Chris was sitting at the kitchen table, sipping idly on a capri sun and scrolling away on his phone. He was blissfully unaware of his surroundings, he didn’t even hear the sound of your footsteps approaching.
Chris looks up when he hears your voice.
“Hey guys, can you watch my boyfriend for me, please? I’ll be back quick, I promise, I just need to go and grab something.
Chris watches you say, smiling at your phone camera, propping it up against the vase of tulips. He looks up at you confused, but you just place a kiss in his hair and smile once more at the camera before leaving the kitchen.
“Uhm,” Chris mumbles out, looking confusedly at the camera.
His confusion only lasts a moment though before he starts speaking. “So I was up late last night, and I stumbled upon this video about analog horror and liminal spaces and the backrooms and such. And then I found this one guys youtube channel and I’ve been binging his videos since like three am. Dude, the backrooms are fucking freaky. I just know they would make Nick paranoid as fuck, so I definitely have to show them to him,” he says with a laugh.
He reaches for his capri sun. “Oh! I’ve been on such a capri sun kick for the past like week. Pepsi is still my number one though,” he says, making a heart with his hands.
“Hey, how do people make the heart with their fingers? Y/N can do it, and she’s tried teaching me, but I just can’t seem to get it!” Chris huffs out, attempting to make a heart with his fingers. He stares down at them trying to bend them into the shape he’s seen you do multiple times.
He lets out a huff, looking back up at the camera, and letting his hands fall onto the table. “See, I just can’t seem to get it!”
“Oh! Oh! We went out to eat yesterday for dinner, and,” Chris cuts himself off with a little giggle, “and we witnessed this guy scrape all the toppings off his pizza and then stack the pieces up on the tray. I’ve never in my twenty years seen someone do that!”
Chris looks up when hears you approaching.
You lean over his shoulder. “Hey, I’m back, thanks for watching him guys. I hope he wasn’t too much trouble.”
Chris looks up at you offended by this statement, but you just smile down at him, and place a hand in his hair, reaching with the other to end your recording.

“I’m very sorry, but all rooms are booked for the night so there is nothing I can do for you other then give you the card to the room we booked for you.” The receptionist says to you, looking at you with a sympathetic look. You’ve been trying to bargain with her for the past 15 minutes, telling her you booked a totally different room but the hotel was full since it was summer and most people are on holiday at this time. You sigh, rubbing the sleep from your eyes and take the key card, thanking her quietly before grabbing your suitcase and leaving. Joost trailed quietly behind you, letting you cool down since you were a bit upset from the situation. Anyone would be since you were tired from performing all day and couldn’t wait to have some tine for yourself but the hotel just had to mess something up. You didn’t try and cause a scene, it was mostly just going back and forth trying to find a solution but without success.
You walked down the hall, dragging your luggage with you and open the door, setting your stuff down and grabbing important stuff before running off to the bathroom. Meanwhile Joost looked around the room. It had a lot of space, the balcony giving you a great view of Frankfurt, the place you performed tonight. He lit a cigarette and snapped a quick photo before putting his phone away and admiring the view. He watched the cars pass by, music softly playing somewhere across the street and laughing could be heard just a few streets away. He threw the cigarette away, walking back into the warm atmosphere of the hotel. You were already done with getting yourself ready for the bed, laying down on your stomach and watching something on your laptop. You edited some footage your crew took from the concert and tried to get as much done as possible before deciding to watch a movie. You put on a random shitty comedy movie, getting comfortable under the covers. You were on the side of the bed where the nightstand was, leaving Joost to sleep on the side near the wall. You heard him get out the bathroom and feel the bed sink, a strong smell of some random shampoo hitting you like a truck. You got some butterflies in your stomach, trying to focus on the movie.
You were half asleep at around 2:29 AM, yawning and putting on a different movie. You closed your eyes, Joost already asleep and snoring softly. He was the type to always toss and turn in his sleep, but tonight he was suspiciously still. You were falling in and out of consciousness, seconds feeling like hours when you suddenly feel him moving around. He put a hand on your waist, a quiet yelp escaping your mouth. He pulled you a bit closer, his back only a few inched away from you. Sighing, you accept your fate and try to fall asleep, succeeding just after a few seconds.
In the morning, you felt trapped. You couldn’t move, eyes shooting open. You were faced with someone’s chest.. Joosts chest. Your face felt hot but you chose to ignore it, admiring his morning features. You didn’t dare move, knowing Joost wasn’t really the biggest fan of mornings, practically having to drag him out of bed every time you were on tour. The next concert was next week in Switzerland, then two days after that concert you were going to Italy. You were excited, always having the dream to travel the world someday which was finally becoming a reality. You shiver slightly, standing up to grab a hoodie from your suitcase and skin care, sitting down and grab a small mirror you brought so you could get ready. After finishing, you put your hair in a hairstyle you thought would fit your outfit for the day. Standing up you go on the balcony, getting some fresh air. You let your mind wander, thinking about all kinds of things before feeling a pressence beside you. Of course it was Joost, who else would it be? He stood there besidde you quietly, coffee in hand and handing you your usual. You thank him quietly, letting the warm drink heat your hands up.
It was a comfortable silence, something you usually had on mornings like these before Joost spoke up. “Slept well?” You look in his direction and nod, siping on your drink.He also nodded, the soft and comfortable atmosphere turning tense. He cleared his throat, trying his best to come up with a topic which wasn’t usually this hard for him, so why was it now? “Are you.. okay? Were you uncomfortable?” He asks, his tone being more worried then anything.
You shook your head, finally sparing him a glance. “It felt nice.” You say, awkwardly and he just nods, letting the silence engulf you once more. You went inside, mentally slapping yourself for being so awkward around your best friend. You get changed and decide to go look around Frankfurt. You and Joost talked like nothing ever happened, leaving the morning incident behind. You went inside a museum you found interesting, paying for everything and going inside to explore. It was nice, a lot of things took your interest but Joost seemed like he was in his own world, just walking around and looking dazed. Once you decided it was time to head back, you made your way to the hotel once more. You met a few fans, most of them being thirsty for Joost anyway but finally you got to your destination. Joost looked pretty annoyed about something, sparing you a few glances and pouts. You sat down next to him on the bed, deciding to get the information out of him. “What’s wrong?” You ask, making him chuckle. “Being blunt, are we?” You shrug and raise a brow, your leg bouncing impatiently. “Joost, what’s bothering you hm? You haven’t started a random topic for 15 minutes. Which is very unlike you might I add.” He stares at you dumbfounded but shakes his head. He shrugs and looks like he is trying to find the right words to explain his sour mood. “Well, last night..” He starts and you mentally curse. You really were hoping this wasn’t mentioned but it had to be at some point.
“I liked.. what happened and I’m pretty sure you did too because you would’ve spoken up about it, I know you enough to know you speak up about things when you’re uncomfortable with something.” He starts and you try your best to not break eye contact with him, letting him speak his mind. “I didn’t only like that, I like you and have for almost a year and I thought we could.. try?” You smirk, deciding to tease him; “Try..?” You smile and he looks at you with a ‘really?’ face. “You want me to spell it out for you? The rest of the night was just you two making fun of the situation and what convinced Joost to confess. It really was funny that one bed made you get together with the most amazing person on earth.

