Dean gets hit with a love spell during a case and looks at Cas first trope except him and Cas are already together, so Cas and Sam assume nothings gonna change. And nothing really does, except that Dean now openly holds Cas's hand when their out walking around and he holds onto Cas's waist from behind when their just standing and he lets Cas scratch and play with his hair without pulling away from embarrassment and worst of all is the kissing!

Sam will be explaining what they should do next to catch the monster and when he looks up he sees Dean staring softly at Cas and Cas staring softly back which is fine, that's what they do, they stare, so Sam turns away. But when he looks back for the second time he sees Dean start peppering little smooches all over the angels face, just quick kisses on his nose and cheeks and forehead and neck too, all while they both smile dumbly, which is also fine, its not like Sam hasn't seen this before, they were exactly like this in their honeymoon phase at the beginning of their relationship, so he turns away again trying to focus but then he has a question to ask Cas and he turns and- HOLY SHIT THEY'RE MAKING OUT! RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM THEY'RE USING TONGUE AND CAS'S HANDS ARE AROUND DEAN'S WAIST AND HIS HANDS ARE HIS CAS'S HAIR AND THEIR MOANING AND SAM NEEDS TO BEAT THEM OVER THE HEAD WITH A STICK-

Hi sorry to bother you but I just wanted to say that as an autistic person Starstruck makes me want to cry. I love her so much let her live the happy life she deserves with people that accept and care about her. That “otherness” or feeling of being “incorrect” and being seen as suspicious/ostracized for it was absolutely NAILED and it HURTS SO GOOD. I just really wanted you to know that. It’s nice to see someone like me in media, especially in something like the Kirby franchise. Thank you.

this was intentional autistic representation by an autistic creator and i am over the moon that it's connecting with you! her inability to "have the right magical signature" and her "mimicry of the signatures around her in attempt to fit in" is explicitly a (rather ham-fisted, if i'm being honest) autistic parallel, especially towards masking.

there are obviously parts of her story that aren't explicitly parallel (she is still a little alien after all, and there's going to be Fun Dramatic Aspects that my real life autistic experience sadly lacks), but for what it's worth i'm really happy that this purposeful allegory was noticed!

i'm going to be real with you guys for a moment. i don't think i'll continue following bsd much after this point

#i take back what i said about being excited for what's to come. i mean i am. in a very general impersonal way.#but the way the series is going. if the ending of the anime is going to be followed by the manga in a similar direction #is just very different from the silly armed detective agency vs port mafia authors with superpowers slightly high-stakes slice of life #that i originally signed up for. i've felt this way the whole decay of angels arc and just stuck around to see what happens #and because i care about the characters. bsd was always a character-focused manga for me #but the direction it seems to be taking is this massive epic entire-world-at-stake military scifi drama #where super epic power-up style ability weapons (and one-off overpowered nameless ability users are introduced and killed off in the same #scene. like the time manipulation catgirl) take the forefront at the expense of actual character focus and character development #like why are most of the (original) cast completely unaccounted for in what was meant to be a satisfying ending.#did asagiri forget that atsushi is the main character. why did tachihara's and sigma's arcs get cut short like that.#and frankly i feel like bsd started to take this direction from storm bringer onwards. the focus and scope of it is very different #to for example the untold origins or dazai's entrance exam or even 55 minutes. but if i were to theorise i would say that the scope of #the current direction of bsd must have started germinating during the 55 minutes light novel. if you can see what i mean #anyway more importantly i find that the tone is now entirely different from early bsd. it's just not the series that i fell in love with #so i think it's best that i stop here before letting it turn sour like jujutsu kaisen is to me now.#i have the manga (and anime) that i can reread (rewatch) up to the perfect crime arc whenever i want #i can reread the sskk fight of volume 20 whenever i want. i can revisit sigma and nikolai's chapters. there's wan. there's the light novels #and there's the wonderful fanfics and fanart and so many metas to read. that's what brings me joy more than the series itself nowadays.#that's all. end of era i guess. to an extent

by gods, for all that i fucking hated the second half of season 9 and had been hating Fiona's characterization since season 5 basically, her leaving doesn't get easier even if you watch the scenes 50 fucking times

