He’s the entire reason I got into Naruto in the first place. I loved the intrigue/mystery surrounding his mask and I won’t lie, I think he’s really hot lmao B UT I can also relate a lot to his backstory in the sense that we’ve both had a really rough life!

Deidara

Dude Deidara is the best! Yes he’s hot okay, most of my faves are for this reason BUT I also love his personality! He feels so human and well thought out, even if he is a villain who we don’t really see all that long. He’s fun and energetic, plus I love art too!

Let’s be real tho, I literally love the entire akatsuki. They’re like my fave villain group of all time. I want an akatsuki cloud tattoo okay 😩

Genma

Okay okay okay I know this is weird and random but hear me out. I love this character, sm. I love his design, his personality, his voice, just, everything about him? I know he’s a minor character we very rarely see but idk I’m just so drawn to him 🥺

hhhhnnnnNNGHHHHHH I love this man I s2g 🥺 like, he’s so pretty??? Eyelashes for days??? And long silky hair???? It’s mostly an aesthetic thing, but I do really like his backstory. I think he deserved so much better too!

I feel like most people either love or hate him. Nobody ever is just like “he’s okay”. At least, no one I’ve ever met. Personally, he’s creepy as hell and I just *shudders* I just really don’t like him lmao

Sasuke

I can feel the hate I’m gonna get from this but oh well. Sasuke to me is very... overrated, which is weird considering I love his brother/emo boys lmao. But Sasuke just feels ridiculous at times. I also don’t like how he went crazy, psycho, murderer and then was just accepted back with open arms, for the most part anyways. I didn’t watch Naruto until I was 17 so that may also have something to do with it but? Idk, just really dislike him 🙃

Hiruzen Sarutobi (Third Hokage)

Okay. So. I really actually hate him lmao. I always see people ranting and raving about what an amazing hokage he was. Ummmmmm excuse me? He was awful! He promised to take care of Naruto, love him and treat him like his own but he actually didn’t? He never payed any attention to him and shoved him into some shitty ass apartments on his own? Plus the WHOLE VILLAGE bullied Naruto and he did nothing to stop it? Yeah, he’s awful. I understand he’s not biologically related to Naruto and all, but he still made that promise to Minato/Kushina and should’ve respected it. Yes, he could’ve just left him on the streets which is worse, but there was so much more he could have done FOR Naruto. I also understand he barely payed attention to his own grandson but still. You get the point. I don’t think he did anything right by those kids. I also think he’s to blame for the Uchiha massacre. Like, he knew what they were doing and went “ya know what itachi, why don’t you go kill them all and then fuck off even tho we know about this bc fuck you????” He knew about the Uchihas plans for YEARS and then with Danzo-

Sakura

Alrighty. This one is gonna be long like the Third Hokage’s. So I have moments where I both love and hate Sakura. I really do want her to be my favorite characters, but it’s really fucking hard. Honestly she’s probably my fave female character besides Temari, who was turned into a useless housewife, and Tsunade who is actually a /decent/ female character, post-Naruto fucking knocking some god damn sense into her. So really, I guess that makes her my fave female of the Konoha 12? Idk. A N Y W A Y S. Most of the women are done poorly, but Kishimoto has admitted to not being able to write them well so, it’s more understandable

Anyways. I’ll start out with why I dislike her

I HATE what she did to Naruto. It was seriously fucked up of her to use his feelings for her against him and just- Ugh, that shit really grinds my gears and pisses me off because I’ve been in Naruto’s shoes before in a situation like that with someone. I also hated how she STILL pined over Sasuke and ENDED UP WITH HIM???? Honestly, I don’t think Sasuke should have gotten with anyone and that’s because he does not seem emotionally ready/available to be in a (healthy) relationship, NOT because I don’t like him and I think he doesn’t deserve happiness. But anyways, I digress. I know that looks aren’t the most important things buuuuuut Studio Pierrot really made her look bad. Not only does she look more badass in the manga, but she actually has decent sex appeal. The only reason I bring that up specifically is because a LOT of people like to compare her to Ino and Hinata and make fun of her flat chest. I feel like it’s also worth mentioning, that anytime Sasuke was around or even mentioned, she turned into a babbling idiot, which is probably her biggest downfall to me

Now, on to why I like her

Sakura is the strongest NORMAL person in the world of Naruto, whether you want to believe it or not. Naruto and Sasuke are literal GODS. Even if they are reincarnations, they’re still gods. Of course Sakura is going to be useless compared to them. BUT compare her to other characters and she’s def stronger than them. She has surpassed her teacher, Tsunade, who was one of the Legendary Sannin. She’s also much stronger than Kakashi, who was a child prodigy and jonin at the age of thirteen. She also was also able to nearly go toe-to-toe with a member of the Akatsuki. I know she had help from Lady Chiyo, but she still did well, all things considered. Deidara has also stated previously that Sasori was stronger than him, so with that in consideration, she would have probably been able to beat him on her own and possibly several other members of the Akatsuki

So like no hate to anyone ship or anything... but after watching 110 episodes of Fairy tail.. Was Juvia literally written in to obsess over Gray? It's actually really annoying.. Like was she not able to have any other personality trait? I hate watching strong characters being reduced to this..

Like I'm sure I would have ate this shit up at 10 years old but watching this now is making me just feel so bad for both her and Gray's character development. It would have been better if they had a Shikamaru and Temari type relationship? I mean, anything is better than this tbh. Explain why your naruto ships would be better for him than Hinata

Alright these are the naruto ships I would think would be better than him ending up with a Hinata

First one is Sasuke and Naruto (shocker)

Naruto fucking loves the shit out Sasuke. He believed in Sasuke when no one else did. He put everything on the line for Sasuke. And if Sasuke had to end up with someone it’s Narutl. But he wants his clan to grow so he’s like “uh Naruto I love you, but can we get a surgate?” And naruto would have been okay. But it didn’t. Naruto and Sasuke would go on a trip and afterwards naruto would become hokage and change all the wrong things of the village. But alas. Fuck that happy ending .

Naruto and Sakura

The whole, “you were by my side the whole time” shit. I explained already why they’re good. For a recap yeah there was flaws between them but that’s what a real relationship is, things to overcome, but not all hills can be romantized. But theirs could.

Now it’s getting into less likely but still works

Gaara and naruto.

