Something fucking weird happened to me yesterday. A few fucking weird somethings in fact.

I was at a premiere party for a local comedian's special, maybe like 25-30 people in a little art commune backyard space, kinda place with a bunch of art sculptures and free ranging cats and a fun vibey vibe.

This comedian is one of those kinda 'i'm not a terf i just think maybe trans people could tone it down a little' lesbians who i first met through a trans comic friend (who no longer speaks with this comedian over some apparently terfy views) so i'm kinda already on red alert. But there's a few other trans girls there and generally I don't think this comedian is like hateful or even terfy i think she's just kinda catring to a certain demographic of queer people that aren't as progressive or whatever.

not my particular FAVORITE crowd of people or ideology but I'm interested in hearing and hanging out with reasonable people whose views are different than mine, assuming they are pleasant and not disrespectful, yknow, so i went into the party with an open mind.

i was being a social lil butterfly as i'm wont to do and i met this big burly beardy kinda guy, he seems chill, nice enough. Later in the party after a bit of weed and drinks have been slung, he comes up to me and asks if I can help him get some drugs. He asks if I have any Clomid. I haven't ever heard of it, I look it up and he explains it's a fertility drug for cis or trans women, he described it as an estrogen blocker and i guess it makes ovaries OR testicles more fertile if a trans woman has undergone HRT, I guess.

I'm a little dumbfounded and trying to figure out what the hell is going on, why this random dude is asking me for meds i know nothing about, and i'm desperately trying to figure out the context of this request. I'm making him a little uncomfortable with my questions, trying to figure out if this is a trans man, closeted trans woman, detransitioned trans woman, or i dont even know what, and i ask for a little bit of clarity.

he offers up, "well... i was a boy who got raped and spent some time where i thought i was a woman but now i'm on testosterone again and trying to have a baby" and i'm like... okay detransitioned trans woman i guess, and i'm like yeah sorry i have no idea if i can find anyone who could get these meds for you. I asked him why he was asking me and he said "[comedian's name but ALSO his partner's name, so i don't know which person he's referring to] said you were a safe person to talk to about this. Conversation basically ended there and i walked away from it thinking it was extremely strange, not knowing how to process any of what just happened.

Then later i meet another person who's detransitioned, she was 'being a guy' for a while then kinda ended up not resonating with it and is presenting femme again.

the party just kinda started closing in on me at that point, just started feeling like more people there might be detrans, is this the audience of people, is this the vibe of the party, did the comedian mean something else when i made a joke earlier to her along the lines of "yeah looking bad is so hot right now" (just lightly roasting gen z type style and all that stuff which isn't my vibe obvi) and she said "yeahhh you couldn't be more right" in a kind of way that i could have interpreted as being in reference to ME if she was saying something along the lines of 'you ugly man in a dress' if she IS a closeted terf orrrrrrrr

idk. so much of this is spiraling based on a weird experience and also RSD that goes haywire in situations where my transness has even a 10% chance of being related. but also like. maybe my intuition should be trusted and it really was a bad situation? i just wish i had some neutral way to find out what the hell was going on but it feels so fraught

❀ Kocho Shinobu - A true toss up I think. I can see her liking metal like Slipknot and Korn, but I also see her as a Fiona Apple lover so it's hard.

❀ Uzui Tengen - God he's so unbearable. Listens to a lot of soundcloud stuff and thinks he's better than you because of it. He probably also listens to a lot Lady Gaga and will probably play you a super popular song of her's like Just Dance and say something like "it's super underground you probably haven't even heard it."

❀ Kamado Tanjiro - AJR and Imagine Dragons, probably.

❀ Kamado Nezuko - Physically cringes when her brother turns his music on. She's eclectic, though. She hangs out around Mitsuri and Kanao a lot, so bubblegum pop and goth are worming their way into her heart. Traditionally she enjoys a lot of indie pop, though (think Clairo and such.)

❀ Shinazugawa Genya - Dad rock like Sanemi, except more refined somehow. He also branches out more and got super into QUEEN and the Rolling Stones. 

❀ Tsuyuri Kanao - Godly music taste, I'm convinced she and Giyuu are silently judging everyone. Goth music but like real good goth music (as a goth music enjoyer I'm projecting.) Joy Division, Depeche Mode, Type O Negative, all the classics. 

❀ Hashibira Inosuke - I don't know man....... He probably plays all of his music off of a rock. I seriously cannot decide for him. Probably listens to whatever his friends are listening to.

❀ Agatsuma Zenitsu - ONE DIRECTION BABY. But for real, I feel like he would love love love the Beach Boys! A BLACKPINK fan as well.

Human Fly by The Cramps: I've been listening to a lot of rockabilly/oldhead goth rock recently and I'm loving the cramps! now, tazercraft are so interesting. because mike is 100% the desolation (man's is generally portrayed as a creeper-hybrid for a reason). fire, explosions, aggressive personality, destruction, pain, a shorter temper than pac—he fits it to a t. but pac is the vast, and yes, you're damn right that i'm basing a lot of this off of all of this poor cubito's trauma with water. but his huge self-worth issues also play into it! because insignificance plays a big part in the vast. :D (i could see an argument for the lonely, but i'd argue that due to his relationship with mike it wouldn't work—at least, not without mike also being lonely-touched [which uh. also makes sense.].)

bagi is tricky since she's still fairly new…but i would say the hunt is a pretty good pick for her. she hasn't been as, well, uh, traumatized as cellbit/the others (i just said cellbo because investigator things), so she's still sharp. she doesn't let much get away from her. she's got a sharp eye, a sharp nose, and an iron grip. leave her a clue, she'll solve the puzzle.

Your main girl as you play as is a so-called traveler I honestly forgot the lore because I originally installed this last year, but the short of it is that you have this magic lantern which can transport you into various worlds as some sort of main character, and there you🫵 have to make your choices.

We have a world where you are put in Marie Antoinette's shoes and have to AVOID THE ENTIRE FRENCH REVOLUTION FROM HAPPENING. And you can romance The King Louis XVI, fucking Lafayette or some Swedish c(o)unt tbh I didn't care much for Fersen. He's okay.

What else do we have. I'm still finishing Marie so I can't give in-depth for other stories. We have the Magic Lamp, which is an Aladdin off-shoot. I think. We have Swan Lake where you are the princess being pressured to find a husband, and the Swan Princess is a Prince

Tang Dynasty has some dude with fish ears btw) (you can have romances with some of them🤙), you make choices through the stories, and multiple endings. I know Swan Lake has a few? With the main endings being the Prince, the Villain and "no husband for me, get fucked, men". You can get beheaded in Marie😃 (off-screen). You need the good clothes to pass stages, though, it's like Love Nikki. Craft and collect, use your drip to its max.

There's also gacha because of COURSE there is, but it's like? Surprisingly nice? You can get tickets easily with logins and events, and you can choose a fave book (even if you don't own it) to only get clothes from it (or you can leave it fave-less to get any clothes). It's neat🤙 there's a lotta shit but that's the main of it.
