I am totally focused on my sport, but when I'm off the ice, I am sure most people know I am just a lazy slacker, but I thought that would be a good way to show to the people how I am off the ice, but still this is Shoma Uno,” he explained.

When asked who inspires him the most, Shoma’s surprising answer was:

"Myself. Of course, I think I am inspired by many people and heard some good words from everyone, too, but in the end when you break it down, I do feel that it is myself that inspires me and sadly, I don't listen to anyone. Sometimes I listen, but mostly I go with my own mind,” he added.

For sure Uno will follow his own ideas in the years to come but you can certainly expect to see him gracing the ice in shows for a while.

The Show’s Premiere: April 3rd 2004

👻💚 Happy 20th Dannyversary to all the phans!! 💚👻

Between all the Danno chaos here on tumblr, we bring a very special post that covers in detail the very first time one of our ghost boy’s episodes got aired on television. This was such a precious find and we’re very excited to share it with you all!

Danny Phantom’s first episode “Mystery Meat” premiered April 3rd on the USA Nickelodeon channel at 9:30/8:30 central pm, right after the 2004 Kid’s Choice Awards. And before the episode aired, the channel featured a couple of DP trailers during the KCA’s commercials.

The first version was a quick 15-second trailer that got aired about halfway of the award ceremony, and then was shown again two more times.

Trust me

Chef Paik’s pizza was the sponsor for today’s show. I love Mr. Paik, I watch his Youtube channel sometimes.

But Tae and Jungkook did not partake of the pizza from today’s sponsor because they were both watching their calorie intake.

I am guessing the timing of the filming of this episode was mid-November because of Jin’s shirt and hair. Wootteo posted this pic of Jin on Instagram on November 15, 2022.

Tae told us he was watching what he was eating and rumors say Tae was in Mexico late November/early December working on something and JK was prepping for the November 20 World Cup Opening Ceremony in Qatar so both of them were on their best behavior EVEN WITH PIZZA RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF THEM! I don’t have that kind of willpower. From what I recall, neither does Jimin.

But JK, being the savage that he is, exacted some revenge on Tae when he held that piece of pizza under Tae’s nose while he had his eyes closed. We’ve heard the stories of Tae being even more savage toward Jungkook in the past when JK was trying to curb his eating and Tae would taunt him with food. VINDICATED! PAYBACK’S HELL! HAHAHAHAHA!

I screamed when JK called Jin a durian fruit. Spiky on the outside, soft on the inside and smells like garbage. Seriously. I don’t see how anyone eats that stuff. Nice, JK. HAHAHAHAHA! (omg I love watching them laugh!)

And all this time have I been “dead” wrong about Tae? Is he the real vampire? Is he dead inside? Because Tae’s ears were motionless the entire time during that segment. Was the forehead sensor not actually touching his skin? Ice in his veins?

The cherry to top it all off was when Jimin started “sad” dancing and JK’s body language gave him away. The lie detector fake cat ears they gave him away in the most hilarious way by perking up totally ERECT when he saw Jimin dancing. THAT. WAS. SOMETHING. I SCREAMED! AGAIN!

Yoongi’s ears perked up too HAHAHAHAHA! Oh my Yoonminkook preciousnesses. I love them.

Happy New Year to us! Part 2 next week? The real geniuses are the content team who do the research looking for ways to enrich our lives with Bangtan laughter.

He wasn’t supposed to end up like this. He was supposed to go to college, find a mate, and graduate with honours. Maybe he would have to apply right after graduation to some job offers but thankfully his father would intervene and would find him a job in no time at one of his friends’ companies. Then he would get married and be finally mated by his Alpha.

In this dream of his, Louis would end up with three beautiful pups, a huge house with a white fence and a wonderful mate always caring for him until his last breath.

That was how it was supposed to happen.

Louis’ curiosity and enthusiasm for plants came when his first tattoo appeared on his right arm. Louis remembered it like it was yesterday. He was fifteen at the time, and a flax flower appeared in the middle of his upper arm overnight. At the time Louis just yelled in excitement that a flower appeared on his arm, waking up his mum who came rushing in his bedroom.