In theory Gaara’s love for naruto May have been more one sided but Gaara loved naruto for naruto. They were hella similar and they didn’t been force Gaara to be with anyone at the end, meaning just maybe Gaara had feelings (too be fair him and Lee are cute). I did explain this ship too and it’s problems, but it’s still better than Hinata and Naruto in my opinion.

Ino and naruto (sorry that the gif aint that cool)

Ino has always been in the team 7 narrative. I’m Sakura rival and friend, I love Sasuke. And naruto, they remind me of elemantary school kids that mess with each other. Ino tells Sakura to cheer for naruto because he’s Sakura teammate and cheer up, BUT I don’t feel like that’s not all. If he was a sucky character she would be like f him, Sakura you can laugh at naruto’s failure that’s about to unfold. No she knew Naruto would be a good match and he has potential. They’re always funny and both sunshine characters. They’re not popular ship, but naruto could be himself in front of all these characters. He could show his bad side without guilt for having a bad side that’s why all these ships are better than Hinata

Time for hard reaches

They’re first friends and Shikamaru does a lot for Naruto’s happiness. His place in the story is a less powerful naruto. He does a shit ton, but he doesn’t have that much hidden power. He helps naruto find his true love Sasuke and (time for the stretch) maybe get his boy to see who was always there

Tenten and naruto

WHAT A FAR STRETCH but hear me out. She’s like Sakura which I explained. And during some filler arcs she tells naruto her insecurities. Now I don’t even ship this but she’s better for naruto than Hinata. Tenten actually talks to him about her problems and tells him shit straight. She even knows that he’s strong and blah blah blah. Yeah I’m repeating myself. Neji would have to be dead and some other characters for me to ever get hyped but I feel like any character with a type A personality would work for the most part.

Characters I wouldn’t like

Temari and Naruto.

She knows he’s strong but in her eyes probably he’s too energetic and maybe childish.

Kiba and naruto

Just no, he’s like a naruto with a standing clan that let him turn into an okay dick. Kiba isn’t all that bad but he wouldn’t work for naruto. He respects him and all, but they’re the “it’s too similar it doesn’t work out.” Kinda of shit. And he’s cocky in a bad way.

Shino and naruto

Shino would get lost in the crowd, like Hinata, but Shino would tell naruto like hey man please don’t leave me in crowded situations, but I feel like naruto would keep letting that happen.

Lee and naruto

I’m neutral on them. I can’t really think of anything to write for them or deny them

Kankuro and naruto

They didn’t talk that much

Choiji and naruto

Really just friends that you can’t find anything to make it romantic.

Neji and naruto

Idk maybe he did have feelings for naruto and was like well I gotta let my cousin get him. I feel like something could be written but I’m way too hardcore Neji and Tenten. They were somewhat close and naruto made a promise he Berber fulfilled, so I guess I’m still pissy on that

I guess, but way too much of a stretch for me to think about. Sai would probs tease him a lot.

Jiraiya, Ibiki, and Iruka! Go!

Ooh, this is hard! Actuallyno, I just had an epiphany.

I gotta put this under a cut because it got reeeaaally long (who is still surprised?)

Slow burn with Jiraiya

I think, one of the most/only redeeming thingsabout Jiraiya is how he loves Tsunade.  Idon’t remember if this was filler, but regardless, it was what made me like himas a character.  He gives this speechwhere he says something like, “I love Tsunade, even knowing she doesn’t loveme back.  I just want her to be happy, and soI want to do my best to make a world where she’ll be happy in.” Something likethat. I can’t remember exactly, but the thing I loved about it was that he didn’thate her/resent her for not loving him. He doesn’t think she owes him her love for being kind to her.  Even after Dan died, he didn’t think that Tsunade had to love him back, he just wanted her to be happy—even if shenever loved him, even if it was at his expense. Like, that’s actual love.  That’snone of this Nice Guy™ bullshit, that’s being a real person who really lovessomeone.  Jiraiya has his flaws, forsure, and he’s made mistakes, but how he loves is definitely one of hisredeeming characteristics.  In a strangeway, it’s what made me stop shipping JiraiTsu. Like, I love how ok he is with her never loving him back.  His ‘reward’ in this isn’t eventually earningTsunade’s love, it’s just seeing her happy. And that’s a beautiful sentiment.

Since Jiraiya’s love for Tsunade is such a huge part of him,I think that a slow burn with him would be great.  He doesn’t expect to fall in love with anyoneelse, because Tsunade is the only one for him. Plus, I can’t imagine any person knowing about his inability to respectwomen’s privacy as going “that’s the one for me.”  He’s not really a catch in that way.  I myself am a pervert (please refer to my#wowzawednesday tag lol) but people whoinfringe on other people’s privacy are not what I would consider a catch.  Like,go watch some porn, get a dirty magazine, hell, go to a live sex show.  But don’t go peeping at people who haven’tgiven you permission to peep at them.  Sowe’d both start off not really wanting to be with the other.  

Idk what would happen next. I’d probably start to see him differently once I heard the ‘I loveTsunade speech.’ He’d probably fall in love with me because I’d teach him howto perv in acceptable ways haha.  Ok,maybe not.  But we would perv it outtogether, maybe get in an unintentional competition for the Super Pervert title(I can see this accidentally happening ahaha). Honestly, we might bond over Icha Icha (because I couldn’t live in a world without smut, and without fanfiction I feel like Icha Icha would be my best bet lol).  I’d offer him pointers.  He’d ask if I wanted to give him a hands on lesson.  We’d continue to flirt until one day we’d both realise that we stopped pretending and were actually flirting.  Then, it’s only a matter of time lol.

Fake dating with Ibiki

Do you know how hilarious it would be to fake date Ibiki?  He totally would not want to do it. “Find someone prettier,” he’d grunt. But then, it’s for the intel, Ibi-kun~ “Don’t call me that.” But Ibi-kun, I’m just getting into character. “I didn’t agree to that.” You’re so cute when you’re grumpy, Ibi-kun. “I’m not grumpy, this is my face.” And what a cute face you’ve got!  He would be so frustrated with me ahaha.  Convincing him would be the hardest part.  But once he agreed (or was forced into it) he would be the best.  Why?  Because he’d be all psychological about it.  This would be some mastermind fake dating shit.

