I love me some folksy music that makes me feel like im watching seven year old me sitting under the magnolia tree in my grandmothers woods, collecting little flowers and berries and turning them into the most delectable soup ever created. Music that makes me feel like a misty morning when i was woken up by a mourning dove and im sipping on sweet tea. Music that makes me feel understood and safe.
I’m from Texas and so is my one shifting friend. She was telling me about something that happened in one of her drs that made her script something into ALL of her drs. My friend, Thursday, had shifted to her Twilight dr, which is based in Washington, and she was telling me that she went to a McDonalds one day to get some food and ordered a sweet tea to drink. The girl taking her order told her that they didn’t have sweet tea. That’s when Thursday remembered that she had shifted to WASHINGTON, she wasn’t in the south anymore. She then said that she came back to her or and immediately scripted, into ALL of her drs, that sweet tea was available in any dr she shifts to.
I have since then scripted it into everyone of my drs 💀💀
My spouse isn’t on Tumblr so I can show this suncatcher off before tomorrow! I still need a A LOT of soldering practice but I think I nailed their request! I now have what feels like a yard of dimpled yellow glass so I guess lemon pieces will follow over time. Not sure what else it’s perfect for!
The original three of @scoutandcowpany 's Moos!!! Sweet Tea, Lemoncita and Beasley!!!
Thank you Scout for sharing your Moos!!! I really enjoy seeing pictures of them and hearing all about the antics that they (and your ferrets and cats) get up to lol!!!
Hope I got the details right (I think this is the first time drawing bovines, tend to stick to equines with large animals) and if you'd like each on separate, different colour background and/or without the text let me know!!!
[Picture ID: Coloured and shaded digital drawing of 3 black and white cattle portraits on a purple grey background with the text 'The Original Trio' written above.
The steer on the left has the text 'Stink Man' and 'Beasley' written next to him. He has a black face with a white blaze down the middle.
The cow in the middle has the text 'The matriarch' and 'Sweet Tea' written next to her. She has a black face with 2 white triangles, the one at the top of her head has the point facing down and the point faces up on the one on the bottom.
The cow on the right has the text 'Angel Baby' and 'Lemoncita' written around her. She has a black face with a small white dot on her forehead and chin.]
As a southern kitchen witch, my favorite protection spell would have to be a making sweet tea. It can also be used as a hospitality spell. So I'm gonna share the recipe for the perfect southern sweet tea!
4-5 black tea bags (I like Luiziane) (protection, energy)
Sun water or plain water
* Place tea bags into a kettle or pot or whatever it is you use to make tea with enough water to cover the tea bags (you want this strong)
* let boil for a few minutes careful not to spill over.
* place your sugar into the gallon pitcher and pour the hot tea on top of it making sure to dissolve all the sugar (this is the part where you can stir in your intentions)
* fill the pitcher the rest of the way up with cold water and place in the fridge to cool for a few hours