“Boo, what’s wrong, love?”

“Mum! Look! I got a flower! It’s my soulmate, they must be, I don’t know, they must be-” Louis trailed off before being interrupted by his mother.

“They must be very kind.” His mother was examining his tattoo and smiled. “This is a flax flower, love, this flower represents kindness.”

In the cold, slow-moving early days of January 2023, something incredible happened, with

no warning. Sleep Token unleashed a new song upon the world that was, at the time, their

most jaw-dropping offering to date. Chokehold begins omniously with a scratching, grinding buzz and Vessel sings declaratively “When we were made, it was no accident, We were tangled up like branches in a flood”. The soft trill of a piano comes in, the suspense builds and then one of the most dramatic riffs the band have committed to record crashes down.It's just the first twist in a dynamic single full of them.

Chokehold struck a crowd with fans and landed Sleep Token cosigns from some unlikely voices. Lorna Shore, frontman and deathcore YouTube star Will Ramos covered the song and then dissected Vessel's vocal technique with a panel of experts. On the Charismatic Voice YouTube channel. Even Wilder was when American Idol star Chris Daughtry surprised a crowd at London's Royal Albert Hall with a dusky acoustic performance of the single. Yet the most remarkable thing about Chokehold is that, for all the fervor it steered, the song Sleep Token released just 24 hours later had even more profound impact on their career. On January 6th, the day after Chokehold's release, the band dropped a second 2023 single called The Summoning. If Chokehold started a fire, this new song poured kerosene on it. A near 7-minute masterpiece, The Summoning took Sleep Token genre blending approach to new extremes, spanning the divide between death metal-esque savagery and slutty funk. Not only did it work socially, but it somehow made beautiful sense conceptually. The song quickly went viral on TikTok, partly because of the stunning contrast between the styles it plays with and also due to its esoterically charged lyrics. Sleep Token had hinted at lustful thoughts in the past, but The Summoning was easily the most overtly sexual song to date. At this point, over half a decade into their career, Sleep Token were hardly unknowns, and the hype around them had been building in the underground alternative metal scene. But the one true punch of Chokehold into the Summoning sent them skyward.

Sleep Token dominated online conversation, trending on Twitter for days on end, and their streaming numbers shot through the roof. Multiple songs trended on Spotify simultaneously, but it was The Summoning that really took off, rocketing to 15 million plays on the platform in less than two months. As of this writing, it tops 18 million Spotify streams. On January 17th, Sleep Token embarked on a sold-out UK headlining tour, playing some of their biggest venues to date, including the 5,000 capacity Hammersmith Apollo in West London. Befitting the band's grounding audience and the launch of their latest chapter, these rituals were notably scaled up in terms of production. Sleep Token performed amid a stage setup, festooned with plants, and vessels started wearing an elaborate shoulder piece emblazoned with gold to protect him from sleep, for some fans have theorized.

Additionally, the trio of female backing singers from 2022's Room Below Ritual were along for the ride. The three women affectionately nicknamed the Vesselettes in some fan circles, performed in cloaks, their faces covered while they stood eerily stuck still. The tour was made even more special by Sleep Token, debuting two brand new songs during their set, the angsty pop metal exercise Granite and the elegant, chest-infused Aqua Regia. The studio versions were released in the middle of the tour, once again dropping within 24 hours of each other on January 18th and 19th. Respectfully, even before Sleep Token's third album was formally announced, fans understood that this sudden wave of new songs heralded an imminent follow-up to This Place Will Become Your Tomb. After the release of the apocalyptically heavy Vore in the middle of February. That speculation became fact, Take me Back to Eden, was announced for a mid-may release and was set to be the final installment of the band's album trilogy. The group's devotees had already been trying to figure out the record's title from the secret code that had appeared on the band's lead-up graphics. On Take Me Back to Eden, the turbulent hot and cold dynamic between Vessel and Sleep reaches its breaking point. His devotion to and lust for Sleep persists, but Vessel recognizes that he is quite literally in a Chokehold within their relationship, even more so than on the band's previous work. His emotions were conflicted enough on this record. On Granite, Vessel rages against Sleep's uncommunicative behavior, even labeling him aggressive and controlling, while on Aqua Regia, despite the song's undercurrent of desire, he affirms that he is done dancing to alarm bells.