It would start as a secret. “No one would believe I openly started dating someone.” And then it would stay a secret for a long time.  “No one would believe I would get caught secretly dating someone.” And it would be like but then why??? Are we??? Going on??? Secret??? Dates??? If??? No one??? Knows??? And it would all be for like, really intense set up. Like, he’d teach me how to bake (I can bake already, but like, Ibiki is prob next level so he’d teach me how to bake better) and like, people would slowly notice that my baking had improved, though I would of course just brush it off, oh, you know, practice makes perfect!  I listen to music all the time, and people might notice he has a radio in his office, which they can hear playing on very low volume when he’s doing his paperwork. It would be a bunch of little things, where we just purposefully and strategically slowly brushed off on each other. 

And there would be strategic gifts.  Ibiki gets me a trench coat.  (I later find out that he has this fantasy of his s/o coming over to his house in the middle of the night, wearing a trench coat and heels and nothing else…I will be very happy to act out that scenario with him). .I get him a new bandana for his hitai-ate.  It’s a deep, forest green, which almost looks black unless he’s standing in the sun.  People notice it and ask him about the change.  He just shrugs and says “the old one ripped.”

About six months into the relationship, we both very strategically put on a bit of weight (10lbs for me, 15 for him).  It is very easy, with all the baking Ibiki does.  My smile gets just a bit sharper.  People can’t exactly point their finger on what’s different, but they definitely feel the change. Ibiki is seen smiling more frequently.  It’s a pretty off-putting smile, and it coincides with the newest addition to the T&I department, so people brush it off as him being a sadist.  Anko is very slightly suspicious that something is going on.  Anko is always suspicious.  No one thinks anything of it. 

And still, no one would know we were dating.  Until like, we got legitimately engaged, because in this long, drawn out process of pretending to date (that would take like, a year, maybe longer) we’d totally fall in love (because we’d fake date so believingly that even we’d be convinced).  And by then we’d have to send out wedding invitations to a couple of people we’re close to (definitely a small wedding).  Anko would piece together all the small, subtle ways we had brushed off on each other and be like ‘it was so obvious, how could I have missed this???’ and Ibiki and I would smile secretively because of course it worked.

Enemies to lovers with Iruka

I picked this because, out of all the choices, this is the least expected.  Like, who doesn’t likeIruka?  How horrible of a person do Ihave to be for Iruka to hate me?  I wantto make this even more hard, and say we’re not from different villages.  And nothing about knowing each other when wewere kids (that’s also too easy, kids get into stupid fights). 

So why do Irukaand I hate each other?  I’m gonna gowith, he doesn’t approve of my glib attitude towards sex/perverted things.  He’d probably catch me explaining to thepreteens about how babies are actually made, and why safe sex is important, andwhich things in Jiraiya’s books are possible and which things are just puremale fantasy.  I like to think the rookie9 would come to me with all their sex questions.  It would be hilarious.  Iruka would hate all of that (and how I critiquedNaruto and Konohamaru’s sexy jutsu instead of reprimanding them for exploring theirsexuality) and I get mad at him for being stuck up about it.  

So maybe not enemies but definitely notfriends.  I’d tell him he had a stick up his ass.  He’d call me irresponsible and a bad influence.  I’d read Icha Icha out loud in front of him.  He’d turn red and try and confiscate mybook.  I’d accuse him of being a closetpervert and taking the book so he doesn’t have to go into the store and buy onehimself.  He’d turn even more red.

Basically, our relationship would involve me trying to embarrasshim with sex.  Until he got fed up withme, and tried to act totally cool and unaffected by me.  And of course it wouldn’t work.  But maybe I’d tease him a bit too far, andcome on to him.  Actually, I wouldprobably try to make him uncomfortable by being really over-the-top seductive(ie super cheesy and cliché) and he’d just… snap.  Totally have enough of it.  I’d be leaning too close to him, and he’djust kiss me.  It would be a reallysloppy, but very hot kiss filled with frustration.  

He would be totally embarrassed about itafterwards and probably avoid me.  Thatkiss, of course, would make me realise I had feelings for him, and so I’d seekhim out and kiss him again.  Then we’dstart dating, and our relationship wouldn’t change much (Iruka seems so fun totease I wouldn’t be able to help myself) but I do feel that, once he’s morecomfortable with me (and in private) he’d be more willing to tease back.  Which I would find completely attractive (becausethat’s like, my secret weakness lol).

It was a pretty average day. There were people walking, talking, nothing special. It was just another day at Konoha high. But today, something new was happening. Two new students were at the gates. This is where our story starts.

"Whoa, it's huge!"

Yue and Ace stared in amazement at the school. It was unlike anything they'd ever seen before. Yue was practically jumping up and down. "Well what are we waiting for! Lettuce roll!" Ace laughed. "That pun is so old!" "Yup!" The two girls entered. Talking and laughing, they headed to the office. Ace knocked on the door, and the two girls waited patiently.

"Come in."

Ace opened the door and both of the girls walked in. They saw a woman at a desk. Ace spoke. "Hi, my name's Ace Rivera~" "And I'm Yue Damigou." "We're new to this school, and were told to go here." The woman smiled warmly. "My name is Tsunade and I am the principal of this school. Here are your timetables and locker numers/combinations. I hope you enjoy your time at this school." She handed Ace and Yue their timetables as they nodded thanks and left. They looked at their timetables. Yue's face lit up. "I have P.E first, not too bad. What do you have?" Ace frowned. "I have history, so we don't have class together." Yue groaned. "Man, that sucks. But we'll see each other at lunch at least. By the way, we need to find our lockers." "Right!" The two girls went together, and were pleased to find that their lockers were right next to each other. "I'll see ya later Ace!" "Later Yue!" And the two girls headed to their classes.

Ace's P.O.V

I liked History, I mean, it wasn't bad and all and I was pretty good at most things, so I walked in the classroom doing deep breaths. Once I walked in I saw a little book on the floor, so I picked it up and then a girl with beautiful lavender eyes came up to me and shyly said "Um excuse me this is m-my b-book" I replied "Oh sorry here you go!" and I handed her the book "Th-thank y-you" she said "No prob!" I said and turned to try and find a place to sit at "Hey come here newbie!" yelled a guy "No come here" another yelled and just like that almost 10 guys called me to sit next to them "Hey why don't you come here you look lost" I turned and saw a girl with a mini fan. She looked nice, and she was a girl so why not! I sat next to her and said "Hi my name is Ace Rivera what's your name?" she then replied "My name is Temari, nice to meet you Ace" she said with a warm and welcoming smile. After a few minutes the teacher came in. His name was Asuma and why do I know this? Cause obviously I'm not a stalker its because I know a lot about this school! not a stalker I PROMISE!

