List of The Weirdest Births in Mythology and Legend

In Mythology and Legend... We have readed and being surprised, by all the stories about The Gods and Goddesses; Monsters, Heroes and Heroines; including their loves, troubles; sufferings, and personal sacrifices. Now, as an homenage to all the lovely Pagan, Wiccan and Witch Mothers; outhere, (And, as an act of devotion to the Gods and Goddesses...); I made this post, which I hope than you like to read it: You will see names and stories than are already known, to all of us; and others, than aren't than known, but are included; because this list, is not as wide as it should be; for The Pagans, Wiccans and/or Witches Mothers, and for all the fans and knowables in Mythology and Legend!

(Note: This list, is incomplete; but, I will expand it regularlly; until is complete, so... You may need to check it once in a while; and... Don't despair: I'm planning to ended it, in a few months; Okay?... Thank you for your understanding!)

Have fun in reading this list, and... Be prepaper: I classified this stories, from the least to the most weird story of all, according to my own perception! (...You may be in, for one; or more surprises!)

Apollo and Artemis: Artemis (immediately, after been borned), helped to her mother; Leto, to birthed to her twin brother; Apollo, who was borned... Nine days, after her!

Heracles and Iphicles: Hercules, was supposes to born first; but Hera... (or, her daughter; Eileithyia, The Goddess of Childbirth) went to the house of Alcmene, sitted with crossed legs and with ropes over her dress; to avoid the birth... For seven days, Alcmene was struggling in pain, and close to death!Galantis, than was one of Alcmene's servants; tricked to Hera (or, to Eileithyia), to made her believe than the birth already occurred, which stop her to continue to crosses her legs; by the immpression. Heracles and Ificles, could finally born; but... Zeus promised to Hera, than the child of the House of Perseus than will born that day; will be king, and Hera; made than Hercules's Cousin, Euristeus; borne before than Hercacles, so that was why... Heracles, never was a king!

Athena: Was borne from Zeus's forefront, after her father swallowed to his wife; Metis (turned into a fly); to avoid the profecy than she will birth a son, than could dethroned him... Unknowning than Metis, was already pregnant!

Hephaistus: Hera, (jealous to see than Zeus birthed a child, on his own...) focus in do the same procedure; and gave birth to Hephaistus, who... Was borned limp, with an humpback and unactrative; which causes than his mother trowed him of Mount Olimpus, for having an ''Imperfect Child''. (For the ones, than doesn't know: He eventually backed to Mount Olimpus, as a grown man; get his revenge of his mother, and... Gained his place, between The Gods!)

Erichthonius: Hephaistus, made undesire advances to Athena; (when she went to his workshop for weapons) and, in the struggle; Hephaistus's seed, fell over Athena's thighs: She wiped out her thigh, with a piece of wool; trowed it to the earth all disgusted, and; where the stained piece of wool, fell... Erichthonius, was borned. (Gaia, gaved the baby to Athena; telling than she didn't want to raised him, so... Athena raised him, as her adoptive and only son!)

Kartikeya: Parvati, couldn't stand the weight of the baby, so... She transfered him from her body, so he could be birthed, by... Ganga! (The Goddess of The River Ganges: The most sacred of the rivers of India)

Huitzilopochtli: Coatlicue ended pregnant, when she grabbed feathers than felt from the sky; put them in her bosom, (some legends said than was in her waistband) and... PUM!... Pregnant! Her 400 sons, and her daughter; Coyolxauhqui (believing than the child to borne, was product of a relation with a stranger...) they decided to kill her, but in the moment they arrived... Huitzilopochtli, was birthed by Coatlicue; fully grown and armed, to defend to his mother. The rest of the story, well... Is too bloody and violent, to be wrote here!

Perseus: Perseus's Mother, after been bathed in a rain of gold; (Courtesy of Zeus) gave him birth in the tower, where her father put her... Without nobody's assistance, during the childbirth!

Asclepius: Coronis, beloved by Apollo; concieved to Asclepius... But cheated to Apollo with a mortal, while pregnant; and she was killed by Apollo (some versions, says than was Artemis), and Apollo; made the first C-Section in history on Coronis's dead body, to saves to his unborn child, before the fire will consummed her body!

Dionysus: His mother, died when she saw to her lover; Zeus, in his real form (after Hera tricked her in telling to Zeus to show his real self, as a probe of love to her; and to get rid easily of her rival); and Zeus had to rescue the baby from the body of his mother, and put it inside of his thigh: When the pregnancy was complete... Dionysus, was born, AGAIN! (...That gaves to ''Trauma by birth '', a whole new level!)

Garuda: He was born... Out from an egg?!

Phanes: According to the Orphic Mythology... He was the first Deity, created by Chronus (The Time); and he emerged with helmet, with broad and golden wings; from... An cosmic silver egg, entwined by a serpent?

Helen of Troy and her Siblings: She and her siblings, were birthed by her mother; Leda... Of one of the two eggs than she laid, after her encounter with Zeus!

Arcas: His mother, was Callisto; and he was borned, after his mother was turned into a bear. ( A bear... Giving birth... To a baby!)

Adonis: His mother, gave birth to him after she was turned; into... A tree?!

The Kauravas, and their sister; Duhsala: The mother, was pregnant for two years; and when she finally gave birth... It was a very big piece of lifeless meat. That piece of meat, was cut by a sage; into 101 pieces. The pieces, were kept in jars of oil for two years; and each piece... Grew into a child: The Kauravas, and their only sister!

Brahma: From the navel of Vishnu, emerged a Lotus Flower. And, when that same flower opened... Was Brahma, sitted on it! (...Strange, but... A very lovely myth!)

Virabhadra: Was born from Shiva's hair. (If you have seems Shiva's Images... I could believe that could have happen: He has a very abundant, and beautiful hair!)