By track 9, Do You Wish That You Loved Me he reaches the firm conclusion that not only is Sleep incapable of returning the love he has craved all along, but perhaps Vessel himself cannot muster the same devotion he seeks from the deity. I cannot hope to give you what I cannot give myself.

By the album's closing track, Euclid, the relationship has finally splintered,leaving Vessel feeling reflective but also anxious to move forward knowing that Ijust need to leave this part of me behind.

Once again, every song to Take Me Back to Eden comes with its own visual identity, but the symbology is Sleep token's most complex and detailed to date.

Each song is represented by its own fantastical character, best described as monsters or demons that are illustrated by Alex Tillbrook in the art booklet that comes with physical copies of the record. Some of the creatures appear in music videos' form as well. Each character looks distinct from the others, but they do share some common features. Many have devil-like horns, and the majority have an unusual number of body parts. The character representing Ascensionism has four arms. The one for Rain has three heads, and the creature for Chokehold has numerous arachnid-like legs.

Meanwhile, the character representing War has arms with two venues, flytrap-like mouths in place of hands, echoing the song's motif of consumption and swallowing, and linking to its title's reference to the fetish voraphilia, the erotic desire to consume or to be consumed by another person or creature. In addition, most of the characters hold at least one weapon, and many wear some form of armour. These accoutrements are possible, reflective of the heightened sense of conflict between Wesley and Sleep throughout the album.

The character representing the summoning, who wears a shoulder piece akin to the one

that Vessel wears on stage, clutches a huge gun, almost as big as the creature itself, while others wield axes and other bladed weapons. In two of its four hands, the floating character in a knight's helmet representing Ascensionism holds a handgun and a three-pronged dagger, like a mini version of Poseidon's trident. There are also a few references to weaponry in the lyrics in Chokehold. Wesley reclaims, I come as a blade, a sacred guardian. When in Aqua Regia,he speaks of a perfect start to a perfect war, putting down the roses, picking up the sword.

One compelling fan theory about these characters is that their sleep previous vessels. Others speculate that they could be a physical manifestation of Vessel's personal demons, or even past versions of Vessel himself. Indeed, there are references to the concept of past lives on the album. In Ascensionism, the line, tell me you met me in past lives,suggests Vessel's and Sleep's toxic bond predates this lifetime, or perhaps that's just what Sleep tells Vessel to create, the illusion that their connection is stronger than it really is. The Apparition reinforces the idea, well I believe somewhere in the past, something was between you and I in my dear. If Sleep and Vessel have been entangled for decades or even centuries across different incarnations, it raises the question of what the weapons are for.

Are they for Vessel to use while defending and protecting Sleep, or tools for him to battle the deity as the toxicity between them worsens? The two song-representing characters who've most intrigued fans correspond to the album's final two tracks, both are quite different compared to their armoured, multi-limbed peers. The figure for the pain-mouthed song Take Me Back to Eden, interestingly Sleep Token's only title track to date, has no face but bears angel wings and a scythe. Their juxtaposed element of an angel and a Grim Reaper evoke themes of death, worship,and immortality. All themes that crop up at the end of the album's story defend consensus as that title track concludes Take Me Back to Eden, while the album's actual closer Euclid wraps up the trilogy overall serving as a sort of epilogue. The character representing that song is a masked figure dressed in a toga-like garment holding Vessel's severed head. What does that ominous image mean about the future of Sleep Token? Some fear it's a signal at the end of the band, while others have wondered if it foreshadows the group re-emerging with a new story and a new look perhaps similar to the way Slipknot changed the mask with each album's cycle, or how Ghost kill-off versions of Papa Emeritus to make way for a successor. At the very least, the figure reflects the song's focus on rebirth throughout the death of the old Vessel proclaims I must be someone now. Musically Take Me Back to Eden is Sleep Token's most ambitious body of work to date.