Yue's P.O.V

I was tugging at my P.E shirt, trying to make it cover more of me up. This frickn P.E shirt was so bloody annoying! I gave up and entered the gym. I looked around. Lots of people were already in groups, so I stood there fiddling with my leatherman. People called me crazy for carrying a pocket knife with me, but what they didn't realise was there are more tools on a leatherman than a bloody knife! "Hi!" My head snapped up, and I saw a pink haired girl, and a girl with two buns looking at me. I quickly shoved the leatherman in my pocket and said "Hi." Social situation. Don't screw this up. The buns girl spoke up. "I've never seen you around here before. Are you new?" I smiled. "Uh, yeah!" Pinkette spoke next. "Oh, well, I'm Sakura, and this-" she pointed at the girl with buns."is Tenten." "Well, I'm Yue! It's nice to meet you!" The girls smiled. "Come and meet our other friends!" Sakura took my hand and pulled me over to one of the groups in the gym. I saw a boy with a bowl cut, and a boy with long brown hair. "Hey guys, this is Yue! She's new here!" Suddenly bowl cut boy was on his knees. "Please be my girlfriend! I'll protect you til I die!" I went red and flustered. "Uh-um, we've only just met...but maybe we can friends?" I said hopefully. The boy seemed satisfied with the answer and resumed his place beside long haired boy. Tenten introduced them. Bowl cut boy was Rock lee, and long haired boy was Neji. 

We were going to race! The one sport I'm good at, luck must be on my side! Guy, the P.E teacher started us off. "On your marks...get set...GOOOO!!!" I ran. I was passing everyone. Suddenly I was at the finish line. I bent over and panted. I then suddenly realised... I JUST WON WON YASSS!!! "WOO I WON!!!" I was jumping up and down on the spot. I can't wait to tell Ace!

Ace's P.O.V

After most of the classes were over, Yue and I decided to go get some lunch cause it was lunch time. "Hey Yue how was P.E?" I asked Yue "Its better than expected! We had a race and guess what I WON!" she replied excitedly "That's great! I met a really nice girl and she asked me to sit next to her today" I said "Same! I met two girls in P.E today and they told me to stand with them" said Yue facing me and I gave her a smile "Hey Ace!" called Temari from a table "Oh hey Temari!" I yelled back "That's the girl I met" I told Yue pointing at Temari then Yue lightly smacked my hand down and said "Pointing at people is rude Ace!" "But you do it too!" I whined. Yue smiled sheepishly "heh...oops" . "Hey Yue!" yelled a girl with two pom poms in her hair and a girl with pink hair "Hey guys!" Yue yelled back "I guess those are your friends right?" I told Yue "You're good at guessing!" said Yue. We both went and sat next to our friends. I learned that Temari was pretty popular in this school along with a boy named Sasuke and the two girls named Sakura and TenTen were pretty cool too!

No ones P.O.V

"What class do you have Ace? I got art." Yue was smiling at her timetable. She loved art, and was glad she got it. "I got P.E  we don't have class together." She said, frowning. Yue turned to Ace. "It sucks that we got different classes cause I wanted to have class with you!" Ace smiled and said "I know, but hey guess what my friend Temari has all classes with me isn't that great!" Ace said smiling then Yue fake pouted and said "Yeah just don't forget about me and that I'm you bff!" Ace gave a smile and said "I would never forget about you! Are you dumb or something?" and they both laughed. After they gave their goodbyes Temari came to pick Ace up and Yue had to find the Art Room by herself.

Ace's P.O.V

I started to walk to P.E with Temari and suddenly bumped into a guy "You're so clumsy" said Temari "Oops sorry" I told the person I bumped into "Oh hey Neji" said Temari and "Neji"  just gave her a nod "Well your name must be Neji mine is-" "Ace Rivera" said Temari pushing me away from a boy that was about to hit me with his skate board "Nice to meet you and be careful next time" said Neji as he walked away "Man you're really clumsy and watch where you're going!" said Temari "Well someone is acting like a mom" I said laughing. Once we got to P.E we both got dressed and man they made us wear blue crop tops with black shorts (Tbh it was a cute outfit!) and we looked cute! "You look awesome in mostly everything!" said Temari and I smiled back at her and said "So do you" then I saw a boy with duck butt hair??? I bursted out laughing so hard I fell on the ground by just looking at him "HAHA LOOK AT THAT DUCK BUTT HAIR HA!" I yelled then he turned at me with a death glare "Why are you laughing so much?" said Temari "Just look at his hair!" I said to her and still giggled "OKAY CLASS SO TODAY WE WILL BE RACING AND WE WILL COMPETE EACH OTHER OKAY So first we have Temari vs Kisame" said a man in a green jumpsuit "You better win" I told Temari patting her "I will" said Temari and she kept her promise cause she beat him "Alright!" I yelled "Next we have Ace vs Sasuke" said the teacher who was in a green jumpsuit "You got this Ace" said Temari cheering me on "I know I do" I said with so much confident and Sasuke who had the duck butt hair just smirked and we ran faster than lightning! But we obviously know who won ....... ME! "Yay you did it!" yelled Temari and I smirked at Sasuke and he gave me a glare.

Yue's P.O.V 

I entered the classroom and saw no one I knew. I was kind of lost so I went and sat with a red haired boy and a blond haired boy. The blonde haired smirked at me "Well what do we have here un? Someone new?" I looked nervously at him. "Hi, I'm Yue Damigou! Whats your name?" I smiled. "Well, I'm Deidera un, and this is my man Sasori!" I looked at the red head and waved. He nodded his head at me and thats when I noticed the carved wood in his hand and the partially moulded clay in Deidera's. "Oh, you do model making! Can I see your guys art!? It looks super cool!" Sasori showed me a almost finished horse carving and Deidera showed me a nearly done clay bird. "Wow I love your art!" I fan girled slightly over it, making them sweat drop and other classmates whisper about me. People always saw me as strange weird freak so I was used to it. The other two looked at me with...confusion in their eyes? "Why do you just let them talk about you?" Sasori asked. "Well, I was alway talked about like this, so I'm used to it." They looked at me dumbfounded. The teacher suddenly walked in "Hello class, I am Kurenai! Today you can do any art you like, but it has to be something related to you!" I pulled out my art pad and computer and decided to do some digital art. I was finishing up my photoshop when I heard Deidera "You did that!? That's amazing un!" I looked up and said "Well who else woulda done it? Santa?" I laughed as he rubbed the back of his neck. Sasori looked "Who are they?"  I looked at the picture. "It's my parents." I said quietly. Sensing this was the topic to stay away from, They turned back to their own art. I laughed. They looked at me strangely. "Why so quiet?" Deidera blushed. "I-but-you-" Sasori just blushed and looked away. "It's okay guys!" They looked at me sheepishly while I just laughed.