Ganesh: Parvati, modeling a child from turmeric paste; and... She gave him life!

Sambha: Krishna's son, gave birth to an iron's mace, by the curse of a sage. (...Is one of the few stories than I put here, than makes 100% total senses...)

Jarasandha: Erhm... I only can say, than this story involve two queens eating the halve of a divine mango; and... It gets weirder and a bit disturbing, after that!

Tityos: Elara, was Tityos's mother; and she was hid by Zeus under the earth, to avoided her being the victim of Hera's wrath: The kid growed so big inside of her, than her womb split in two; killing her, and after nine months... He sprungs from the earth. (...Poor Elara!)

Pegasus and Chrysaor: Pegasus and Chrysaor: The Winged-Horse and his brother, couldn't born, because his mother; Medusa, was cursed to never be able to gave birth to her sons; and they finally came into existence, when Perseus killed to Medusa: There is not need, to put the graphic story, here! (...Poor Medusa!)

The Giants: They were borned after Uranus's Blood, fell on Gaia; (The Earth) causing than these very tall beings... Came into existence!

Aphrodite: She was created product of the foam of the sea, caused when Cronus castrated to his father; Uranus, and trowed his parts into the sea.

Heimdall: He was birthed, no from one mother; no... He was birthed, by nine Jotun sisters; which conceived him, with Odin!

Loki: The story about Loki's Birth, says that Farbauti (Loki's Father); hitted to his wife, Laufey (Loki's Mother); with a lightning bolt, and; a time later... She gave birth, to Loki!

Teshub, Tigris and Tasmisu: They were birthed by a male god, after he fighted against another male deity; and... He ended pregnant in a very inusual, and bloody way! (If you want to search that story... Go to the Hittite Mythology, search the names in this paragraph; and readed during daylight, many hours before to going to sleep; 'cause is a very disturbing story: You can thank me later, than I don't describe it; here!)

Fenrir, Jorgmugand and Hel: An story says, than Loki gave birth to these children (I refuse, to call them monsters: Thank you, very much); after he devoured Angrboda's Heart, when she was burned while she was already pregnant, so... That was why they were born! In other stories, they were birthed by Angrboda herself, but in almost all the stories; they were borne in the form known to all of us: Fenrir, as a wolf; Jorgmugand, as a serpent; and Hel, as an half alive-half dead baby girl!

Quetzalcoatl: Three myths, points than he was birthed by a virgin princess: In one myth, after his mother had a dream with the Supreme Deity; Ometeotl, in other myth; his mother ended pregnant, after she swallowed a jade stone, and... In another myth, the same princess gave birth to Quetzalcoatl; after she had her belly pierced ... With an arrow! (AND... There is a myth, where he was miraculous conceived by Coatlicue; after a ball of feathears, fell over her!)

Gaia: She was birthed (presumably, and now; totally accepted), by Chaos: A great formless and empty abyss, made of infinite space!

Uranus, Pontus and The Ourea: Were birthed by Gaia, which conceived them... Without a father: This unusual birth, is call Parthenogenesis (a pregnancy and birth than ocurrs, without intimacy: A virginal birth, than is a very uncommon way to have descendents!)

Atabey: According to Taino Myth, Atabey; who is the Primordial Goddess of Fertility, and The First Being to came into existence; she birthed to... Well... To herself!

And, (For ending this list...) Guabancex and her Siblings: Atabey, one day in the middle of the emptiness and totally alone; she fell deeply asleep (after an uncountable amount of time), and a time later; she waked up, to found out, than... She was PREGNANT! And... She gave birth to six twin babies, without a father, and of diferent sex: Boinayel (God of the Rainy Weather), Marohu (God of the Dry Weather); Itiba Cahibaba (Goddess of Childbirth), Hurakan (God of The Destructive Winds and Enemy of Yocahu), Yocahu (God of Vegetation and of the Cassava's Bread) and... Guabancex (His sister, Goddess of the Wind; of The Rain, of The Breeze and The Hurricane). A virginal birth... Of multiple babies, of different sexes; and twins! (...This myth, gives to the phrase ''Being extremelly fertile''; to AN ENTIRE WHOLE NEW LEVEL!)

This is all, in this list; and... Congrats to all the Mothers of the Pagan, Wiccan and Witch Communities! (AND... Of course: To all the Mother Goddesses around The World, specially to Ma'at, Athena; Aphrodite, Atabey, Guabancex, and... To Gaia!)

Chapter 31: Tasks of the Ship

The Walrus captain let out a sigh as he leaned back in his chair, listening to the seal speaking behind him. Something about horses and fish, he didn't know what exactly at that moment. He just had to focus and make sure the ship didn't end up crashing again now that the alien girl was on it. He still found it weird how it only happened during the period she was on this planet... but then again, a lot of weird things happened around that time.

Her and the members of that group she was a part of seemed happy, at least. Why they were willingly outhere when they should be working on a way home? He didn't know and he didn't bother to ask. He was a little surprised to learn that they were technically different species then her. They all looked somewhat similar, and they all had hats on... Perhaps that was a bit rude to assume things. But he didn't know much about the species to begin with.

He always knew aliens and stuff could exist after all. It still just felt a little odd to know some. Only a little bit of thought. He left out a puff from his cigarette and glanced at the corner of the screen, where a small pop-up with three question marks had appeared. He glanced back at the wall of TVs to the back of his right and simply shook his head. When he turned back, the popup had disappeared. However, soon a small bit of the camera feed did.

It showed the little alien herself, along with that metal-coated brother of hers. He kept getting these and he had an idea why, although he did wish they would stop so he could fully focus on his work, and eating the occasional bowl of ramen. However, he saw the two seemed to be bickering on the camera for a moment. After Hat Girl tilted her head with a smile, her brother nodded and the two raced off in the same direction quickly.

