I had a dream (I don't usually dream but if I do they're usually nightmares—anyways) about Cassie running around a Spirit Halloween store being chased by the Mimic and also getting jump scared by other props/animatronics
currently thinking and obsessing about the fact that my dad very likely went to an Australian version of Chuck E. Cheese called Charlie Cheese back in the early-to-mid 80s when he was a kid and how fucking COOL that is!!!
the fact that were was a whole balcony stage show with a Warblettes animatronic, a Madame Oink AND a Dolli Dimples in my country is absolutely amazing to me and i'm having so many thoughts about it. where are they now? do they still exist? did they have other rotating guest characters or was it just Madame Oink? were there any differences to the showtapes (such as name changes or localisations)? there's also this incredibly rare and adorable Charlie plush and i love him SO MUCH i'm rotating him around in my head right now
i'm kinda surprised that CEC had locations here at all back in the 80s because animatronics aren't really a big thing in Australia, at least not as much as they are in America. we never really had that big animatronic pizza craze over here and animatronic shows are a pretty rare sight here apart from the occasional big amusement park chain (but even then, they're not very common at all). but yeah i think it's fucking awesome that my dad went here as a kid as he recalls quite a lot of details about the show and the animatronics up on stage!! he specifically remembers the Grundy's location, that there was "a giant rat" and the cheese wall maze underneath the animatronics and it's SO COOL to me as someone who has a love for these old retro pizza animatronics!!! no joke one of my biggest dreams is to just see either an 80s cec animatronic or a rockafire animatronic irl one day and the fact that my dad got to see a cec show is amazing!! :D
P.S. here's a video i found of the Charlie Cheese show at Grundy's performing!!! it's at the 38 second mark and there's footage of Dolli Dimples performing too!!
[Image Description: digital half body drawing of franziska von karma from ace attorney as foxy from five Nights at freddy's. she has her hands on a jack o'lantern and is smiling. she has small fangs and is wearing yellow contact lenses. she is wearing a red hairband with red fox ears attached to it, a black eyepatch, a red shirt with white collar and cuffs, and black gloves. the background is purple with stars and ghosts.
the second picture is of a pin and poster of the drawing as redbubble products. they are showed in a frame that resembles the structure of an instagram post with the user lifeonmvrs. it has a title reading "already available :3 [cat face emoticon]" and in smaller text one that reads "link in bio [heart emoticon]”. the third picture is the same but the products this time are a sticker and a tote bag. /end ID]
i have to hope i do not ever get super good as an artist and have enough ppl enjoy my work that someone asks me "what influenced ur art style?" because how tf do i tell them its (currently) mainly a mixture of like five artists and a couple old storybooks I loved and read repeatedly as a kid and then most notably some plushies I find unironically charming
one of the artists doesn't exist online anymore (idk what happened, they just disappeared one day), but the other ones are catmask, coyoteprince, tacodemuerte, and grendel-menz
book is Enid Blyton's The Magic Faraway Tree series:
and then these little freaks that I found on pinterest recently and absolutely adore (i am so sorry if you follow me on pinterest and have these fuckers show up on ur homefeed bc of me HSBDHDKSL)
I think the ending where Elizabeth is trapped in the other world could be a mix of both good and bad ending? Like she needs Michael's body to escape the other world since she doesn't have skin And is now tied to other Williams domain... She knows that what she's going to do is going to basically ruin Michael's life but she doesn't really have any other options
Also I just came up with the idea of the fun times being the twisted remnants of the other family! Like Other William has no more need to keep app the illusion now that Elizabeth is in his realm and just kind of stops caring about keeping the other family in good condition-
Probably once she got out in Michael's skin She kind of hang out in there until the 3 of them found a more permanent plan... Michael would probably be mad that his body is destroyed
Reading this ask made me suddenly imagine Liz posessing Mike; it gives Mike a bunch of trauma about not being in control of his body but at the same time he feels guilty because he knows there's no other way for Liz to return to the real world without it. So when Mike and Liz finally return to the real world and work through their issues, Mike and really really young Liz both have shared custody of Mike’s adult body. Sometimes Liz is in control, sometimes Mike is, and they try to share as equally as possible. Mike has gained control of his body to find ribbons in his hair many a times.
the Funtimes being remains of the other family is so clever, especially with all the parallels the Funtimes have to the Afton family already.
Once Liz has been captured and their purposes completed (assuming other Mike and Evan and Francine weren't reduced to dust or killed while trying to help Liz escape), the costumes they've been forced to wear melts into their bodies; their bodies become elongated and inhuman; their skin hardens, their teeth sharpen: their coloration fades away into Funtime-esque shades of white and cream and ash.