No one's P.O.V

"Yo Ace!" Yue ran over to her childhood friend. "Hey Yue!" Yue gushed "Hey, guess what, I made some awesome friends in art! Wanna join us for lunch?" Ace frowned. "I had friends who wanted me to eat with them though." Yue faltered slightly. "Well, that's okay! We'll just see each other at social studies!" Ace beamed. "Yup!" Yue Smiled and waved, and ran to a blonde head and red head. Ten ten came over to Ace. "Why is she sitting with the Akasuki?" Ace looked confused at Ten ten. "The who now?" Ten ten sighed. "The Akasuki. "They are some bad people you don't wanna mess with or be with" TenTen added "Why?" asked Ace "Cause they had a HUGE argument with Sasuke and Naruto" said TenTen "What was the fight about?" Ace asked again TenTen sighed and said "Well, Sasuke has some, er, Family issues and they also wanted Naruto to join. They were arguing about it, and then it kinda got physical." Ace gasped and looked at Naruto and Sasuke. "Who knew Duckbutt of all people would have family issues. And Naruto to...". She glanced back at Yue questioningly. Did she know?

"Hey Yue?"

"Hm?"

The two girls were talking together, waiting for the school day to start.

"What were the people you were sitting with like?"

"Huh. Well, they all were really nice! Well, most of them. Some of them are just kinda quiet, which I guess is pretty normal when you meet people for the first time."

Ace became slightly confused. "Oh really? That's weird, cause I heard that they are really bad news, and you should stay away from them."

Yue frowned. "That may be, but you know me. I don't like judging people that fast. I want to see if they genuinely are bad people. And If they are, well I'll stay away from them."

Ace rolled her eyes at her predictable friend. "Well, okay then. But If you need help, call me okay?"

"Well who else am I gonna call!? Santa?"

The girls laughed as the bell went. "Sweet, we got mixed classes for History and P.E! We got class together!" Ace beamed. "Well lets get going then!" And the two raced to History.

The two entered the class. Ace noticed a boy with red marks on his cheeks. "I'm gonna sit next to red cheeks!" and sat there. Seeing as there was no space, Yue looked for another seat. There was one next to a guy with duck butt hair, so she took it. 

Yue's P.O.V

Well, I sat next to a guy with duck butt hair. I swear I've seen him somewhere before, but where...

"Hn. You again."

Flashback

I was running to social studies, when suddenly I crashed into someone. My books and papers flew everywhere, and I fell on the ground. "Urgh...Sorry!" I quickly picked up my stuff, and held my hand out to the person I knocked over. I finally got a good look at the dude. Onyx eyes, duck butt hair, pretty good looking in general. Not the kind of person that would hang out with me I bet. Suddenly an entourage of fan girls raced over to the dude. "Oh-my-gawd-Sasuke-kun-are-you-okay?" Was all I could really hear. Guess the guys name is Sasuke. "Hey freak, apologise to Sasuke kun!" Suddenly I noticed all eyes on me. Including a pair of onyx ones. I lowered my head. "I already have." I spat. Then I ran off before they could get me. 

Sasuke's P.O.V

"Yeah, me again. And" She said defensively She turned and pulled a book out of her bag. Does she expect me to bully her or something? Yesh, she's sensitive. I looked over to her blonde friend, the one that said I had duck butt hair. She intrigued me. She wasn't like the other girls, and she was pretty too...wait what? Well, it was true though...

Yue's P.O.V

I really wanted to go to one of the music rooms. I was considering staying for attendance then sneaking out, so I asked Ace what I should do via texting.

Yue: Yo Ace. I really wanna go to one of the music rooms. Should I just stay for attendance then ditch?

Ace: Sure, why the heck not? I'll cover for you if the teacher notices your not here.

Yue: Thanks dude! I owe ya one!

Now all I had to do was wait.

Ace's P.O.V

Now all I had to do was cover for my friend and while I was doing that I saw red cheeks say something to me "Hey I'm Kiba Inuzuka what's your name?" he asked in friendly tone "I'm Ace Rivera nice to meet you!" I said happily "OMG ACE YOU SHOULD'VE SAT NEXT TO ME!!!!!" said all those stupid fan boys and the one thing I hate is fan boys and when I looked at Kiba he was gritting his teeth and being kinda mad "Kiba you okay?" I asked him "I'm fine" he said still mad so I had nothing to do and the teacher came in giving a really boring lecture so I plugged my headphones in and listened to my favorite song

Yue's P.O.V

I managed to escape from class and walked to one of the music rooms. I turned in one of them and saw a grand piano. I went in and shut the door slightly, and sat at the piano. I ran my fingers over the keys, and began playing an old song.

???'s P.O.V

I was walking when I heard music from the piano room. The voice sounded unlike anything I'd ever heard before...so high yet beautiful. I peeked through the crack in the door and saw a purple haired girl. She was lost in the music. I wanted to listen more, but I had to leave before she noticed me. Who is she?

Later, no ones P.O.V

"P.E! I'm gonna blow this out of the water!"

"You blow everything out of the water Ace. Perfect Ace, perfect Ace~Ow!"