The Captain tilted his head slightly as he glanced back at the wall of TVs in questioning. "They're coming here, going to hop in the system fully for a moment." Was the response, before the faint static sound faded. The captain just took a small sigh, he should have expected this. He heard one of the doors slam open, and a slight crash on the ground followed. He turned his chair around, faintly able to see the two picking themselves up from the ground.

"Whoops." Hat Girl said, giving a chuckle as Platinum rolled his eyes. She glanced at the screens nearby and paused. There were a lot more of them then on the old ship, which she supposed was good. But something just felt a little off about them. She shook her head though with a smile, and got up, quickly racing up the stairs too where the captain was. "Reporting for duty sir!" She said, giving a salute with a smile.

"Pup, what are you doing here?" The Captain asked, tilting his head as the robotic brother raced up the stairs behind her. She gave a simple chuckle as she met his gaze, and Platinum looked at her with daggers in his eyes. The Captain waited another moment for an answer, and sighed when it became clear he wasn't getting a clear one that easily. "Is your brother ok there? Didn't lose a bolt or something?"

"Does it look like I have bolts?" Platinum asked, glancing at his sister who just gave a shrug with a slight chuckle. "That doesn't sound like a yes or a no Hattie. Hattie, answer me." Platinum said, making her just chuckle a bit as he stood there in confusion and a bit of worry. He turned to the captain who simply glanced at him just as confused. He sighed. "Anyway, you can go ahead and tell him sis."

"Throwing in the towel already, brother? Well, not literally." Hat Girl said, sticking out her tongue a bit as Platinum rolled his eyes at that comment. She then turned to the captain, who was starting to get slightly annoyed. "Remember when I had to help out too get my timepiece from the lost and found?" She asked, getting a nod. "I was telling Platinum about it. And about how I was a master of handling all those tasks quickly. A hundred tasks never stopped me.. or was it seventy?"

"It was about 20, Pup." The Captain said, the girl giving a confused look before nodding. He must be right, she reasoned. How could she do that many tasks so fast? "Let me guess, you two want to do some more for, some reason?"

"She's acting like she can do it better then me." Platinum said, crossing his arms as he chuckle, shaking his head to the side slightly. Hat Girl gave a confident smirk as the captain sighed. Of course they would get into a competition like this, what else did he expect from them? Well, at least from the pup. "But I cannot get physically tired. I can race around without my legs hurting, clearly I'll win this little coppetion."

"Oh please Platy, you'll get lost 6 minutes in and be utterly hopeless for the rest of the day." Hat Girl said, placing a hand to her chest as she gave a smile. The Captain sighed, he really didn't want to be in the middle of whatever was going on between them, but it seemed he had no real choice. Were they always this competitive? "I know the old ship like the back of my hand. And this place? Just like it, but, bigger."

"It wouwd be nice to have some mowe hewp." One of the seals at the Captain's side said, turning over to face the group. Platinum could barely contain the 'aww' that escaped his mouth. "I think it's a gweat idea captain! What do u think?"

"Well, the pup was surprisingly good last time..." The captain said, leaning back in his chair for a moment too think. He supposed the extra help for the day would be nice, as long as he wasn't going to get a mess they couldn't fix later. He glanced at the two, eagerly waiting for his permission, before sighing a bit. "Alright, fine. You can do it. You two can start by taking some of these ramen cups down to trash."

"Race you!" Hat Girl said, quickly sliding over and grabbing most of the cups before Platinum even had the chance to move. She stuck out her tongue a bit before she went racing down to the entrance to the dining area below. Platinum gave a glare as he quickly stumbled to get the last few cups and went after his sisters. The Captain let out a sigh as he watched, getting out of his seat and slowly heading down the stairs.

"Those two better not get themselves killed now." The Captain sighed as he went in front of the screen, glancing for a moment at the few that showed camera footage. One of the screens switched to the kitchen, where Hat Girl threw her cups in with a smile as Platinum followed after. After a moment the captain paused and glanced at the screen. "Why don't you just go talk to her?"

The camera on that screen turned off. "What?"

"I know you've been watching her, something about the visions of the fire and second coming and all that." The captain said, pulling the cigarette out of his mouth as he rose a brow. "It's a little creepy, and it's not like she won't like you."

"I... You think it would go well if we met?"

The Captain just gave a shrug. "It couldn't have gone worse than when we both first met, Hydartic."

The Conductor's grandchildren had varying options on varying things about going on the cruise. All of them were at least a little spooked by the idea at first. While they themselves didn't remember it, they knew how a past cruise almost took their lives when it crashed. And while their mother almost didn’t let them come after the fear of it happening again rose in her, she ultimately let them go after they begged her after hearing Hat Girl would be there.

They hadn't gotten to spend too much time with her, or her brother, but they were still enjoying the place. All had various things they could do. Georgie and Crow usually stayed in the hotel or lobby area to work on their writing. Raven was always by the railings, trying to catch that icy chill. Storm had secretly broken into the Captain's room without getting caught at least once. So all in all, a fun time for them.

Some of them were in the dining area at the moment, trying to get something to eat after feeling hungry. They were distracted however by a whoosh of air running past, seeing platinum race to a nearby empty table.

"She can't get these if I get them first!" Platinum said, quickly garbing the plates and stacking them up in his hands, them all wobbling slightly. Mary gave the others at the table a confused look and, with a nod, they all went over to see what Platinum was doing. He turned around, and it almost looked like he had a crazy look to his eyes. "Oh, hey, puzzle gang!" Platinum said as he gave a smile. "Been awhile, how have things been."