Its sonic rage is considerably greater than This Place where we come here to folding in sounds and genres. The band hadn't touched before. The extremes are also so much more pronounced.

The summoning and Vore are the heaviest songs of their career so far, while a eerie, almost tropical-sounding deary statue of me is Sleep Token at their poppiest. Meanwhile, the colossal Are You Really Okay feels like Sleep Token's taken a arena-sized ballad, though its lyrics are claustrophobic, dark, and hint at self-harm. Since its corresponding character is holding a baby ( Since its corresponding character is holding a baby and the song mentions Vessel being woken up by a loved one dripping crimson on the carpet, some fans have posited that Are You Really Okay is not about self-harm at all, but rather a miscarriage). The most impressive musical feats on the record, however, are Sleep Token's two longest songs to date. The super-sized pair the 7-minute Ascensionism and 8-minute Plus Take Me Back to Eden unify every aspect of Sleep Token's sound, from delicate piano balladery to crushing heavy metal to bursts of trap-infused R&B (Both notably use autotune to add a disembodied quality to vessel's voice.)

Together, the two pieces feel like a culmination of the band's sonic explorations so far, elevating the music into the heady realm of progressive rock while floating with the long-form movement-based structures of classical music. Even as it marks an incredible step forward for the band, both creatively and commercially it landed at number 16 on the Billboard 200 Take Me Back to Eden and occasionally looks back. It's the most self-referential installment of Sleep Token's trilogy, especially towards its conclusion where the nods to previous songs become most overt in particular lines in the opening verse of Take Me Back to Eden.

I dream of phosphorescence, bleed through spaces, and we drive through crystal waters Perfect oceans can be interpreted with callbacks to sundowning in this place will become your tomb, read prospectively. Later, the titled rap evokes the LP's beginning by echoing the opening lines of Chokehold, creating poeticbookends to the album's narrative. Similarly, the entire trilogy concludes looping around to its start with a section of The Night Does Not Belong to God being revived in Euclid, bringing the story full circle. As for Sleep Token's own story, Euclid's image of a vesseldisembodied hit notwithstanding the band's journey continues. At least for now, Take Me Back to Eden has skyrocketed them to previously unimaginable heights. The latest, this anonymous masked band with their eccentric whip, lashing sound, and dizzying mythology have become bona fide arena headliners. They sold out a breakthrough-year-capping December gig at London's12,500-capacity Wembley Arena within just 10 minutes. We know Sleep Token's story will continue in 2024, too. They already have shows booked, including an April run in Australia, an appearance at Las Vegas' sick New World Festival. We want that. What does the future hold?

Might they scale even higher heights? To sleep, to dream.

The day was uneventful to say the least. Everything was in order -for once- and all she had to do was to sweep the main street of NRC. Despite that, she was restless. She knew today for the day of the first overblot, and she feared it like hell. Again, what do you say to a teenager who will face a near death experience ?

When it was lunch, she hugged the Child saying that it was for good luck for this afternoon. But the Child asked innocently “Why don’t you hug Ace instead ?”

The only answer was Victoria and Ace looking at each other in disgust. Ace spoke first “No thank you…”

The afternoon went on and Victoria was borderline having a panic attack. She tried to occupy her mind by making her first Giktok, showing multiple places of Ramshackle to do the ‘before-after’. She was going to profit from the place like she could. Her, being a capitalist ? Not at all. She was just… Far-sighted.

When the TV was delivered, she tried to set it up. From the anxiety, she couldn’t set it up on the first try -damn smartTVs- and she threw the user manual across the room multiple times.

Once she was a little more calm, the TV was set up correctly and she put it on a channel showing a F1 race. She always liked those, even if it was considered a ‘boy sport’. Liking cars doesn’t have a gender.

A few hours passed when the door opened. Victoria rushed to the door, finding Yuu completely disheveled and bruised. Victoria was shocked. Yuu was still smiling. “Hey Victoria, I’m sorry, I am a mess…”

Victoria grabbed the Child’s hand and got them inside the lobby on the couch.

She asked “What happened Baby ?”