Yue anime cried at Ace as they stood in the gym. The two were standing with Naruto, Kiba, Sasuke, Temari, Sasuke, Tenten, Sakura, Ino, Gaara, basically the whole gang (they got introduced before). The gang laughed at Yue. "ALLLLLRIGHT MY YOUTHFUL ONES!" The P.E teacher ran in. "TODAY WE WILL BE DOING MORE TWO ON TWO RRRRACES! FIRST UP, ACE AND SASUKE!" Ace looked confused while Sasuke just smirked. "But we raced last time?" Ace questioned. "I know! It's a re-match! It was requested!" Ace gasped slightly and looked at Sasuke, who was still smirking. "I'll beat you again Duckbutt!" Sasuke sweatdroped while the others snickered quietly. "Wow Sasuke, even Ace sees you got Duckbutt hair!" Naruto laughed. Sasuke and Ace went to the racing line. "On your marks...get set...GOOOOOO!!!" Ace and Sasuke ran as fast as lightining from the start line and at first they seemed neck in neck. Then Ace began to pull ahead. And later on Ace won cause she is the best at running and winning "Told you I'd beat you again" said Ace while flipping her hair "Can we have a-" and right before Sasuke could finish his sentance Ace said "NO MORE REMATCHES!" and Sasuke smirked and said "Why are you scared that I'll beat you?" and Ace said "I could do this all day but you won't beat me" "ALRIGHT MY YOUTHFUL ONES ACE WAS THE WINNER AND NEXT UP IS YUE VS LEE" yelled the teacher "If you don't win I will kill you" Ace said "I will win!" Said Yue. Suddenly Lee appeared. "I'm sorry but I don't think you will!" He suddenly took off training weights. Yue smirked and took off some of her own. "YUE WHAT THE HECK WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE!?" Ace was shocked at her friend. She shrugged "If there's one sport I want to be good at, it's running!" Lee and Yue went to the starting line. "There's no way She can beat Lee" Ace turned and saw Sasuke smirking. "Just you wait duckbutt." "ON YOUR MARKS GET SET... GOOOOOOOOOO~" and right after he said that both runners ran like the flash. In a few seconds it was all over, stunning many students. But the best part was ....... YUE WON!!!!!!!! Ace was fangirling over Yue winning "Who says I can't win now!" yelled Yue and the rest of us just laughed and congratulated her.

Our two favourite girls met outside the school gates. Ace took one look at Yue and frowned slightly. 

"Um, Yue?"

"Yes?"

"What are you wearing on your neck?"

Yue looked down at herself. "Uhh, a necklace?" Ace sighed internally. "Umm, it...looks nice?" She said uncertainly. Yue smiled, not catching the drift. "Thanks! I made it myself." The pair then headed into the school, but for unknown reasons they were separated.

Yue walked through the halls towards her locker, knowing she'd most likely meet up with her friend there. She suddenly heard whispers and comments being thrown around about her. 

"Ew, what has she got on her neck?"

"She's a weirdo."

"She's always doing strange things in class."

"She always hangs out with that pretty girl, Ace. I don't know what she see's in her."

"Hey."

Yue's head snapped up. She saw a few girls and boys in front of her. A red haired girl she knew as one of Sasuke's fan girls spoke. "We don't allow freaks in the school." Yue scowled and pushed though the small crowd.

"Freak!"

"Weirdo!"

Yue hurried through the halls. Suddenly she heard another voice.

"Leave. Her. Alone."

Yue looked around as the students backed away in fear and left to do their own thing. She looked in pure shock at the boy that defended her. Red hair. Couple piercings. A cool kid by the looks of things. But he also looked...sad. This boy had piqued her interest.

"Why did you help Me?"

Gaara's P.O.V

It was that same girl that was in the piano room. She looked so surprised that I had helped her. Which I thought was weird. "You looked like you needed help, so I helped." She smiled shyly at me. "Thank you. What is your name?" It was my turn to be shocked. Did she know who I was? I didn't even know why I did even help her... Something about her just drew me to her. "I...am Gaara. Who are you?" "My name is Yue." Yue. Means moon. I want to find out more about this girl, but the the bell suddenly goes. "Meet me behind the building after school." I then walked off. What was I thinking?

No one's P.O.V

School had finished. Yue had told Ace about The mysterious boy called Gaara. Of course at the news, her friend instantly over reacted, at first happy, then worried, then excited. "Now remember, if there's trouble, call me, and-" Yue cut Ace off. "Dude, chill. Nothings gonna happen, no one would dare lay a finger on me." Ace tilted her head."True." The pair laughed. "See ya Ace!" "Bye Yue!" And the pair separated.

Yue's P.O.V

I walked behind the school and saw the familiar red head from today. He was waiting patiently with some ears buds in. I walked up to him. "Hey Gaara!" I waved a hand in front of his face. He quickly pulled his ear buds out and faced me, surprised. "Hi." was all he said. I cocked my head. "I want to ask you something." I looked at him curiously. "Why aren't you afraid of me?" I looked at him like he was stupid. "Why the hell would I be afraid of you? You helped me back in the halls. What kind of dumb question is that!?" He looked surprised, then he went to an emotionless expression. "So no one told you anything?" He said quietly. "I thought someone would." He then began walking away. "Hey, you can't just say that! What happened?" I grabbed his wrist. He looked back at me in anger. "You should just stay away from me." "No! I'm not going to be all stupid and judgemental until you tell me!" I spoke firmly, though on the inside I was nervous. "I won't leave you alone until you tell me." He turned to face me fully. He looked at me like I was...weird. Well, I didn't care. I would get the answer. "I killed my parents."

I blinked. He killed his parents. "How?" It was more of a demand then a question. He sighed. "I was thirteen...they were driving...I was playing with a ball...it rolled on the road...I ran out on the road...they swerved...and..." He paused. "Rumours spread. The true story got distorted, and people became afraid. Of me." I gasped. He looked away. "You afraid of me now aren't you?" That comment...made me mad. I hugged him. Yep, a weird thing to do when you're mad, but this boy needed someone to tell him that people care. He looked at me, shocked, surprised, and...relieved. "I'm not scared Gaara. You're one of the first not to see me as a freak. I don't need to be scared." I looked at him, smiling. "I have to go. But I'll be your friend Gaara. And others will be to." I then walked away, feeling his gaze on my back the whole time.

Ace's P.O.V

I was kinda worried about Yue since she didn't talk to me like half the day and I was all alone until I found Temari. "Heyy" said Temari "Hey" I waved her over 

"You look worried why is that?" Asked Temari, concerned.

"I don't know and I'm really bored wanna go outside for a bit?"

"Sure but not for long I have to go home pick up Kankuro then pick up Gaara"

I looked surprised "Wait you know Gaara?"