You heard Kane chuckle as you walked into the lounge where Kane was sitting on the ground with your youngest boys. Shoyo, watched with bright green eyes, his little six year old imagination running wild, while Koda sat on Kane's lap trying to see something that was in Kane's lap.
"Okay, okay." He laughed. Kane smiled, a gentle one that he started to show more and more as he lived with you. You saw him open his hands, soft in their design. And after a second, tiny little pops and fireworks went off in his hand.
Koda let out loud giggle at the sparks as he looked at Kane's hand. Shoyo leaned forward, watching the sparks fly just in the palm of his hands, soft orange little explosions that made Kane's hand warm.
Shoyo let out a coo. "That's so cool!"
"Boom!" Koda made a gesture with his hands like Kane with his sparks. He tried imitating the small little explosion sound.
Kane likes to help you with the little ones a lot. They were too precious for words and maybe in some way shape or form, Kane saw it as healing the little boy in him too. He especially liked Koda. Koda liked warm things, he hated being cold, and Kane was now the next warmest thing in the house other than you and Izuku.
So it wouldn't be strange to see Kane holding Koda as he walked around the house doing whatever he needed to do. Considering Kane was not much of the type of kid to always want to leave the house, he could spend a lot of time with Koda who was always at home.
Kane even learnt from you and Izuku how to help give Koda his medication. Kane felt it unfair that someone so small, only four years old, needed to take dozens of them to keep his immune system up and to help hopefully one day get him a transplant. Until then, Koda had a whole lot of things to take and only could tolerate so many at once.
Often than not when you would try finding Koda in his room to give him medications you'd see him playing a soft music from his phone that Koda seemed to like by the way he would move his head side to side.
"Was mommy teaching you dinosaurs?" Kane asked as he took the syringe and took a measure out of the glass bottle. He lifted up the injection, tapping the body of the syringe, making sure there was no bubbles.
Koda nodded his head excitedly with a smile. "She said that they lived many years ago! Before chickens!"
"Wow! Really?" Kane asked as he walked over to Koda's bed. He moved over to the IV next to his bed that had stickers on it. He stuck the needle into the bag, pushing in the medication.
Koda nodded his head as he kicked his little legs. The IV going into his little arm as he sat in his bed. " Yah! And there was this big one with small arms."
Kane hummed as he took back the needle and moved back to the counter on the otherside of the room, moving to sort through medications. He put down the syringe with a needle, moving to put it into the yellow bin on the wall that would have it sterilised. He got out a plastic kids syringe and took out the edible medication. "Did mommy call it a T-Rex?" He asked softly.
Koda's eyes widened. "Yah! You so smart big brother!" He exclaimed making Kane chuckle as he took out some purple medication into the kids syringe and walked over to Koda, crouching down. "How did it got so big?" Koda asked with a small thumb to his chin.
Kane smiled over at him, crimson eyes soft and gentle. "They took all their medications so that they could be the biggest and strongest dinosaurs." He encouraged, handing over the syringe to Koda.
Koda hummed as he looked down at it. He put it to his mouth and pushed at the back of it. He let go of the syringe making his face scrunch up in disgust. Kane motioned for him to swallow. Koda seemed hesitant but did it. He stuck out his tongue in disgust, making Kane do the same thing. Koda giggled.
A lot of the time whenever you had guests over at your house, you were very strict when it came to who making sure they abided by the health rules of your home by washing hands and being clean and no one could be over if they were sick. And if one of you were sick, it meant strict room arrest.
You just never wanted to infect Koda. However, for precautionary measures, Koda stayed in his room regardless when there were guests over unless it was a big event and even there, you were all careful with him. However, Kane would often disappear to Koda's room to spend time with the little four year old who was often napping anyways and if not was with Shoyo.
Kane wasn't just Kane. He was big brother Kane now, and he took his job, very seriously.

