I made some linoprint patches showing the "space dogs" laika, belka, and strelka! you can buy them on etsy here :) 🐶🚀
(oh and theyre made using upcycled fabric! so more eco friendly)
[ID: white and grey fabric patches showing the faces of laika, belka, and strelka in a vertical line. their names are written in cyrillic above them. there are also some five pointed stars around them. the print uses black ink. end ID]

Strelka (he/they) is an OC I’ve been working on alongside a lot of Void/13th hcs since before the 6.x patches. Strelka is a shard of Elyssia / Darjhalis and is devoted to their companion Leda (a shard of Quinnen / Arided). They were separated from Leda due to tragic circumstances and are intent on returning to her side no matter the cost or consequences. They are not very powerful and lean more into stealth and are ashamed of their hunger when it causes them to partially transform into a more beast-like figure. They’re also difficult to deal with and stubborn to a fault unless with Leda when they’re more docile and at ease.

Fully anthro version of the astronaut/cosmonaut character Strelka, as she appears in my anthro universe. She is originally from the Russian cartoon show "Belka i Strelka: Tayna Kosmosa". The show is based in the near future of the real world, on a lunar base; in my anthro world & my fics the world is different (in both history and geography, because an anthro/furry world would not have had the same history & all as ours). The flag on her astronaut/cosmonaut crew suit is of the fictional country Sovikotia she is from in my world. There is one overarching joint global space agency called MSEC, or Mammalian Space Exploration Consortium.
Story with her can be read here (additional chapters are coming soon, I promise) - https://archiveofourown.org/works/44477263/chapters/111872482

In regards to your tags on the Strelka post; Belka and Strelka were both returned to earth alive, as their capsule had been designed with a reentry system (as they were working up to fly humans in space). Strelka mated and gave birth to a litter of puppies after returning home, affectionately dubbed "the Pupniks".
oh thank goodness. so glad they came back alive and got a family :D