"Duhh he's my brother"

"Ohhh"

"Well okay then you should go home now I'll be fine" 

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure" I said with a smile "Okay then see ya!" she said giving me a hug "Bye!" I yelled as she went off.

I was walking on the streets and I found a huge empty park literally no one was there so I decided to go. I got on the swings and tried to push myself but I couldn't! Suddenly, I felt someone push me. I got kinda freaked out cause I thought it was a ghost or something then I turned around to see... Sasuke?! He was slightly pushing me and smirking "The look on your face" I huffed and turned around and we just chilled there for a while, my face heating up slightly. Oh geez am I blushing?

It was raining heavily.

It was pouring down in torrents, and even those with waterproof rain jackets were getting soaked. Lucky for Ace and Yue, they had proper rain coats. Unlucky for Ace and Yue, a certain red head and some fan boys were scheming. 

"Alright Karin, you've gathered us here for a reason. What is it?"

The fan boys and Karin were in an abandoned hallway. Karin had gathered them there because she had a plan. A very evil one (Insert maniacal laughter and lightning strikes here). 

"I want your help."

"To get Sasuke? Sorry but we-"

"This will also help you get Ace." 

This got the boys attention. "Alright Karin, lets hear it."

Karin smiled evilly. That was easy.

"Okay, so here it is. I can't get to Sasuke because he wants Ace. You can't get to Ace because both Sasuke and Yue are in the way. So this is what we do..." And on that really unnecessarily rainy day, a plot was hatched to destroy the bonds of childhood friends.

Later, when school has finished

Ace and Yue were walking together to their lockers, when ping! Ace's phone went. Ace picked up the phone and checked the update. And her heart very nearly stopped beating. Yue noticed her friend paling. "Ace, you okay?"

"Yue! How could you!?"

"Huh? But all I did was ask if you're okay!?"

Ace rolled her eye's. "Not that! This!" She shoved the phone in Yue's face.

Ace had tears in her eyes. "You sent it didn't you?"

Yue gasped. "NO! I would never! I would never say that about you Ace! Why the hell would I!? You've been my best friend ever since that bloody day!

"Oh, so who sent it then!? A ghost!?"

"NO! Yes! I don't know...an imposter, or someone with the same name as me!"

"You don't sound to sure!"

"Ace, none of that text is true anyway! I did nothing!" 

"WELL YOU'RE NOT VERY CONVINCING!"

"Ace-!"

A red mark appeared on Yue's cheek. She looked at her friend in shock. Ace had slapped her.

"DON'T YOU TRY TO CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE! YOU KNOW YOU'RE THE ONLY YUE DAMIGOU I KNOW! DO YOU THINK I'M STUPID!? I HAVE FEELINGS GODAMMIT DAMIGOU! I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO LIVE THROUGH YOU RUINING MY LIFE!" Tears were running down her friends face. "I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS!"

Tears had sprung to Yue's eyes. "YOU BAKA! DO YOU REALLY THINK I'D SINK TO SOMETHING SO FUCKING LOW!? HAVE I EVER BETRAYED YOU!? BACKSTABBED YOU!? HURT YOU!? NO! I WAS ALWAY THE ONE WHO WAS HURT, AND YOU WERE THE ONE THAT STUCK BY ME THROUGH THAT BLOODY SHIT! DO YOU REALLY THINK I'D THROW THAT ALL AWAY!? WE ARE FRIENDS!"

"WELL NOT ANYMORE!" 

Yue gasped. "W-what?"

Ace began to walk away. "Ace-" 

"Yue, I thought I could trust you. One minute we're like friends, next you take it away."

"Ace, I already said-"

"No, I don't want to hear it. What do you really think of me Damigou? I don't know anymore. And you know what? I don't need to know."

Ace had left. A tear escaped Yue's eye. 

"I think of you as the person who saved my life."

Flash back

A four year old Yue, sitting by a cliff. Her parents had just died in a fire. Her Dad threw her out the window of the burning house, while her mother screamed "I love you!" The roof collapsed as she landed on the ground, breaking her arm.

She sat alone. No one really wanted to have to take care of a four year old child, so she lived in an orphanage. There was only one thing she really did there.

Go to the cliff and sing.

She was singing now.

Suddenly a girl came and sat next to her.

"Hi I'm Ace. What's your name?"

"Yue."

"Yue. That means moon, right?"

She was uncertain on whether to trust this girl or not. But she looked nice, so she decided to trust her. 

"Yeah."

"Cool! Wanna be my friend?" 

Yue's eye's lit up. "Really?"

"Yeah! We'll be best friends til, and after we die!"

Yue grinned. She had something to live for. "Sure!" 

Flash back over

"Why Ace? I thought you said we'd be friends forever."

It had been several weeks since the girls fall out. Things were going... bad. Really bad.

The news traveled like wildfire around the school. Everyone was whispering and gossiping about the event. And of course, Ace and Yue were in hell.

Yue's P.O.V

I was spending more time alone. I was skipping classes I had with Ace. I was pushing everyone away, although I didn't have to try to hard anyway.

They were all worried about Ace.

They checked up on her constantly, especially Temari. Heck, even Sasuke was trying despite Karin. And Gaara was away from Konoha high. I was alone.

Why!? What made her so, so...perfect!? She's pretty, smart, athletic, funny, and kind. Why can't I be like her? To be worth caring about. I remember my dream. It's clearer than day.

To become worth something to someone, and become someone great. To be written in history books. That is my dream.

And for a while, that dream was achieved. I was a best friend to Ace.

But now she's gone.

And I'm back at square one.

So now I'm a geeky freak girl with no friends. 

"Ow!" 

I looked up and realised I had bumped into Naruto. He looked down and saw me.

"Oh hey Yue!"

That made me mad. He thinks he can ignore me and then pretend nothing happened!? 

"What happened between you and Ace?"

Oh. He's oblivious. Well I should've expected that.

"Why don't you ask Ace."

Then I left him.

Ace's P.O.V

My fan boys won't stop pestering me! The constantly ask me on dates, give stupid pick up lines, and give me no space! They really don't know what no means.

At least I have some of the others, especially Temari. I don't know what I'd do without them. They supported me through...that.

I still get those comments, and now I've begun to doubt myself. Everyone who sees them always say they aren't true, but...it's getting harder to believe them.

I wish those comments would just stop. They're killing me on the inside.

I still see Yue around. She's always by herself, and she always skips the classes I'm in.