ASK COMPILATION ABOUT THE WEIRD DROW
Replying to a couple of shorter questions! Sorry that I can't get to all of you lest this blog just turns into a stream of constant asks, but I read all of your messages and to be honest there are several that I'm saving to draw something for 😭 alas there are only so many hours in a day.

He takes fairly good care of things he considers important or useful - otherwise he's pretty messy or at least indifferent to mess. Definitely a "leaves the wet towel on the bed" guy LOL
Okay so I was bad and not used to DnD mechanics or spells the first time I played the game, so I RARELY ever cast Speak With Animals and had very little sense of their personality during his campaign - BUT THERE WAS THIS ONE TIME WHEN I DID.
THERE WAS ONE TIME WHERE I REMEMBERED.
AND IT WAS PERFECT.
He adores and most of all respects this intense little guy with his whole heart.

Serious answer: he respects wild animals far too much to try and make one into a pet.
Non-serious but still true answer: He would never do that and have to deal with Astarion's incessant Drizzt Do'urden joke comparisons for the rest of his existence. That's that man's personal hell.
He's fairly adaptable! But as far as dynamics go, he does lean bottom regardless of who he's with in bed, but this doesn't necessarily translate into always being on the receptive end of things.
If he were to be with a cisgender woman who doesn't wear a strap like its a second pair of briefs, he would be more than happy to be the pitcher the majority of the time. I think the only scenario where he would be dissatisfied is a restrictive one - he couldn't be with someone who doesn't want to enjoy his whole body in earnest, or who can't flip the roles every once in a while. Also, you have to be a little gross. He has probably caught Astarion off-guard with the things he did on a whim/suggested they do more than once. All in all, as long as whoever he's with is versatile and not a prude, they could probably make it work.
He killed Minthara in her lair and all he got was a bear out of it. Good thing killing her was it's own reward!
MAN... Could just be that his story is far too concrete in my brain already, but it's hard for me to see that working. They are both far too out of touch with their emotions and quiet in their demeanor for me to envision a durable romance sparking. Also, DU drow (who has no clue how old he is himself) thinks of Shadowheart as being far too young for him.
There is a mutual understanding between them that there is a barrier that neither of them is willing to let the other get past - and because that is something they both share, they won't, and they might never try. They work so well as friends because of their similarities, but in a relationship I think that would be to their detriment.
Also, I think silver-haired Shadowheart's wants and needs for her future far diverge from DU drow's chaotic lifestyle, ultimately It's probably best for them to make their own paths.
HAHAHAHA LISTEN.... YOU'RE TALKING AS IF THOSE TWO THINGS DON'T GO TOGETHER PERFECTLY WELL BUT IN MY MIND THEY ARE ONE AND THE SAME.
The thing about DU drow is that he might be a bottom, but he's a very... Uh, engaged bottom. He can be as dominant with a dick in his ass as he can be submissive depending on how it jives with his partner- and he's gonna spew some nonsense either way LOL

He did it himself during a dinner Gortash invited him to. At the table. With a meat knife. He was trying to prove a really stupid point/put Gortash off of him.