Yuu opened their mouth but tears came out first. “I… Uh… Ace and I.. I’m sorry, the tears…”

Victoria sat next to them and hugged them. “No worries, cry all you want.”

Grim was the one who began their epic tale fighting against Riddle. The more Grim spoke, the more she was furious. Furious against Riddle was handled his emotions like sh*t. Furious against Riddle’s mom who couldn’t do a proper job at being a mom. Furious at Crowley for just doing a weird job. Furious against this twisted world. Where the hell was the ‘wonderland’ ?

Yuu spoke after. “I was so scared. *sniffle* Everything went south so fast, I couldn’t even process everything… *hic* I was *hiccup*.”

Victoria brushed their hair. “It was your fight or flight reflex, you chose to fight and that was very brave of you Honey. You did both a great job today. I am proud of you both.”

The Child wept for hours. They had changed position so now, Victoria was lying down on the couch, Yuu on top of her and Grim on top of them. Quite the sandwich.

The ghosts appeared and Victoria shushed them. “Time and place guys…”

But contrary to what she thought, they weren’t here to cause disturbance, they just floated to bring a duvet over them so they weren’t going to catch a cold.

Victoria patted both Grim and Yuu’s head, gently to not wake them up.She just stayed awake with her anger and hatred for the world. Thanks to the Great Seven she wasn’t a mage, she could have overblot.

The morning after, Yuu wasn’t feeling so well. It was normal after all they had been through. Victoria gently smiled, telling them to go shower before going back to bed.

They still waved Victoria good bye before she went to work. To which Victoria nearly smooched them loud on the cheek to thank them.

When everyone was in class, Victoria bolted into the headmaster office. “YOU !”

Crowley jumped. He didn’t know what was coming and yet he already hated every moment of it. “Yes ? I take it Yuu told you what happened with Roseheart.”

Victoria pointed a finger to his chest “How do you even DARE to be here like nothing when children could have DIED ! They are CHILDREN FOR GOD’S SAKE !!”

She punched him repeatedly in the chest -it didn’t hurt though-. “How could you let them do diversion when YOU are the ADULT ! They aren’t made to fight !”

Crowley gently grabbed Victoria’s hands. “I told them to go inside the mirror hall, they chose to stay and fight.”

Victoria tried to release herself. “They are YOUNG ! They are RECKLESS ! You should have FORCED THEM to go back ! THEY ARE TEENAGERS FOR F*CK’S SAKE!”

Crowley didn’t know what to say to that. He could have indeed, yet his duties were to put the most in a safe place before going back. He should have come back sooner. He should have helped.

And yet, here he was, with a hysterical woman yelling to him his four truths. That he was egoistical, that he was reckless, that he was just a coward who needed teenagers to get the job done, that he wasn’t cut to be called a headmaster…

Then he saw it. Ugly tears rolling on her cheeks. “I ! I ! I was so SCARED when they got back home ! HOW COULD LET THAT HAPPEN ??? YOU ARE THE HEADMASTER FOR F*CK’S SAKE! ACT LIKE IT !”

He hugged the woman. “I know… I should have handled the situation better. I’m sorry, Victoria.”

Victoria was too preoccupied ugly crying on his waist coat to notice that he used her first name.

After what seemed to be hours, Victoria had cried all the tears she had in stock. The raven took pity on her and gave her a tall glass of water.

Crowley asked. “Feeling better ?”

Victoria sniffed. “Yeah, thank you for letting me rant.”

Crowley arched an eyebrow. “It was more than a rant.”

The woman looked at him dead pan. He added. “Ok, I deserved it. I should have been more careful.”

Victoria drank a bit and finished the discussion by a “By the way, Yuu is not going to school for a few days to digest the shock. No is not an option.”

Iman Gadzhi | The High School Dropout Making Millions

Iman Gadzhi is a 22-year-old Russian entrepreneur who has taken the world of finance by storm. Sure!! Keep in mind, I don't tend to get into super-niche ones, since after watching them once I just cycle them into the sleep rotation, so it's pretty likely you've heard of most of these already.