"Same old, same old really. Just... are you ok?" Georgie asked as Platinum gave a nod, quickly racing off into the kitchen as the group followed, a little concern for him. Platinum easily hopped the counter, Storm catching one of the dishes that fell off his pile as the group began to climb over it. The seal by the kitchen did nothing to stop them. "Did someone hack into your systems to make you clean the place or something?"

"No, me and Hattie just have a competition on who can do the most tasks, and I intend on winning." Platinum said, racing around the corner to head to the laundry room below. He seemed to pause and think, allowing him to catch a breath he didn't need. He turned to the group of birds and gave a smile. "Hey, wanna help me raise my numbers a bit? We still need to get her back for the puzzle."

"I've always wanted to work on a ship, let's go!" Strom said, racing down past Platinum as the teen gave a smile. Perfect, this was just what he needed to get him back into the definitive winning spot he needed to be. He raced down the stairs with the other three, and got to work, picking up towels quickly as the others did other tasks. "You think the Walrus Captain will let me have this ship when I'm an adult, guys?"

"I mean, maybe!" Rosetta said with a smile as she began to climb up to get the soap. Platinum tossed the towels into the nearest washing machine and went to help her. He didn't want anyone getting hurt after all. He wasn't even sure how the seals got up here to do their work, but he wasn't going to question it. "Got it!" Rosetta said as they got to the top, her grabbing the ball-like bottle of pink soup.

"Nice one!" Platinum called, placing her on his shoulder quickly as he slid down. Faster and safer for her. As she ran too where the soap needed to go, Platinum looked and saw Mary backing up from one of the washing machines, which looked like it was... shaking? "Mary, are you ok? You might want to get away from that one."

"I don't know what happened, I-I just put something in and-" She let out a shout as part of the machine broke off and flung in her direction, but Platinum quickly grabbed it and placed it back on the machine. He quickly reached behind it and unplug it, but it must of hand some sort of backup power on because it kept going. "S-Someone grabbed a tool box!" Mary called, Strom dropping what he had and racing back up the stairs.

"You all stay back and get the other stuff done!" Platinum called, slamming the door to the machine closed when it sprung open, getting water all over the floor. He almost slipped on it, but managed to stay standing and then climb up on top of the machine to slam the top of it a few times, letting out a growl. "Come on, I know how these things work. You slam a device until it starts working again! So work!"

"I got it!" Storm said, racing back down and swinging the tool box over to Platinum. The tool box flew through the air, and almost hit Platinum in the head, but it just barely missed him. Storm covered his beak as he took a step back. "Uh, sorry Platinum! Didn't know I had that kind of strength in me"

"It's ok!" Platinum said, garbing the tool box and diving head first into the machine after opening it once again. Georgie quickly got some towels and brought them by Platinum's feet as he struggled, making some coughing like sounds. However, after a minute or two, the machine finally slowed to a stop, Platinum shaking his head as he pulled his head out. "Well... It's a good thing I'm waterproof!... When did I learn to repair stuff?"

"You doing the repairs now too?" Hat Girl's voice suddenly called. Platinum turned to the side to see her popping her head out of the vent nearby, holding a few dishes. She took a moment to observe the small mess that had formed in the room, and it didn't take long for her to guess. She shook her head as she looked at him. "This competition is just between me and you Platy, don't get Conductor's grandkids involved!"

"You're using the super speed or whatever bow, I have to catch up somehow!" Platinum said, looking at her and crossing his arms as she stuck her tongue out at him. He then let out a sigh. "I didn't even get to count the points, so I basically have none for the past like, three minutes."

"That's just what happens sometimes. Oh, are those for me?" Hat Girl asked, and quickly raced too the towels on the floor. The sprint bow making her able to get them before Platinum had time to fully process what she meant. She quickly brought them over to another washing machine and placed them in, then quickly grabbed the tool box. "Good luck Platy!" She said with a chuckle as she raced off before he had a chance to say anything.

“I'm sorry Platinum, I-I shouldn't have touched that washing machine." Mary said, looking down at the ground as she messed with her fingers... or talons. Platinum really didn't know what they were called. Rosetta quickly patted her on the back, saying it was alright as Mary took another breath and glanced at Platinum. "I-I can try to make it up to you later, I promise! Just tell me what you want! I can go and grab it-"

"Mary, please, I'll be fine." Platinum said, standing up as he gave a smile to the birds. "You all just run around and have fun. I'll try to meet up with you after my glorious victory." He said, putting a hand to his chest. The birds gave a nod and began to leave, Platinum waving as Mary looked back. He turned back to the machine as he knocked some water out of his head. "What happened to you?"

Hat Girl burst through the door that connected the hotel area to the pool area, quickly racing around to grab any plates with empty bottles she saw. She was trying to stay fast, as she had gotten distracted a moment before. She ran into Snatcher while in the gambling area, and quickly explained what she was doing. He had this... weird look on his face for a moment, almost like guilt. But he denied it and she didn't have time to think about pushing him.

Nor had time to think about the cameras glancing at her. Sure it was probably just the system doing its usual business, but she could have sworn they had their gaze on her a lot of the time. She even thought she caught one quickly looking away once she turned quickly to look at it. She was starting to see why her Papa seemed untrusting of the cameras, but there couldn't be anyone out to hurt them on the ship. It was ran by the seals after all!

With a nod of that reassuring thought in mind, she went to do a few other tasks while still balancing the plates and cups in one hand. It was getting a little wobbly, but she had a lot more counterbalance now then she did as a kid. At least, she thinks that's the correct way of explaining it. She couldn't know for sure.

"Thank u fow the hewp, miss!" One of the seals said as she quickly helped them clean a smudge on the window of the daycare area. Hat Girl gave a smile and nod, and then decided it was time to get rid of these glasses. She hopped down to the bar, and suddenly it felt like the mood in the air changed. At first she thought it was simply because Mr. Macbeth was at the bar, but he was, surprisingly, not drinking anything.