He doesn't think anything of it now - it's so far in the past and DU drow obviously isn't the judgemental type when it comes to sordid individuals LOL
As a person, however, Astarion likely wasn't the kind of guy that he would have gotten along with, and vice-versa. Sounds to me like he was pretty poshy and did all his misdeeds under the table - DU drow wouldn't have strong feelings about it from an ethical standpoint, but he wouldn't respect it either. Also, DU drow's is practically anarchistic in his political views - soooooo not much room there to be in love with politicians. I'm sure pre-vampirism Astarion would have less than favorable opinions about him as well so the feeling would have been mutual LOL.
ABSOLUTELY NOT HE NEEDS BOTH EYES TO CUT THROUGH FOES he will gladly put Gale on the slab to see what happens though LMAO

Boothill finds you adorable when he sees you interact with cats - and likewise, cats swarming you as if you were their master. While Boothill doesn't necessarily share the same amount of fondness for them, he doesn't mind having them around at all.
That being said, the cowboy can't help but let out a soft "aww," whenever he notices you playing with your cats or strays. He also spends way too much time watching your cat sleep in it's most comfortable position, that also tends to be the cutest.
He might get a little bit jealous if you spend too much time with your cat, when he's some after yet another escapade, obviously mostly in a way that's not too serious - but he'll sit there, pouting, and pretending not to look at you (but sparing you too many glances to let you notice he wants you to notice).
As long as the cats won't try to kill him, you're encouraged to have a house full of them. If - in rare situations - you're the one being away from home, it's Boothill who sends you multiple pictures of your cats daily. Messages like, "Today, that little motherfudger tried to bite my finger off. But it's okay, I still love her!" or "He's such an angel. Spent all his day layin' on my chest and purrin' in ma ear. Deserves a promotion in my eyes, babe." With a picture of your cats attached as well.

The glowing warmth of the orange sun hid behind the tall trees, golden rays painting her face as she sped down the street.
Sza's "Julia" was blasting through her speakers as she pulled up to the triplet's house, music cutting off abruptly as she cut the ignition and exited the black jeep.
She sucked in a final hit of her joint, snuffing out the half-smoked spliff against her car and tucking it behind her ear.
With a final tug on her black miniskirt and one last readjustment of the straps of her thong, she strutted her way up to their front door, not bothering to knock.
climbing up the stairs, the sight of Chris sitting on the couch, legs spread wide welcomed her. Matt was sitting a few feet to his right, scrolling on his phone. Everyone else was scattered around their living room, holding separate conversations as music played lowly in the background.
"Ayy, y/n! c'mere" a very blasted Chris exclaimed, patting the plush material of the cream couch next to him.
Matt's head shot up at the mention of her name, eyes fixating on her scantily dressed figure as she sat right next to Chris, leaving barely any space between the two of them. His brow quirked.
"Hey Matt!" she said, looking at him up and down. His jeans sat low on his hips, his muscle tee riding up just enough to show off the band of his Calvin Klein boxers.
He held up a peace sign, a silver ring wrapped around his pointer and pinky finger--he shot her a flirty smirk.
She blinked at him slowly, expecting more of a greeting.
Rolling her eyes, she brought her knees up on the couch, resting them against Chris and looking into his eyes.
He started to ramble, sativa taking control of his senses.
"Y'know we were all waiting for you to get here. Matt especially. He kept asking if his outfit was good enough--and his hair, he messed with his hair way too fucking much."
Chris grabbed a small strand of her silky hair, toying with it absentmindedly as he spoke with a raspy voice, close enough for his warm breath to raise the hairs on her neck.
"Yeah? Well he doesn't seem to be interested now." She giggled, brushing a lock of his hair out of his face.
"Well, that's ‘cause he wants to seem all tough. Don't tell him I told you but he's just a big pussy." He said in a hushed tone, pulling a smile from her lips.
Y/n couldn't deny Chris' charming and dorky personality--if she were anyone else, she was sure she would be chasing after him rather than sitting on his couch leading him on.
Matt, however, could have her chasing for miles. Everything he did seemed so intentional and suave; he was always calm and collected--he felt like a refreshing soda after a day at the beach.
Suddenly, Chris focused on the joint sitting behind her ear.
He stopped tugging on her hair to slither his hand behind her neck, fingers brushing her skin and creating goosebumps. He grabbed the rolled paper between two fingers, looking at it with heavy eyes and a smile.
"Thank you, weed gods" He cheered, searching for a lighter.
Y/n reached into her bra, pulling out a bedazzled lighter. Chris placed the lipstick-stained paper in between his lips, gazing up at y/n with hot cheeks as she brought the lighter up to the end, igniting the paper.