#Shameless did Fiona dirty not gonna lie #her characterization progressively getting worse through the season only hurts second to what the show made out of Lip #Ian Gallagher truly the only character to have escaped Paul Abbott's characterization relatively unscathed and staying dear and lovable #till the very last minute #but also i did start on S10 and #popular opinion: Debbie is so fucking annoying and irritating #and a whole entire sack of absolutely irrelevant and nonsensical character traits. season 1 debbie would've roasted s10 debbie on open fire #possibly not so popular opinion: Paul Abbott is actually fucking bad at writing female characters with the exception of V and V ONLY #(okay Mandy too)#and the reason Debbie is fucking abhorrent is because she's literally written as later-seasons Fiona. She's her.#they were both fucked characterizations #it's just that Fiona had a bite and entered into games from the top spot; she took control of the situations naturally #because she //had// power. And Debbie has none. so she looks desperate and try-hard. Emmy Rossum brought a bitch flavour to Fiona #that Emma Kenney just can't bring to Debbie #¯\_(ツ)_/¯#not that i care. the entirety of Shameless cast have more or less become absolete in narrative and plot save Kev and V and Ian/Mickey #I hope Cameron Monaghan's health insurance covered for the fucked up back he got #from carrying Shameless US' only substantial and heartfelt and meaningful plotline for 12 years basically #Lip used to be wonderful. Hell; they all used to be wonderful. and by the time we get to S10 there's basically nothing left of the show #save Ian and Mickey. that's it.

actually on the topic of nightmares!!! i wonder if anyone in the cast has had nightmares related to the phantom ruby. that war lasted like six months after all!

Heh, I personally do feel that making the war last literally half a year was just far too long. It's quite a significant chunk of time for many characters... yet absolutely nobody is affected by it. Not physically, not mentally, not emotionally. And of course I understand this is a Sonic game and they're not gonna shown everyone gravely injured and with PTSD, but with six months I truly would have expected some consequences on the cast. If it had only been one or two months or so, it would have been easier for me to suspend my disbelief on this topic, I feel.

Regardless, to answer your question, it does make sense to me that characters would indeed have nightmares. Infinite killed like four or five people right in front of the Avatar, Eggman's Death Egg is filled with captured people and he is heavily implied to have murdered captives, Tails saw Sonic "die" before his eyes(?), the Resistance at the end of those six months was reduced to almost nothing... and then lost 80% of their forces in Operation Big Wave on top. And then they all nearly got scorched alive in the fake fun. It gives enough grounds for nightmares, also considering how absolutely insane Infinite's power is with the Ruby. So I would not be surprised if the cast is in some way affected by it and needs time to mentally recover from the events of the game; it's just not shown or indicated to us, basically.

#I have somewhat conflicted feelings on Forces #on the one hand I do quite like the game and gameplay and I love Infinite as a villain and I don't hate the plot at all #but on the other hand... I do feel that the execution is lacking‚ so to say #they wanted it to be very grandiose but couldn't deliver there because that is not how Sonic games really *work*‚ perchance?#in the games characters 99% of the time are not affected by what happens to them and especially not on a longer time span #but with a *six month* war it feels *impossible* to me that they are not affected by their circumstances #so then the entire world gets basically destroyed/terraformed towards Eggman's interests... and yet it will never show up again #and everyone honestly just shrugs it off like it never even happened #it's definitely a strength of Sonic characters that they *can* do that and I find it inspiring #and my disbelief luckily does not take away from my enjoyment of the game #but... yeah‚ haha. It's a situation where they could not have won anyway: the earlier plot drafts are glued together by narm galore instead #and those definitely tried to be more serious about it all #hmm... it makes me wonder how 'far you can go' to make an epic story wherein you still can expect the cast to not be affected so much #but I would say Sonic being captured for 6 months while Eggman destroys the planet and murders/captures the populace throughout is too far-#-considering the complete lack of engagement with those rather heavy/serious points and the timespan they took place in #but regardless this is a very incomprehensible ramble about my thoughts on Forces haha