"Easy Fredrick, you just got a little drunk." Macbeth had said, and that was when she noticed Fredrick and her Papa at the bar as well. Right Hand Man looked a little annoyed but was clearly a little worried about something, and Fredrick was just there. He looked like he had cried a bit, maybe he still was? He was drinking some water and rubbing his head. "This is why you test your levels before deciding to stop by."

"What's going on, did something happen?" Hat Girl asked as she came over, placing the glasses down for the seals to take too clean. With nothing else currently in hand she sat down next to Right Hand Man, the girl's father eyeing her a moment before turning back to Fredrick. "I never seen you like this before, Fredrick. What happened?"

"I'm an idiot, that's what happened!" Fredrick said, holding back another hiccup and Macbeth shushed him. Alexsandera peeked out from behind Macbeth's back and Fredrick let out a sigh, burying his head on the counter for a moment. Hat Girl was frozen in a way for a moment. She was sure she never saw Fredrick like this. He sometimes got annoyed, but he never was this sad. "Sorry. That was uncalled for. He just.. I just..."

"'e started ta get drunk w'ile Burt was near t'e pool." Right Hand Man began to explain as Fredrick took another drink of water. Hat Girl gave a confused nod as she glanced around. She didn't really see how those two events were connected, and she didn't see Burt now. She also didn't know why Fredrick would have started drinking. "'e 'nd Burt started to get into one of th'eir fig'ts about Burt's lack of self w'otever and-'

"I flat out said 'You know I love you right'!" Fredrick said, face palming himself as he let out a sob, Macbeth awkwardly patting his back as the man tried to calm himself down. "Just like that in the open. And Burt he... Well, he just left."

"You have a crush on Burt?! ...Wait, that actually explains a lot." Hat Girl said, nodding to herself as Right Hand Man let out a small chuckle. She recalled the first day they crashed here, in the morning before things went wrong. When Burt took that food from Fredrick's face, she now recalled a blush. It was so clear. "I mean, Maybe Burt was just shocked? You know he doesn't really do well with showing any emotions?"

"I mean, I can't judge. But if I was him and I didn't like you at all, I would have stop putting up with you a long time ago." Macbeth awkwardly said.

"Macbeth, ya never 'ad a crus' on anyone a day in yer life." Right Hand Man said, Macbeth giving a small nod in acknowledgement. Hat Girl let out a quiet chuckle at that before turning her attention back to Fredrick. He seemed so sad and worried, like he messed up big time. Right Hand Man sighed as he tapped his hand against the table. "Worst case scenario, ya can pretend it was just t'e alcohol in yer brain makin' ya feel t'at way."

"I don't want to lie to him though, he can see right through me." Fredrick said, turning to the cyborg with a slight glare. Right Hand Man sighed and gave a nod. Burt wasn't the best at emotions, at all. Yet now and again if you tried to lie to him he would know without anything throwing him off, or should have. "I know he doesn't like me back, I get it. I just... still want to be friends with him at least."

"Then try explaining that, it should work- Work!" Hat Girl slammed her hand on the counter. "Platinum's probably beating me right now." She stood up as she got some confused looks. "Sorry guys, but I need to go. Hope you feel better soon, Frederick!"

"W'ot are ya-" Right Hand Man asked, before Hat Girl raced off quickly, somehow climbing up the nearby wall too the area above in what seemed to be a few seconds. Right Hand Man turned to the others and shook his head a bit, sighing as he grabbed a cup from the bar and drank it. He then turned back too Fredrick. "Sorry ‘bout 'er. Guess she and ‘er brot'er got into one of t'eir competitions and she's dead set on winnin'."

"It's ok, I should be apologizing to you both. You should be doing your own things, not taking my ranting." Fredrick sighed, sitting up from the bar set with a slight wobble to his step. Macbeth got up and placed a hand on his shoulder, more to help him balance than anything else. Fredrick sighed as he glanced at the ground. "I'm going to head back too my room to recover from the hangover, then see if I can try and find Burt."

"Do you need help?" Macbeth asked, looking up as Alexsandera flew back up into his hat as there was the sound of cups falling from the bar. Fredrick started to shake his head but Macbeth just crossed his arms. "It's only going to take a minute, and out of everyone, I have all the time in the world.'"

"...Alright, fine. We’ll probably fall off the boat knowing me" Fredrick sighed.

Right Hand man watched them walk away for a moment, then let out a sigh. He saw Hat Girl race in the area above again. And this time, he knew for a fact the camera on the wall followed her.

Everything had become a blur to Platinum for the last bit, simply trying to get as many tasks done to make up for the washing room. He knew he really should let the captain know about that, but he could wait till the end when he and his sister met up in the Captain's room. Where Platinum would proudly brag about winning, at least he hoped. It was only a matter of time now, he thought as he kept on going, garbing almost anything in sight.

He was a bit more wobbly then his sister, despite his feet being actually metal and therefore should be more study. But he found himself nearly tripping over time and time again, and it frustrated him. Normally he wouldn't mind being a little clumsy, but his victory was on the line here! He had to win and show Hattie once and for all that he could do this! and do it better then her! probably only a bit better, but still better.

He did eventually start to slow down, however. He felt like he needed to catch his breath, which he didn't need being a robot. But he could feel his metal start to heat up from the speed from the inside, and he knew that wasn't good. Especially when combined with the cold outside air around him right now.