Pathologic is Genius, And Here's Why - a classic and one of my favorites, partly because i just genuinely love pathologic, partially because i get infinite use out of ARTEMY BURAKH'S TORMENTOUS NIGHTMARE. hbomb has a lot of video essays that i like, so I won't link them all, but safe to say you'll get a lot of mileage out of his stuff (i tend to stick to the media ones though rather than political - i already know shitty people exist so they tend to just stress me out a lot lol)

iBinged iCarly (and the follow-up video, The End of iCarly, as well as The Failure of Victorious and its follow-up, The End of Victorious) - I grouped these together a) because they're by the same guy and b) they're pretty inter-connected, since the shows are by the same showrunner (you know, that one notorious creep who made his fetishes his child actors' problems, among other things). Might be worth checking out The Scandal of Sam and Cat by him as well? I can't actually remember if I've seen that one so I know what I'm doing tonight lol. Anyway you've probably heard of these if not watched them (ie the 8 hour long Victorious video essay). I linked to the videos in a playlist so you can also check out his other video essays if you're interested in them.

The World Record History of Super Mario Sunshine any%, The World Record History of Super Mario Sunshine 100% (120 Shines), and The World Record History of Super Mario Sunshine's Most Competitive Level - what it says on the tin, all by the same guy, but there are tons of speedrunning world history videos out there.

SummoningSalt also has a ton of speedrunning world history videos available and is largely responsible for the popularity of the genre.

The Speedrun Where Link Stares at Rupees for 17 Hours - low% is a pretty niche speedrunning category, and this is probably the goofiest example of it. I love it. A short, 15 min dive into it, which is very funny to me considering the actual run's length. I really love gymnast86's stuff - he's great at explaining stuff for a casual audience, which always makes him fun to watch during his gdq runs, but it also works very well for stuff like this. This video and The Glitch that allows Zelda Speedrunners to time travel - which goes more in-depth into one of the tricks used in the run - are both on LowestPercent's channel, but his actual channel is here - he might have a few similar things there as well? But it's mostly actual speedruns and randomizers.

Why Knights of the Old Republic 2 is Beautiful; An Analysed Playthrough - as the name suggests, this is half-playthrough, half-analysis, but I'm counting it anyway because It's My List And I Want To. SulMatul has a few more video essay-type vids on her channel as well, including Pathologic Analysis; Themes of a Dying Classic and Dissecting Pathologic 2; Why It's The Best Game of 2019 (THATS RIGHT IM BRINGING IT FULL CIRCLE BABEYYY THIS LIST IS A TRICK TO GET YOU INTERESTED IN PATHOLOGIC) and one on We Know The Devil which I haven't watched yet but I HAVE played the game and it's incredible, and knowing Hayley's work I'm sure the video is great as well. Huuuge huge fan of her content, and I think out of all of these she probably goes deepest into the subjects she discusses.

I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting off the top of my head, but hopefully that's a decent start for you, anon!

‘One minute bag’.

Hi guys, it’s been a cow of a few years here in the UK but we are back with a new Build along project. Again, the credit for the Pattern goes to Tony See at Diesel punk.Ro. The actual putting together is all li’l ole’ me. Let’s go.

The project this time is this Lovely Satchel ( for UK residents) or Messenger style bag ( for our friends around the World.) Known sarcastically as the ‘One minute Bag’. Enjoy.

Pic 1. As always I purchased a Pattern from Dieselpunk.ro, printed it all out to the correct scale, cut it all out and then stuck each piece onto the Veg Tan leather using decorators tape, as shown here, which leaves very little mark when taken off. I like to sharpen my blades for a few times so they last a bit longer.

Pic 2. Next I used a 1mm single punch to make all the holes shown on the pattern, ignore what the wire is for, it’s just the wire for taking the photo..only got two hands though. I’m not going to show me cutting and punching all the pieces as the proceedure is the same for every piece.

Pic 3 . Once the pieces are cut out I burnished the edges of them all using gum Tragacanth and the wood slicker.