Well I don't care.

But whenever I say that, a little bit of guilt comes. I just ignore it. 

And fight another day.

It was a beautiful day. The birds were singing, the sun was shining, and the perfect breeze blew across the Konoha high grounds. However, things weren't going so beautifully on the inside.

Ace and Sasuke were still getting pestered to death. Yue still walked around alone. And the Konoha 11 had given up on stitching the two back. It was getting harder every time they tried.

It was getting depressing watching them. Ace was getting no space, and Yue had to much. 

It was the end of the day. Yue was at her locker putting away her things, and Ace was being swarmed by Fan boys.

"Come on Ace, go on a date with me!"

Some of Yue's papers fell out of her locker.

"No Ace, don't go with that prick! Come with me!"

Yue sighed and picked them up.

"Ace, we could have such a romantic time!"

Yue looked at a small piece of card still on the ground.

"We could watch the moon together Ace! It's full tonight!"

Yue picked up an old Ace of hearts card off the ground.

Ace stopped walking.

Yue's breath hitched.

"We all need the moon in our lives."

"A pack of cards is without the Ace card is useless."

"YUE!!!"

"ACE!"

"I won't give up on us yet!"

Ace sprinted away from her fan boys leaving them confused. Yue shoved the rest of her stuff in her locker and slammed it shut. They kept running, until they saw each other at the opposite ends of a hallway.

"YUE!!!"

"ACE!"

They ran at each other and hugged.

"I'm sorry Yue! I knew it wasn't you! I was just being stupid! I'm sorry I wasn't there for you!"

"Ace I'm sorry for giving up!"

The girls held each other and cried. It was cheesy, but they were together again, and so they didn't really care.

Yue let go and held Ace by the shoulders.

"Ace."

"Yeah?"

"We are going to kill those fan boys and kick that imposters ass."

Ace laughed. "You bet. I'm sorry for giving up on our bonds to."

Yue smiled. "We're going to repair our bonds. And our bonds, they'll be like superglue, no, Stronger than Superglue!"

Ace grined. "You bet."

Ace took her friends arm. "Let's move on from all this."

Yue did a closed eye smile. "You bet."

Ace's P.O.V

It was about a quarter though the day. Once again, people were gossiping about me and Yue. But this time it was about how we made up, not how we fought.

We rooted out the impostor thanks to Yue's sleuthing skills and my leadership skills. We found my fan boys were the culprits, and they confessed to what they did. Yue beat the living shit out of them, which was kinda scary but they only came away with a few bruises. I couldn't believe it when they said Karin had put them up to it either! That little read headed cousin of Naruto's is going to pay... 

Later, still Ace's P.O.V

Karin got her reputation ruined thanks to us. It was now halfway through the day, and Yue and I were laughing and talking like we always did before the fight. Suddenly I bumped into Sasuke. "Oh-oh hey Sasuke!" I smiled brightly. He smiled slightly back. "Hey Ace." I frowned. "You know, you'd look better if you smiled fully. Here!" I poked the corners of his lips up so he was smiling properly. Yue grinned. "I'll leave you to it~" and she sauntered down the hallway. "Hey Sas-" "OW! YOU CRAZY WOMAN!" Sasuke and I face our attention in the direction of Yue who had just punched one of her bullies down. Sasuke and I both looked at each other and raised an eyebrow smiling. Suddenly the bell went. I grabbed Sasuke's hand. Next class was P.E and I so was not in the mood for that! "Hey Sasuke, can you skip class with me? I don't wanna do P.E." Sasuke smiled. "Sure." "Yay!" We walked out of the school grounds and walked to a near by field.

Really short time skip, still Ace's P.O.V

Sasuke and I were walking in a field. It was nice, peaceful, and isolated. Suddenly Sasuke stopped walking. I stopped and tilted my head. "Why'd ya stop Sasuke?" Sasuke smiled and faced me fully.

"I need to tell you something Ace."

I tilted my head, making me look cute without my realising. "What is it?"

He took a deep breath.

"I love you"

My breath hitched. Time seemed to stop. I love you kept ringing in my head. He loved me?! 

"W-why? There are so many other girls who are-"

"Better than you?" Sasuke cut me off. "To me, there's no one better than you."

"You really believe that Sasuke?"

"Ace, you are kind, beautiful, and unique. You also like me for who I am, and not for my looks. You're different to them. You like Me."

I blushed. Hard. "You're wrong Sasuke. I love you."

He stepped closer. "You do?"

I looked right into his eye's. "I've always felt something for you Sasuke."

He smirked. And kissed me.

I felt sparks flying. I melted into the kiss and wrapped my arms around his neck as he held onto my waist.

I've fallen for this boy.

And I wasn't letting him go.

Sasuke broke our kiss and put his forehead against mine.

"I really do love you Ace. Will you be my girlfriend?"

I laughed a little. "Well I'm not going to say no now am I?"

He whispered in my ear. "You're my Ace of hearts."

I smiled. He pulled back.

"We should go back."

I fake pouted. "I don't want to though."

He laughed. "I'll race you."

I immediately began running. "I WON'T LOSE TO YOU SASUKE UCHIHAAAAA!!!"

We laughed as we raced back to Konoha high.

Yue's P.O.V, rewind time a bit

I punched down the idiot that called me a slut in the hallway.

"OW! YOU CRAZY WOMAN!"

I leaned into his face, a menacing aura surrounding me. 

"You shut the fuck up about me. Bloody hypocrites, calling me a slut when you've slept with more people than I know."

The baka in the hallway turned red. I walked away smiling in triumph. I turned the corner and crashed into a familiar red head. 

"Oh? Oh hey Gaara!"

He smiled. "Hi Yue."

"Hey, wanna go to the music room?"

"Sure."

I grinned and pulled him with me to one of the larger music rooms. I sat in one of the chairs. 

"Do you play anything Gaara?"

He looked at me. 

"I play the the guitar."

"Can you play something?"

No one's P.O.V

Gaara froze. Play something? 

"I-uh, okay."

He took a guitar and strummed it. He then began playing and singing. Yue listened, spellbound.

Yue sat amazed. His voice, the guitar... it was beautiful.

Gaara looked at Yue and saw her expression. Amazed, impressed, stunned, spellbound... it all lay there.

"Yue."

"Yeah?"

"Did you like the song?"

Gaara smiled.
