current aesthetic: ace combat but as period-accurate TV graphics
like imagine it's 6 June 1995 and you have some time to relax before the kids come home from school and suddenly the emergency broadcast system activates in the middle of the daytime soaps and it's NOT A TEST

I made some linoprint patches showing the "space dogs" laika, belka, and strelka! you can buy them on etsy here :) 🐶🚀
(oh and theyre made using upcycled fabric! so more eco friendly)
[ID: white and grey fabric patches showing the faces of laika, belka, and strelka in a vertical line. their names are written in cyrillic above them. there are also some five pointed stars around them. the print uses black ink. end ID]

In regards to your tags on the Strelka post; Belka and Strelka were both returned to earth alive, as their capsule had been designed with a reentry system (as they were working up to fly humans in space). Strelka mated and gave birth to a litter of puppies after returning home, affectionately dubbed "the Pupniks".
oh thank goodness. so glad they came back alive and got a family :D