Pic5. Pics 4 + 5. On some of the pattern pieces there are a few ‘markers’ left by the maker, be careful to look for them and to carry the marks over to the leather...or you will have difficulty lining things up later. Check ‘every’ piece just incase.

Pic 7. Pics 6 + 7 show the handle. This is very easy to make so I felt no need to show it in more detail, just stitch the relevant pieces together to achieve the handle shown here. Then, take the cut out section that has the corresponding holes for the handle and stitch it on. the larger section on the bottom of each end should be stitched first follwed after by the top piece, note how the bottom stitching is ‘underneath’ the top piece. The stitch used on this bag project was mostly the ‘locking saddle stitch’.

Take the ‘side / end ‘ pieces and skive around the edge to about half the thickness, because now we have to wet ( not soak ) the edges and using our fingers roughly bend up the edges as seen here and allow time to dry. then take the end piece ‘edge’ strip shown here and once ‘that’ is stitched so the ends meet making basically..a circle..for now, line up those markers I mentioned on both pieces and stitch all the way around.

Pic 9. Here are the finished end pieces, now they don’t look quite so rough. Again burnish any rough edges to make them smooth. Be careful to have them in the correct position BEFORE stitching because it sucks to have to unstitch and start again, Yup...I did that.

Take the pieces that will attach the D-ring and first stitch the thin section to the side piece as seen here..REMEMBER to put the D-ring over the thin end BEFORE stitching, again..it sucks to have to unstitch and start again. ( Yup..you guessed it, I did it again. That’s what tiredness does to you lol.)

Pic 12. Take the main body section and the flap with the handle section. On the main body, bend into position and do a few stitches just to hold the pieces together..see where I’m pointing. These will be cut off and disgarded once your ‘actual’ stitchline meets it.

Pic 13. You can see the main body here has the straps attached, they’re stitched to the main body prior to ‘bending’ into final shape as are the base strenghtener piece and any other pieces needed for it. You can’t really go wrong as Tony at Dieselpunk.Ro. ( Ro. Means Romania. )..also makes a build along Video to go with each pattern which can be located through his channel on Youtube. The main ‘Flap’ section is now attached to the main body..again using the good ol’ Locking saddle stitch.

Pic 14. Look closely you can see two sam brown buttons, ..I realised I had them on upside down here so I changed them around, they are used to help hold the additional inside section in place later.

Pic 15. Here’s the view of the bottom strengthener piece and showing the strap positions. If you punched all your holes correctly you will have no problem seeing where each piece should go, plus you can use the Dieselpunk.Ro video on Youtube and also my own build along Youtube video on my ‘Shamancraftprojects’ channel. Btw..as I’m here, If you like watching people just riding around on motorbikes and chatting about all kinds of things, ( no long boring talks about STATS I promise....I ride bikes, I don’t ‘Read’ them lol), I also have another Youtube channel called ‘Some Ol’ Dude’ where you can follow me as I ride around enjoying my 3 motorbikes. I hope you’ll drop by and have a look. It’s just as it says..Just ‘Some Ol’ Dude’ (Me..lol ) riding his bikes. Ok, back to the ‘One minute Bag’...btw, you are probably realising The sarcasm Tony used when naming this Bag by now hahahaha but it’s great fun to make.

Pic 17. Pics 16 + 17 show me attaching the side panels, I used my awls to hold it in place whilst I got some stitching started the other end is already attached as you can see.

Pic 18. I used some chrome leather which was medium soft to cut out the inside pockets and stitched them to the inside panel as seen. Using the locking saddle stitch still. note the larger holes at the corners where it will attache to the Sam Brown buttons to hold it in the bag.

Pic 19. Once the bag itself is finished, just sand the edges where needed to give a nice smooth finish, using sand paper or a sanding machine. Be careful if using a sanding machine as you can catch your fingers and also because it takes just a moments inattention to ruin the edges of your project. Here you can see me finishing the straps. Believe me, by the time you’ve built the bag, these straps will be a piece of cake, just remember to attach D-rings and buckles before stitching.....errm, yes, I did forget hahaha. Hey, we all make mistakes, what counts is how you react to it and how you correct it..right??.