"Ok, just go ahead and chill a bit Platinum. You just got a lot of stuff done anyway." Platinum told himself as he grabbed a large battery from the cabinet nearby. He took a glance at his map he got from a seal, and saw it needed to go to the room a bit down from here. So he began to hop down, being careful not to get too close to the edge. "Alright, here it is." He said as he opened the door. "Now where do these-AHHH"

"Oh, what's up, did I shock you?" A voice rang out from nearby, but Platinum didn't really take much note of it. Those electrical delmons, there they were, right in front of him. They were contain in some metal things, but there they were. He eventually garbed the batteries and stuck to the wall, looking over to see some squid pulling something up and down. "I know, it's dangerous here. Not as much as before, however."

"I-I, are you?" Platinum said, his voice shaky as he approached. Just dropped the batteries off and go, he told himself. But stopped when he noticed someone near the railing, staring down. "Burt. A-Are you supposed to be in here right now?"

"You're in here, aren't you?" Burt asked, turning to him. His voice seemed odd, it seemed a little more colder than Platinum was used too. Or at least, that was how he would describe it. Did something happen? He shook his head and glanced to the side, looking up at the nearby squid. He gestured to it while looking at Platinum. "This is Watt. He helps get power going through the ship. But no one really cares for him too much."

"Let me guess, like you?" Platinum asked, Burt giving a nod and Platinum glanced at the squid. One hand, he was terrified by the idea this could easily control the electricity and possibly from more of those demons. On the other hand, he was more worried about Burt too feeling as much fear as he did a moment ago. He glanced at Burt. "Ok, for real, what happened. I can tell something is off, really, I can. You can tell me."

"His friend that he had a crush on admitted that he liked him." Watt said from above, to which Burt glared with betrayal in his eyes. The squid shrugged with two of his arms. "Watt? Someone had too tell him now."

"If only Fredrick hadn't somehow broken into my heart this wouldn't be an issue." Burt mumbled, a small blush forming on his cheek. Platinum was just standing there, in slight surprise. Fredrick and Burt both likeing each other? That wasn't something he saw coming... although with how often they hung out he should have. "He got drunk and admitted he loved me. And I could tell he was being honest. I... didn't know how to react so I just left... like a jerk."

"I mean, you're kinda right." Platinum said, walking over too Burt who gave a slight glare at the statement. The man sat down on the ground after a moment, and Platinum joined him after finally getting the batteries to the spot they belong. Platinum tapped his hand against the floor for a moment, trying to think of what to say. "Why don't you go and say sorry for just leaving, then you can start dating?"

"He doesn't think Fredrick deserves him." Watt said, Burt rolling his eyes but gave a nod at the statement the squid made. "What, you're in my room. I'm allowed in the conversation." The squid said. It got quiet for a moment. "So, what are you both saying now? I'm just.. here."

"Look, you see how often Fredrick comes to you, and I see a lot of romance stuff." Platinum said, standing up and looking at Burt, who just rolled his eyes at the statement. For once Platinum thought he got a glimpse of his hidden eye, but he shrugged off because he didn't have time to worry about that. "Clearly he wants to be with you, and you wanna be with him. You two can work things out. You just need to talk."

"You're a robotic teen Platinum, I'm not sure you know good romantic advice for adults like me." Burt said as he stood up, knocking his hair to the side to fully cover his eye again as he glanced over the railing, watching as the electricity almost seemed to dance in the air. He let out a sigh and then suddenly smirked. "Besides, if you believe your own words, tell me. Hows your relationship with Van going then?"

"W-What, how did you find out!?" Platinum asked, looking around frantically as Burt let out a simple chuckle. Did Dad go telling the entire clan about it behind his back? Did Van know? "A-And that's different, I need to go now!"

"You want to talk about my lack of love life and not yours?" Burt said as he saw the robot raced out the door quickly, almost falling as he got the door open. Burt let out a small chuckle, before letting out a sigh as he glanced back at the electrical railing. A small shock might knock the member out of his mind.. but it could almost do so much worse. "Why couldn't I just never find love and never have to worry about things like this."

"I mean, you told me you knew life doesn't always go how one wants." Watt said, Burt turning over and giving a small nod of acknowledgement. He did say that, didn't he. He learnt that the day his life was ruined for good... but perhaps saved at the same time. He reached for the air in front of his eyes, pulling it down a bit more. "Personally I don't think everyone gets a happy ending. But that doesn't mean life will not offer one too you."

"So what do you think I should do then? Wait for him to get over his hangover and talk it out?" Burt asked, pulling his phone out of his pocket and glancing at it. He paused a bit as he glanced at the photos of Fredrick he had on there. He didn't even remember taking a lot of these, at least consciously. "See if we can at least be friends. Maybe then, something more?"

"I suppose that's a current option." Watt said, letting out a chuckle.

The sky started to take on an orange shade as the day slowly shifted into evening. Many guests on the cruise had begun to head to either their hotel rooms or other simple areas to rest off whatever they did that day. Hat Girl was still going strong, at least as strong as she could. Besides her break where she learnt about Fredrick's situation, she only paused to grab herself something to eat. Besides that, her time was focus on winning.

Although she was, admittedly, starting to slow down a bit more as she climbed down from the hotel area to head to the lobby for a few last tasks. She knew her and Platinum had tasks they probably lost count off, so she wanted to make sure she had the highest number no matter what. She looked around for a moment as she climbed down into the lobby. Why did the seats nearby suddenly look so appealing to her right now? She had to focus.

She just got to work, cleaning things in one corner and moving something from one spot to another. There was the occasional task that took her out of the lobby, or a lack of task that made her go to a room nearby, but even as things became a blur, she was focused. Counting up all the points in her head as she glanced around the lobby area as she entered again.

"Just a couple more than you beat him." Hat Girl told herself before racing around the room, doing any little thing that seemed big enough for it to count as a task. She smiled as she took some letters from one end of the room to the other, giving a smile before she raced off to do something else. Only to nearly fall when someone grabbed her arm. "What the-" She looked around quickly, only to take a sigh of relief. "Mu!"

"Hat Girl, are you ok? You look like you were running for your life." Mu said, tilting her head as Hat Girl just smiled and tried to race off again. But Mu kept her grip on her, and began to bring her over to the seats nearby. Hat Girl let out a small whine as she tried to reset, but soon Mu gently tossed her onto the seat. "Is she always like this now? This is the first time I'm seeing her like this." Mu asked.

"I mean, she can get competitive at times..." Van, who Hat Girl hadn't even notice was there, said. Mu gave a nod as she sat down by Hat Girl, pulling her arm above her body so she couldn't get back up. Van awkwardly sat beside them both, adjusting their sleeves a bit as an awkward silence filled the air around them. "S-So, I saw P-Platinum racing around earlier. You two racing or something?"

"Yea, we are. Trying too see who can get the most tasks around the ship done before the end of the day." Hat Girl said, lending her head back. "Kinda like Among us now that I think about it." She said, getting a chuckle from Van and a confused look from Mu. She shook her head as she straightened her position in the seat a bit. "Been doing it for a couple hours now. Probably won, but I got distracted a few times like with Fredrick."

"Huh, Fredrick?" Mu asked, tilting her head to the side. She hadn't really heard from him since Burt almost died in Mafia Town, where she saved the man. That eye was still in her memory, it was a bit weird. She shook her head a bit to clear it. She needed to focus. She turned back to Hat Girl who was now looking at her. "The cheese toppat, right. What did he do to distract you? Or was the smell of his hat too much to bare at the time."

"Trust us, you get used too the hats smell after awhile." Hat Girl let out a chuckle, waving a dismissed hand before glancing to the side a bit. She lowered her voice to a whisper and gesture for them both to lend in a bit. "He accidentally admitted he likes Burt while drunk. Like, like likes."

"Woah, that's a lot of likes." Van said, Hat Girl giving a nod as Mu processed it. They weren't already dating? She figured that was what was going on between them back when she asked that question... and somehow she felt some worry. Like she was going to make a similar mistake. But why? She didn't have too.. she let out a sigh. "Are you ok over there, Mu?" Van asked, turning the girl's attention to them. "You look like you were in your own space for a moment."

"I'm fine." Mu said, crossing her arms and glancing to the side a bit. When she glanced over a bit, she saw Hat Girl had a worried look, and it made her sigh and turn back, shaking her head a bit. What was she even doing? She looked out the window for a moment, you could see the moon beginning to show up in the sky. "I mean, hopefully they work things out. I mean, they're adults. They kinda have too, don't they."

"Hopefully they will eventually." Hat Girl said, joining Mu and glancing out the window. Van peaked over their shoulder too glance out as well, making Hat Girl let out a small giggle before it turned to a sigh. "I hate seeing Fredrick the way I did though. It's ok to be sad but I've never seen him like that."

"I mean, you don't normally see someone in our clan get sad and upset in the open." Van said, a little awkwardly. They saw people in the clan get upset before, true. But it was a clan of criminals, they expected it when they joined. They were actually surprised to see it happen less often than they thought. People here just didn't get too mad or if they did, they knew how to handle it. "So it does draw attention too-"

"Attention, pup and mechanical pup." The Captain's voice played over the speakers, the group giving the nearest speaker in sight their attention. Most others just looked around for a moment, confused. Before going back to whatever they were doing before. Hat Girl might have done the same was it not referring to her and Platinum. "You both done enough, come back here and put your little completion to end before one of you trips and breaks something."

"Sorry guys, gotta go brag to Platinum!" Hat Girl said, getting up so quickly she nearly knocked Mu down in the process. "Whoops, sorry, gotta go!" she giggled as she raced to the nearest door nearby.

"I have no idea how her Dads handle her or her brother." Mu said, getting up and dusting herself off. Van looked at her and gave the tiniest of shrugs. They would’ve questioned if she had an idea since she deals with a whole town full of mafia, but they didn’t want to get a glare that might give them a heart attack alone. "They work well together, but they also like to compete against each other and you get cases like this."

"At least they're happy?" Van said, tilting their head to the side as Mu looked at him, before giving a small nod. SHe headed out the nearby door, walking outside into the cold air as Van followed behind quitely. Van glanced down in the ocean, seeing some fins coming up from the water faintly. And... something else. "What are those weird dark things under the water?" They asked. "They almost look like horses."

"Your seeing things. Any horse would drown if it was underwater." Mu said, waving a dismissive hand with an eye roll as Van gave a shiver at the thought of that. Wouldn't really be a pretty sight... but still. Maybe they might bring it up to Platinum if they have the time. They watched as Mu sighed. "Oh Hattie. What am I supposed to do with you.."

"They'll be here soon, no going back now." The Captain said after he made his announcement. He got off his chair and began to head down to where the doors were, going next to the screens as he waited. He glanced at them, too see they were all currently staticy, like they all broken or found a busted channel of sorts. So, he was going to do that kind of entrance then. Not that he could say what he could and couldn't do.

Soon the kids got in, almost bumping into each other from the speed at which they entered the room. They backed up a bit as they looked at each other, both taking a small breather, especially Hat Girl. The Captain didn't even know how Hat Girl was still standing. Must be some sort of backup energy of her own sorts. He didn't know how her species worked after all. She seemed to have endless as a kid, being able to race around without a care.

"100." Hat Girl said as soon as Platinum began to open his mouth. He stared at her in surprise, and a bit of horror. "At least." She added as he hung his head in defeat. She let out a chuckle as she glanced over at the captain, giving him a smile. "Thanks again for letting us do this, it was fun!" She said, the robot nodding slightly.

"You're welcome Pup... I know you weren't expecting anything but. There's someone I’d like you to meet." The Captain said, gesturing to the screen. Confused, both of them came over. Looking at the screen, they all just seemed to be static. Although Platinum was able to catch the faint traces of what seemed to be sparks going between them. He put his arm in front of Hat Girl and took a step back. "You can come o-"

"BOO!" A figure shouted as they suddenly appeared on all the screens. They were a very dark purple figure with a glowing white eye and mouth. A blue, vaguely cat or bat shaped mask was giving the other half of their face, a permanent smile on it and green markings coming down from the eye. Not that either teen took in all these details at once, falling back with shouts from the sudden scare. "Oh... whoops, too much?" The figure asked, their voice echoing.

"Perhaps... But I should have seen that, knowing you." The Captain sighed, as the figure's face disappeared from all the screens except the one near the Captain. As the teens got up and looked at the strange figure, the Captain rolled his eyes faintly. "This is Hydratic. Some electrical spirit thing that lives in the equipment of the cruise ship since he first found his way on here. Pretty much moved in without rent."

"Ah don't be like that. You and the seals love me!" Hydartic said with a chuckle, taking a step back from the edge of the screen. He was wearing a red-jacket like top, with yellow markings around. But his legs were odd to note. From what they could see, they were like static, glitching and not really exciting like the rest of Hydartic, but still usable, apparently. "Anyway, Hat Girl, Platinum! Wonderful too met you screen to face!"

"Oh, you're so cool!" Platinum said as he walked up closer to the screen, Hat Girl nodding as she came behind him. As she stared at the mask, she got a weird feeling she had seen it before, but she didn't want to push anything, Hydartic seemed really cool after all. He felt like a more chill version of Snatcher. "Man, I bet if we could get you on the orbital station, there would be all sorts of chaos you can do!"

"Heh, I like this kid." Hydartic said, looking over at the Captain who took the opportunity to begin to work on some paperwork. Hydartic then looked at Hat Girl, then let out an award chuckle as he began to rub the back of his head a bit. "Hehe, hope you don't mind. B-But I was sorta watching you from the cameras I heard a lot about you so I was curious, that's all!"

"Well, that does explain a bit. But no worries!" Hat Girl said, giving a smile as Hydartic breathed a sigh of relief, before leaning against the edge of the screen he was currently in. She was curious what it must be like for him. She never saw anyone like him on this planet before, and she didn't remember learning about anything like this. "So, Hydartic. Where did you come from, how did you end up on the cruise ship?"

"Well... the first part is foggy... I just remember suddenly existing as... something in a storm." Hydratic said, pacing back and front and the screen behind him flicker to a newsboard cast somewhere, showing a storm of some sort. "Eventually I learn how to jump into stuff like this and, after a bit of hoping, found myself here and made it home." Hydartic smiled as he turned back to them. "Plenty to do, plus the seals alone are a bonus."

"You're speaking about my crew there." The Captain sighed as Hydartic chuckled with the teens. The seals really did seem to like Hydartic though, even if they couldn't interact much during work. "It's a miracle those seals hadn't rated your existence out to anyone."

"I mean, if it makes you feel better, it sounds like you handled your self-awareness better than me." Platinum said, giving an awkward chuckle as Hat Girl shook her head and the Captain tilted his. Hydratic looked a bit worried, but Platinum waved a divisive hand. "It's fine."

"You gotta come with us when we head back home to visit! I'm sure everyone will love you. Maybe your electrical stuff can help us fix our orbital station!" Hat Girl said.

"That sounds fun... But it's not something in my complete control." Hydratic said, giving a sigh. "See, while I can hop into nearby tech, probably even your brother there easily when near-"

"Like a Rotom?" Platinum asked.

"I have no idea what a Rotom is, but sure." Hydartic stated, before shaking his head. "Unless there's just lines of technology for miles to go, I can't really go far without something like a thunderstorm. And unless I sit through hours of weather channels before then, I have no idea where it will go or if it will last long enough. And between you and me, I’d rather not go back to the pre-tech life of being dragged around in the sky, not even fully aware when there isn't a storm.."

"Yea... I can see that... Plus you wouldn't want to pick a fight with those electric demons... even if they are tamer than I thought." Platinum mumbled the last part, getting a chuckle from his sister.

"I understand you're both excited, but you both should head to your rooms now." The Captain claimed. "It's getting really late, and I would rather not risk picking a fight with your fathers. Too much effort."

Hat Girl gave a sigh, before smiling. "Alright! We'll just have to come back here tomorrow, right Platinum?" Hat Girl asked, getting a nod.

"Pup, I'm not sure if-"

"Come on Captain, it's not going to kill you any more than eating junk food all day." Hydratic said, waving a dismissive hand. "Although I have to admit, I'm still curious what it tastes like... or what taste is."

The Captain sighed, shaking his head as he turned to the teens. "Alright. If you two go now, you can come back-" That was all he needed to say, before the two were out the door. The Captain then turned to the electrical spirit, who smiled as they left, before turning to the Captain. "You didn't tell her about the visions."

Hydartic frowned, his voice losing his energetic tone and became one with a hint of worry. "She's already done what she needed to do based on what I saw. There's no use in making her worry about something that may not even happen. At least, in a long time."

"That one ghost Snatcher revived is walking around, and you said it would be a long time before something like that happened only about a month before, from what I understand." The Captain said.

"She and her clan should be safe." Hydratic said. "They got… They gotta be."

"And if they aren't?" The Captain asked, before beginning to head back to his seat with a yawn. "Face it. Those visions you have are slowly coming true. And the Pup needs to learn sooner or later if she wishes to be prepared."

Hydratic didn't respond. Just glancing to the side before the screen turned off.
